Abstract:

Abstract:
In this paper, the authors describe design and motivational issues of the web-based system SocialX. It supports social-collaborative and cooperative aspects of e-learning such as sharing and reuse of (solutions to) single exercises, and development of projects by group-work and social exchange. Such aspects are supported in the framework of a reputation system, in which learners participate. A learner’s reputation is computed, presented, and maintained during her/his interactions with the system. The algorithm to compute reputation can be configured by the teacher from tuning weights associated to various aspects of the interactions. To enhance collaboration on exercises, the authors support contextual (to the exercise) micro-forum and FAQs with a currency-based concretization of the perceived usefulness of questions/answers. Group responsibilities, peer-assessment, and self-evaluation are supported by group-based projects with self/peer-evaluated phases, i.e., different stages of a project are assigned to different groups and a stage-deliverable is both self-evaluated (at submission) and peer-evaluated (by the group receiving it for the next stage).

Abstract:
Coronavirus is part of a group of viruses responsible for seasonally causing acute respiratory syndromes that can be accompanied from mild symptoms to severe conditions with a significant mortality rate. In addition to hygiene care, social distance is one of the most efficient strategies to mitigate the spread of the virus and reduce impacts on the world. Therefore, government strategies have directed efforts to ensure the isolation at home of much of the world’s population. One of the strategies that has been considered an important tool to facilitate adherence to isolation is the encouragement of regular physical exercise, especially due to its ability to reduce feelings of anxiety and stress in the population. Thus, in parallel with the expansion of coronavirus in the world, the search for exercise at home has gained prominence on the internet, demonstrating the emerging need to think of strategies that can lead to an effective home practice in promoting adherence to a physically active lifestyle. On the other hand, some pertinent questions may arise, such as: how will the exercise prescription and follow-up of the population be carried out during this period? What guidelines should be followed for a safe and efficient prescription? What types of exercises should be prioritized? What are the criteria for this selection? Based on these questions, this study aimed to present a proposal, integrating the physiological and psychobiological aspects, of how physical exercise could be prescribed at home, considering the barriers faced by the population in the face of social isolation worldwide. In summary, here we suggest a prescription model that estimates the weekly performance of at least 150 minutes of aerobic exercises, as well as strength exercises for the main muscle groups. In addition, we guide the use of tools that allow the assessment of physical effort and personal satisfaction in training, with the aim of improving adherence and maintenance to a physical exercise program and thus contributing to health promotion during the COVID-19 pandemic.Palavras-chave: exercice prescription, home training, lifestyle, pandemic Covid-19

Abstract:
There are great physical and cognitive benefits for older adults who are engaged in active aging, a process that should involve daily exercise. In our previous work on the PHysical Assistant RObot System (PHAROS), we developed a system that proposed and monitored physical activities. The system used a social robot to analyse, by means of computer vision, the exercise a person was doing. Then, a recommender system analysed the exercise performed and indicated what exercise to perform next. However, the system needed certain improvements. On the one hand, the vision system captured the movement of the person and indicated whether the exercise had been done correctly or not. On the other hand, the recommender system was based purely on a ranking system that did not take into account temporal evolution and preferences. In this work, we propose an evolution of PHAROS, PHAROS 2.0, incorporating improvements in both of the previously mentioned aspects. In the motion capture aspect, we are now able to indicate the degree of completeness of each exercise, identifying the part that has not been done correctly, and a real-time performance correction. In this way, the recommender system receives a greater amount of information and so can more accurately indicate the exercise to be performed. In terms of the recommender system, an algorithm was developed to weigh the performance, temporal evolution and preferences, providing a more accurate recommendation, as well as expanding the recommendation to a batch of exercises, instead of just one.

Abstract:
Abstract. Studies of exercise in depression have not focused on persons already engaging in exercise. The current study aimed to provide an in-depth examination of exercise in depressive persons. In all, 62 depressive outpatients were compared with 62 parallelized nondepressive controls on various aspects of self-reported exercise (total amount, frequency, duration, intensity, type). Of the depressive participants, 52 % and of the nondepressive participants 76 % reported engaging in exercise. Compared with nondepressive exercisers, depressive exercisers exercised less (average total amount of M = 1.7 vs. M = 2.7 hr/week, including all intensity levels), were exercising less frequently (M = 1.7 vs. M = 2.6 sessions/week), and were engaged in fewer different exercise types (M = 1.4 vs. M = 2.0). Groups did not differ in intensity (M = 6.1 vs. 6.2 METs) or duration of exercise sessions (M = 1.1 hr). Exercisers with depression engage in exercise at reduced levels compared with nondepressive exercisers. Interventions to increase exercise in depressive patients should focus on raising the frequency of exercise sessions rather than the duration or intensity.

Abstract:
Despite typical physiological risks of regular physical activity such as injuries or overtraining, particularly excessive exercise can have psychological side effects and become obsessive. This obsessiveness is often associated with symptoms of addiction (i.e., reduction of other activities, lack of control, withdrawal symptoms). However, the underlying process of developing an exercise addiction is not yet fully understood. Besides the physiological approach, there are several psychological and socio-theoretical models focusing on personal and situational factors. The aim of this research was to explore the role of psycho-social aspects and their influence on symptoms of exercise addiction. 501 participants were asked to record their current sport regarding type, intensity, frequency, and competitive activity. Furthermore, the participants were asked about the motives to exercise as well as their inspiration to start with their current sport. Addictive symptoms were assessed using the Exercise Dependence Scale (EDS). It was expected, that inspiration, competitive activity, as well as the motives achievement striving and catharsis have an influence on the EDS score. The results showed that athletes rating the motives achievement striving, catharsis and enjoyment of movement as important or very important showed significantly higher scores in the EDS. No significant differences were found for inspiration, but competitive activity. The findings suggest an important role of intrinsic motivation on the development of exercise addition, particularly the motive enjoyment of movement. However, the interaction of personal and situational factors needs to be explored further. Keywords: achievement striving, catharsis, competitive athletes, exercise dependence scale, inspiration, physical activity.

Students are not always aware of the extent to which dispositions are associated with important aspects of social behavior. This classroom demonstration reveals how a certain disposition that students possess (self-monitoring orientation) is meaningfully related to a significant aspect of their lives (commitment in dating relationships). Specifically, this exercise demonstrates that individuals high in self-monitoring tend to adopt an uncommitted orientation to dating relationships, whereas those low in self-monitoring tend to adopt a committed one. The effectiveness of this demonstration and topics for further discussion are highlighted.

Abstract The military leader is the central pillar of the military structures whose functionalism is sustained and enhanced by the exercise of effective leadership. Explaining the role and place of the military leader in an organizational context creates prerequisites for the identification of his/her action aspects, in situations specific to the military organization at peace or during war. On this basis, it is possible to outline the sphere of competences of the military leader from the point of view of the defining features of the reference level at which the leader exercises his prerogatives. The content of the competences and the correlations established in their integrated system are the basis for operational and formative investigations and substantiation

Social capital is a critical aspect for launching a new venture. In the popular press and entrepreneurial education classrooms, develop your network is one of the most common pieces of entrepreneurial advice. Developing social capital is a crucial entrepreneurial competence. Three common questions are: What is the idea of a network of relationships as social capital? What are the dimensions of effective networks? How can nascent entrepreneurs develop strategies and abilities for building a valuable network? At Sierra Nevada College, the Sharon M. Croom Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Teaching Fellows have designed the Entrepreneur Network Experiential Exercise to get students into thinking about these social capital resource questions and taking action in developing social networks.

Abstract:
Purpose This study aims to investigate how boundary work is carried out at the incident site during exercises with police, ambulance and rescue services, and how boundary awareness is developed based on this boundary work. Collaboration in emergency work is challenging on many levels. The unforeseen and temporary nature of incidents presents basic challenges. Another important challenge is boundaries between specialised and autonomous emergency service organisations. Knowledge on how exercises are performed to increase the individuals' and organisations' preparedness for future joint-response work is relatively limited. Design/methodology/approach Empirically, full-scale exercises involving police, ambulance and rescue services and with repetition of practical scenarios and joint-reflection seminars are studied. Interview data with 26 exercise participants were analysed using thematic analysis. The analytic focus is on how boundaries are identified, negotiated and managed in the participants’ work. Findings Much of the work in the exercises was performed within distinct areas of expertise, in accordance with concrete routines, skills and responsibilities. Boundary work was often organised in the form of distribution of labour or creating chains of actions. The exercises shed light on challenges related to other aspects of emergency response, such as a lack of resources, diverging primary responsibilities, time-criticality and hazardous environments. The design allowed participants to explicate boundaries, to test and discuss alternative solutions and to visualise the effects of different solutions, as the scenarios were repeated. Originality/value The study found that the boundaries that were identified were often of institutional character, and were also related to the specific scenarios and to the actions taken in the activities. By integrating real-life experiences of collaborative work in the exercise, the exercise gained a certain meaning that was essential for the participants to develop boundary awareness.

Abstract:
The basic principle for the exercise of professional social work is the respect for human rights and social justice. The social worker's activity is associated with high expectations on the part of society, although the moral standards of society are typically on a lower level. The legislative environment or norms governing the decisions of social workers are determined by legislation as well as generally applicable ethical norms. In practice, this creates ethical dilemmas consisting in the acceptance of a hierarchy or priorities of individual norms, whereas the adopted and applied values and norms can be counterproductive. This situation may cause a conflict between professional ethics and valid social norms. The following article tackles the issues in social work arising from the stereotypes surviving in society and a lack of competence of many social workers.

Abstract:
Background:The purpose of the current study was to examine the association between the level of exercise behavior and individual and environmental factors related to exercise behavior among female Japanese undergraduate students. Methods:The participants were 2482 female Japanese undergraduate students. Participants’ level of exercise behavior was measured by the stage of change to exercise in the transtheoretical model. Individual and environmental factors related to exercise behavior were assessed using body mass index, self-efficacy, social support, perceived positive and negative aspects of exercise, perceived neighborhood environment, attitude toward physical education lessons in childhood and puberty, and depression. Results:Scores for self-efficacy, social support, positive aspects of exercise, and perceived neighborhood environment were significantly higher among women who were more active compared with those who were inactive. On the other hand, scores for negative aspects of exercise and depression were greater among inactive women compared with those who were insufficiently active and/or active. In addition, past attitude toward exercise in primary school, junior high school, and high school was associated with current level of exercise behavior. Conclusions:This cross-sectional study confirmed that psychosocial and environmental factors were closely associated with level of exercise behavior among female Japanese undergraduate students.

Incivility is a critical, but under-examined aspect of teaching and learning. It has important implications for the academic success of students and the university as a whole. Bullying research offers a unique lens through which this type of anti-social behaviour can be understood with a view of developing intervention strategies. The exercises outlined in this paper will help professors gain valuable information about their students’ understanding of the continuum between civility and incivility. The potential results from this reflective exercise can be an exciting example of the benefits of classroom engagement, where the knowledge gained from participating students is reinvested into their classrooms, thus contributing to their own creation of a civil learning community.

Abstract:
Exercise self-efficacy is a powerful predictor of physical activity behavior, which enhances health and well-being for older adults. Social relations have been proposed as influential precursors for exercise self-efficacy. In a longitudinal study of 160 older adults with osteoarthritis (76.9% women), the authors found that social support (but not social strain) significantly predicted exercise self-efficacy in a structural equation model examining cross-sectional data: χ2(178, N = 160) = 264.57, p < .01; RMSEA = .06; CFI = .92; TLI = .90. When data were examined longitudinally, however, social strain (but not social support) significantly predicted lower exercise self-efficacy 1 year later: χ2(233, N = 160) = 288.64, p < .01; RMSEA = .04; CFI = .96; TLI = .95. Results support the negativity effect, suggesting that social strain might be the more potent aspect of social relations and should be the target of interventions.

AbstractObjective: We assessed exercise levels and psychosocial aspects of exercise among pregnant smokers. Methods: A cross-sectional telephone survey of 88 pregnant smokers assessed levels of participation in exercise and psychosocial aspects of exercise; namely, self-efficacy, beliefs, perceived social support, perceived barriers, intentions and stage of change. Results: The women reported slightly higher levels of physical activity than for the general population of young women. The vast majority of women interviewed reported that exercise was important in their pregnancy, that they intended exercising regularly during pregnancy and were interested in exercise classes as an aid to smoking cessation. Fatigue was the most commonly reported barrier to physical activity during pregnancy, followed by ‘it takes too much time’, ‘uncomfortable when I exercise’ or ‘not sure what to do’. The vast majority of women expressed very little confidence and social support towards exercising. Conclusion: The results suggest that there is potential for using physical activity as an aid to smoking cessation during pregnancy. However, such interventions would need to be sufficiently intensive to address perceived barriers to exercise, lack of social support, low self-efficacy and be tailored to different stages of pregnancy.

There is no doubt that social media have become a very important part of many people’s everyday life. The consequences of their usage is an increased engagement in defamation, most likely due to the aspect of anonymity present in the online environment. Such cross-border (or more precisely border-less) defamation raises difficult challenges in terms of jurisdiction and applicable law. These challenges, which will be analysed in more detail in the article, remain unresolved up until today. Moreover, negative effects occur not only within private international law itself, but status quo significantly influences the exercise of basic human rights, too. Besides analysing the existing EU legal framework and applicable case-law, the article also looks into the possible alternatives.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Physical exercise has a positive effect on the health of individuals. Long-term sedentary behavior can induce coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. Lack of physical exercise has become the fourth leading cause of death worldwide. Therefore, youth sports are very important for physical health. Objective: To systematically reveal the influencing factors of adolescents’ physical exercise and improve the effectiveness of interventions on adolescents’ physical exercise behaviors, this article is based on social ecology theory to study the structural model of adolescents’ physical exercise factors. Methods: The thesis considers factors affecting adolescent physical exercise as the research object and uses literature method, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, etc., to construct a structural model of factors affecting youth physical exercise, including four primary indicators and 19 secondary indicators. Results: Adolescent physical exercise is affected by the school, family, social and personal factors. Among them, family factors have the greatest impact on young people's physical exercise. Personal factors rank second, school factors, and social factors rank third. Among the family factors, the major influences on youth physical exercise are “parental support,” “parents’ cognition of physical exercise,” and “parental exercise habits.” Conclusions: The influencing factors of adolescent physical exercise involve four aspects: family, society, school, and self. Family factors have the greatest impact on adolescent physical exercise, and personal factors are the second, school factors, and social factors are the third. Objective: The aim of the article is to review the evidence that aerobic exercise may be a useful adjunct treatment for ADHD. Method: Studies on physical, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of aerobic exercise that are relevant to ADHD are reviewed and evaluated. Results: Stimulant medication, the main pharmacotherapy for ADHD, and aerobic exercise both act on catecholamine pathways. Aerobic exercise has been shown to be beneficial in preclinical studies on spontaneous hypertensive rats, an animal model of ADHD, and in clinical trials of children with ADHD, as an adjunct treatment to medication. Social and neurocognitive function in children and adults seem to be positively affected by exercise as well. Nevertheless, no controlled clinical trials in adults with ADHD have been conducted. Conclusion: Aerobic exercise may be a useful non-medication adjunct therapy for ADHD. The clinical effectiveness of aerobic exercise for ADHD in children and adults warrants further clinical studies.

PURPOSE: This study aimed to understand the barriers to exercise and facilitators of exercise for up to 4 weeks following breast cancer surgery.METHODS: A descriptive qualitative research method was used in this study. Twelve patients were recruited through purposive sampling immediately after breast cancer surgery.RESULTS: Physical aspects (pain at the surgery site, reduction in the range of motion, and decrease in fitness), environmental aspects (difficulty in movement due to drain, lack of information on exercise), and psychological aspects (concerns about side effects, fear of pain, and fear of injury during exercise) were identified as barriers to exercise. Expectation of positive effects (recovery from surgery, prevention of lymphedema, usefulness for future radiation therapy, prevention of cancer recurrence, and health management) of exercise and social support (hospital education, support from medical staff, and exercise information received via mass media) were identified as facilitators of exercise.CONCLUSIONS: We recognized different barriers to exercise and facilitators of exercise among patients who recently underwent breast cancer surgery. Future exercise intervention studies should consider minimizing such barriers and maximizing the facilitators identified in our study.

Abstract:
Purpose In this project, we explore the experiences of people who report speech changes associated with Parkinson's disease as they describe taking part in everyday communication situations and report impressions related to speech treatment. Method Twenty-four community-dwelling adults with Parkinson's disease took part in face-to-face, semistructured interviews. Qualitative research methods were used to code and develop themes related to the interviews. Results Two major themes emerged. The first, called “speaking,” included several subthemes: thinking about speaking, weighing value versus effort, feelings associated with speaking, the environmental context of speaking, and the impact of Parkinson's disease on speaking. The second theme involved “treatment experiences” and included subthemes: choosing not to have treatment, the clinician, drills and exercise, and suggestions for change. Conclusions From the perspective of participants with Parkinson's disease, speaking is an activity requiring both physical and cognitive effort that takes place in a social context. Although many report positive experiences with speech treatment, some reported dissatisfaction with speech drills and exercises and a lack of focus on the social aspects of communication. Suggestions for improvement include increased focus on the cognitive demands of speaking and on the psychosocial aspects of communication.

Abstract:
The axiological assumptions of the modern society have been called into question under the challenges of today, which has also been reflected in the aspects of individual physical exercise and the development of the value of society's awareness of this important segment. The modern forms of communication via internet and social networks are some of the basic features of the modern way of life. Therefore, it is important to examine their role in various forms of values of consciousness, both in morality, art, law and politics, as well as in physical exercise and sports. In parallel with the examination of all types of social consciousness and the analysis of the value function in social life that internet communications and virtual reality have, another 'new reality' caused by the coronavirus pandemic has emerged. It can be said that people's awareness of the importance of physical exercise for the quality of their own life is an axiological assumption for their survival. The key values, such as: preservation of health, prevention of obesity, prevention of cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, osteoporosis and depressive-anxiety conditions cannot be disputed in any segment. The new virtual reality has therefore sought ways to support, enhance and encourage these core values of physical exercise. Numerous platforms and applications have been developed that can have an impact on the complete improvement of health and quality of life of all age groups. Regular physical activity also brings benefits to a person's mental health. It is also a segment where internet platforms cannot negatively affect the fact that regular physical exercise with internet apps or YouTube trainers cannot challenge the increase in Dopamine and serotonin levels in the brain associated with improved pleasure or the secretion of endorphins, hormones responsible for improving mood and energy. What 'new reality' and 'virtual reality' cannot provide when it comes to physical exercise, is face-to-face communication, eye contact, socialising, fun and laughter in the gym while performing exercises in group programs. This paper will try to find the answers on how much the mentioned socialisation has been reduced by the new situation and whether the likes and the emoticons can be stimulating as much as the living word during the physical exercise.

Abstract:
Positive affective reactions are a crucial aspect in physical activity maintenance. Affective reactions to sport and exercise were found to be important factors of physical activity. Coaches could be an important medium to induce positive affective reactions of participants in sport and exercise. Understanding how coaches trigger positive affective reactions (AR) during physical activity is a crucial aspect for increasing maintenance in sport and exercise. The aim of this study is to identify the competences of the coaches which are associated with perceived positive AR of participants during sport and exercise. To identify these factors, semistructured in-depth interviews were conducted with 18 participants, who take part in sport and exercise (nine female and nine male) of heterogeneous age (mean age 42.6; SD = 19.25; under 30 years, 30 to 60 years, 60 years and above) and who have different athletic backgrounds (individual sports, team sports, and gym classes). Four key coach competence factors were identified and used to design an integrated model. Three general competences: context sensitivity, social–emotional competences, professional competences, and the specific competences in the behaviour-related competences.

Abstract:
The process of socialization associated with the development of the social nature of an individual or social group is gaining importance for modern society. The main direction of socialization within sociology is the person as the main element of society. However, given that the socialization of the individual is determined by the nature of society itself, its characteristics and needs, we can say that the process of socialization is inherent not only personal but also other spheres of society. Although we will not deny that the anthropologization of social relations brings to the fore the sociologization of the individual as the main element of social communication. In this regard, the study of the peculiarities of the process of socialization of social interaction, factors, conditions and differences that accompany socialization is becoming increasingly important. Since the process of socialization is associated with a system of information exchange between members of society, the need to reflect and consolidate various social interests, the importance of finding social compromise, it is fair to say that socialization encompasses socio-political communication, in which law plays an important role. The study of the legal aspect of socialization is the theoretical basis for increasing the social role of law, the effectiveness of its regulatory action and ensuring public order. In our opinion, important aspects of socialization of compromise are its characteristics as a means of communication, features of manifestation within social institutions of different levels and substantiation of ways to increase the effectiveness of social functions of legal compromise and means of socialization in law. Compromise at the categorical level can be considered within the three directions of research related to its relationship with the category of conflict. We are talking about organic-structural, conflict-radical and anthropological-communicative directions. The first direction of research reflects society and the forms of its organization as coherently functioning systems. Here the category of "compromise" dominates over the category of "conflict". The second direction of research is characterized by the fact that the category of "compromise" is considered as a special manifestation of the category of "conflict", the latter is dominant in the field of public relations. Regarding the third area of research, the problem of compromise and conflict within this concept is considered at the level of relationships between people, whether macro (state) or micro (group of people). At the same time, compromise and conflict are studied as equivalent interacting categories of public life. A legal compromise has legal consequences, as the result of the agreement of the wills of the parties is the imposition on them of obligations to exercise mutual will. Moreover, the violation of a legal compromise is the basis for the legal liability of the parties. Legal compromise, due to its mediation by legal norms, acquires the attribute of binding and enforced measures. Characteristic of the social action of law is the reflection of its existence at different levels of social interaction, ranging from the individual, social groups, society as a whole. A legal compromise is no exception. Social institutions create an objective reality for a person, that is, it is his social world, in which the appropriate social order is established. At the same time, social institutions are both subjectively and objectively a reality. In view of this, compromise in the behavior of subjects is manifested differently depending on the level of social institution. In simple social institutions (interpersonal, intragroup), the conflict and compromise of the behavior of subjects usually depends on subjective factors that are influenced by objective reality by operating in a single space of other social institutions. In turn, in social institutions of a complex level (intergroup and state, world system) compromise is necessarily "tied" to the order objectively established in such institutions. Thus, compromises always arise between two subjects and are carried out in the corresponding interaction. At the same time, compromises at the state level, in addition to the relationship between its subjects, are necessarily characterized by a constant connection with society through the functioning of legal requirements enshrined in the relevant sources of law.

Abstract:
Background Social networking services (SNSs) are recognized to be a promising approach to easily deliver health interventions and to enhance social support for exercise adherence. However, the patterns and aspects of social support through SNSs have not been reported and their influence on other social-cognitive factors remains inconclusive. Objective Our objective is to explore how social support delivered through SNSs impacts interactions among Korean-Chinese (KC) middle-aged women and to identify how this approach influences social-cognitive factors for exercise (eg, sense of community, self-efficacy for exercise, and social support for exercise). Methods A mixed methods design was used. Text analysis of SNS messages and text mining using the Korean Natural Language Application (KoALA) were conducted. Social-cognitive factors (eg, sense of community, self-efficacy for exercise, and social support for exercise) were assessed at baseline and after 12 weeks using a structured questionnaire. A comparison of social-cognitive factors at baseline and at 12 weeks was conducted to identify any potential significant changes, using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Results A total of 259 SNS messages were collected from 24 KC women, distributed among four chat groups, who participated in a 12-week walking intervention program between August and October 2018. The individual average frequency of chatting via the SNS was 10.79 (range 0-34) and the most frequent type of social support through the SNS was network support (172/259, 66.4%). The most common words extracted from the SNS were Health, Exercise, Participation, and We. Overall, the perceived levels of sense of community (P<.001) and social support for exercise (P=.002) were significantly increased at 12 weeks compared with baseline. Group 1 (P=.03) and Group 4 (P=.03), whose members demonstrated the highest frequency of network support, experienced a significant increase only in the level of sense of community. Conclusions By integrating these data and conducting a mixed methods analysis, we observed that among the types of social support, network support was a key point for the promotion of social-cognitive factors in increasing exercise adherence. Therefore, network support through SNS-based interventions should be considered as a useful strategy to help vulnerable migrant populations make changes to exercise behaviors.

Abstract:
The research is dedicated to a number of problematic areas in implementing a social function of individual bankruptcy. Crisis events of 2020 required measures from many states intended to support both large and small businesses and individual citizens. Personal bankruptcy as a legal tool provides an opportunity for persons with financial hardships to be legally released from further fulfillment of creditor claims. Along with that, it becomes more and more relevant to overcome bureaucratic, financial and other barriers to exercise rights and legal interests of consumers in this area. The paper is intended to identify a number of problems impeding the implementation of the social function of private bankruptcy and to develop possible solutions during the discussion. These issues were addressed based on regulatory and scientific sources containing relevant information on the institute of private bankruptcy using a number of general scientific (analysis, induction) and particular scientific (formally legal) methods. The research resulted in a list of primary problematic aspects in legal regulation and practice of private bankruptcy in the Russian Federation impeding the implementation of the social function of this institute. Solutions are proposed for discussion, which are related to financing private bankruptcy, abuse of the creditor right, low level of population awareness of the ways, methods and consequences of solving issues connected with overdue debts. This paper presents an overview of primary problematic aspects and their solutions. Each aspect will be considered in more detail in future researches.

Abstract:
Obesity is not only a medical illness but also a cosmetic problem. Obesity can be defined by the BMI index, which is not very accurate. The ABSI index, which includes BMI, the person’s waist circumference, and their height may be used to more accurately determine obesity. Time is very important in saving people's lives, especially in emergencies. The rescue time for obese people is even longer — often much longer — than for other disabled people. This is because more rescuers are needed, problems arise when they have to go through the door or go up and down stairs. For the evacuation of obese people, evacuation pads located under the mattress are often used. Evacuation pads are used, for example, by hospitals or social service homes. Evacuation pads are designed for use by nurses, other emergency staff, or caretakers. In this exercise, four people were used – two nurses and two firemen. To find out the advantages and disadvantages of the evacuation pad, we performed a tactical exercise. During the tactical exercise, the victim was evacuated by a single nurse, then by two nurses. After that, the victim was rescued by one firefighter and then two firefighters. This research is relevant to aspects of the rescue of immobile obese people with a special evacuation aid. It demonstrates the advantages and disadvantages of an evacuation pad based on actual tactical rescue exercises.

Purpose:A signature characteristic of positive youth development (PYD) programs is the opportunity to develop life skills, such as social, behavioral, and moral competencies, that can be generalized to domains beyond the immediate activity. Although context-specific instruments are available to assess developmental outcomes, a measure of life skills transfer would enable evaluation of PYD programs in successfully teaching skills that youth report using in other domains. The purpose of our studies was to develop and validate a measure of perceived life skills transfer, based on data collected with The First Tee, a physical activity-based PYD program.Method:In 3 studies, we conducted a series of steps to provide content and construct validity and internal consistency reliability for the life skills transfer survey (LSTS), a measure of perceived life skills transfer. Results:Study 1 provided content validity for the LSTS that included 8 life skills and 50 items. Study 2 revealed construct validity (structural validity) through a confirmatory factor analysis and convergent validity by correlating scores on the LSTS with scores on an assessment tool that measures a related construct. Study 3 offered additional construct validity by reassessing youth 1 year later and showing that scores during both time periods were invariant in factor pattern, loadings, and variances and covariances. Studies 2 and 3 demonstrated internal consistency reliability of the LSTS.Conclusion:Results from 3 studies provide evidence of content and construct validity and internal consistency reliability for the LSTS, which can be used in evaluation research with youth development programs.

Abstract:
The article describes the main gender features of the implementation of political activities. We study the gender analysis as a process of assessing the different impact on women and men, which is implemented by existing or planned programs, legislation, public policy directions, in all spheres of society and the state. Moreover, the research proves the existence in society of discrimination based on sex, which means acts or omissions that express any distinction, exclusion or privilege on the basis of sex if they are intended to restrict or make it impossible to recognize, use or exercise on an equal basis human rights and freedoms for women and men. The article analyzes gender stereotypes in the social and political sphere that carried out on the example of a gender portrait of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Therefore, various forms of political activity are considered as a set of actions of individuals and social groups aimed at realizing their own political interests. We explore the effectiveness of the implementation of gender policy, which is manifested in the actions of political actors aimed at the adoption of the partnership of the sexes in the definition and implementation of political goals, objectives and methods for their achievement. It was stated that in the process of the democratic development of Ukrainian society, a social order for women engaged in active public and political activities and capable of holding high management positions should be met. This work reveals that the necessary component of the process of social development is the conduct of gender analysis, the introduction of gender analysis in the practice of assessing all social processes and the effectiveness of management of socio-economic and political development. In addition, the study proves that prerequisite for the development of society is gender equality, that is, the equal legal status of women and men and equal opportunities for its implementation, which allows individuals of both sexes to participate equally in all spheres of society’s life. Also noted that the existence of gender inequality slows down the opportunities for economic growth, weakens the system of public administration and reduces the effectiveness of human development strategies. Therefore, careful study of the gender features of contemporary political life and the definition of the directions of further social development is an important condition for ensuring gender parity in various spheres of Ukrainian society. Accordingly, we determine that it is necessary to reduce the influence on the public consciousness of gender stereotypes, that is, stereotypes about the role and place of women and men in society having a cultural and historical basis and, in the majority, restricting the rights of women in society and generating gender discrimination. The article demonstrates that the peculiarities of modern political processes require the search for new approaches to explain and predict the various conflicts between the branches of power, political crises, in order to design policies and to choose the means of state policy.

Abstract:
To enhance our understanding of exercise adherence, predictors of adherence based on social-cognitive theory were compared with those derived from a trait approach. A community-based sample of older, sedentary men and women was administered the Self-Motivation Inventory and a self-efficacy questionnaire. Subjects were randomly assigned to one of three exercise regimens or to an assessment-only control condition for the following year. The subjects in the exercise conditions recorded each bout of exercise and rated the experience in terms of perceived exertion, enjoyment, and convenience (PEEC) on monthly logs. Based on social-cognitive theory, it was postulated that self-efficacy and certain aspects of the exercise bout itself, such as PEEC, would influence exercise adherence more than the general trait of self-motivation. Self-efficacy was significantly associated with exercise adherence at both 6 months and 1 year (rs = .42 and .44, respectively); self-motivation was not. Contrary to expectations, the PEEC components measured during the first 6 months did not make a significant contribution to the variance in adherence during the second 6 months.

Social commonweal work is a traditional virtue in China, which is also an important aspect of building a socialist harmonious society. With the continuous development of social economy and the accumulation of personal wealth, the emergence of a number of rich public consciences of organizations and individuals in society has held a wide variety of public activities to do publicity for the protection of animals and environment, etc. Although these activities are the public welfare, without fierce competition, but the exercise load exists. How to guarantee the exercise amount to adapt to different age groups, there is almost no any research. This paper firstly discusses the computer optimization technology. And then it constructs the computer optimization control model of exercise load in public welfare activities. At last, it carries out computer simulation analysis on the model. The results show that the introduction of the optimization model is conducive to control the exercise load in public welfare activities, so as to formulate a reasonable plan of public welfare activities.

Abstract:
Critics of liberalism and even some liberal theorists themselves have criticized a liberal emphasis on autonomy, because they associate autonomy with self sufficiency. That association reinforces the worst aspects of atomistic individualism: social isolation, insulation from the views of others, and a rejection of society's values and interests. But the association of autonomy with self-sufficiency is uncalled for; those who see that association are mistaken, for self-sufficiency represents not a fulfillment of autonomy but the abandonment of it. Autonomy, it is argued, has a social nature: It not only develops through sociality, but it also requires sociality for its exercise. In short, to be autonomous one must know one is autonomous; to know one is autonomous requires giving an account to others of the reasons for a decision or action. The social nature of autonomy may incline theorists to see persons as communitarian or socially situated selves. But communitarians such as Charles Taylor find the self defined in part by communal boundaries and thus see them as context-dependent. Autonomy is bounded by language, not community. It is both context-free and context-related, but not context-dependent. Liberal theorists who champion autonomy should therefore abandon any notions of selves as social atoms or isolates and build liberalism on the implications of autonomy's social nature. Part of those implications is that social institutions that foster and exercise autonomy must involve dialogue or communicative exchange. The most important and effective institutions of that kind are those of direct democracy.

Abstract:
Obesity is a global epidemic. A rise in obesity has been fueled by the COVID–19 enforced lockdown, having a massive impact on health, leading to over-eating and poor diet and sleep, as well as a reduction in physical activity and exercise and loneliness, as there is a need to stay healthy, fit and stronger and rebuild some of the healthy habits. It is related to improved risk of illness and death with ideal body weight. Physical activities with modifications of exercise and calorie intake together are considered as cornerstones in the prevention and management of obesity. Genetic factors, lifestyle factors such as financial status, home, and working environment and social relationships, play significant roles in developing and modifying weight control. Periodic weight gain is common during such times as holidays, the COVID-19 lockdown, and winter months. This review includes the most important aspects of obesity management were discussed, such as diet and nutrition, physical activity and exercises, lifestyle and environmental changes. Adherence to lifestyle measures with healthy eating habits and more physical activity, around the home to be encouraged among people, to offset the resultant obesity is what we recommend them and also discover new ways of raising the spirits while isolated.

Abstract:
AbstractResistance training is an important aspect of healthy ageing, yet participation rates are especially low among older people. Strategies are needed to ensure resistance training programmes are attractive to and appropriate for this target group. To inform the development of such strategies, individual interviews (N = 42) and focus groups (four groups, N = 37) were conducted with 79 Western Australians representing four stakeholder groups: instructors who deliver resistance training programmes to older people, health practitioners, policy makers and seniors. Results indicate that the need for personalised attention in the establishment and maintenance phases of a resistance training programme can constitute both a positive and negative aspect of older people's experiences. The negative aspects were identified as a series of tensions between the need for personalised attention and (a) the desire to participate in physical activity within social groups, (b) a preference for activity variation, (c) a dislike for large centres where personalised guidance is often available yet the surroundings can be considered unappealing, (d) cost issues and (e) the need for flexibility in attendance. Recommended strategies for overcoming these tensions include disseminating information about the benefits of resistance training in later life to increase motivation to participate, identifying additional methods of integrating resistance training into group exercise formats, making gyms more attractive to older people and providing non-gym alternatives for resistance training.

Abstract:
Few studies have tried to describe in detail the actual lifetime exercise experiences of very old women. In this paper, in-depth, guided life-course interviews with three women born in or before 1900 are used to shed light upon the social forces affecting the physical activities of young girls before the turn of the century. The late-life exercise patterns of these very old women appear to be rooted in very different ways to their past. However, the information gleaned from the interviews supports the early activation hypothesis that young girls at the turn of the century who were afforded opportunities and social support to develop physical skill in sport-type activities, or were physically challenged in domestic or farm labor, still appreciate and take advantage of the health-promoting aspects of exercise over 80 years later.

Abstract:
Obesity and metabolic syndrome represent an increasing epidemiological challenge for society given the associated social and health implications. Obesity is related to different metabolic disorders, like diabetes mellitus type 2, which has been subject to study in the last decades. Nowadays, most of the related research focuses on endocrine aspects, especially related to adipose tissue. This is due to the fact that some adipocytokines are proven to be of great relevance as therapeutic agents both for obesity and mellitus type 2 diabetes. This work integrates some aspects of the knowledge generated under these research studies. In this context, it is proposed the design and development of a computational model that provides a better dynamic view of the existing interactions between endocrine aspects of the adipose tissue and glucose control mechanisms in people with obesity. The model behaves as an observer that estimates the dynamics of internal state variables, not easy to be measured in the clinical practice, and which helps to understand the dynamic behaviour of measurable variables. The work analyses the effects of the external energy intake and exercises over the obesity control and glycemia. The model has been validated by using other authors’ data. Predictions of the influence over the measurable variables of the behaviours considered when the virtual patient follows different diets and physical exercise are shown as results.

Abstract:
Purpose: To examine the association between characteristics of social support for exercise and moderate-to-vigorous leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) among Latinas. Design: This cross-sectional study used baseline data from a cluster randomized controlled trial. Setting: The study was conducted in 16 churches located in San Diego County. Participants: Participants (N = 436) were Latinas between 18 and 65 years old who did not self-report >150 minutes or did not exceed 250 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous PA per week measured by accelerometer. Measures: Latinas listed up to 6 individuals who had provided support for exercise within the past 6 months, including their gender, relationship with the respondent, types of support provided, and respondent’s satisfaction with support. Self-reported LTPA was dichotomized (none vs any). Analyses: We generated dyads between Latinas who named ≥1 supporter (n = 323) and each supporter they named (n = 569 dyads). Logistic regression analyses were conducted using generalized estimating equations to adjust for multiple observations per participant. Results: Having an exercise partner (odds ratio [OR]: 2.16; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.01-4.62), help with household duties (OR: 2.70; 95% CI: 1.35-3.38), being “very much” satisfied with support (OR: 2.33; 95% CI: 1.26-4.30), and naming >2 supporters (OR: 2.57; 95% CI: 1.06-6.25) was positively associated with LTPA. Conclusions: Findings suggest specific aspects of support for exercise that should be targeted in future interventions to promote LTPA.

Abstract:
The purpose of this phronetic/pragmatic, mixed-methods study was to integrate quantitative data with qualitative data in examining the complex relations among depression, exercise, screen-viewing time, and life plans among 14 socioeconomically disadvantaged African American young adults. Based on the thematic analysis, the two emerging themes were as follows: life priorities (passing the General Educational Development [GED] test, pursuing profession/career, and being dedicated to church/ministry) and challenges in passing GED examination (e.g., difficulties with the GED test, high stress and low confidence, low interest in studying, health issues, and feelings of rejection/isolation). Based on cross tabulation, depression was highly associated with aerobic exercise and screen-viewing time (Cramer’s V = .44 and .42, respectively). Participants’ life challenges diminished the antidepressant effect of exercise and were linked to depression and excessive screen use. Two active men and a somewhat active woman experienced educational or health-related struggles, heavy screen watching, and severe depression. All three active men experienced educational challenges and severe depression. Two inactive participants reported limited screen use and limited depression, possibly because of their valued life goals (e.g., writing poetry and spiritually helping others). Contrary to the dominant cultural stereotype about African Americans being lazy, the study results show that the participants had highly similar career goals to the majority population yet faced many, significant structural barriers that interfered with their progress and thus sapped their motivation in achieving their life plans. Policy change is needed to reduce social structural barriers and racial systems of oppression in order to decrease poverty and depression.

Abstract:
According to the Federal center of kinesitherapy and sports medicine of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, only 12% of people who are involved in sports become apparently healthy. There has long been a polemic in literature, which is better physical education or sports? Physical culture is a part of General human culture. And the sport is just one of many means of physical exercise within this more General category of «physical culture». Today, unfortunately, culture prevents to live not only for athletes, but also politicians, businessmen and government officials. The article draws attentions to the negative aspects of sports that have become more prominent in recent years: injury, illness and even deaths of elite athletes. The article provides facts, statements of famous scientists, traumatologists, doctors and trainers about the reasons for the negative impact of sports and recommendations how to avoid it and warn that exercise: sports like smoking are dangerous to health. Recommendations for beginner athletes are given. The doctor's consultation and recommendations what kind of sport is best to do need to be at least in this problem. What should be: sportswear, shoes and most importantly what loads to use in the beginning. It is forbidden to go in for sports with a diagnosis of cancer and immunodeficiency diseases, colds and other inflammations and even if you feel ill. You need to listen to your body, finish training at the first signs of fatigue and avoid strenuous physical activity, which is rarely noticed by coaches. According to the statistics of injuries among runners: the most common injuries are knees, then ankles, hips, lower back, muscles and tendons, thighs and calves, upper back and neck. The US Safety Commission has registered 554,000 injuries to cyclists in one year. The recommendations of Academician M. Amosov are shown: a set of 10 exercises, repeating each exercise 100 times. Tibetan lamas recommend only 5 exercises and repetitions from 3 to 21 times each of the exercise. Everything can be used for good or harm. Everything is food, and everything is poison, the main thing is moderation. You can choose high sports achievements and records or high efficiency and healthy longevity.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is the materials of the prosecutorial, law enforcement and judicial practice, norms of procedural legislation and legislation on the prosecutor's office, which regulate social relations emerged in exercising discretionary powers by the prosecutor in the context of oversight activity over execution of laws by the entities under supervision, as well as the positions formed on this matter. The object of this research is the social relations that arise in exercising discretionary powers by the prosecutor in the context of his oversight activity over execution of laws by the entities under supervision, essence, principles and limits, as well as the problems of their implementation occurring in prosecutorial activity. The study of discretionary authority of government branches lately receives increasing attention due ti the fact that limitless exercise of such authorities can invoke corruptive behavior. Examination of the questions of legal regulation of discretionary authority of the prosecutor is of prime importance as the prosecutor's office oversights the execution of laws and observance of rights of the citizens. The existing legal constructs that allow the exercise of discretion by the prosecutor are far from perfect, which causes the problems of law enforcement and violations of rights of the subjects under supervision. Therefore, the author explored the views of the scholars on the possibility of application and the scope of discretionary authority in the work of the prosecutor’s office and other government branches, effective legislation that regulates the discretionary authority of the prosecutor along with the practical aspects of its use. The novelty of this work and the author’s special contribution consist in the fact that based on the obtained results, the author offers a definition of the discretionary authority of the prosecutor, principles and limits of their application, as well as the way the legal constructs involving such authority should be structured.

Abstract:
In a chronic and disabling disease like multiple sclerosis, rehabilitation programs are of major importance for the preservation of physical, physiological, social and professional functioning and improvement of quality of life. Currently, it is generally assumed that physical activity is an important component of non-pharmacological rehabilitation in multiple sclerosis. Properly organized exercise is a safe and efficient way to induce improvements in a number of physiological functions. A multidisciplinary rehabilitative approach should be recommended. The main recommendations for the use of exercise for patients with multiple sclerosis have been listed. An important aspect of the modern physical rehabilitation in multiple sclerosis is the usage of high-tech methods. The published results of robot-assisted training to improve the hand function and walking impairment have been represented. An important trend in the rehabilitation of patients with multiple sclerosis is the reduction of postural disorders through training balance coordination. The role of transcranial magnetic stimulation in spasticity reducing is being investigated. The use of telemedicine capabilities is quite promising. Due to the fact that the decline in physical activity can lead to the deterioration of many aspects of physiological functions and, ultimately, to mobility decrease, further research of the role of physical rehabilitation as an important therapeutic approach in preventing the progression of disability in multiple sclerosis is required.

Abstract:
Abstract Introduction. The aim of the study was to compare the image of the body, the level of its acceptance and satisfaction with it, as well as anxiety about one’s physical appearance and overall self-esteem in a group of adult women who did fitness exercise and those who were physically inactive. Material and methods. The study involved 464 women aged 18 to 35 years (M=25.49; SD=5.24), including 277 women who exercised regularly in fitness clubs in Warsaw and 187 women who did not engage in regular physical activity. The following instruments were adapted and used for the purposes of the study: the Figure Rating Scale, the Body Satisfaction Scale, the Self-Esteem Scale, the Social Physique Anxiety Scale, and a questionnaire designed by the authors. Student’s t-test was used to determine the differences between the two groups. Results. There were no statistically significant differences between the groups in terms of actual and ideal body parameters; however, the discrepancies between actual and ideal height and BMI were greater in women who were not physically active. The women who did fitness exercise were less dissatisfied with their overall and facial appearance, and they had higher self-esteem and lower anxiety about their physical appearance that those who were inactive. No significant intergroup differences were found for the subjects’ ideal and actual figures or for those preferred by women and preferred by men, nor for the discrepancies between these figures. Conclusions. Differences in the body image of adult women who did fitness exercise and those who were physically inactive were revealed for the emotional aspects of body image, but not for the cognitive ones. The differences found in the study are likely to be due to the selection of subjects and they do not provide sufficient evidence to prove that exercise has a positive impact on body image.

Abstract:
Well-being is a complex concept with objective and subjective elements that contribute to life satisfaction. Medical students experience inevitable transition from pre-clinical to clinical training with increasingly more independence and responsibility. This study aimed to identify well-being issues in undergraduate clinical students. The emotional, physical, social, spiritual, occupational and intellectual aspects of well-being were focused on. A thorough literature search was conducted according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Studies reporting issues from the six aspects of well-being in undergraduate clinical students, and published in peer-reviewed journals in English language from the year 2000 to 2020 with full-text available online were included. The initial search from PubMed, OVID Medline, Psych INFO and CINAHL Plus retrieved 623 articles with 51 studies included in this review. Evidence from the previous studies demonstrated poor well-being among undergraduate clinical students. Stress, lack of exercise, low peer and family support, and mistreatment by clinicians and patients were common well-being issues encountered. Based on this literature review, the five aspects of well-being except the emotional aspect were less explored. Thus, it will be of interest to investigate well-being issues among Malaysian undergraduate clinical students from the physical and occupational aspects, which are further impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and to identify possible contributing factors. Undergraduate clinical students are faced with several well-being issues. Thus, early detection of these issues is important to avoid devastating consequences to students and patients.
