Abstract:
Anthropocentrism apsolutizes existence in relation to human essence. In this, it may downgrade generic essence of human and its primeval need for nature. Principles of sustainable development are challenged. The way of life and work are out of step with these principles. Therefore, central question of sustainable development is: where are the causes of modern man alienation from principles of sustainable development. We have to search for the answers in human nature and nature of human community. Their synthesis can direct socioantropogenesis of modern man in direction of accepting principles of sustainable development, in which principle of need is more important than need itself.

Abstract:
The visual and spatial orientation of Western and Greek thought is analyzed against the aural and temporal perspective found in a Jewish and Hebrew mode of thought These different modes of thought have directed the use of language and communication within these two groups; by comparing these two methods of communication, we are able to locate and discuss the strengths and the weaknesses of each. A new balance between the two can encourage a more effective and affective communication.

Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the study of the place of the epics in social memory on the example of Indian society. The relevance of the topic is determined both theoretically and practically. The theoretical aspect is the epistemic dimension of narratives: how do they correspond to the reality and what is there from creative imagination? The practical aspect of research is related to the need to comprehend new myths in the conditions of global competition and cognitivism, when the border between fake and fact is marked with the fine line of narrativity. In the midst of globalization, we have unprecedented opportunities to study the world epics and their influence on the dynamics of cultures, determine their internal institutional and structural conditions that influence the socio-political role of the epic in the development of civilizations; to fix the decisive factors in the modernization of myth; to outline the main directions of its transformation in the era of modernity. The purpose of the work is to conduct a value-semantic analysis of the ancient Indian epic. The tasks of the work are: 1) to determine the place of the epic in the ancient Indian literature, 2) to propose the classification of the Indian epic from the point of view of the aesthetic attitude to the world, and 3) to characterize the aesthetic narratives. The subject of the study: the semiosphere of ancient Indian epics. Research methods: structural, systemic and genetic types of analysis and philosophical hermeneutic. Results: The Indian epic is presented as a value-semantic aesthesis, the evolution of the aesthetic attitude, the transcendence of the pragmatic and the Gnostic. The aesthetic dynamics of the epics is explained by the reaction to the routinization of texts, the loss of their ontopoietic significance. The novelty of the article is determined by the following perspectives: 1) a special aesthetic type of myth-making is singled out, 2) the emphasis of the aesthetic meaning of the Bhagavata Purana is stressed, 2) the question is raised about the different ethos and aiesthesis of ritual, Gnostic texts and epic narrations. Prospects for the study: the study of socio-cultural innovation of India's epic texts, their participation in modern socio-cultural dynamics, the impact of Indian narratives on the noospheric processes of global cultural synthesis. The study of the Indian epic is timed to coincide with the launch in 2018 on Russian screens of the grand Indian television project 2015-2016 “Sita and Rama”, which includes 304 series and is based on the ancient Indian epic “Ramayana”.

Abstract:
The article offers a socio-historical approach to the problem of creative personality in polemic with the article by A.M. Dorozhkin and S.V. Shibarshina. Creative activity is considered not as a psychological process or an expression of cognitive abilities, but as a result evaluated by the professional scientific community and even by the entire society. The distinction between the psychological, historical and historical-epistemological interpretation of creativity is discussed. The authors argue that although the proposed approach has an explanatory potential for creativity as a socio-historical phenomenon, it reduces the nature of individual personalities and their role in scientific research to a public response to a new result. The personality of an author is getting vanished in this result, becoming only a label of some social achievement. Using the terminology of J.-P. Sartre, the essence of the author as a unique individual is reduced to his social existence as a scientist. The purpose of this existence is not the fulfillment of a vocation, but the implementation of a professional mission to promote science as a public good, which consists, among other things, in creating a field of intellectual tension. The scientist ensures the objective increase of public awareness of the painful points of history and modernity; critically analyzes global risks from ecology to security; and presents images of a possible and required future. Thus, creative science acts as a source for development through problematization, a factor of cognitive dissonance, a troublemaker, a potential violator of social stability.

Abstract:
Abstract This article presents an annotated translation of The Equivalence between Giving and Receiving (al-Taswiya bayna al-ifāda wa-l-qabūl), a short Arabic treatise on essence (dhāt) and existence (wujūd) composed by the South Asian philosopher-Sufi Shaykh Muḥibb Allāh Ilāhābādī (996–1058/1587–1648). Although modern scholarship has habitually referred to Muḥibb Allāh as an ardent defender of the doctrine of waḥdat al-wujūd (“unity of existence”) associated with the figure of Ibn al-ʿArabī, such generalized formulations fail to do justice to the uniqueness of Muḥibb Allāh’s intellectual contributions. Most authors who had set out to provide a philosophical defense of Ibn al-ʿArabī’s teachings – including the well-known likes of Ṣadr al-Dīn al-Qūnawī, ʿAfīf al-Dīn al-Tilimsānī, ʿAbd al-Razzāq Kāshānī, Dāwud al-Qayṣarī, ʿAbd al-Raḥmān Jāmī, Mullā Ṣadrā, and so on – had tended to prioritize a philosophically utilizable formulation of wujūd or “existence.” Muḥibb Allāh, in notable contrast, favors a presentation of the divine Reality in terms of “pure essence/quiddity” (dhāt/māhiyya maḥḍa), at times going to considerable lengths to uphold his alternative formulation. Such a strategy of argumentation is uncommon amongst philosophical defenders of Ibn al-ʿArabī, the distinctiveness of which is further enhanced by Muḥibb Allāh’s peculiar mode of disputation, which straddles the line between metaphysics and natural philosophy/physics. The Taswiya occasioned at least sixteen commentaries and refutations; this translation benefits from consulting the earliest of these, composed by Mullā Maḥmūd al-Jawnpūrī (d. 1062/1652) and Khwāja Khwurd (d. 1073/1663), as well as three later commentaries by Ḥabīb Allāh Paṭnaʾī (d. 1140/1728). Most significantly, this translation makes extensive use of Muḥibb Allāh’s own Persian auto-commentary, the Sharḥ-i taswiya, which is a critical aid for deciphering the author’s at times opaque manner of expression and argumentation.

Abstract:
PONTIFÍCIA UNIVERSIDADE CATÓLICA DO RIO DE JANEIRO<br>COORDENAÇÃO DE APERFEIÇOAMENTO DO PESSOAL DE ENSINO SUPERIOR<br>PROGRAMA DE SUPORTE À PÓS-GRADUAÇÃO DE INSTS. By the end of the 1960s, large-scale architectural projects were discredited in West because they were associated with the established Power. Influenced by the ideals of May 1968, architects began searching alternative models based on the Historical language. They wanted to reach the autonomy of the architectural form by releasing it from their supposed ideological content, which was adhered to the abstract modern forms. Nevertheless, the post-modern approach, which was based on formal elements of the architectonical object and of the urban space, implied in the relinquishment of the metropolitan-scale. This urban-scale would be characterized by the references loss of organic formal structures. In Japan, modern research on large-scales was not interrupted, offering an important arsenal to the questions of contemporary urbanism. This dissertation verifies how the architects Fumihiko Maki and Rem Koolhaas propose the retaking and revision of modern metropolitan urbanism. They presuppose that architectonical Form is devoid of intrinsic meaning. Its appropriation by Power and also by people gives it meaning, removing architects responsibility on the totality of the project and giving them back the legitimacy of the discipline. This research follows the paths opened by these two architects through their Eastern and Western references, revealing the many instances in which architectonical concepts of both worlds converge, aiming to the persistence of modern thought.

Noailles-Pizzolato, Marie-Christine. "Existence et essence : une quête dans trois romans de Peter Matthiessen." Toulouse 2, 1997. http://www.theses.fr/1997TOU20020.

Full text
Abstract:
A well-trained naturalist but a writer by predilection and an adept of zen buddhism, matthiessen keeps exploring a world that has become absurd and questioning a human species that has long been alienated. Travelling is the raison d'etre of his life and provides him with ecologic and humanitarian commitments that are described in his travel books. In his fiction, such explorations turn into a difficult quest for a global unity or vital reconciliation to work for on a cosmic scale. The analysis of three novels partisans (1955), far tortuga (1975) and killing mister watson (1990) allows to follow the diversions of this quest from history, various myths and mysticisms, to its final aim : the convergence of existential preoccupations with essential yearnings. The symbiotic osmosis of existence with its essence in the present is best intimated by the links between a darwinian approach to the life sciences and the religion of the life-force. In its pragmatic syncretism zen, as a discipline, brings together all trends of thought and combines contemplation with action in the search for a thorough emancipation of being. Matthiessen's style is atomized on a surface level. Reason finding itself unable to make sense of such disorders, intuition is given free rein to grasp by itself the holistic unity of life. It is then easy to perceive how the author lets the whimsical flow of life penetrate his art while revealing art at the core of the living universe. As spontaneously as life itself the aesthetics of the many takes on the shape and movement of the one. A kind of "total art or performance" fusing eastern and western cultures is thus shown in the zen novels

Tanoüa͏rn, Guillaume de. "Cajétan ou les prodiges de l'analogie." Lyon 3, 2007. http://www.theses.fr/2007LYO31032.

Full text
Abstract:
VII). Sa physionomie intellectuelle et sa personnalité spirituelle (ch. 1) font de Cajétan, face à Luther, le défenseur moderne d'une ontologie analogique, permettant de penser le surnaturel chrétien au-delà des vertiges de l'intériorité<br>In this work about Thomas de Vio, called Cajetan (1468 - 1534), Guillaume de Tanouarn attempts to reconstitute the original intellectual architecture proper to Cajetan, over and above his work as the Commentator which marks him as a Dominican within the Thomist School. Starting from a precise conception of the analogy of names, taken in the literal sense as analogy of proportionality (ch. 2), Cajetan proposes a dual ontology by revisiting the distinction between essence and existence which St. Thomas Aquinas made in his De Ente et Essentia (ch. 3). These perspectives in fundamental ontology permit Cajetan to attempt a theology of a Personal God - a far cry from the ontotheologizing protologies (ch. 4) - which opens the door for a constructed defense of Divine Freedom (ch. 5). The contribution of Cajetan is also wholly original in the domain of anthropology. Contrary to the general conception about him, Cajetan only accepts the naturalism of Aristotle in a removed manner (ch. 6). His elucidations about the Incarnation give him the occasion to lay the speculative bases of a theological personalism (ch. 7). His intellectual physionomy and his spiritual personality (ch. 1) makes Cajetan, visa-vis Luther, the modern defender of an analogical ontology, which permits him to conceive of the "christian supernatural", over and above the vertigos of interiority

The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze how Paul Tillich understands and relates the concepts of love and ontology in his various works. It is possible to perceive throughout the text that Tillich presents love as an ethical principle and ontological foundation and, therefore, brings with it many ambiguities. In this way, he explores the concept of love from what he calls "different qualities", taking as reference the greek understandings of eros, philia, epithymia (or libido) and agape. The hypothesis that guides this work is that there is a line of reasoning present in Tillich's thought, which seems at all times to insist on overcoming the ambiguities of life and the fragmentary character to which the human being is subjected. Hence, essential questions such as his understanding of ontology, his understanding of the importance of myth in religious language, and his interpretation of the fall as the transition from the essence to the existence that results in existential alienation are discussed. But the focus of the dissertation is to explore how Tillich presents the power of love as one that reunites human being to God, the foundation of his being; with his neighbor; and especially with himself. Finally, the text exposes how Tillich understands that the relationship between agape and eros is essential for understanding love as a single and indivisible force, capable of closing the ambiguities of life and presenting itself as grace to the human being, opening possibilities for overcoming the laws and the problematic of the contextualization of ethics in the historical transitions of the world.

Abstract:
The work of Ibn \'Arab (1165 AD / H. 560) is quite extensive, comprising about 400 titles, of which Kitb fu½½ al-¬ikam (The Book of the bezels of wisdom) stands out as one of the major writings in which the author presents his metaphysical conception in a more systematic way as his theory of divine names, by which the essence of real conceives, showing all as he deeply addresses, the meaning of the prophets and the wisdom transmitted by them, proposing an entirely metaphysical connotation for the prophetic. On this work, the prophecy itself assumes a fundamental importance. It is presented as the condition of possibility of determined existence, as well as the condition of possibility of knowledge of the essence of real, i.e.: the condition of possibility of knowing the first reality. It is quite interesting to notice the richness and discursive complexity, in which life and the paper are implied in this existence process, so that both the author and his work receive very significant and specific status relating to the metaphysical system presented. Making use of philosophy, theology and the Arab-Islamic mysticism, offering thereby a thought, though complex, universal reach that recognizes all the prophets of the historical cycle and several revealed traditions, the hermeneutic of Ibn \'Arab evidences itself as being very original, promoting a creative and conciliatory dialogue among several cultures and remaining until this day, deeply rich, innovative and inspiring for several cultures and thought domains.

Abstract:
The aim of the present study is to analyze the conception of time in six books of poems by José Hierro (1922-2002): Tierra sin nosotros (1947), Alegría (1947), Con las piedras, con el viento… (1950), Quinta del 42 (1952), Cuanto sé de mí (1957) and Libro de las alucinaciones (1964). It is suggested that the theme of time in Hierro´s poetry can be approached from three different points of view: existence, essence and consciousness. Furthermore, these three different perspectives are reflected in a chronological division of Hierro´s books of poems into three periods: existential poetry, intimist poetry and hallucinatory poetry. In order to develop and reinforce the thematic study, on the one hand, a comparative study is carried out that focuses on the relationship between poetry and philosophy, and, on the other, the thematic configuration on the surface level is considered. The methodological foundations that make it possible to achieve this objective are provided by Jean-Pierre Richard´s thematic criticism, Edmund Husserl´s phenomenology and Paul Ricoeur´s phenomenological hermeneutics. The dissertation concludes that Tierra sin nosotros and Alegría represent Hierro´s existential poetry, written during the post-war period and the reigning atmosphere of existentialism. Alegría, Con las piedras, con el viento… and Quinta del 42 constitute his intimist poetry. The second book, Alegría, is described as a “bridging book” between the first two periods. When the immediacy of the Civil War begins to fade, the literary scene shifts towards the more intimate theme of knowledge, and in Hierro´s poetry especially the phenomenon of time. In Quinta del 42, Cuanto sé de mí and Libro de las alucinaciones the reader encounters Hierro´s hallucinatory poetry. Quinta del 42 is another example of a “bridging book” between two periods. His hallucinatory poems transmit an extreme form of the search for inner truth which entails the deconstruction of time and space.

Full text
Abstract:
Bakgrund. The background overview of this research presented vulnerability as a contextual phenomenon in the encounter between nurse and patient. The essence of the concept of vulnerability appeared unclear, which indicates that there is a lack of knowledge about the concept of vulnerability. Aim. The aim of the study was to describe the essence of the concept of vulnerability in a nursing social context, meaning the encounter between humans being. Methods. The methods have been based on the model of conceptual analysis of Segesten (2011) and involved an inductive and a deductive qualitative approach. Findings. The concept analysis resulted in the following findings: susceptibility to damage – heartache, pain of the soul, defenselessness; courage to be vulnerable – human dignity, perceptiveness; uncertain threats to life – betrayal of the nursing core, annihilated identity; the profound human existence – desire for immutability, a direction towards a definite change. Conclusion. The essence of the meaning of vulnerability derives from man’s ever-changing existence. The changing existence gets its significance from threat to life, destroyed identity and betrayal of the nursing core, which is conceptualized by the vulnerability that arises in nursing care encounters, expressed in words like skinless, naked and defenseless. Clinical significance. The study has contributed to clarifying the meaning of the concept of vulnerability within nursing professions by unveiling the word's various dimensions within different nursing contexts. The clinical implications for the nursing care, but also the general public education, is that the word’s meanings can develop the language from the perspective of vulnerability.

Abstract:
The anxiety provoked by acknowledgement of the imminent end of existence or death is probably the one which agitates a human being most deeply. The attempt of this paper is not to give an answer as to how to reach immortality, but to explore the author's assumption that for acknowledgement of the mystery of death it is necessary first to discover a being's authentic identity. That is to discover her/his real essence which is hidden under the 'artificial' identity, where this identity is considered the being's ego, an identity formed upon the relative truth of life. The truths of life are relative because they are established by the people, thus they are based upon the changeable and contradictory nature of human beings. The focus of the paper is on researching the establishment of a being's identity, which is formed through she/he having two contradictory relationships with other human beings. The first one is negation and the other one is of acknowledgement of the identity of the other. The examination deals with art works of several contemporary artists, where most of them have experienced war. The philosophical framework of this examination uses the texts of French philosopher Emmanual Levinas, amongst others<br>Master of Arts (Hons) (Visual Arts)

Abstract:
The monograph solves two interrelated tasks: the theoretical definition of the modern content of the constitutional and legal status of the individual in our country in the context of the development of constitutional legislation, international law and the experience of legal regulation in foreign countries; the establishment of the most significant trends in the development of the legal status of the individual, causing changes in constitutional doctrine, legislation and law enforcement practice.&#x0D; The role of constitutional legislation in the realization of constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the problem of the existence of "parallel" regulation and personality at the level of the Constitution and current legislation. The issues of the influence of regional legislation on the development of the constitutional and legal status of the individual are considered separately. It is shown that different regulatory approaches are applied in this regard in different subjects of the Federation. Taking into account the fact that the legal status of an individual, along with rights and freedoms, is also formed by the duties of an individual, the essence and directions of the development of institutions of duties and responsibility are revealed.&#x0D; For readers interested in modern problems of constitutionalism, human rights and their protection.

Full text
Abstract:
The monograph is devoted to a multidimensional analysis of metaphor in modern English as a parallel nomination that exists along with a neutral equivalent denoting a person. The problem of determining the essence of metaphorical names and their role in the language has attracted the attention of many foreign and domestic linguists on the material of various languages, but until now the fact of the parallel existence of metaphors and neutral nominations has not been emphasized.&#x0D; The research is in line with modern problems of linguistics related to the relationship of language, thinking and reflection of the surrounding reality. All these problems are integrated and resolved within the framework of linguistic semantics, in particular in the semantics of metaphor. Multilevel study of language material based on semantic, component, etymological analysis methods contributed to a systematic and comprehensive description of this most important part of the lexical system of the English language.&#x0D; Metaphorical parallels are considered as the result of the interaction of three complexes, which allows us to identify their associative-figurative base, as well as the types of metaphorical parallels, depending on the nature of the connection between direct and figurative meaning. Based on the analysis of various human character traits and behavior that evoke associations with animals, birds, objects, zoomorphic, artifact, somatic, floral and anthropomorphic metaphorical parallels of the neutral nomination "man" are distinguished. The social aspect of metaphorical parallels is also investigated as a reflection of gender, status and age characteristics of a person.&#x0D; It can be used in the training of philologists and translators when reading theoretical courses on lexicology, stylistics, word formation of the English language, as well as in practical classes, in lexicographic practice.

Abstract:
This book is a collection of essays written by Bob Hale (three co-authored), with a critical introduction from Kit Fine. They comprise Hale’s final years of work, adding to and extending beyond his landmark monograph Necessary Beings: An Essay on Ontology, Modality, and the Relations Between Them (OUP, 2013, 2nd edition 2015). The essays develop and consolidate several key themes in Hale’s work, most notably the notion of definition, especially as it extends beyond definition of a word to definition of a thing more generally, and its relations to essence and existence; how the recently influential notion of truthmaking relates to and illuminates some of these issues; and ontological questions connected with Hale’s metaphysical commitments on the one hand, and his commitments in the foundations of mathematics on the other. Several of the essays engage with and respond to work by Kit Fine, and contributions to Being Necessary: Themes of Ontology and Modality from the Work of Bob Hale (OUP 2018). As such, these essays also demonstrate a rich and fruitful philosophical dialogue between Hale and his critics and friends.

Full text
Abstract:
Abstract External Corrosion Direct Assessment (ECDA) has now become acknowledged, by the Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) in North America, as a viable alternative to both in-line inspection (ILI) and the hydrostatic pressure test for the purpose of managing the threat to the integrity of high pressure pipelines due to external corrosion. Accordingly an ECDA standard is now in existence. The essence of ECDA is to use indirect above ground survey techniques to locate the presence of coating and external corrosion defects and then to investigate some of the indications directly by making excavations. However, one of the problems of above ground survey techniques is that they do not locate all defects and are susceptible to false indication. This means that the defects will not be present at all indications and that some defects will be missed. In view of this probabilistic techniques are now beginning to emerge that determine the expected number of true defects based on the number of indications. However, these techniques generally only involve one survey. Noting that, in order to be effective, at least two surveys are required, the purpose of this paper is to present a probabilistic methodology for determining the distribution of the true number of defects based on simultaneous interpretation of two survey methods, taking account of the probabilities of detection and false indication of each technique. The method also determines the likelihood of a defect being present based on whether both surveys give a coincident indication or whether just one of the surveys gives an indication. It is also shown how these probabilities change as further excavation results are acquired and hence how the method can be used as a basis for targeting excavation sites and optimising the number of excavations that are required. The primary focus of this paper is on the use of two independent coating surveys but the analysis may be readily extended to account for combinations of different types of survey.

This article analyzes the propaganda techniques used by the Soviet authorities in the USSR in order to form a specific system of ideologies, symbols and images. Soviet ideology was an integral part of the existence of the state from the beginning of its creation until the last days of its existence. One form of dissemination of ideology and its tools is propaganda. Communist propaganda permeated all spheres of social life and represented a powerful tool for manipulating public consciousness that ensured the dominance of the CPSU. Techniques used such as: ideological propaganda, cult of personality, agricultural propaganda, information manipulation, educational, cultural propaganda and demonization of the enemy were the most effective means of power management. Soviet propaganda in the USSR was concerned with creating its own model of the world.

Bregadze, Konstantine. "The Theme of War in German and Georgian Baroque Literature." In XII Congress of the ICLA. Georgian Comparative Literature Association, 2025. https://doi.org/10.62119/icla.4.9024.

Full text
Abstract:
The fierce Thirty Years' War in 17th century Germany (1618-1648) and the internal political chaos in 18th century Georgia (political fragmentation), the foreign aggression of the Ottoman Empire and the Kingdom of Iran against Georgia became the subject of poetic creativity, in particular, in the works of the famous German Baroque writer Andreas Gryphius (1616-1664) and the poem "Davitiani" by the representative of Georgian Baroque, Davit Guramishvili (1705-1792). War is considered here as an apocalyptic event that not only destroys the homeland politically and economically but also war is regarded as a universal catastrophe, because it destroys all perspectives on human existence, making the course of history lose its meaning. The lyrical characters of these authors reflect this hopelessness and meaninglessness with the baroque characteristic of Baroque, the deep sense of vanity, and the high style of Baroque poetry (genus grande), which makes the theme of war more apocalyptic than apocalypse itself. Thus, if Gryphius' sonnet “Thränen des Vaterlandes. Anno 1636” is set within the framework of the thirty-year war, where the apocalyptic visions of an objective universal catastrophe and the expectation of this apocalypse are conveyed, then in Guramishvili's lyrical poem we have reflections on the subjective existential fate, which is caused by a priori objective existences – political destabilization (historical factor) and the perfidy of "life" and "existence”, that is, by the spontaneity and unpredictability of existence (ontological factor) – "it is not in the hands of the one who holds it, but if you hold it with a fist". And here, the subjectivism of the lyrical hero of Guramishvili's poem, i.e. his subjective reflections on his existence, suddenly turns into an objective existential situation, namely, using Sartre's terminology, the existence of the lyrical hero of "Davitiani" can be perceived as "being" (Fr. en-soi, Germ. An-sich-ein, Existenz) and "essence“ (Fr. pour-soi, Germ. Für-sich-sein, Essenz) in the objectively given dialectic (Galle, 2009, p. 20; Seibert, 1997, p. 128), e. i. in the objectively given dialectic of existence and being when first there are existing and its ontological data, and then the personal existence of a person written in these data. Therefore, a priori we have an existential situation, when the existing and its ontological data always precede and forego the person (respectively, the lyrical hero of "Davitiani") and his private existence, and these ontological data (for example, birth, death, historical existence, temporality, transience, impermanence, etc.) appear to a person (respectively, the lyrical hero of "Davitian") as they are already written in advance, as they already exist beforehand.

Abstract:
The subject addressed in the article concerns the philosophical essence of representation and the world of contemplation in epistemology. It is followed and analyzed the cognitive process and the constitution of pure perception, the transition, then, through representation as a subjective reproductive image, to the symbolic, non-contemplative form of knowledge through language. The essence of representation lies in the fact that it thus makes the connection between sensible "living" through contemplation and rational thought, mediated by conventional language, as a symbolic form. Thus, the symbolic existence constituted/constructed through language becomes, in the process of knowledge, another dimension, the superior dimension of reality. The essence of man as a rational being is transformed into a symbolic being that communicates, in a semiotic context, with meanings and meanings, thus living in the universe of symbolic forms - mythology, language, science/knowledge, culture and religion.

Full text
Abstract:
The paper outlines challenges in the governance of functional urban areas, treated as a contemporary form/nature of the city. The institutional infrastructure of that governance consists in the co-existence of the formal/legal public authorities and hybrid partnerships, composed of public, private and non-governmental organizations. The spirit of the city is being the place of meeting other people and exchange of goods, assets, ideas and values. The city forms the background for the phenomena of human life and unusual events. The city treated as a functional urban zone is affronted with complex processes resulting from various types of flows in the spatial economy. Such phenomena as metropolization, suburbanization or urban sprawl demand new approaches to the governance and to the territorial management. Metropolitan governance is a result of tensions and fractures between various territorial actors. In the functional urban zone, one can observe many colliding or juxtaposing interventions, supported by different organizations, public or non-public entities, and – finally – by creative or influential individuals. That situation has a significant imprint on the spatial structure of the city and its surroundings. The main challenge is then the creation of arenas of dialogue, which become at least as important as formal, legal regulations. The adaptive governance, depicted by E. Ostrom, then gives the useful tools for hybrid partnerships, responsible for the management and the development of urban functional zones.

Both David Hume and Buddhism provides arguments refuting the existence of a personal identity, with evidence based on the fact that we cannot find an unchanging self within us. However, the differing views that the two philosophical systems hold toward the essence of causality is closely linked to their way of explaining the illusory nature of the self and indicates fundamental differences between the two theories. The contrasting context and purpose of the ideologies lead to contrasting meaning behind the seemingly similar denials of the self, with Hume aiming for revelation while Buddhism for guidance.

Relativistic quantum econophysics – new paradigms in complex systems modelling. [б.в.], 2009. http://dx.doi.org/10.31812/0564/1134.

Abstract:
This work deals with the new, relativistic direction in quantum econophysics, within the bounds of which a change of the classical paradigms in mathematical modelling of socio-economic system is offered. Classical physics proceeds from the hypothesis that immediate values of all the physical quantities, characterizing system’s state, exist and can be accurately measured in principle. Non-relativistic quantum mechanics does not reject the existence of the immediate values of the classical physical quantities, nevertheless not each of them can be simultaneously measured (the uncertainty principle). Relativistic quantum mechanics rejects the existence of the immediate values of any physical quantity in principle, and consequently the notion of the system state, including the notion of the wave function, which becomes rigorously nondefinable. The task of this work consists in econophysical analysis of the conceptual fundamentals and mathematical apparatus of the classical physics, relativity theory, non-relativistic and relativistic quantum mechanics, subject to the historical, psychological and philosophical aspects and modern state of the socio-economic modeling problem. We have shown that actually and, virtually, a long time ago, new paradigms of modeling were accepted in the quantum theory, within the bounds of which the notion of the physical quantity operator becomes the primary fundamental conception(operator is a mathematical image of the procedure, the action), description of the system dynamics becomes discrete and approximate in its essence, prediction of the future, even in the rough, is actually impossible when setting aside the aftereffect i.e. the memory. In consideration of the analysis conducted in the work we suggest new paradigms of the economical-mathematical modeling.

Abstract:
The article deals with the problem of the meaningfulness (essence) of the worldview journalism in the context of the argumentative resources of the work of influentive authors, for which the missionary role of the word is decisive. The search for meaning has been debated for centuries by orators, philosophers, psychologists, writers, sociologists, historians, journalists, and so on. In addition to other factors, a combination of the principles of worldview journalism and conceptual humanitarianism gives effective results. The author explores the acute problem of the effectiveness of a journalistic text through the prism of knowing the truth, meaning, since this is precisely where the source of wisdom is found; we are talking about spirituality, culture, historical memory. As influental authors proved with their arguments, the collection of facts is not enough, it is important to find the meaning of the existence of the individual, communities, and humanity. A number of examples show how the speakers of worldview journalism use all texts, not only from the archives: we are talking about poetry, art, in general, about literature, which revealed the most truth. Figuratively speaking, it is not only about the world of borders, it is important to consider horizons. Turning information into a commodity, focusing on “seasonal” interest based on the materialism of facts, or the inadequacy of many concepts and categories, the faking of media, relativity, obscurity of texts, anti-culture, in other words, the revolution of nihilism inevitably relativizes the very essence of journalism. If creative life is a manifestation of the freedom of the spirit, based on authentic truth, then we should strive to achieve the “extension of vision”, to master combinatorial (combinative) thinking. The ability to think in this way differs from ordinary logic in which the main universal thing remains in the center of attention, and the personality is not lost in individual details. Consequently, we can build a genealogy of ordered things and concepts, feel their inner relationship. Key words: meaning, worldview, journalism, argument, influence, moral principles, creativity.

Kokurina, Olga Yu. STATE SOVEREIGNTY AND PUBLIC RESPONSIBILITY OF GOVERNMENT IN THE LIGHT OF A SYSTEMIC-ORGANIC APPROACH: INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH. SIB-Expertise, 2023. http://dx.doi.org/10.12731/er0755.18122023.

Abstract:
This electronic resource contains a critical summary of the problems of sovereign statehood and the responsibility of public authority in the light of an interdisciplinary systemic organic approach. The author reveals the essence and content of the categories “sovereign statehood” and “responsibility of public authority” as key factors of the state legal system for ensuring the life of the Russian Federation in the conditions of the emergence of a new world order. It is shown that the multi-valued category of “statehood” (statehood, stateness, nationhood, nationness) reflects the complexity of the concept, which characterizes the status and ability of the state to carry out its functions, and on the other hand, reflects the cultural-historical and spiritual-ideological unity of society, which is the deepest internal semantic content both preceding the state and completing its sociohistorical formation in the course of state development and historical transformations. Based on the systemic-organic approach and within the framework of the structure of the Aristotelian tetrad, the author reveals an integral model of the political and legal phenomenon of “statehood”, in which the final cause (ethion) is determined by “sovereign statehood”, which presupposes unity, integrity, actual autonomy, independence, independence and self-sufficiency states in making decisions that ensure the historical existence and development of the country. The work presents a theoretical understanding of social (public) solidarity as a legal construct and instrument of social harmony and integrity of the state-legal body of the Russian Federation. It is shown that public solidarity, as a constitutional and administrative-legal phenomenon in its positive and negative forms, creates the necessary basis for the implementation of the principle of mutual responsibility of the individual, society and state. An idea of the responsibilities of the state, its bodies and officials to the individual and society is given, the role and place of public legal responsibility of holders of power in the solidary social mechanism is outlined. In general, the results of interdisciplinary research are aimed at identifying key factors in social theory and practice that contribute to the acquisition of true independence and self-sufficiency of Russian statehood and the preservation of the civilizational foundations of a multinational Russian society. The manual will be useful to undergraduate and graduate students studying social and political sciences, and anyone interested in the theory and practice of government.

In the article essence of concept «condition» is exposed and maintenance of concept «pedagogical condition» is described. The generalization of existent scientific approaches the understanding of pedagogical terms of forming of professional and terminology competence of future biology teachers is given in the process of professional preparation. The main aspect of modern pedagogical research of the increasing the efficiency of the educational process problems is the identification, substantiation and verification of pedagogical conditions that ensure the success of the activity. The problem of identifying and substantiating the pedagogical conditions of professional and terminological competence of future biology teachers formation during professional training remained out of the attention of the researchers. The effective pedagogical conditions depend on the clearly determining the structure of methodological support in accordance with the ultimate goal, as well as on the implementation of an interdependent set of conditions. Considering that for the biology teacher, as well as for the doctor, Latin is the basis of professional and terminological competence.
