This study examines three novels, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Ivan Klima's Love and Garbage, and Nina FitzPatrick's The Loves of Faustyna, and their relation to the creation, and the propagation, of the discourse which surrounds Eastern Europe throughout the Cold War.
