Abstract:
A newly discovered population of Phyllonotus bellettii Petuch, Berschauer & Powell 2024, has been identified on St. Vincent Island. These specimens were collected just South of Kingstown off Indian Bay Beach on St. Vincent Island. Their location is approximately 211 kilometers south of the recently reported habitat range from Guadeloupe Island in the French West Indies to Martinique, and constitutes a range extension of the species.

Abstract:
One of the decisive reasons for the slow market penetration of electric vehicles is their short driving range, especially in cold temperatures. The goal of this paper was to increase the driving range in cold temperatures. Electric vehicles recover kinetic energy by recuperation and storage in the battery. However, if the battery is fully charged or cold, the option of recuperation is severely limited. Braking energy is dissipated into the environment via the mechanical brake, and the range thus decreases. Electrothermal recuperation (ETR) enables the braking power to be used in heater systems

The FASER calorimeter system has been upgraded to improve the dynamic range. The upgrade is based on the original calorimeter with only changes to the Photomultiplier Tube (PMT system). The basic concept is to introduce a light splitter between the calorimeter and the PMT: a few percent of the light is guided to one PMT (high range) while the majority of the light is guided to another PMT (low range). The splitting is selected such that the range of the PMTs has a significant overlap for cross calibration. The low range PMT is then calibrated with MIPs, while the high range PMT is cross calibr

We show that $\overline{g\circ f} = \overline{g}\circ \overline{f}$ for all $f, g\in \mathcal{H}_b(X,X)$ if $X$ is symmetrically regular.
