VISUALIZATION OF LISSAJOUS WAVE CHARACTER IN OSCILLOSCOPE USING SPREADSHEET MICROSOFT EXCEL IN PHYSICS LEARNING AbstractThis study examines the visualization of the creation and operation of lissajous waves on the oscilloscope screen using a spreadsheet on Microsoft Excel 2013. The purpose of this research is to produce a visualization and how to operate lissajous waves using Microsoft Excel. The subject of this research is a spreadsheet program on Microsoft Excel software. Research location in the Yogyakarta State University Postgraduate Program building. The results of the study are expected to produce a visualization of how and how to operate a lissajous wave using Microsoft Excel. The data used uses fixed amplitude, frequency ratio 1:1 (a=1, b=1) with different phases at special angles ie 0o, 30o, 60o dan 90o. As well as other data with different frequency comparisons but using fixed amlitudes and phase differences of 90o. Comparison of frequency, amplitude and phase difference has the main role in forming lissajous wave patterns. It can be concluded that the speadsheets program on Microsoft Excel 2013 can be used to create simulations and describe lissajous wave patterns on oscilloscope screens in physics learning. Through simulation of lissajous wave patterns using spreadsheets on Microsoft Excel can make it easier for students and teachers to understand the lissajous curve on the oscilloscope screen. AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji tentang visualisasi pembuatan dan pengoperasian gelombang lissajous pada layar osiloskop menggunakan spreadsheet pada microsoft excel 2013. Tujuan penelitian menghasilkan visualisasi dan cara pegoperasian gelombang lissajous menggunakan microsoft excel. Subjek penelitian ini adalah program spreadsheet pada software microsoft exel. Lokasi penelitian di gedung Program Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menghasilkan visualisasi pembuatan dan cara pegoperasian gelombang lissajous menggunakan microsoft excel. Data yang digunakan menggunakan amplitudo tetap, perbandingan frekuensi 1:1 (a=1, b=1) dengan beda fase pada sudut istimewa yaitu 0o, 30o, 60o dan 90o. Serta data lain dengan perbandingan frekuensi yang berbeda namun menggunakan amlitudo tetap dan beda fase sebesar 90o. Perbandingan frekuensi, amplitudo dan beda fase memiliki peran utama dalam pembentukkan pola gelombang lissajous. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa program speadsheets pada miscrosoft excel 2013 dapat digunakan untuk membuat simulasi dan menggambarkan pola gelombang lissajous pada layar osiloskop dalam pembelajaran fisika. Melalui simulasi pola gelombang lissajous menggunakan spreadsheets pada microsoft excel dapat memudahkan siswa maupun guru dalam memahami kurva lissajous pada layar osiloskop.

Perangkat Desa Karangmangu Kecamatan Tarub Kabupaten Tegal rata-rata masih belum bisa mengoperasikan microsoft word dan excel, sehingga layanan kepada masyarakat waktunya menjadi lama dan kurang efektif. Padahal beberapa unit komputer telah tersedia, namun minimnya perangkat desa yang bisa mengoperasikan microsoft word dan excel, komputer tersebut tidak digunakan maksimal. Perlunya pelatihan Microsoft Word dan Microsoft Excel 2013 untuk meningkatkan kualitas SDM perangkat Desa Karangmangu Kecamatan Tarub Kabupaten Tegal. Metode pengumpulan data adalah wawancara dan survey. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukan bahwa pelatihan microsoft word dan excel 2013 mampu meningkatkan skill perangkat Desa Karangmangu Kecamatan Tarub Kabupaten Tegal dalam mengoperasikan microsoft word dan excel 2013. Hal ini dapat membantu kelancaran pekerjaan sehari-hari dan meningkatkan pelayanan administrasi Desa Karangmangu.

Disamping membahas materi micrisoft excel secara umum, pelatihan ini juga akan di sesuaikan dengan tugas rutin guru-guru di sekolah, sehingga diharapkan pengetahuan yang didapat akan menambah semangat dalam menulis dan meningkatkan kinerja guru-guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan rutinitasnya. Penulis berharap dengan adanya pelatihan ini, akan membantu pihak sekolah SLB Pambudi Dharma dalam pemanfaatan teknologi komputer yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan profesionalisme para guru-guru itu sendiri. Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk memetakan distribusi petir untuk wilayah Manado berdasarkan data petir tahun 2013 dan 2014. Data real time sambaran petir dari rekaman lightning detector diolah menggunakan beberapa program, yaitu Lightning 2000, Golden Software Surfer 8, Lightning Data Processing, GIS 10.3, Google Earth dan Microsoft Excel. Pada program GIS 10.3 data yang didapatkan kemudian dipetakan menggunakan metode Kriging. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa peta kontur distribusi petir di wilayah Kota Manado. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengolahan data, diperoleh data yang menunjukkan bahwa kejadian petir tertinggi terdapat pada bulan Oktober 2013 yaitu sebanyak 6.540 kejadian dan bulan Mei 2014 yaitu sebanyak 7.330 kejadian petir. Distribusi petir CG+ tertinggi terdapat pada kecamatan Wenang dan tidak ada kejadian petir CG+ di 4 kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Tikala, Paal Dua, Singkil dan TumintingResearch has been done to make a distribution map for Manado area based on lightning data of year 2013 and 2014. The real time data of lightning strikes from lightning detector processed by using a few program that is Lightning 2000, Golden Software Surfer 8, Lightning Data Processing, GIS 10.3, Google Earth and Microsoft Excel. Data that we got from GIS 10.3 use for mapping with Kriging method. Output from this research is contour map in Manado city area. Based on output from processed data, we got data that the highest lightning event happened in October 2013 that is 6.540 event and in May 2014 that is 7.330 lightning event. Highest CG+ lightning distribution located in Wenang Districts and there is no CG+ lightning event in 4 districts which is Tikala, Paal Dua, Singkil and Tuminting Districts

IntroductionColorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most prevalent cancers among Iranian people. The study of spatio-temporal distribution of disease has an important role in the design of disease prevention programmes. The purpose of the current study was to describe the spatio-temporal distribution of CRC in the Iranian military community as a sample of the Iranian population.MethodsIn the current ecological study, all registered cancer cases in the Iranian military community during the period 2007–2016 were considered. To identify hotspots, Getis-Ord Gi statistics were used. All analyses were performed using ArcGIS 10.5 and Excel 2010.ResultsThe highest incidences of CRC in 2007–2008, 2009–2010 and 2011–2012 were recorded in Kermanshah province. The highest incidences of CRC in 2013–2014 were seen in Kermanshah, Ghilan, Tehran and North Khorasan. In 2007–2008 and 2009–2010, hotspots were detected in West Azarbayjan. In 2011–2012, hotspots were detected in Zanjan and Qazvin. In 2013–2014, a hotspot was detected in Qazvin. Finally, West Azerbaijan was the hotspot for CRC in 2015–2016.ConclusionsThe incidence of CRC in men was higher than in women. Also it appeared that North and North West Iran were risk areas for this disease, and so these areas should be considered in the design of disease prevention programme for this cancer type. Additionally, the determination of individual risk factors in the aforementioned geographical areas can play an important role in the prevention of this type of cancer.

While the tobacco and cigarettes spend is increasing these opportunity cost will be increasing too. Objective: To describe the tobacco and cigarettes spends in Cuba since 2013 to 2016. Materials and methods: Was made a descriptive and longitudinal research about the tobacco and cigarettes spends in Cuba from 2013 to 2016. Were utilized two rates: monthly per capita sales on cigarettes and tobaccos measured in pesos and monthly per capita sales on cigarettes and tobaccos respect to middle salary measured in percent. Theoric methods: Historic – Logic, Inductive – Deductive, Comparative and Analysis and Synthesis. Empiric methods: documental and bibliographic research and arithmetic calculus. All the statistic processing was in Microsoft Excel 2007. Results: The personal spend on cigarettes and tobaccos from 2013 to 2016 shows a stable and defined structure. Conclusions: Havana, Santiago de Cuba provinces and the Special Municipality Isla de la Juventud were the Cuban regions showed consumption rate higher than the national middle.

On this purpose has been created Solver and AMPL projects.There has been described algorithms of the project realization also all the problems has been discussed which came creating these projects. Y así pudimos obtener un programa contable en hoja de cálculo, el mismo que pusimos en práctica en una empresa real y en un periodo determinado, obteniendo satisfactorios resultados (estados e indicadores financieros 100% automatizados).

Abstract:
The work is devoted to modeling of company’s financial flows using XML. Company’s financial flows have been described and their classification has been presented in the introduction. The problem of compatibility of data exchange formats has been raised. The aim of the work has been stated, as well as the problems to be solved. The XML review has been presented in Chapter 2. The main XML system components have been described. Such notions as XML data files, XML schemas, XML transformations have been explained. The structure of an XML file has been analyzed and the rules of a “well - formed” XML have been formulated. Chapter 3 deals with the possibilities of XML application in Excel 2003. One of the main notion of XML – the map notion - has been introduced. The relationship between XML maps, schemas and data files has been established. The task pane XML Source has been considered in detail. Chapter 4 deals with the problems of XML data import and export using Access 2003. The practical part of the work has been described in Chapters 5 and 6. The examples of XML maps creating in Excel 2003 has been presented in Chapter 5, as well as the procedures of XML data importing into Excel 2003 sheets. The solution of the problem of exporting of an Access 2003 table into Excel 2003 using XML is given in Chapter 6.

Abstract The paper aims to estimate the tCO2e from flare stack sites in the Eastern zone of Nigeria and review air monitoring done at the flare sites with the objective of establishing a model for gas tCO2e emission and gaseous pollutants. It focuses on the South-Eastern region of Nigeria where oil and gas production are being carried out (Imo and Abia states). It zero-in on the hydrocarbon processing and handling facilities (flowstation) and the gas flared volumes. The study was carried out using representative data from an onshore flowstation in Eastern Nigeria. The data consist of gas flared volumes from year 2013-2017 and ambient gaseous emission from air quality report done on the same location. Univariate regression and correlation using Excel were carried out on yearly average ambient air quality parameters (VOC, NOx, CO, SOx, CH4, SPM, NH3, H2S) to check the statistical significance of each parameter as an independent variable and calculated tCO2e as the dependent variable. Excel Muti-variate linear regression method was then used to generate a predictive model for tCO2e and gaseous emission parameters. It presented a relationship between the emission from flared gas and air quality index.

Abstract:
Introdução: A malária permanece como grande problema de importância em saúde pública no Brasil, sendo responsável por internações, absenteísmos no trabalho e nas escolas, e óbitos. Objetivo: Apresentar informações e dados sobre a malária no município de Novo Repartimento – PA, buscando e elucidar a situação epidemiológica local. Material e métodos: A coleta dos dados ocorreu através do Sistema de Informações de Vigilância Epidemiológica – SIVEP-MALÀRIA, na Secretaria de Vigilância em Saúde de Novo Repartimento - PA. Os dados obtidos são referentes aos anos de 2016 a 2020. A tabulação e análise de dados foram obtidas mediante o programa Microsoft Excel. Resultados: Os resultados revelaram que o ano de 2017 apresentou os maiores índices de prevalência, com uma significativa prevalência no ano seguinte, 2018. A incidência elevada no número de casos em 2017 está de acordo com os dados epidemiológicos do ano, no qual registraram um aumento de 48% no número de casos em todo Brasil, sendo o Pará o segundo estado com maior número de notificações. Este elevado registro no número de casos em 2017 no município pode está relacionado ao aumento do desmatamento na Amazônia, de 14% no mesmo período, 2017 a 2018. No ano de 2019 apresentou uma queda considerável com relação a 2018, e o ano de 2020 manteve a redução, mantendo a concordância com os dados gerais do Brasil, no qual 2020 manteve uma queda, de janeiro a fevereiro, de 21,3% em relação ao mesmo período de 2019. Conclusão: Dado o exposto, nos dados epidemiológicos do município de Novo Repartimento, verificou-se um decréscimo no número de casos de malária na região nos últimos anos, 2019 a 2020, resultado que é compatível com os encontrados nas demais regiões do país, logo é evidenciada a importância do Brasil continuar os esforços de combate a essa doença.

Abstract:
Pulsating heat pipes (PHPs) excel at transferring heat efficiently over a small area. As electrical components continue to miniaturize, heat flux is increasingly important in thermal management. In this work, the effect of condenser temperature in a PHP was explored. Significantly reduced thermal resistance in the PHP was achievable by increasing the condenser temperature. It was found that for a given heater input, the evaporator temperatures with a 30°C condenser temperature were lower than with a 20°C condenser temperature. It is hypothesized that this is the result of more favorable fluid properties (viscosity and vapor pressure) at those temperatures. It is therefore possible, in some cases, to reduce the temperature of the device being cooled by placing the condenser in a warmer environment.

Serving as a windbreak, properly sited and designed snow fences have been proven effective in mitigating the negative impacts of blowing snow. To achieve the best snow-control effects, the ideal locations for snow fences are usually outside the roadway right-of-way. Few efforts have been made to examine the economic efficiency of snow fences and explore ways to reward private landowners. The objective of this project was to develop methodologies for evaluation of the costs and benefits of snow fences in Illinois and identify ways to encourage private landowners’ participation in the snow fence program while keeping it cost-effective. The researchers conducted a literature review as well as agency and landowner surveys. They also acquired crash data, snow fence and blowing snow segment inventory data, and blowing snow removal expenditure data as well as performed benefit-cost analyses of three types of snow fences following Federal Highway Administration guides. The survey results suggested that standing corn rows (SCRs) and structural snow fences (SSFs) were the least intrusive options for landowners and living snow fences (LSFs) with trees were the most intrusive. Some concerns related to LSFs could be reduced by allowing landowners to play a role in the design and plant-selection process. The crash data indicated that no fatal and severe crashes occurred at snow fence segments, while several fatal and severe crashes occurred at blowing snow segments during 2012–2016. The results of the benefit-cost analyses showed that the benefit-cost ratios for LSFs and SSFs are comparable. However, LSFs are favorable over SSFs because little maintenance is needed after the plants are mature. Although SCRs have the highest benefit-cost ratio, the need to renew the agency-landowner agreement annually and the alternating of crops planted may limit their snow-control effectiveness and large-scale implementation. A tool was developed using MS Excel to facilitate the benefit-cost analysis of snow fences.

30 Day Hospital Readmission Rates, Frequencies, and Heart Failure Classification for Patients with Heart Failure Background Congestive heart failure (CHF) is the leading cause of mortality, morbidity, and disability worldwide among patients. Both the incidence and the prevalence of heart failure are age dependent and are relatively common in individuals 40 years of age and older. CHF is one of the leading causes of inpatient hospitalization readmission in the United States, with readmission rates remaining above the 20% goal within 30 days. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services imposes a 3% reimbursement penalty for excessive readmissions including those who are readmitted within 30 days from prior hospitalization for heart failure. Hospitals risk losing millions of dollars due to poor performance. A reduction in CHF readmission rates not only improves healthcare system expenditures, but also patients’ mortality, morbidity, and quality of life. Purpose The purpose of this DNP project is to determine the 30-day hospital readmission rates, frequencies, and heart failure classification for patients with heart failure. Specific aims include comparing computed annual re-admission rates with national average, determine the number of multiple 30-day re-admissions, provide descriptive data for demographic variables, and correlate age and heart failure classification with the number of multiple re-admissions. Methods A retrospective chart review was used to collect hospital admission and study data. The setting occurred in an urban hospital in Memphis, TN. The study was reviewed by the UTHSC Internal Review Board and deemed exempt. The electronic medical records were queried from July 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019 for heart failure ICD-10 codes beginning with the prefix 150 and a report was generated. Data was cleaned such that each patient admitted had only one heart failure ICD-10 code. The total number of heart failure admissions was computed and compared to national average. Using age ranges 40-80, the number of patients re-admitted withing 30 days was computed and descriptive and inferential statistics were computed using Microsoft Excel and R. Results A total of 3524 patients were admitted for heart failure within the six-month time frame. Of those, 297 were re-admitted within 30 days for heart failure exacerbation (8.39%). An annual estimate was computed (16.86%), well below the national average (21%). Of those re-admitted within 30 days, 50 were re-admitted on multiple occasions sequentially, ranging from 2-8 re-admissions. The median age was 60 and 60% male. Due to the skewed distribution (most re-admitted twice), nonparametric statistics were used for correlation. While graphic display of charts suggested a trend for most multiple re-admissions due to diastolic dysfunction and least number due to systolic heart failure, there was no statistically significant correlation between age and number or multiple re-admissions (Spearman rank, p = 0.6208) or number of multiple re-admissions and heart failure classification (Kruskal Wallis, p =0.2553).
