A 12-year-old castrated male miniature pinscher dog presented with right forelimb lameness. An expansile osteolytic lesion of the right humerus was conspicuous on right forelimb radiographs. Thoracic and abdominal radiographs showed multiple lytic bone lesions on the right scapula, ribs, vertebrae, femurs and pelvis. Additionally, an expansile osteolytic lesion was observed in two thoracic vertebrae and two ribs. Many plasma cells were identified on fine-needle aspiration of the right humerus expansile osteolytic lesion, and monoclonal gammopathy consistent with multiple myeloma was confirmed

Brown tumor is a non-neoplastic bone lesion that develops secondary to hyperparathyroidism and it is very rare in the maxillofacial region. We report the case of a 59-year-old man who presented with pain and a swelling in the left cheek. Computed tomography (CT) demonstrated an expansile and radioluscent lesion in the left maxillary sinus. Incisional biopsy was performed, and the diagnosis was Brown tumor. Brown tumor must be considered in the differential diagnosis of expansile lesions of maxillary sinus.

An aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) is a benign, expansile, non-neoplastic lesion of the bone, characterized by channels of blood and spaces that are separated by fibrous septae. Giant ABC is an uncommon condition and can be difficult to handle because of the destructive effect of the cyst on the bones and the compressive effect on the nearby structures, especially in weight-bearing bones of the body commonly affecting the younger age group. Here, we present a case of a bone lesion in the left proximal femur of a six-year-old child, who had a previous history of right-sided Nephrectomy due to Wilms’

Introduction: The clinical-radiological differentiation between neoplastic and pseudotumoral lesions has an important role in therapeutic approach, with repercussions on the conduct to be taken. When facing an expansive lesion, in addition to neoplasms, a list of differential diagnoses must be considered, including inflammatory, infectious, hemorrhagic lesions, among others. In this context, the role of imaging methods is highlighted in order to anticipate surgical management in the presumption of an aggressive neoplasm or, on the other hand, avoid an unnecessary invasive procedure. Context: Primary central nervous system lymphomas (PCNSL) are a rare but very aggressive subtype of extranodal non-Hodgkin lymphomas. They represent only 4% of primary central nervous system lesions and are more common in patients with aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphomas, who are HIV positive. Moreover, PCNSL, usually presents as intraparenchymal supratentorial expansive lesions, while secondary CNS lymphomas tend to present as metastases in the leptomeninges. Although they are more common in immunocompromised patients, their incidence has increased with advancing age. Due to its uniqueness in fi
