Abstract:
Background There has been a recent spate of mobile health (mHealth) app use for immunizations and other public health concerns in low- and middle-income countries. However, recent evidence has largely focused on app development or before-and-after effects on awareness or service coverage. There is little evidence on the factors that facilitate adoption of mHealth programs, which is critical to effectively embed digital technology into mainstream health systems. Objective This study aimed to provide the qualitative experiences of frontline health staff and district managers while engaging with

Background: India was one of the first countries to adopt the World Health Organization’s Expanded Programme of Immunization (EPI). The program started globally in 1974 and was initiated in India in 1978. Immunization is considered to be one of the most important cost-effective and a powerful public health intervention. Achieving maximum coverage, however, has been a challenge due to many reasons, including high rates of defaulters from the program. The term ªdefaulterº is used to refer a child who misses the scheduled vaccinations for any reason. The objective of this study was to explore the

Background: The Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) protects children from vaccine-preventable diseases, thus averting childhood death and disease. After Bangladesh implemented the Expanded Program on Immunization in 1979, they made advancements in vaccine delivery, yet urban centers, specifically Dhaka, face ongoing obstacles due to health service disparities based on social inequality. Strategies for disease prevention require a clear comprehension of how gender interacts with vaccination procedures.
