Thesis approaches the issue of ethics in the field of commercial communications and morality of campaigns. The goal of the thesis is to define basic criteria for ethics of campaigns and proof the reason for their application in praxis by case study example. In the first chapter is introduced theoretical background. In the second are defined three basic criteria, they are: criterion of fair goal, criterion of acceptable ways and criterion of easy identification. In the third chapter it is documented, on example of case study PaySec, how profitable it would be to apply these criteria in praxis.

This dissertation deals with the importance of communication for a leadership. Proper communication is an essential part of maintaining the company s market position. It is also necessary for communication within the company, mainly for setting a strategy and objectives, coordination of activities and teamwork. Managers participate in the creation of company s results by communicating with their subordinates. Improvement of managers communication skills leads to better relationships in the workplace, higher satisfaction and better work performance of employees, and thus better company s results. That is why manager s communication skills are really important. Theoretical part explains basic concepts and relations related to communication, management, and manager s duties and personality. Practical part conducted via questionnaire focuses on the analysis of selected levels of managers communication skills in the company. At the end of the dissertation, findings and recommendations for improvement in specific communication skills within the organization are formulated.

The goal of my final thesis is the analyses of current state of communications in the Health Service. The paper starts with the introduction which describes the reasons of writting the paper and the methods used. The paper consists of 9 capitols: 8 theoretical and 1 practical. In the first capitol is the analysis of the ethics in health care systems. The next capitol briefly describe the relationship between doctor and patient. The following 3 theoretically define communication. The next 3 capitols talk about specifics communication in the Health Service. The practical part of the paper has 1 capitol, which has 6 sub-capitols. These sub-capitols talk about questionnaire, fill in questionnaire, results of questionnairy and some recommendations. Based on these facts, there is also graphical demonstration and describe. In conclusion appreciate the reasulting of questionnairy and summarized the overall the finnal thesis.

The topic of the Master's Thesis "Ethical aspects of crisis company communication" is crisis communication. It is aimed at theoretical knowledge, analysis of ethical failure in the crisis communication and the measure suggestion for company management in crisis communication planning and managing. The Master's Thesis is focused on two examples from the floods in August 2002. The floods in the Prague underground and in the chemical plant Spolana Neratovice became the symbol of the summer situation. The analysis has detected the importance of the ethical aspects of crisis communication. The breach of these principles or conscious violation of them could have not only personal but also economic and legal consequences.

The thesis is focused on an issue of attainable beauty ideal and its possible negative consequences mainly on adolescent audience. It also deals with the possible ethical questions that are related to the beauty ideal with the young audience. This narrow part of the poulation was selected because of the the fact, that they are the at the biggest risk. The theoretical part describes the related experiments and also shows some examples of different approach to beauty in marketing communication. The practical part of the theses consists of two parts, questionnaire survey and an in-depth interview with the specialists in the psychology and marketing. The conclusion of the work indicates, that young people are aware of the relationship between the beauty ideal and the negative consequences, but, as the rest of the population, do not perceive this phenomenon as an ethical issue.

The thesis focuses on new marketing communication techniques. Their appearance is triggered mainly by technological progress and consumers' immunity to existing methods. Despite business ethics being part of commercial activities of majority of companies and business activities, not seldom do these upcoming and non-standard methods cross the boundaries of law and ethics. This business ethics has institutionalized itself into ethics codes. The thesis provides insight into the issue of the system of legal regulations of advertising in the Czech Republic. The regulation of ethics is executed by "Rada pro reklamu" as so-called self-regulation. The bodies of "RPR", its activity and also the "Code" and its practical application are detailed. The regulation of ethics concerning Public Relations is also involved. Trends are illustrated by many examples from real life.

Significant part is given to the study of current situation in Europe and Czech Republic. The practical part contains the analysis of recent self-regulation activities in the company Plzeňský Prazdroj. This part provides the results of the marketing research, which determinates the current state of self-regulation and activities of the company Plzeňský Prazdroj in consumer's eyes.

This dissertation Barrier-free Work Environment examines and emphasizes some elements, which are projected and will be projected even more into architectural production – architect’s work. Buildings designed specially to create a working environment accessible for disabled people are of a current interest and they will become a very prominent subject of social development in the future, because it will be necessary to react sensitively to the disproportions in human abilities and in the society’s capability to create new workplaces, implement progressive technologies, computer systems, and last but not least, to react to new possibilities of people’s creative invention. This thesis is based on the key definitions for this topic – the terms health and handicap. It is aimed at the ethics of communication in a society and its perception by a person with some kind of disability – handicap. This thesis also analyzes the limits of human possibilities in the context of contemporary and future progressive technologies. The topic of accessible workplaces necessarily derives from the historical development of workplaces, and it indicates the future trends of development. An important part of this thesis is concerned with the conditions for creating a friendly working environment, not only from the aspect of the construction itself, but mainly by the interior design, its flexible furniture, and special work tools not only for the handicapped. This dissertation and its contribution to the scholarly research are based on evaluation of an opinion survey, whose respondents were companies employing handicapped people. The analysis and consequent synthesis of the answers given by the employers of the disadvantaged people brought pieces of information, which are summarized in conclusions and recommendations.

Research of intercultural communication and management phenomena has been rising since 1950s. At that time the researchers acknowledged the importance of the role of culture in international relations. Purpose of this diploma thesis is to unhide culturally influenced perception and behavior of French in application to business. Basic characteristics of French culture were identified based on study of researches of recognized researchers in this field i.e. Geert Hofstede and Fons Trompenaars. Further characteristics of the culture were examined in the sample of 12 interviewees using quantitative research methods. They were willing to dedicate their time and share personal working experience in relation with French whether in France or in direct working relation in Czechia. Barriers of communication between both cultures were confirmed by the research as existing and therefor the study of cultural differences was justified. The results of the research are presented in form of recommendations for Czechs and sum up the established phenomena.

The diploma thesis focused on the issue of communication between the medical staff and the patient deals with attitudes, knowledge and ethical isssues of communication between the doctor and the patient. The target group is the medical staff of the hospital ward and also the specialized outpatient service. The theoretical part explains the importance of communication between medical staff and the patient in a particular health care system. It also explains why ethics is important in relation to communication. All theoretical knowledge is based on available literary sources. The practical part describes the preparation, implementation and results of the research. Individual steps are taken to identify the current situaton in the issue. It has been found that attitudes and knowledge in patient communication vary. Furthermore, it was found that current educational programs and teaching plans of selected schools meet the level of school curriculum, but the practical teaching of communication skills is neglected. The Diploma Thesis addresses Ethical aspects of care of children with autism spectrum disorders (communication with parents, grandparents, etc.). The research results revealed that parents usually noticed their children?s handicap during the first three years of the children?s life, when children started to show various problems associated with the autism spectrum disorders. Parents agreed that, at the time, the most difficult thing was to cope with the handicap of their children and the symptoms of such handicap. Most parents also stated that it was very difficult to cope with the information about the diagnosis; this process took them a long time. According to parents, the following would be most helpful: information from specialists, contact with parents of children with similar handicaps, support, help of others in their environment, hope, contact to an organization that could help them/give them practical advice and instructions with regard to communication with children and their development. Parents of children with the handicap find contact with parents of children with similar handicaps very important. The following problems associated with the autism spectrum disorders are viewed as the most significant by parents: problems with communication, inability of socialization, stereotype behavior, hyperactivity, possible self-harm, mood changes, but also impenetrability of the world of children with autism spectrum disorders. According to some parents, the diagnostics of their children was not in order. Their children?s autism was not recognized by physicians and parents had to arrange a specialized diagnostic examination on their own. In case of some children, autism spectrum disorders were recognized by a general practitioner for children and youth, who recommended a visit to a child psychiatrist, where diagnostics took place. In these cases, parents were not given any opportunity to give questions to physicians and, moreover, they did not receive much information about the handicap of their children. Parents had to look for important information on the internet or in specialized literature. Furthermore, autism spectrum disorders were not sufficiently explained by physicians to some parents. Parents received information about the consequences of this type of handicap from a special pedagogue, psychologist, or worker of an organization that provides social services to children with autism spectrum disorders and their parents. Moreover, some parents were not given any contact to organizations providing care or consulting to children with this type of handicap. Most parents view the approach of physicians to their children as negative. Children with autism spectrum disorders most frequently visit a child psychiatrist; some children also see a child neurologist. According to parents, physicians only communicate with them and do not focus on their children at all. However, only one half of parents informed their physicians about the way they can communicate with their children. Parents usually prepare for the doctor?s appointment using photographs and pictures that illustrate the visit or its individual steps. A hospitalization of children with the autism spectrum disorder usually took place with their mothers, who rate it as standard, with no problems to address during such hospitalization. Health professionals mostly communicated with mothers and tried to respect the child?s habits.

The specialty of Intensive Care deals with acute conditions from all medical branches within the entire age spectrum of adults. This field has its own distinctive characteristics, which determine the character of not only medical personnel communication with families of hospitalized patients, but the overall quality of nurses' cooperation with relatives. In Czech professional literature in the area of intensive care there is minimum publications on this issue up to date. The task of the current thesis is to map a view of paramedical staff (nurses) on the process of communication and cooperation with family members of patients hospitalized in the intensive care units. The empirical part of the research is processed as a qualitative research by the method of semistructured interviews with nurses from the Intensive Care workplaces. As the result of this work we found inadequate professional readiness of nurses in the fields of communication strategy and approach to the families of patients hospitalized in the intensive care environment. The weak point in this area from the nurse's position is also minimum of information sources that would allow families of hospitalized patients to understand the environment of intensive care and resuscitation better. The aim of this study is to describe the corporate volunteerism in the Czech Republic and subsequently define a structured set of ethical principles that should be complied by companies to enhance the ethical standards of corporate volunteerism and its positive impact. The theoretical part introduces the civic and corporate volunteerism, pointing out their legal and content differences and also the environmental non-profit organizations and economic subjects companies. Corporate volunteerism (CV) is defined as a part of the donation, which is a social component of corporate social responsibility (CSR). This study describes CSR as a tool of business ethics and assesses its impact on corporate culture and social work environment in favour of solidarity projects as CV. Based on the experience and study of scientific texts, four models reflecting the company's ethical maturity phase are defined in the practical part of the study. Their names are derived from the context and causes of the launch of CV - models naturally moral, promotional, human resources and employee model. The analysis of models aimed at meeting the objectives of the work, compiling seven ethical principles for CV - principles of real potential, plan and impact, quantity and quality of the target, the benefits of a coordinator´s position, equal access, freedom to make decisions and the principle of truthful communication. The principles are not procedures, however, the principles ask questions and concentrate ethical basis for project of CV. This text is accompanied by an evaluation comment using practical examples (from the institutional, social and individual ethical perspective).

The thesis describes and summarizes basic information about the possibilities and risks of using digital technologies and robotics within social work. Towards the end it also includes opinions of several professional and political authorities who are active in this topic. This thesis aims to trigger the debate over the possible threats connected to dehumanization of social work and the use of digital technologies and robotics, respectively make it more intensive.
