Abstract:

Abstract: The structural analysis programme ETABS V19 and STAAD PRO connect edition has employed. The results were compared to both the software used in present study. Results show that the natural time period is 14.68% more as per STAAD compared with ETAB it observed that it is 58.72% approximately decreasing for diagrid structure, the storey drift is 46.58% more as per STAAD PRO compared with ETAB, however it is 35.99% approximately increasing for diagrid structure. The displacement is 3.98% more as per STAAD PRO compared with ETAB however it is 32.09% approximately decreasing for diagrid structure. It is observed that the stiffness of the floor is 89.64% less as per STAAD PRO compared with ETAB for however it is 89.78% decreasing for diagrid structure. Results show that the base shear is 88.56% more as per STAAD PRO compared with ETAB, however it is 67.5% approximately increasing for diagrid structure for G+19 conventional building.

Abstract:

Background The objective of this study was to determine whether endothelin-A receptor blockade (ETAB) impairs hemodynamic and hormonal regulation compared with controls and angiotensin II receptor blockade (AT1B) during hypotensive hemorrhage in dogs under isoflurane-nitrous oxide anesthesia. Methods Six dogs were studied in four protocols: (1) control experiments (controls); (2) ETA blockade using ABT-627 (ETAB); (3) AT1 blockade using losartan (AT1B); and (4) combined AT1B and ETAB (AT1B + ETAB). After a 30-min awake period, isoflurane-nitrous oxide anesthesia was established (1.3 minimum anesthetic concentration). After 60 min of anesthesia, 20 ml blood/kg body weight was withdrawn within 5 min, and the dogs were observed for another hour. Thereafter, the blood was retransfused, and the dogs were observed for a final hour. Results Anesthesia: Cardiac output decreased in all protocols, whereas mean arterial pressure decreased more in AT1B and AT1B + ETAB than in controls and ETAB. Hemorrhage: After 60 min, cardiac output had decreased less in controls than in all other protocols. Mean arterial pressure decreased more during ETAB than in controls, but most severely during AT1B and AT1B + ETAB. Angiotensin II increased further only in controls and ETAB, whereas vasopressin and catecholamines increased similarly in all protocols. Retransfusion: Mean arterial pressure remained below controls in all protocols but was lowest when the AT1 receptor was blocked. Cardiac output fully recovered in all but the ETAB protocol. Conclusions ETAB impairs long-term hemodynamic regulation after hemorrhage and retransfusion during anesthesia despite an activation of vasoconstrictive hormones. This suggests that endothelins have a role in long-term cardiovascular regulation. AT1B impairs both short- and long-term blood pressure regulation during anesthesia and after hemorrhage.

Abstract:

The Epstein-Barr virus-encoded small RNA (EBER) genes are transcribed by RNA polymerase III, but their transcription unit appears to contain both class II and class III promoter elements. One of these promoter element, a TATA-like box which we call the EBER TATA box, or ETAB, is located in a position typical for a class II TATA box but contains G/C residues in the normal T/A motif and a conserved thymidine doublet. Experiments using chloramphenicol acetyltransferase constructs and mutations in the TATA box of the adenovirus major late promoter showed that the ETAB promoter element does not substitute for a class II TATA box. However, when the ETAB promoter element sequence was changed to a class II TATA box consensus sequence, the EBER 2 gene was transcribed in vitro by both RNA polymerases II and III. From these results, we conclude that the ETAB promoter element is important for the exclusive transcription of the EBER 2 gene by RNA polymerase III.

In this project all structural elements of circular water tank are analysed and design by using manually and ETAB software . this project giuesin brief ,The theory behind the design of liquid retaining structures (Elevated circular water tank ) using limit state method with reference to IS: 3370 (2009)and IS456:2000 The behaviour of structure for the parameters like story drift ,displacement stiffness ,deflection ,storey shear ,base shear , area of steel ,for circular water tank are studied on ETAB software and then comparison of the results is made between manually design By this study we say that the circular water tank analysis and design on ETAB software is more economical and safe than manually design of water tank. Abstract:

A multiplex PCR assay for detection of genes for staphylococcal enterotoxins A to E (entA, entB,entC, entD, and entE), toxic shock syndrome toxin 1 (tst), exfoliative toxins A and B (etaA and etaB), and intrinsic methicillin resistance (mecA) was developed. Detection offemA was used as an internal positive control. The multiplex PCR assay combined the primers for sea tosee and femA in one set and those foreta, etb, tst, mecA, and femA in the other set. Validation of the assay was performed using 176 human isolates of Staphylococcus aureus. This assay offers a very specific, quick, reliable, and inexpensive alternative to conventional PCR assays used in clinical laboratories to identify various staphylococcal toxin genes.

Abstract:

Increased endothelin-1 (ET-1) levels were found in patients with chronic renal failure and these correlate with the severity of renal failure. Increased mortality due to cardiovascular problems is observed in patients with elevated ET-1 concentrations. The aim of this study was to find out the influence of ET-1 and ET receptor antagonists on myocardial protein kinase C (PKC) regulation in uraemic cardiomyopathy. Male rats were subtotally nephrectomized and treated with an ETA-receptor antagonist (30mg·kg-1·day-1, LU302146) or an ETAB-receptor antagonist (30mg·kg-1·day-1, LU302872) for 12 weeks. One group was left untreated (SNX) and one group was sham-operated (sham). Systolic blood pressure, myocardial weight and the changes of the protein kinase C isoforms in the heart were determined. PKC isoforms α and δ were investigated by Western blot analysis using specific antibodies. In the SNX group, systolic blood pressure rose to 154±5mmHg after 12 weeks. The ETA receptor antagonist prevented this increase in blood pressure, but ETAB antagonism did not. Left ventricular weight increased in SNX; this increase was inhibited by the ETA receptor antagonist. In comparison with the sham group, PKC isoform α increased by 19% in SNX animals. When the SNX animals were treated with ETA or ETAB antagonists, PKC isoform α levels decreased by 31%. PKC isoform δ levels decreased by 35% in SNX animals. Treatment with both ETA or ETAB antagonists increased PKC isoform δ levels to normal. In the myocardium of uraemic rats PKC isoforms are differentially regulated with an increase in α isoform but a decrease in δ isoform. ET receptor blockers normalize these PKC isoforms.

The purpose of this community service is to provide appropriate technology in the form of an official website, training in the preparation of interesting social media content for marketing, as well as training in making digital-based financial reports in Pipitan Tourism Village, Serang City. Pipitan Tourism Village is a Tourism Village that was formed in 2019 with the establishment decision letter number 821/25 of 2020 concerning the Designation of Pipitan Tourism Village from the Serang City tourism office. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has made this tourist village empty of visitors. For this reason, in the new normal, a strategy is needed on how to bring back tourist visits to Pipitan Tourism Village, including through digital marketing, namely through the official website which is currently not owned. The second strategy is to rearrange the content on social media to make it more interesting so that it can have a selling value. In addition, the recording of financial reports conducted by Pokdarwis is also still simple and done manually and not in accordance with the ETAB standard, so training is needed on how to prepare financial reports that comply with ETAB standards and are digitally based.. Kata kunci: Pipitan Tourism Village, Digital Marketing, Digital Financial Reports Abstract Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan teknologi tepat guna berupa official website, pelatihan penyusunan konten media social yang menarik untuk pemasaran, serta pelatihan pembuatan laporan keuangan berbasis digital di Kampung Wisata Pipitan, Kota Serang. Kampung Wisata Pipitan merupakan Kampung Wisata yang terbentuk pada tahun 2019 dengan nomor SK pendirian No. 821/25 Tahun 2020 tentang Penetapan Kampung Wisata Pipitan dari dinas pariwisata Kota Serang. Akan tetapi adanya pandemic COVID-19 membuat kampung wisata ini sepi pengunjung. Untuk itu, di masa normal baru diperlukan strategi bagaimana mendatangkan kembali kunjungan wisatawan ke Kampung Wisata Pipitan, diantaranya adalah melalui pemasaran digital yaitu melalui official website yang sekarang belum dimiliki. Strategi yang kedua adalah menata ulang isi konten-konten yang ada di media sosialnya supaya lebih menarik sehingga dapat memiliki nilai jual. Selain itu, pencatatan laporan keuangan yang dilakukan Pokdarwis juga masih sederhama dan dilakukan secara manual serta belum sesuai dengan standar ETAB, sehingga diperlukan pelatihan bagaimana menyusun laporan keuangan yang sesuai standar ETAB dan berbasis digital. Se han presentado propuestas de reforma integral del proceso penal español (en 2011 y en 2012) y se ha aprovechado para incorporar la mediación penal en ellas. Pero es imposible o poco probable que las mismas vean la luz. Urge abordar cuestiones procesales vinculadas a la mediación penal para asegurar o favorecer su efectividad (principio de oportunidad, interrupción de la acción penal, limitación de la acusación popular, etc.) y esclarecer otras muchas que no son tratadas suficientemente en las propuestas de reforma (ámbito de aplicación, régimen de la conformidad, etc.). ABSTRACT: It is increasingly urgent to incorporate the criminal mediation to the Spanish legal order. It is imposed by international obligations. Some proposals of integral reform of the Spanish criminal procedure have been advanced (in 2011 and in 2012) and has been used to incorporate the criminal mediation to them. But it is impossible or not very likely that they see the light. It is urgent to tackle procedural issues linked to the criminal mediation in order to guarantee or favor its effectiveness (principle of opportunity, stay of the criminal action, limitation of the public prosecution, etc.) and untangle other many that are sufficiently addressed in the proposals of refor (field of application, regime of conformity, etc.).

This paper considers the bicriteria scheduling problem of minimizing the total earliness and the total tardiness on a single machine with release dates. In view of the fact that the problem has been characterized as NP-Hard, we propose two approximation algorithms (labeled as ETA1 and ETA2) for solving the problem. The proposed algorithms were compared with the MA heuristic selected from the literature. The two criteria (the total earliness and the total tardiness) were aggregated together into a linear composite objective function (LCOF). The performances of the algorithms were evaluated based on both effectiveness and efficiency. The algorithms were tested on a set of 1200 randomly generated single machine scheduling problems. Experimental results show that both the ETA1 and ETA2 algorithms outperformed (in terms of effectiveness and efficiency) the MA heuristic under all the considered problem sizes. Also, the ETA1 algorithm outperformed the ETA2 algorithm when the number of jobs (n) ranges between 20 and 500.

In this present study, a Genetic function approximation (GFA) QSAR analysis of some selected Schiff bases with anti-S. typhi activity was performed using OD,1D, 2D and 3D descriptors resulting in the generation of three statistically significant models from which an octa-parametric model was selected as the most robust model with R2 = 0.8589, R2adj = 0.8155, Q2 = 0.7437,R2 - Q2 = 0.1152, r2 r02 / r2 =0.00, r2 r02 / r2 = 0.0263, K = 1.0E-7, K = 0.1969. The optimization model hinted the dominant influence of the size descriptor ETA-Eta-B (Branching index EtaB relative to molecular size) on the observed anti-S.typhi activity of Schiff bases. It is envisaged that the QSAR results identified in this study will offer important structural insight into designing novel anti-S.typhi drugs from Schiff bases.

The effects of endothelin (ET)-A (ETA)- and ETB-receptor agonist and antagonists were studied in isolated buffer-perfused rat lungs subjected to 45 min of ischemia followed by 105 min of reperfusion (I/R). For the I/R group after 30 and 90 min of reperfusion, the Kfc had increased three- and fivefold above control values, respectively (P < 0.01), and the number of circulating neutrophils in the perfusate decreased by 65 +/- 7.65%. Both an ETA-receptor antagonist (BQ-610) and an ETAB-receptor antagonist (PD-156707-0015) given before the ischemic period protected the lung endothelial barrier from injury associated with I/R. Also, these compounds attenuated the I/R-induced neutrophil accumulation in the lung (31.94 +/- 4.16 and 34.38 +/- 1.05%, respectively; P < 0.01 compared with I/R). Neither an ETB-receptor agonist (IRL-1620) nor an ETB-receptor antagonist (IRL-1038) affected the I/R-induced endothelial injury. In addition, they did not alter the number of circulating polymorphonuclear cells during I/R. ET-1 administration alone caused a dose-dependent increase in pulmonary arterial pressure, but no measurable increase in microvascular permeability occurred. We conclude that ET-1 is involved in I/R-induced lung endothelial injury and speculate that it acts in concert with some other coactivator(s), most likely platelet-activating factor, through ETA receptors. This mechanism requires polymorphonuclear leukocyte activation with subsequent release of oxygen radicals and/or expression of adhesive molecules on the neutrophil surface.

An experimentally validated computer simulation model has been developed for the analysis of gas-phase and droplet characteristics of isothermal sprays generated by pressure jet atomizers. Employing a coupled Euler-Lagrange approach for the gas-droplet flow, secondary droplet breakup (based on the ETAB model), was assumed to be dominant and the k-ε model was selected for simulating the gas flow. Specifically, transient spray formation in terms of turbulent gas flow as well as droplet velocities and size distributions are provided for different back pressures. Clearly, two-way coupling of the phases is important because of the impact of significant gas entrainment, droplet momentum transfer, and turbulent dispersion. Several spray phenomena are discussed in light of low back-pressure (1atm) and high back-pressure (30atm) environments. At low back-pressure, sprays have long thin geometric features and penetrate faster and deeper than at high back-pressures because of the measurable change in air density and hence drag force. Away from the nozzle exit under relatively high back pressures, there is no distinct droplet size difference between peripheral and core regions because of the high droplet Weber numbers, leading to very small droplets which move randomly. In contrast to transient spray developments, under steady-state conditions droplets are subject to smaller drag forces due to the fully-developed gas entrainment velocities which reduce gas-liquid slip. Turbulent dispersion influences droplet trajectories significantly because of the impact of random gas-phase fluctuations.

ABSTRACT Eleven PhoP-PhoS homolog pairs were identified by searching the Enterococcus faecalis V583 genome sequence database at The Institute for Genomic Research with the Bacillus subtilis PhoP-PhoS sequences. Each pair appears to be a potential two-component system composed of a response regulator and a sensor kinase. Seven of the homologs were disrupted in E. faecalis strain OG1RF. TX10293, a mutant disrupted in one of these genes (etaR, the first gene of the gene pair designated etaRS), showed delayed killing and a higher 50% lethal dose in a mouse peritonitis model. The predicted EtaR protein sequence showed greatest similarity to LisR of Listeria monocytogenes (77%) and CsrR of Streptococcus pyogenes (70%); EtaS is 53% similar to LisK and 54% similar to CsrS. When grown in vitro, the TX10293 mutant was more sensitive to low pH (pH 3.4) and more resistant to high temperature (55°C) than wild-type OG1RF. In conclusion, many potential two-component systems are identified for E. faecalis, one of which, EtaRS, was shown to be involved in stress response and virulence.

— Rapid growth of infrastructure to accommodate modern civilization is demanding tall structures in cities. As buildings become taller the problem of their lateral stability and sway needs to be tackled by engineering judgment. Outrigger systems have been successfully applied in reducing the lateral displacement of tall buildings under wind and earthquake forces. Numerous studies have been carried out for determining optimum positions of outriggers in high rise structures; however, effect of earthquake zones and soil types on optimum position of outriggers has not been adequately studied. In the present paper, an analysis of a 70 storied RCC highrise structure provided with and without virtual outrigger system is carried out for determining optimum position of RCC outriggers. The structure has been analyzed to study its behavior under wind and earthquake forces, considering its location in different seismic zones (II, III. IV and V) and also in different types of soils (soft, medium and hard) using “ETAB” software. The virtual outriggers (RCC belt) were provided at seven different levels along the height structure (H/4, 3H/8, H/2, 5H/8, 3H/4, 7H/8 and H) with top level outrigger as fixed and others were varied for their locations. Thus, the structure has been analyzed considering it has been provided with two outriggers at a time, one at the top of structure (H) and the other at a specific level along the heights. Results of the analysis shows lower values for storey displacement, drift and base shear when the structure is considered with one outrigger at top (H) and other at 1/4th height (H/4) for all seismic zones (II, III, IV and V) and all soil conditions (soft, medium and hard). Thus, it is concluded that optimum position of outrigger lies at 1/4th height (H/4) along the height of structure and it goes well in agreement with the values found in literature.

This paper presents the results of calculations of areal trends of total evaporation ETa fl uxes for the growing periods of 2003-2017 in the territory of the Marksovsky district of the Saratov region. Raster layers formed for the territory with a 500 m resolution of the Eta8 (Eta 8-day averaging) for each year of the investigated time interval were obtained from tiles sets h20v03 of the product MOD16A2 for the period from May 25 to September 2 of the corresponding year. As a result, the 19830 time series of total evaporation fl uxes for the ETaw growing seasons of the 15-year study period were drawn up for the Marksovsky district. The obtained time series of geodata of the actual evapotranspiration for the growing season ETaw for each of the 15 studied years were used for the spatial analysis of ETaw trends. For the analysis, the method of nonparametric Mann-Kendal statistics was used. It revealed the presence of 2 half-periods with diametrically opposite trends in the dominant part of time series. The fi rst half-period found out negative values (downward) trends and falls on 2003-2010, the second half-period showed positive (upward) trends for 2010-2017. The presented results of the spatial distribution of both trends indicate the presence of an infl uence on ETaw both distance from the bank of R. Volga and anthropogenic factors. Hypotheses for additional analysis are proposed. For the visual deciphering of the places of abnormal values of trends velocities of the both half-periods there were used space photos of high resolution. As a result it was marked that the location of these anomalies corresponded to the location of pivot sprinklers in the territory of the Privolzhskoj irrigation system.

Abstract:

BackgroundScleroderma renal crisis (SRC) is a vascular complication of systemic sclerosis (SSc) with substantial risks for end-stage renal disease and death. Activating autoantibodies (Abs) targeting the angiotensin II type 1 (AT1R) and the endothelin-1 type A receptor (ETAR) are suggested to contribute to the vasculopathy in SSc (1, 2).ObjectivesHere, we sought to determine their pathogenic significance for acute renal vascular injury.MethodsIgG from patients with SRC was studied for AT1R and ETAR dependent biologic effects on isolated rat renal interlobar arteries and vascular cells including contraction, signaling, and mechanisms of receptor activation. A cohort of ten patients with refractory SRC received multimodal treatment including AT1R and ETAR inhibition and plasma exchange and was followed for improvement of kidney function.ResultsIn myography experiments, patient IgG exerted vasoconstriction (mean 6.5% of KCl induced contraction [95% confidence interval (95 CI) 5.0-8.1]) whereas control IgG did not (0.6% [95 CI 0.3-1.0]). The response was sensitive to inhibition of AT1R (3.0% [95% CI 1.4-4.7]) and ETAR (1.0% [95 CI 0.6-1.3]) and relied on MEK-ERK signaling. Contraction induced by angiotensin II and endothelin-1 was amplified by anti-AT1R and anti-ETAR Abs with substantial crosstalk between both receptors implicating autoimmune receptor hypersensitization. Co-immunoprecipitation experiments indicated heterodimerization between both receptor types enabling functional interrelation by structural interactions. 30% of patients with refractory SRC had improved kidney function after multimodal therapy.ConclusionWe provide experimental and clinical evidence that agonistic Abs may contribute to SRC. Novel therapies targeted at autoimmune hyperactivation of AT1R and ETAR might improve outcomes in severe cases of SRC.References[1]Riemekasten, G. et al. Usaha mikro, kecil, dan meMdium (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian indonesia. Namun, UMKM memiliki beberapa masalah, terutama dalam pencatatan laporan keuangan. Pemerintah telah memberlakukan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan Entitas Tanpa Akuntabilitas Publik (SAK ETAP) pada tahun 2009 sebagai pedoman standar dalam menyusun laporan keuangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh sosialisasi SAK ETAP, penjualan, latar belakang pendidikan pemilik, usia perusahaan, dan teknologi informasi terhadap penerapan SAK ETAP di UMKM.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pemilik UMKM di desa Suryodiningratan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah random sampling dan mengambil 32 sampel. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi berganda.Berdasarkan analisis, sebagian besar pemilik UMKM tidak tahu tentang SAK ETAP, jadi mereka tidak menerapkan SAK ETAP. Mereka baru saja mensosialisasikan SAK ETAP dan informasi teknologi terhadap implementasi SAK ETAP. Saran yang diajukan adalah para pemangku kepentingan memberikan sosialisasi SAK ETAP untuk UMKM. Kemudian, UMKM diharapkan menggunakan SAK ETAP untuk menyusun laporan keuangan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji penerapan SAK ETAP dalam penyajian laporan keuangan dan menganalisa kendala – kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan SAK ETAP pada UMKM Saleh Pisang di Desa Dalam Kecamatan Siulak. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakandata Primer. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwalaporan keuangan yang disusun oleh UMKM Saleh Pisang terdiri atas Catatan Kas, Catatan Hutang, Laporan Gaji Karyawan, Laporan Laba Rugi, dan Laporan aset. Hal ini masih belum sesuai dengan standar SAK ETAP. Di dalam SAK ETAP disebutkan bahwa laporan keuangan terdiri dari Neraca, Laporan Laba Rugi, Laporan Perubahan Ekuitas, Laporan Arus Kas, dan Catatan Atas Laporan Keuangan. Dalam pengakuan, pengukuran, penyajian laporan keuangan belum sepenuhnya menerapkan SAK ETAP dengan benar. Karena UMKM Saleh Pisang masih menggunakan metode pencatatan cash basis sedangkan menurut SAK ETAP harus menggunakan accrual basis.Kendala dari UMKM Saleh Pisang dalam menerapkan SAK ETAP dalam penyusunan laporan keuangannya adalah, (1. Rendahnya pemahaman pemilik maupun karyawan, terhadap SAK ETAP. 2. Kurangnya sosialisasi terkait Laporan Keuangan yang sesuai dengan SAK ETAP,(2. Belum adanya pendampingan yang intensif terkait penerapan SAK ETAP,(3. Tidak adanya pengawasan dari pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan terhadap laporan keuangan UMKM Saleh Pisang.

The use of Financial Accounting Standards Entity without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP) has been launched starting in 2011, although there is still relatively little research on the topic of understanding SAK ETAP. Research on the use of previous SAK ETAP is more inclined to case studies in a particular SME. Cooperatives must make a financial report annually as a form of accountability Board to member. The understanding of accounting employees about SAK ETAP is important because accounting employees are responsible for financial reporting. Therefore, this research needs to be done to know how far the understanding of the accounting section of SAK ETAP.This study aims to analyze the factors that effect on the understanding of the economic enterprise accountants of SAK ETAP. These factors include level of education, educational background, SAK ETAP training, and gender. This study used data obtained from the questionnaire where the respondents were a cooperative accounting officer located in the Pati District. Respondents amounted to 80 who became the sample of the study. The sampling method study was used convenience sampling. The data analysis tool used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that education level, educational background, and training of SAK ETAP influenced the understanding of SAK ETAP. The higher the level of education, the ability to understand the SAK ETAP is also high. Employees who have an accounting education background were easier to understand SAK ETAP than non accounting education. In addition, SAK ETAP training can also improve employees' ability to understand SAK ETAP. However, gender has no influence in determining the level of understanding of SAK ETAP.
