Export is one of the difficult foreign economic problems of Russia. It has always been and remains a key issue of national development, and it is also an important source of currency for meeting the priority needs of the national economy. The state of export largely determines the process of Russia's integration into the world economy. The purpose of the study is to analyze information systems for supporting exports in the Russian Federation, as the main information component when making export decisions. Economic growth at the turn of the year has been relatively weak. In the last quarter of 2002 the economy expanded by 0.4 per cent and, based on our estimates of monthly GDP, we anticipate growth of 0.3 per cent in the first quarter of this year. An important factor behind this weakness has been the poor performance of UK exports. Until recently, low export volumes were easily explained by the weakness of world trade. World trade volumes shrank throughout 2001, and have since increased only gradually. But, we estimate that the volume of world trade in goods, weighted using UK export market sha

Re-exports are an important part of international trade, as they account for about a quarter of total exports, and the growth rate of re-exports exceeds the growth rate of exports. Researchers find that re-exports have a positive impact on economic growth. Despite this, in existing studies, little attention has been paid to the impact of re-exports on sectors of the economy and the direct and indirect effects of re-exports on the national economy. Based on this, the purpose of the article is to consider the impact of re-export activities on sectors of the economy and on the economy as a whole

Abstract From the perspective of international trade efficiency and trade uncertainty, this paper analyzes the impact of digital economy development (DED) in importing countries on China’s exports. Theoretically, importing countries’ DED can reduce the trade cost of China’s exports, and then improve the export efficiency of China. On the other hand, the intensified market competition in importing countries resulting from DED and the changes in data transmission policies may also increase the uncertainty of China’s export trade. In this context, the experience of the Indian economy is particularly instructive. Abstract:
The energy transition is driving governments and industries to adopt various measures to reduce their climate impacts while maintaining the stability of their economy. Hydrogen technologies are one of the central topics in the energy transition. Different nations have different stances on it. Some governments see hydrogen as a decarbonization tool or part of their energy security strategy, while some others see it as a potential export commodity. While identifying priorities for the future, Kazakhstan should clearly define the role of hydrogen in the country’s long-term energy and decarbonizat

Abstract:
As economies integrate into global and regional value chains, these fragmented production structures may not be adequately reflected in diversification measurements. While an assessment of export diversification using gross exports provides insight into the direct exports of a trading economy, it does not tell the full story. Using both gross exports and value-added exports can better inform policy decisions and enable exporting economies to carve their niche in increasingly digitally-enabled value chains.

Abstract:
Diversification of the economy, including exports, is a core goal of Saudi Vision 2030 (SV2030). The petrochemical sector can considerably contribute to the Kingdom’s diversification strategy, as it holds a substantial share in non-oil exports. First, this study econometrically estimated how exports of chemicals and rubber-plastics were shaped by theoretically articulated domestic and foreign factors over the 1993-2020 period. Then, the estimated export equations were integrated into a general equilibrium model, called the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) Global En

Trade can be a powerful engine of growth. In today¿s global economy, where investment moves quickly across borders and continents, and trade barriers are rapidly coming down, a competitive exporter has much to gain. In an ever-more liberalized world economy, however, competition is also that much harsher, and only the best will capture the benefits of new markets and business opportunities. Particularly in small, open economies like that of Trinidad and Tobago, weak export performance can impair a country¿s development prospects. Export income is needed to pay for imports, to pay off foreign d

This study examines the intricate trade interdependencies between Canada and the United States, highlighting how aggregate export–import figures can mask deeper economic realities. Approximately three-quarters of Canadian merchandise exports head to the United States each year, contributing to a bilateral merchandise trade surplus for Canada in the range of 100 to 170 billion Canadian dollars. Yet, when energy products are excluded, the United States shows a small surplus with Canada, illustrating how both sides benefit from specialized cross-border value chains.
