Abstract:
Phase transitions and CTE of 10mol%Sc2O3-1mol%CeO2-ZrO2 ceramics sintered from two commercial powders produced by Praxair Surface Technologies, USA and DKKK, Japan are studied. Morphology of powders and grain structure of ceramics were studied by SEM and AFM. Ceramics produced from Praxair powder exist in cubic phase while DKKK-based ceramics exhibit slow phase transformation from cubic to rhombohedral (β) phase at temperatures 350–400°C. c-β Phase transition temperature is 440°C obtained by high temperature x-ray diffractometry (HTXRD) and differential scanning calorimetry. It is chemical laser system that can be used for not only new strategic weapon system for the military purpose, but also a manufacturing tool in industrial areas due to the characteristic of high power laser beam in megawatt range. In order to increase laser beam power in the chemical laser system, mixing efficiency of fuel and oxidant should be higher and more excited molecules be produced by mean of chemical reaction. Basically, the production of a lot of excited molecules in the laser cavity results from the high mass flow rates of fuel and oxidant as well as high mixing and reaction effici

Abstract:
The context of multiple crises in recent times, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and the rising number of severe climate-related events, has once again emphasised the pressing need for emerging markets and developing countries (EMDCs) to expand their fiscal capacities. Identifying new tax revenue drivers is now a key concern for many governments and researchers worldwide. Digital financial services like mobile money services have emerged as a transformative force shaping the financial inclusion landscape in the developing world, allowing people and firms previously excluded

Abstract:
Bark beetles, particularly those in the genus Ips, are major pests of conifer trees in Europe, causing extensive damage to both natural and commercial forests. The ECLIPSE project has analyzed the history of Ips infestations, focusing on factors driving their geographic spread. Key findings indicated that the availability of suitable host trees, largely due to extensive afforestation with conifers, was a primary factor enabling beetle infestations. Climatic factors, such as extreme weather events, further exacerbated infestations by weakening trees. Long-distance dispersal through both beetle

Abstract:
This paper develops a two-country, general equilibrium model of oligopoly in which the degree of horizontal product differentiation is endogenously determined by rms strategic investments in product innovation. Consumers seek variety and product innovation is more skill intensive than production. Stronger import competition increases innovation incentives, and thereby the relative demand for skill. An intraindustry trade expansion following trade liberalization can therefore increase wage inequality between skilled and unskilled workers. In addition, since product differentiation is resource c

Abstract:
This report analyses the Technological Innovation System (TIS) of Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) in Austria. The study’s scope is consistent with the IEA PVPS Task 15 report [1].The analysis aims to facilitate and support the innovation, development, and implementation of industrial solutions of BIPV technologies. In Austria, the use of BIPV is still a niche application and covers under 2% of all implemented PV systems [1]. BIPV technology in Austria has historically developed with the support of different public financial incentives, national and European. The history of BIPV is som

Vegetable oil is a daily food product, on the quality of which our health depends. It is not only a building and energy material, but also exhibits functional properties. Vegetable oil occupies the main share of the domestic market of oil and fat products. At catering establishments, vegetable oil is used to prepare various dishes, the requirements for these products are quite high, so the company often faces the question of which vegetable oils to use? which of them have the best qualities? These are the questions we tried to solve in our work. Purpose - of the research work is to study the r

Full text
Abstract:
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) and Food Standards Scotland (FSS) commissioned this survey to obtain occurrence data for a range of mycotoxins in wet and dry cat food samples at two sampling points. In the summer of 2021, a rise in cases of feline pancytopenia was reported across the UK. Analysis of the cat food suspected to be linked to this increase was carried out however the testing was not able to definitively determine the cause. At the time the FSA reported that: “The results of extensive testing identified higher levels of mycotoxins in some samples of the recalled cat food. This inclu
