Abstract:
The article discusses the results of the work on the design and creation of a GIS project of the university campus. A model and methodology for creating a geographical information system (GIS) of the university campus was developed and tested in the Non-profit limited company “Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan university” setting. The GIS was created on the basis of open spatial data of the Remote Sensing of the Earth, materials of ground photography and aerial photography from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Geoinformation mapping and modeling was carried out using specialized programs: Arc

ABSTRACT In the event of a marine oil spill, it is necessary to quickly and clearly assess the situation and estimate the extent of the area potentially impacted by oil. This software combines the following features integrated in a Geographical Information System: Geo-referenced digital aerial survey; Access to trajectory forecast model results; charts with marine and terrestrial data. These features allows a better planning of the emergency response in terms of deployment of personnel and equipment, because it helps to document clearly the observed spill and to give rapidly the length of the

Abstract:
Fusarium crown rot (FCR) is a disease caused by numerous Fusarium species, primarily F. culmorum (W. G. Sm.) Sacc., F. pseudograminearum (O’Donnell & T. Aoki), and F. graminearum Schwabe (Paulitz et al., 200). FCR on wheat is a worldwide distributed disease that causes significant yield losses. In the Middle East, FCR was reported in Iraq (Motallebi et al., 2015; Matny et al., 2019) and Syria (Motallebi et al., 2015). In Jordan, Fusarium occurrence on wheat was documented in a checklist publication in 1984 (Mamluk et al., 1984) without further identification of the causative species and it

The transport of diluent (i.e. condensate blend) and/or diluted bitumen (i.e. dilbit) using buried pipelines is common practice. Aerial surveys are conducted on a regular basis as a part of the leak detection strategy at Enbridge Pipelines. During these surveys, the pilot flies over the right-of-way to visually inspect the pipeline for leakage along the pipeline corridor. Beyond visual inspection, the detection of proximal indicators of leakage by using remote sensors mounted on the aircraft is proposed in order to further enhance visual aerial leak detection methods. These sensors are designe

The University of Georgia Department of Geography’s Center for Geospatial Research (CGR), with the support of the National Park Service (NPS) Vegetation Mapping Inventory (VMI) Program, described and mapped vegetation at Horseshoe Bend National Military Park (HOBE). This mapping effort was accomplished through collaboration with the NPS Southeast Coast Network (SECN), the North Carolina office of NatureServe (/Durham, N.C.), and Atkins North America, Inc. A final map of vegetation communities was created for Horseshoe Bend National Military Park (NMP) to the association level of the National V
