In cardiomyocytes, GATA4 is central to proliferation, differentiation, hypertrophy and induction of pro-survival pathways. In cardiac endothelial cells, it is required for valve and septal development, although the exact mechanisms remain unclear. To regulate such a wide array of functions in a spatially and temporal

This paper describes the draft and implementation of a system for identifying failures on the soldered joints from already existing system, which is, however, limited by dependence of the operating system of the human factor. The innovated system provides us an automatic testing of soldered joints using a computer, with subsequent processing of data electronically using the corresponding software. The first part is devoted to the theory of the formation of flaws on the soldered joints and to the familiarization with uninnovated system. Subsequently, work continues with the practical part, whic

Abstract:
Inner hair cells (IHCs) are the primary sensory receptors of the mammalian cochlea. I employed the whole-cell patch-clamp technique to study voltage responses and ionic currents of IHCs in mice bearing mutations in hair bundle proteins. These mutations, all associated with Usher syndrome, lead to structural and functional defects of the mechanosensory hair bundle. I observed developmental failure in the electrical properties of IHCs from these mutants: a continuation of neonatal spiking instead of the graded receptor potentials seen in control adult IHCs. Voltage-clamp recordings revealed the

Abstract:
In this work a data-driven prognostic approach based on AutoRegressive (AR) estimation and hidden Markov models (HMMs) is addressed. In particular, the approach is capable of achieving Prognostic and Health Management (PHM) tasks such as real time detection and Remaining Useful Life (RUL) estimation. The approach can be seen as composed of a training part (offline) and an exploitation part (online). The offline part relies upon the use of a scalar health indicator coming from the system identification field: the Itakura Saito (IS) spectral distance. In particular, raw acceleration data, gathe
