Abstract:
Abstract: The structural analysis programme ETABS V19 and STAAD PRO connect edition has employed. The results were compared to both the software used in present study. Results show that the natural time period is 14.68% more as per STAAD compared with ETAB it observed that it is 58.72% approximately decreasing for diagrid structure, the storey drift is 46.58% more as per STAAD PRO compared with ETAB, however it is 35.99% approximately increasing for diagrid structure. The displacement is 3.98% more as per STAAD PRO compared with ETAB however it is 32.09% approximately decreasing for diagrid structure. It is observed that the stiffness of the floor is 89.64% less as per STAAD PRO compared with ETAB for however it is 89.78% decreasing for diagrid structure. Results show that the base shear is 88.56% more as per STAAD PRO compared with ETAB, however it is 67.5% approximately increasing for diagrid structure for G+19 conventional building.

Abstract:
Background The objective of this study was to determine whether endothelin-A receptor blockade (ETAB) impairs hemodynamic and hormonal regulation compared with controls and angiotensin II receptor blockade (AT1B) during hypotensive hemorrhage in dogs under isoflurane-nitrous oxide anesthesia. Methods Six dogs were studied in four protocols: (1) control experiments (controls); (2) ETA blockade using ABT-627 (ETAB); (3) AT1 blockade using losartan (AT1B); and (4) combined AT1B and ETAB (AT1B + ETAB). After a 30-min awake period, isoflurane-nitrous oxide anesthesia was established (1.3 minimum anesthetic concentration). After 60 min of anesthesia, 20 ml blood/kg body weight was withdrawn within 5 min, and the dogs were observed for another hour. Thereafter, the blood was retransfused, and the dogs were observed for a final hour. Results Anesthesia: Cardiac output decreased in all protocols, whereas mean arterial pressure decreased more in AT1B and AT1B + ETAB than in controls and ETAB. Hemorrhage: After 60 min, cardiac output had decreased less in controls than in all other protocols. Mean arterial pressure decreased more during ETAB than in controls, but most severely during AT1B and AT1B + ETAB. Angiotensin II increased further only in controls and ETAB, whereas vasopressin and catecholamines increased similarly in all protocols. Retransfusion: Mean arterial pressure remained below controls in all protocols but was lowest when the AT1 receptor was blocked. Cardiac output fully recovered in all but the ETAB protocol. Conclusions ETAB impairs long-term hemodynamic regulation after hemorrhage and retransfusion during anesthesia despite an activation of vasoconstrictive hormones. This suggests that endothelins have a role in long-term cardiovascular regulation. AT1B impairs both short- and long-term blood pressure regulation during anesthesia and after hemorrhage.

One of these promoter element, a TATA-like box which we call the EBER TATA box, or ETAB, is located in a position typical for a class II TATA box but contains G/C residues in the normal T/A motif and a conserved thymidine doublet. Experiments using chloramphenicol acetyltransferase constructs and mutations in the TATA box of the adenovirus major late promoter showed that the ETAB promoter element does not substitute for a class II TATA box. From these results, we conclude that the ETAB promoter element is important for the exclusive transcription of the EBER 2 gene by RNA polymerase III.

In this project all structural elements of circular water tank are analysed and design by using manually and ETAB software . this project giuesin brief ,The theory behind the design of liquid retaining structures (Elevated circular water tank ) using limit state method with reference to IS: 3370 (2009)and IS456:2000 The behaviour of structure for the parameters like story drift ,displacement stiffness ,deflection ,storey shear ,base shear , area of steel ,for circular water tank are studied on ETAB software and then comparison of the results is made between manually design By this study we say that the circular water tank analysis and design on ETAB software is more economical and safe than manually design of water tank. Abstract:
A multiplex PCR assay for detection of genes for staphylococcal enterotoxins A to E (entA, entB,entC, entD, and entE), toxic shock syndrome toxin 1 (tst), exfoliative toxins A and B (etaA and etaB), and intrinsic methicillin resistance (mecA) was developed. Detection offemA was used as an internal positive control. The multiplex PCR assay combined the primers for sea tosee and femA in one set and those foreta, etb, tst, mecA, and femA in the other set. Validation of the assay was performed using 176 human isolates of Staphylococcus aureus. This assay offers a very specific, quick, reliable, and inexpensive alternative to conventional PCR assays used in clinical laboratories to identify various staphylococcal toxin genes.

Abstract:
Increased endothelin-1 (ET-1) levels were found in patients with chronic renal failure and these correlate with the severity of renal failure. Increased mortality due to cardiovascular problems is observed in patients with elevated ET-1 concentrations. The aim of this study was to find out the influence of ET-1 and ET receptor antagonists on myocardial protein kinase C (PKC) regulation in uraemic cardiomyopathy. Male rats were subtotally nephrectomized and treated with an ETA-receptor antagonist (30mg·kg-1·day-1, LU302146) or an ETAB-receptor antagonist (30mg·kg-1·day-1, LU302872) for 12 weeks. One group was left untreated (SNX) and one group was sham-operated (sham). Systolic blood pressure, myocardial weight and the changes of the protein kinase C isoforms in the heart were determined. PKC isoforms α and δ were investigated by Western blot analysis using specific antibodies. In the SNX group, systolic blood pressure rose to 154±5mmHg after 12 weeks. The ETA receptor antagonist prevented this increase in blood pressure, but ETAB antagonism did not. Left ventricular weight increased in SNX; this increase was inhibited by the ETA receptor antagonist. In comparison with the sham group, PKC isoform α increased by 19% in SNX animals. When the SNX animals were treated with ETA or ETAB antagonists, PKC isoform α levels decreased by 31%. PKC isoform δ levels decreased by 35% in SNX animals. Treatment with both ETA or ETAB antagonists increased PKC isoform δ levels to normal. In the myocardium of uraemic rats PKC isoforms are differentially regulated with an increase in α isoform but a decrease in δ isoform. ET receptor blockers normalize these PKC isoforms.

The purpose of this community service is to provide appropriate technology in the form of an official website, training in the preparation of interesting social media content for marketing, as well as training in making digital-based financial reports in Pipitan Tourism Village, Serang City. Pipitan Tourism Village is a Tourism Village that was formed in 2019 with the establishment decision letter number 821/25 of 2020 concerning the Designation of Pipitan Tourism Village from the Serang City tourism office. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has made this tourist village empty of visitors. For this reason, in the new normal, a strategy is needed on how to bring back tourist visits to Pipitan Tourism Village, including through digital marketing, namely through the official website which is currently not owned. The second strategy is to rearrange the content on social media to make it more interesting so that it can have a selling value. In addition, the recording of financial reports conducted by Pokdarwis is also still simple and done manually and not in accordance with the ETAB standard, so training is needed on how to prepare financial reports that comply with ETAB standards and are digitally based.. Kata kunci: Pipitan Tourism Village, Digital Marketing, Digital Financial Reports Abstract Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan teknologi tepat guna berupa official website, pelatihan penyusunan konten media social yang menarik untuk pemasaran, serta pelatihan pembuatan laporan keuangan berbasis digital di Kampung Wisata Pipitan, Kota Serang. Kampung Wisata Pipitan merupakan Kampung Wisata yang terbentuk pada tahun 2019 dengan nomor SK pendirian No. 821/25 Tahun 2020 tentang Penetapan Kampung Wisata Pipitan dari dinas pariwisata Kota Serang. Akan tetapi adanya pandemic COVID-19 membuat kampung wisata ini sepi pengunjung. Untuk itu, di masa normal baru diperlukan strategi bagaimana mendatangkan kembali kunjungan wisatawan ke Kampung Wisata Pipitan, diantaranya adalah melalui pemasaran digital yaitu melalui official website yang sekarang belum dimiliki. Strategi yang kedua adalah menata ulang isi konten-konten yang ada di media sosialnya supaya lebih menarik sehingga dapat memiliki nilai jual. Selain itu, pencatatan laporan keuangan yang dilakukan Pokdarwis juga masih sederhama dan dilakukan secara manual serta belum sesuai dengan standar ETAB, sehingga diperlukan pelatihan bagaimana menyusun laporan keuangan yang sesuai standar ETAB dan berbasis digital. Lesões medulares traumáticas resultam em um dano neurológico que, geralmente, resulta em dor neuropática, a qual impacta negativamente a qualidade de vida dos lesados medulares. As endotelinas são peptídeos que exercem seus efeitos através dos receptores ETA (ETAR) e ETB (ETBR) e, contribuem para alterações sensoriais associadas aos processos inflamatórios e dores neuropáticas. No entanto, o envolvimento desses receptores na dor neuropática após trauma medular precisa ser elucidado. Ratos Wistar machos foram submetidos a lesão medular traumática no nível torácico T10 por compressão através de catéter Fogarty-2F. As avaliações comportamentais e coletas de amostras foram realizadas em 2, 7, 14, 21 e 28 dias após o procedimento cirúrgico. Os níveis de expressão dos receptores ETA e ETB foram mensurados através de western blot e imunohistoquímica, e seus correpondentes níveis de RNAm avaliados por PCR-em tempo real. Além de avaliações funcionais pela escala BBB e comportamentais através de filamentos de von Frey e avaliação de sensibilidade térmica por aparato de Hargreave s nas patas anteriores e posteriores . No dia 28 o escore BBB destes animais foi de 4 pontos, que se caracteriza por movimento discreto das três articulações  quadril, joelho e tornozelo. No entanto, os animais lesados medulares tiveram um aumento significativo em comparação ao grupo falso-operado nas respostas ao estímulo mecânico das patas posteriores, tanto com o filamento de 4 gramas quanto com o de 15 gramas. Essas alterações de sensibilidade foram significantes entre os dia 14 e 28 após o procedimento cirúrgico. O dano medular resultou no desenvolvimento de hiperalgesia nos membros posteriores a partir do 14o dia após a lesão medular, redução na sensibilidade térmica a partir do 7o dia, um aumento nos níveis de RNAm para ETAR e ETBR, além de um aumento na expressão da proteína do receptor ETA na medula espinhal. Observou-se, também, um aumento da expresão de ETAR na substância cinzenta da medula espinhal de animais lesados medulares no 14 dias após o trauma. O tratamento no 21o dia após a lesão medular com antagonista peptídico de ETAR, BQ-123 (40 e 90 pmol, i.t.) e tratamento com o antagonista dual para ETAR e ETBR, bosentan (30 and 100 mg/kg, oralmente) foram capazes de reduzir significativamente a hiperalgesia por algumas horas após o tratamento, no entanto o tratamento com o antagonista seletivo para ETBR, BQ-788 (20 e 90 pmol, i.t), foi ineficaz na redução da hiperalgesia. Assim, esse estudo demonstra que há uma participação de ETAR e ETBR, na dor neuropática decorrente do trauma medular, em especial do ETAR e estes resultadados podem contribuir para o desenvolvimento de novas terapias para o tratamento desta importante comorbidade dos lesados medulares.

Abstract : Traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) is a devastating neurologic disorder that often inflicts neuropathic pain, which further impacts negatively on the patient s quality of life. Endothelin peptides, which exert their effects via endothelin A (ETAR) and endothelin B (ETBR) receptors, can contribute to sensory changes associated with inflammatory and neuropathic pain, but their role in nociception following SCI is unknown. At different time points (2, 7, 14, 21 and 28 d) after subjecting male Wistar rats to surgery for compression-induced T10 level SCI, the spinal cord levels of ETAR and ETBR were assessed by Western blot and immunohistochemistry, and the corresponding mRNAs by real-time PCR, alongside recordings of locomotor behaviour by BBB scale and behavioral responses to mechanical and thermal stimulation of the forepaws and hind paws with von Frey hairs. Animal subjected to SCI ended the 28th time-period with a score of 4 within the BBB scale, which represents slight movements of the hip, knee and ankle. SCI was associated with development of hind paw mechanical hyperalgesia from day 14 onwards and heat hyperalgesia from day 7 to day 21, and up-regulation of ETAR and ETBR mRNA in the spinal cord and of ETAR protein in the spinal cord. SCI increased ETAR protein expression in spinal grey matter on the 14th day after injury. Treatment on day 21 after surgery with the ETAR selective antagonist BQ-123 (40 and 90 pmol, i.t.) or the dual ETAR/ETBR antagonist bosentan (30 and 100 mg/kg, orally) transiently reduced SCI-induced mechanical hyperalgesia, but the ETBR antagonist BQ-788 (20 and 90 pmol, i.t.) was ineffective. Conclusions. Altogether, these data show that SCI upregulates ETAR expression in the spinal cord, which appears to contribute to the hind paw mechanical hyperalgesia associated with this condition. Therapies directed towards blockade of spinal ETAR may hold potential to limit SCI-induced neuropathic pain.

La premiere partie de la these est centree sur la formation de l'etat moderne en occident et sert de cadre global permettant de situer l'analyse du cas mexicain, objet de la deuxieme partie dans laquelle un survol historique - des azteques au xxeme siecle - nous aide a deceler tant les ca- racteristiques traditionnelles de l'etat mexicain contemporain que celles qui sont modernes (et proviennent de l'exterieur). Au terme de cette etude nous pouvons avancer quelques conclusions : a) forte tradition d'etat centralise, hierarchise, qui controle et organise la societe, d'ou la faiblesse de la societe civile; b) continuite rupture; introduction de la modernite du dehors dans une structure pyramidale de do- mination qui subsiste a travers les siecles; c) quant a la nature de la cou- che qui detient le pouvoir, on ne saurait parler de bourgeoisie au sens pro- pre du terme; nous proposons le concept de bureaucratie - celle-ci s'expri- me par l'institution et l'institutionnel -, le systeme mexicain etant selon nous un capitalisme d'etat (qui depend des grandes puissances et du capital international); d) constatation d'une continuite dans la lutte entre deux projets : celui de la couche dominante (projet etatique) et celui des cou- ches populaires (projet social autonome) qui surgit de temps en temps a la faveur des crises revolutionnaires; le premier s'est construit sur l'ecrase- ment et la recuperation du second, cette derniere permettant de repandre l' image de l'etat bienfaiteur (l'ogre philanthropique, d'apres o. Paz); e) l'introduction de la modernite accentue la scission entre forme et contenu; la forme devient une fin en soi, d'ou un gout tres prononce pour l'apparence, qui fait partie integrante de la pratique politique et gagne tous les niveaux de la prati- que sociale; c'est ainsi que la rationalite etatique mexicaine est plus une forme qu'une realite, forme (la pyramide) qui exprime tres bien l'ordre bureaucratique
The first part of this thesis is based on the formation of the modern state in occident, as a global framework which permits to situate the analysis of the mexican case, theme of the part two, in which an historical study - from the aztecs to the 20th century - helps us to find the traditional characteristics of the contemporary mexican state and those which are mo- dern (and come from abroad). At the end of the work, we can give some con- clusions : a) strong tradition of a centralized, hierarchized state, who controls and organizes the society, with the subsequent debility of the civil society; b) continuity rupture; introduction of the modernity from abroad in pyra- midal structure of domination which survives through the centuries; c) as for the nature of the sector who has the power, we think that it is not a bourgeoisie in the proper sense of the word; we propose the concept of bu- reaucracy - which expresses herself through the institution and the insti- tutional - because according to us the mexican system is a capitalism of state (which depends on the great powers and on the international capital; d) continuity of the fight between two projects: the one of the dominant sector (state project) and the one of the popular sectors (social autonomous project) which appears from time to time during the revolutionary crisis; the first one has been built up on the defeat and the integration of the second one, and this integration enables to propagate the image of the welfare state (the philanthropic ogre, according to o. Paz); e) the intro- duction of the modernity increases the division between form and substance; the form becomes an objective per se, with the result of a very strong li- king for the appearance which forms a part of the political practice and affects all the levels of the social practice; therefore, the mexican state rationality is more a form than a reality, and this form (the pyra- mid) expresses very well the bureaucratic order

Abstract:
L'etude entreprise a pour objet l'analyse d'un phenomene en pleine expansion : la soumission des etats a des tribunaux etrangers, a l'occasion de litiges les opposant a des personnes privees. Cette soumission peut etre volontaire, lorsqu'un etat prend l'initiative d'une action en justice devant un tribunal etatique etranger ; elle peut etre forcee lorsqu'un etat est assigne, contre son gre, devant un tribunal etranger. Le premier aspect est notamment connu pour avoir donne naissance a la doctrine des immunites juridictionnelles des etats. Le second aspect, qui demeure encore exceptionnel dans la pratique, a connu quelques illustrations eclatantes ces dernieres annees. Le probleme juridique qu'ont a trancher les juges saisis est celui de savoir : dans quelle mesure un etat souverain peut etre soumis a la juridiction du for ? dans le cadre de la presente etude, la solution du probleme ainsi pose est recherchee principalement a travers l'analyse de la pratique des etats. A cet egard, l'etude comparative des droits relevant du common law et ceux de la famille romanogermanique parait determinante. En outre, l'analyse des constructions doctrinales permet d'enrichir le debat. De facon generale, les solutions sont fondees soit sur des arguments de nature juridique, soit sur des motifs lies a l'opportunite politique. Elles laissent parfois apparaitre des insuffisances ou des incoherences, sur le plan theorique
The object of this present study is to analyse a growing phenomenon : states submission to foreign courts in the case of litigations against private persons. This submission can be optional when a state takes the initiative of a judicial action before a foreign municipal court ; it can be mandatory when a state is assigned before a foreign court. It is well known that the first aspect gave rise to the doctrine of jurisdictional immunities. Lately, there have been some remarkable examples of the second aspect which remains exceptional in practice. The judges, to whom the above mentioned litigations are submitted, have to settle the legal problem of when a foreign sovereign state can be submitted to the jurisdiction of the forum. This study discusses possible solutions to the problem through the analysis of specific national examples. In this respect, comparative study of continental and common law national legal systems is indispensable. Moreover, the analysis of the opinions of legal experts enrich the debate. In general, the solutions are based on legal criteria or on pragmatic considerations. However, theories remain inadequate or incoherent

Pourquoi la modernisation de l'Etat ne s'est-elle pas réalisée ? Où se situent les défaillances dans ce processus réformateur conduit à travers un siècle ? En guise de réponse à cette lourde problématique on peut affirmer que si en Tunisie le processus de la Nahda (renaissance) n'a pas généré l'institutionnalisation du pouvoir et la socialisation du politique et si la genèse de l'âge idéologique n'a pas accouché de la Modernité mais de l'Anomie, ceci est " principalement" dû, non à une impossible harmonisation de la théologie (Islam) avec l'idéologie (Modernité), à l'incomptatibilité entre communauté (traditionnelle) et société (citoyenne), mais à la reconduction par le nouvel Etat de la formule patrimoniale de son devancier
Tunisia was long considered as a model of harmonious development helping us to understand the wole process of modernization and therefore was looked on favorably until a turn in its history took it " back to the sacred ". Why couldn't the modernity of state be achieved ? What hampered this century old process of reforms ? An answer to this serious issue is that if inTunisia the process of the Nahda (rebirth) didn't end up in, didn't generate the institutionalization of power and socialization of politics and if the era of ideology didn't achieve modernity but anomie, it is mainly because the new state carried on with the patrimonial formula of its precursor and not because of an impossible harmonization between theology (Islam) and ideology (Modernity) or incompatibility of the community (traditional) and society (citizenship)

Abstract:
A common way for exposing RDF data on the Web is by means of SPARQL endpoints which allow end users and applications to query just the RDF data they want. However, servers hosting SPARQL endpoints often restrict access to the data by limiting the amount of results returned per query or the amount of queries per time that a client may issue. As this may affect query completeness when using SPARQL1.1's federated query extension, we analysed different strategies to implement federated queries with the goal to circumvent endpoint limits. We show that some seemingly intuitive methods for decomposing federated queries provide unsound results in the general case, and provide fixes or discuss under which restrictions these recipes are still applicable. Finally, we evaluate the proposed strategies for checking their feasibility in practice.

The aim of this thesis is going to concentrate on the issues associated with the technology of mechanically anchored coating waterproofing of roofs. Today the mechanical anchoring belongs to the most widespread way of how to stabilize the layers of roofing material against the effects of wind uplift particularly in indoor buildings. However some malfunctions occur more and more frequently which cause leaking into the constructions or even the destruction of the whole roof in the worse cases. The practical part of this thesis is going to concentrate on the fasterners which belong to the most important elements of the mechanical anchored system. The aim of the experimental measurement is to draw a comparison of the quality of fasteners which are distributed on the Czech market. Thereafter the obtained figures are going to be compared with the theoretical calculating procedures according to the valid designed standards.

Dans ce memoire, nous avons etudie les mecanismes de transport electronique de cristaux supraconducteurs a haute temperature critique (t c) dans l'etat normal et l'etat mixte. L'etude de la magnetoresistivite selon l'axe $$c dans l'etat normal montre le role important joue par les fluctuations supraconductrices. En considerant la renormalisation de la densite d'etat au niveau de fermi, nous montrons que le modele base sur les fluctuations supraconductrices decrit parfaitement les resultats en champ parallele a l'axe $$c et obtenus sur les composes tlhg-2223, hg-1201 et bi-2212. Toutefois, l'etude menee pour differentes configurations de champ et de courant sur un echantillon de bi-2212 optimise suggere un role important des spins dans les mecanismes de transport. Dans l'etat mixte, nous avons etudie la dimensionnalite des vortex par deux approches. Dans la premiere approche, nous avons compare nos resultats aux descriptions 2d et 3d proposees dans la litterature. Nous mettons ainsi en evidence, dans un compose de bi-2212, une ligne de decouplage dans l'etat liquide au-dessus de laquelle les vortex se comportent comme des entites bidimensionnelles (la dissipation selon l'axe $$c est alors due aux changements de phase des vortex situes dans les plans cuo 2). En dessous de cette ligne, un comportement 3d des vortex est observe en accord avec la modelisation 3d plastique de creation de boucles. Dans la seconde approche, nous nous sommes interesses a la chute brutale a zero observee dans la dependance en temperature de c(t) dans le tlhg-2223, et interpretee en termes de transition de fusion et/ou de decouplage. Nos resultats semblent correspondre a une transition de fusion ou les couplages josephson et electromagnetique jouent un role majeur a bas champ. A haut champ, la prise en compte des effets non locaux sur la transition de fusion semble plus realiste.

Abstract:
Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) is believed to be the theory of strong interactions. At high energies, it has been successfully applied to explain the interactions in accelerators. At these energies, the method used to do the calculations is perturbation theory. But at low energies, since the strong coupling constant becomes large, perturbation theory is no longer applicable. Hence, one needs non-perturbative approaches. Some of these approaches are based on the fundamental QCD Lagrangian, such as the QCD sum rules or lattice calculations. Some others use an effective theory approach to relate experimental observables one to the other. Chiral Perturbation Theory (ChPT) is one of these approaches. In this thesis, we make a review of chiral perturbation theory and its applications to study the mixing phenomenon between the neutral pseudoscalar mesons eta and eta-prime.

<p>The European Assessment Documents (EAD) introduced in 2020 by the European Organization for Technical Assessment (EOTA) to govern the technical assessment of expansion joints for road bridges represent a strong development from the corresponding European Technical Approval Guideline from 2013, ETAG 032. The EADs’ requirements, which may be used by manufacturers to obtain a European Technical Assessment (ETA), significantly exceed those of any other common national specification for expansion joints in Europe or on an international level, especially in relation to the very demanding field and laboratory testing specified. This improved basis for the assessment of expansion joint performance can be expected to result in expansion joints that are far more robust and durable than those that are designed to comply with any other widely used standard.</p>
