The Russian pre-revolutionary book features many various provenance marks including marks of ownership. Such marks indicate that a particular item belongs to a particular owner. They can have forms of supralibros (or super ex-libris), ex-libris (or bookplates), book stamps, signatures and inscriptions. The study deals with the history of pharmaceutical exlibris bookplates within the territory of the present-day Czech Republic.Since the end of the 19th century 1332 ex-libris bookplates of pharmacists were identified to this day.
