Abstract:
Pseudo-first-order rate constants (kobsd) were measured for nucleophilic substitution reactions of O-Y-substituted-phenyl O-phenyl thionocarbonates (4a–4h) with alkali metal ethoxides (EtOM, M = Li, Na, or K) in anhydrous ethanol at 25.0 ± 0.1 °C. Plots of kobsd vs. [EtOM] exhibited upward curvature for the reaction of O-4-nitrophenyl O-phenyl thionocarbonate (4a) with EtOK in the presence of 18-crown-6-ether (18C6), but showed downward curvature for the reaction with EtOLi, indicating that the reaction is catalyzed by the 18C6-crowned K+ ion, but is inhibited by Li+ ion. The kobsd values were dissected into kEtO− and kEtOM, the second-order rate constant for the reaction with dissociated EtO− and ion-paired EtOM, respectively. The reactivity of EtOM toward 4a increases in the order EtOLi < EtONa < EtO− < EtOK < EtOK/18C6, which is in contrast to that reported previously for the corresponding reaction of 4-nitrophenyl phenyl carbonate (a C=O analogue of 4a), e.g., EtO− ≈ EtOK/18C6 < EtOLi < EtONa < EtOK. The reaction mechanism, including the transition-state model and the origin of the contrasting reactivity patterns found for the reactions of the C=O and C=S compounds, are discussed.

Abstract:
Deste trabalho se objetivou estimar, através de uma fórmula empírica, a evapotranspiração de referência diária no município de Campina Grande, PB (EToT), utilizando-se a amplitude térmica diária. Estimou-se, também, a ETo diária usando-se os métodos de FAO-Penman-Monteith (EToPM), Hargreaves (EToH) e Linacre (EToL), sendo depois correlacionados com a EToT proposta na pesquisa, por estação do ano; para isto foram coletados valores diários das temperaturas, umidade relativa do ar, radiação solar, precipitação, pressão atmosférica e velocidade do vento a 2 m da Estação Meteorológica Automática, instalada na Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG), no período de 1 de janeiro a 31 de dezembro de 2004. Tais valores foram registrados no intervalo de 10 min. Verificou-se que as correlações da EToT com EToH, obtiveram o melhor ajuste, cujos coeficientes foram: R² = 0,7882 (no ano), R² = 0,9796 (no verão), R² = 0,8253 (no outono), R² = 0,878 (no inverno) e R² = 0,914 (na primavera). Conclui-se que os métodos de EToPM e EToL não se ajustaram bem para Campina Grande, PB, o que evidencia que a EToT poderá ser utilizada na forma proposta para estimativa da ETo desta localidade. Das equações propostas, a única restrição é o EToT para o verão caso em que se recomenda o uso da equação anual.

Abstract:
The article considers the problems of the Russian telecommunications market, substantiates the need for standardization of the eTOM model for OSS/BSS systems. There is a necessity to regulate the eTOM model (Enhanced Telecom Operations Map) by domestic regulatory documents in the domestic market. It will allow creating holistic and high-quality operations of end-to-end processes, providing a basis for understanding and managing IT application portfolios in terms of requirements for business processes. The authors conclude that the regulation of the eTOM model could solve the problems of the OSS/BSS solutions of the Russian market.

Improvement of Business-Activities in Telecommunication Enterprises by the eTOM Business-Process Structural Model Implementation For now, in front of telecommunication branch enterprises of Ukraine, there is a problem of activity improvement with the purpose of granting high-quality services and maintenance of competitive position, both on internal, and on a foreign market. To solve this problem, telecommunication companies appropriate to use the mechanisms of business-oriented process management and improvement of end-to-end business-processes. The purpose of this article is a choice of effective business-process model that will allow telecommunications companies to provide modern, high quality and cost competitive services. During research, conditions of the telecommunication branch enterprises of Ukraine were investigated and key problems of their activity were revealed. Existing business-process models have been considered and analyzed and the optimal model was chosen, according to the put criteria. By results of the analysis a conclusion was drawn, that to the enterprises for business-process modeling is expedient for using eTOM - high-level system business-oriented model aimed for providing of any technological services, including IT. As advantages from introduction eTOM at the Ukrainian enterprises were analyzed.

Egzystencjalna Teoria Umysłu (EToM) jest postulowanym przez J. Beringa mechanizmem postrzegania wydarzeń życia codziennego jako rezultat działalności istot nadprzyrodzonych.Wykazano, iż skłonność do dostrzegania w nich intencjonalności koreluje ze wyższymi wynikami na skali współczynnika empatii (EQ). W pracy przedstawiono tworzenie kwestionariusza mającego służyć do pomiaru funkcjonowania EToM, w populacji osób zdrowych. W skład próby weszło 189 studentów (41 mężczyzn, średnia wieku 22 lata). W celu weryfikacji trafności teoretycznej skorelowano wyniki kwestionariusza PETU z wynikami kwestionariusza Ilorazu Empatii (EQ-40), subtelną skalą paranoi (Pa-S) z testu MMPI i wynikiem uzyskanym w pomiarze myślenia analitycznego. Uzyskano słaby istotny statystycznie dodatni związek wyników PETU z wynikami EQ-40 (rho = 0,25, p < 0,05), zgodnie z założeniami teoretycznymi. Analiza czynnikowa kwestionariusza wykazała istnienie jednego czynnika (α = 0,78).

Abstract:
The primary causal explanatory model for interpreting behavior, theory of mind, may have expanded into corridors of human cognition that have little to do with the context in which it evolved, questioning the suitability of domain-specific accounts of mind reading. Namely, philosophical–religious reasoning is a uniquely derived explanatory system anchored in intentionality that does not clearly involve behavior. The presence of an existential theory of mind (EToM) suggests that individuals perceive some nondescript or culturally elaborated (e.g., God) psychological agency as having encoded communicative intentions in the form of life events, similar to a person encoding communicative intentions in deictic gestures. The emergence of EToM is discussed from ontogenetic and phylogenetic perspectives; autism is examined to determine whether alternate core explanatory models (e.g., folk physics) are used by those with deficits in theory of mind to derive existential meaning.

Abstract The choice of consistent alternative methods is essential for the improvement of reference evapotranspiration (ETo) estimation for different climatic regions. Due to a critical gap in knowledge concerning the most adequate alternative ETo methods for the climatic conditions in Paraná, Brazil, this study aimed to test and to evaluate the main estimation alternative methods (Thornthwaite - EToTH; Camargo - EToC; Hargreaves and Samani - EToHS; Linacre - EToL; and, Budyko - EToB) for the subtropical (Cfb) and semi-arid (Bsh) climate types in Brazil. We compared our results with standard EToPM (Penman-Monteith) estimated between 1970 and 2015, using the minimum and maximum air temperature (T), sunshine hours (n), relative humidity (RH) and wind speed (U2). Least square regression analysis of ETo estimated by alternative methods vs EToPM were used to calibrate the methods for each analyzed climate type. The performance of calibrated and noncalibrated methods was evaluated by index of agreement “d” and performance “c”, root mean square error (RMSE) and mean error (ME). Our results showed the importance of calibration process of alternative methods for the improvement of ETo estimations in Brazil. The Hargreaves and Samani and Linacre calibrated methods showed better performance in the subtropical and semi-arid climates, respectively. Also, the Linacre and Budyko calibrated methods were particularly robust in subtropical and semi-arid climates, outlining the importance of continuous measurements of T used in the EToL and EToB modeling effort. The results presented here showed the importance to calibrate the alternative methods on ETo estimations and outlined the need for improvement and proposition of new ETo methods based on a limited number of climatic variables commonly available in subtropical and semi-arid climates in Brazil.

Abstract:
This article presents an analysis of the main reference models of Product Development Process (PDP) and specificities of the telecommunications industry. The research instruments used to collect the data was semi-structured interviews, direct observation and document analysis in two companies, in order to map and analyze their PDP. It was noticed that there was similarity of the steps of the Case Studies PDP with the reference models, especially the model of [4]. The main differences were the feasibility analysis, the assessment by the customer of the preliminary product concepts, and the emphasis on commercial and operational development. It was also noted that the PDP of the companies had no strong influence of practices and business processes. Their PDP were more involved in the ​​strategy area, infrastructure and with the product of eTOM framework.

Los resultados obtenidos al usar el CTP (Costo Total de Propiedad) como herramienta financiera para la toma de decisiones en proyectos de tecnología dio como resultado un claro beneficio económico al optar por la computación en la nube.</p>

X-ray polycrystalline diffraction was used to track progress toward improving the structural properties of SrS:(Eu,Sm) thin films. These thin films are used as the active layer of the ETOM (Electron Trapping Optical Memory) media. In this study conventional x-ray diffraction and x-ray reflectivity were used to evaluate the effect of two deposition parameters on film structures. Line broadening analysis performed using the Warren-Averbach technique showed the beneficial effects of a hydrogen sulfide reactive atmosphere and the RF magnetron sputtering technique on crystallite size and microstrain. A factor of five improvement in crystallite size and a factor of two reduction in microstrain was observed. Film thickness, density, and interfacial and surface roughnesses were determined for two SrS thin films. The sin2Ψ technique was used to determine the in-plane biaxial stress for two films prepared by different deposition techniques. These films exhibit inhomogeneous stress states with an average stress of less than IMPa.

AbstractIntroduction:Although there is a general agreement that rapid sequence intubation (RSI) is thepreferred technique for intubation in aeromedical care, several pharamacological regimens have been employed without clear evidence of which is superior.Hypothesis:This study was designed to compare the use of etomidate (ETOM) with that of thiopental (THIO)as an adjunctive agent used with succinylcholine (SCh) for rapid sequence intubation in an urban, aeromedicalsystem.Methods:This was a retrospective, before-and-after study utilizing computer-assisted chart review. Adultpatients who received thiopental for rapid sequence intubation over a two-year period were compared to adult patients who received etomidate for rapid sequence intubation over a similar period, after a change in protocol, which mandated etomidate rather than thiopental for all intubations.Results:No difference was found in any of the primary endpoints. Stabilization time (13.1 vs. 12.9 minutes), number of intubation attempts (1.1 vs. 1.2), successful first intubation attempts (90% vs. 82%), overallsuccessful intubations (100% vs. 96%), and intubation time (18.4 vs. 21.7 seconds) were similar for all comparisons of thiopental vs. etomidate (all p >0.05).Conclusion:This study found no clinically relevant differences between the use of etomidate or thiopental as adjuncts with succinylcholine for rapid sequence intubation in the aeromedical setting.

Abstract:
The integration of Remote Sensing and ground data into hydrological and cropwater requirement models enables water resources managers to adequately quantify the availability of water for irrigation in space and time. The SEBS algorithm was used to derive actual evapotranspiration estimates using MODIS images to assess cropwater requirements in the Ruti irrigation scheme after validation with ground based evapotranspiration measurements. Results show that actual evapotranspiration computed using SEBS (EToS) were comparable to those obtained using Penman Monteith method (R2=0.96). The Kendall’s tau test showed that there is significant statistical association (α = 0.05) between Pan Coefficient (Kp) values determined using EToS and EToPM and Kp values from the Snyder equation. In conclusion, the study highlights the potential use of GIS and remote sensed data for catchment management, planning and irrigation scheduling at irrigation scheme level. Welch’s t test showed that there is no evidence to reject Ho: Kp determined from EToPM – Kp from EToS = 0. The above is crucial in the evaluation and comparison of performance of different irrigation systems in the country for food security and improvement of livelihoods in the light of integrated water resources management.

Abstract The objective of this study was to verify the magnitude and trend of hourly reference evapotranspiration (EToh), as well as associate and analyze daily ETo (ETod) series and the sum of hourly ETo (ETo24h) in 24 h, estimated with the Penman-Monteith ASCE model for Paraná State (Cfa and Cfb climate type). Relative humidity (RH), temperature (T), solar radiation (Rs) and wind speed (u2) data were obtained from 25 meteorological stations from the National Meteorological Institute (INMET), between December 1, 2016 to November 8, 2018. The analyzes were performed by linear regression and associations considering the root mean square error, correlation coefficient and index of agreement. The EToh trend has a Gaussian distribution, with the highest values between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., with the maximum average being 0.44 mm h−1 (Cfa climate type) and 0.35 mm h−1 (Cfb climate type). The average difference between the ETo24h and ETod values was small (5.1% for Cfa and 7.4% for Cfb), resulting in close linear associations. The results obtained indicate that EToh has good potential to be used in planning and management in the field of soil and water engineering, in Paraná State.

Previously, we identified Arabidopsis thaliana mutant rhd1-4 as hypersusceptible to the sugar beet cyst nematode Heterodera schachtii. We assessed rhd1-4 as well as two other rhd1 alleles and found that each exhibited, in addition to H. schachtii hypersusceptibility, decreased root length, increased root hair length and density, and deformation of the root epidermal cells compared with wild-type A. thaliana ecotype Columbia (Col-0). Treatment of rhd1-4 and Col-0 with the ethylene inhibitors 2-aminoeth-oxyvinylglycine and silver nitrate and the ethylene precursor 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid suggests that the rhd1-4 hypersusceptibility and root morphology phenotypes are the result of an increased ethylene response. Assessment of known ethylene mutants further support the finding that ethylene plays a role in mediating A. thaliana susceptibility to H. schachtii because mutants that overproduce ethylene (eto1-1, eto2, and eto3) are hypersusceptible to H. schachtii and mutants that are ethylene-insensitive (etr1-1, ein2-1, ein3-1, eir1-1, and axr2) are less susceptible to H. schachtii. Because the ethylene mutants tested show altered susceptibility and altered root hair density and length, a discrimination between the effects of altered ethylene signal transduction and root hair density on susceptibility was accomplished by analyzing the ttg and gl2 mutants, which produce ectopic root hairs that result in greatly increased root hair densities while maintaining normal ethylene signal transduction. The observed normal susceptibilities to H. schachtii of ttg and gl2 indicate that increased root hair density, per se, does not cause hypersusceptibility. Furthermore, the results of nematode attraction assays suggest that the hypersusceptibility of rhd1-4 and the ethylene-overproducing mutant eto3 may be the result of increased attraction of H. schachtii-infective juveniles to root exudates of these plants. Our findings indicate that rhd1 is altered in its ethylene response and that ethylene signal transduction positively influences plant susceptibility to cyst nematodes.

With the development of a market economy, there are problems of balancing the interests of all participants in production, consumers, and society as a whole. This arouses interest in the concept of socially responsible marketing, which allows companies to focus on sustainable development and social values in solving business problems. The purpose of the article is to study the implementation of the concept of socially responsible marketing by business entities. The article considers the main aspects of the concept of socially responsible marketing, its importance for businesses. Related areas of research related to socially responsible marketing are identified based on bibliometric analysis of articles published in the Scopus database from 2010 to 2019 using VOSviewer software. It was found that the largest number of publications on the subject is available in the United States, Great Britain, Spain, and Australia. The basic principles of socially responsible marketing are grouped and its characteristic features are singled out. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of its basic tools. The tools of socially responsible marketing are broader than classical marketing and include marketing; consumer research; study of social and environmental consequences of production; consumption of manufactured goods and services. The authors noted that with traditional analytical methods in implementing the concept of socially responsible marketing, given the strategic direction of modern marketing, it is necessary to use multidimensional methods of analysis: SPACE-analysis, PEST-analysis, ETOM-analysis, QUEST-analysis, SNW-analysis, SWOT analysis, KPI analysis. The key features of the introduction of socially responsible marketing at the enterprises of Ukraine are analyzed. The paper substantiates that socially responsible marketing is a concept of marketing management, according to which the company's goal is to determine its own needs, needs and interests of target markets and meet them more effectively than competitors, ways to maintain or improve the welfare of both consumers and society in general. Abstract:
V rabote govoritsja o sud'be sub''ekta i ob''ekta pri nominalizacii predikata v sovremennom serbskom literaturnom jazyke. Kogda v predlozenii skazuemoe zamenjaetsja otglagol'nym suscestvitel'nym, svedenija o sub''ekte i ob''ekte predlozenija s glagol'nym predikatom mogut sohranit'sja, no pri etom oni vyrazajutsja sintaksemami, kotorye naprjamuju zavisjat uze ne ot glagola, a ot suscestvitel'nogo. Casce vsego na sub''ekt i ob''ekt ukazyvaet forma roditel'nogo padeza s posessivnym znaceniem i pritjazatel'noe prilagatel'noe. Obe dannye formy ispol'zujutsja i dlja vyrazenija znacenija sub''ekta pri nominalizacii neperehodnyh glagolov. Pri nominalizacii vyskazyvanij s perehodnym glagolom, kogda neobhodimo eksplicitno vyrazit' i sub''ektnoe, i ob''ektnoe znacenie, dannye dve edinicy raspredeljajutsja po sledujuscemu principu: na sub''ekt ukazyvaetsja pritjazatel'nym prilagatel'nym (ili mestoimeniem), a na ob''ektformoj roditel'nogo padeza s posessivnym znaceniem. Posessivnyj roditel'nyj padez licnyh mestoimenij ne ispol'zuetsja. Esli ze v nominalizirovannom vyskazyvanii odin iz etih elementov ne vyrazen, togda dannoe pravilo ne dejstvuet. Analiz pokazal, cto obe sintaksiceskie edinicy upotrebljajutsja dlja ukazanija na sub''ektnoe i ob''ektnoe znacenie. Suscestvujut razlicnye faktory, kotorye vlijajut na vybor dannyh sredstv. Pojavlenie formy roditel'nogo padeza pri nalicii otglagol'nogo suscestvitel'nogo ne daet svedenij o tom, vyrazaet li ob''ekt dejstvija cast' celogo ili celoe. Analiz takze pokazal, cto v processe nominalizacii ispol'zuetsja i glagol'noe dekomponirovanie. Pri nalicii otglagol'nyh suscestvitel'nyh togda mozet byt' drugoe resenie dlja ukazanija na ob''ektnoe znacenie. V rabote podtverzdaetsja mnenie, cto formy roditel'nogo padeza dlja ukazanija i na sub''ekt, i na ob''ekt dejstvija ne vsegda stojat posle otglagol'nyh suscestvitel'nyh. Odnako pokazatel'no, cto sub''ekt dejstvija, kogda on odnovremenno javljaetsja i prjamym agensom, vyrazaetsja konstrukciej od (strane) + roditel'nyj padez, kotoraja v sovremennom serbskom jazyke ispol'zuetsja dlja vyrazenija agensa passivnyh predlozenij so stradatel'nym pricastiem. Dannaja konstrukcija upotrebljaetsja i v teh slucajah, kogda dve drugie mogut vypolnit' ukazannuju funkciju, no inogda ona javljaetsja edinstvennym vozmoznym sredstvom dlja vyrazenija dannoj funkcii. Konstrukcija vsegda stoit sprava ot otglagol'nogo suscestvitel'nogo.

Abstract:
Introduction. It is determined that strategic changes are the reaction of the enterprise to the environmental fac-tors influence. In order to predict and plan the strategic changes implementation, it is necessary to identify the struc-ture of environmental factors. The purpose of the article. The article is devoted to the justification of factors groups of the external indirect environment influence on the enterprises functioning of agricultural engineering. Results. Methods of environmental analysis (PESTLE, T.E.M.P.L.E.S, STEEPLE, SWOT, ETOM, EFAS, QUEST) are generalized. The uniqueness of these methods was determined by the similarity of factors groups and methods of expert evaluation using the point scale and the specific gravity of the coefficients. The generalization of fac-tors groups that are singled out by the researchers is presented. It is determined that the most common are political and economic. It is proved that a group of socio-political factors should be shaped by: the level of political stability, national security priorities, the level of corruption and the activity of public organizations. The definition of the term «institute» is given, and the external environment can be represented as institutional, which has necessitated the separation of institutional and legal factors, the group of which includes protectionist policy, legislation, level of democracy, taxes and tariffs, industrial infrastructure and investment climate. The largest group of economic factors are: inflation rate, price dynamics, unemployment, exchange rate, credit and financial mechanism, level of specialization, cooperation and concentration, as well as the stage of the economic cycle. Considering the peculiarity of machine-building enterprises competitiveness, the scientific and technological factors are highlighted that combine the life cycle of technology, the introduction of new products, innovative and energy-saving technologies, the level of global progress as a whole. The groups of socio-demographic and international factors are less influential. Conclusions The conducted structuring of the enterprises external environment of the studied industry allows to analyze their impact on the basis of expert evaluation. The obtained results allow to substantiate the methods of stra-tegic change management at the enterprise. Key words: external environment, factors, agricultural engineering, institute, structure.

Kinetic studies have been performed on the base-promoted 1,2-elmination reactions of a series of β-phenylmercaptoethyl phenolates with potassium ethoxide in EtOH–DMSO media, yielding phenyl vinyl sulfide. The E2 mechanism was indicated by the absence of H/D exchange in the substrate when the reaction in EtOD–DMSO-d6 containing EtO− was carried to partial completion. The Brønsted coefficient values (βLG, effect of nucleofugality on reaction rate) of ca• 0.30 and ca• 0.98 were estimated for the reaction in pure DMSO and ethanol, respectively. Comparison of the results with reported reactions of substrates of similar structure revealed the important role of the phenyl group on sulfur, the leaving-group nucleofugality, and the medium basicity, in controlling the reaction pathways (elimination versus substitution).
