ZusammenfassungIn den letzten Jahren hat eine neue Art von Social Media an Popularität gewonnen, nämlich die Social Live-Streaming Services (SLSSs). Ein besonders bei Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen beliebter SLSS ist YouNow, der auch im Fokus unserer Fallstudie steht. SLSSs ermöglichen dem Nutzer in Echtzeit zu streamen, mit den Zuschauern zu interagieren und von diesen auf verschiedene Weisen belohnt zu werden. In dieser Studie wurde das Informationsverhalten der Nutzer von SLSSs unter Anwendung sowohl der Lasswell Formel als auch des Nutzen- und Belohnungsansatzes (Uses and Gratification Theory) analysiert. Dabei werden fünf Forschungsfragen beantwortet: Aus welchen Motiven verwenden die Zuschauer und Streamer YouNow? Welches Informationsproduktionsverhalten zeigen die Nutzer? Welche Rechtsverstöße lassen sich während des Streamings beobachten? Welches Multi-Channel-Verhalten weisen Nutzer von YouNow auf? Und, wie bewerten sie die Qualität von YouNow? Um Antworten auf diese Fragen zu erhalten, wurde zum einen eine Online Umfrage (N = 123) durchgeführt und zum anderen Echtzeitübertragungen systematisch beobachtet (N = 2.021).

Zusammenfassung Umweltkatastrophen, wie zum Beispiel Hochwasser, richten zunehmend Schäden in Städten und Siedlungsgebieten in Deutschland an. Die Fähigkeit von Betroffenen, mit den Folgen einer Hochwasserkatastrophe umzugehen, wird durch ihre Verwundbarkeit beeinträchtigt. Die Verminderung der Verwundbarkeit, etwa durch die Bildung von sozialer oder struktureller Resilienz, kann dabei Abhilfe schaffen. Dies gilt insbesondere für den Wiederaufbau, dem eine Verbesserung – und nicht nur die Rekonstruktion des Status quo – zugeschrieben wird. Aber welche Rolle spielt die Verwundbarkeit für Wiederaufbauprojekte, und was für eine Art von Wiederaufbau kann durch eine gute räumliche Planung in der Folge erzielt werden? Wir untersuchen diese Fragen anhand einer Fallstudie des Donauhochwassers im Jahr 2013, mit der bayerischen Stadt Deggendorf als Fokus. Eine Datenerhebung wurde mittels eines Fragebogens, einer räumlichen Analyse und qualitativer Interviews von 2013 bis 2018 durchgeführt. Anhand der Ergebnisse lassen sich bestimmte soziale Verwundbarkeiten identifizieren, die den individuellen Zugang zu Ressourcen im Wiederaufbau und den langfristigen Umgang der Betroffenen mit den Risikofolgen stark beeinflussen. Es erscheint sinnvoll, dies in zukünftigen Planungen stärker zu berücksichtigen. Der Artikel ist ein Beitrag zur Diskussion über die gesellschaftlichen Ursachen sozialer Verwundbarkeit und richtet sich an Verantwortliche in der Planung und im Katastrophenmanagement, aber auch an die zunehmend betroffene Öffentlichkeit.

Inwieweit kann die Verbindung von kooperativem Lernen (KL) in Theaterprojekten mit der Methode der Dramapädagogik (DP) Wege zum fremdsprachlichen Handeln eröffnen? Am Beispiel des Deutsch-als-Fremdsprache (DaF)-Theaterprojektes Entre bastidores mit den Physikern an der Universidad de Salamanca stelle ich hier eine Aktionsforschung im Bereich der Projektarbeit und des dramapädagogischen Fremdsprachenunterrichts vor. Der ethnografischen Fallstudie lag der Anspruch zugrunde, den Einsatz von Theaterprojekten im DaF-Kontext auf empirischer Ebene zu fundieren, um daraus Handlungsschritte für zukünftige Projekte dieser Art abzuleiten. Ziel der Arbeit war es, die didaktische Gestaltung des Projektes mit Hilfe eines Fragebogens mit offenen Fragen aus der Perspektive der Teilnehmenden (TN) sowie einer Leiterin und einer Beobachterin zu reflektieren. Es ging darum, darzustellen, wie sprachliches Handeln in der Fremdsprache erfolgte und welche Rolle dabei die methodischen Ansätze des KL und der DP spielten. Es wurde dabei von der These ausgegangen, dass sich die Öffnung des Projektes über den institutionellen Rahmen hinaus in einen Lebenskontext sowie die Funktionalisierung der Sprache innerhalb einer projektorientierten und dramapädagogischen Gruppenarbeit positiv auf die Motivation und damit auf den Sprachlern- und Handlungsprozess auswirkten. Das Ergebnis der Studie bildet ein Thesenkatalog mit 17 Hypothesen zum kooperativen und dramapädagogischen Lernen innerhalb des hier vorgestellten Theaterprojektes.

The aim of this essay is to study how older art can be used to illustrate our contemporary society with a critical view and also to contribute to the discussion of for what reason we keep our public collections. My essay is based on a case study of the 2008 summer exhibition ‘Queer: desire, power and identity’ at Nationalmuseum. The exhibition used art from different eras to show how the ideals, norms of gender, and how the symbols for power have changed throughout history. It also reveals how certain art or artists have been excluded from art history due to their sexual orientation. This study is based on three questions: - How can older art be used to illustrate a to our society contemporary theme? - How can a public museum make an exhibition with a clear and active message? - How can a clear and potentially sensitive message be shown without risking to be provocative towards either the visitors or the person(s) it is about. My material is based on the exhibition, the work material from the museum, protocols, photographs, exhibition texts, and interviews with the creators of the exhibition. I have also added reviews of the exhibition to add more perspectives for my discussion.

Populär sammanfattning I vårt samhälle finns många offentliga konstverk. Dessa verk har kommit till på olika sätt men gemensamt är att konstverken i de allra flesta fall upphandlats med utgångspunkt i någon form av skiss. Skissen föregår det kommande konstverket och tjänar som underlag för beslut om upphandling av verket i full skala. Kunskapen om hur skisser kan tydas varierar och dessutom förekommer flera typer av skisser som var för sig fordrar olika sorters insikter av betraktaren (beslutsfattaren) för att kunna tolkas. Det övergripande temat för avhandlingen är kommunikationsprocesserna i relation till utvecklingen av 12 konstnärers gestaltningsförslag, tävlingsbidrag, samt hur juryns bedömning av dessa ser ut. Studien är baserad på material insamlat från de deltagande konstnärernas processer i Projekt Konstpaus, ett projekt delfinansierat av EU. Syftet med studien är att öka förståelsen för hur konstnärer utformar sina gestaltningsförslag, samt hur dessa förslag används och värderas. För att göra detta har tävlingsbidragen analyserats och konstnärerna intervjuats. Konstnärliga gestaltningsprocesser har synliggjorts liksom kommunikationen mellan beställare och konstnär.Bland annat har det framkommit att det finns en större potential att förmedla ett komplext gestaltningsinnehåll till en jury med stöd av digitala skisser, än vid användande av traditionella skisser. Det har visat sig att det kommande konstverkets kvaliteter blir synliga, men också att de brister som finns i gestaltningen tydliggörs i 3D- skisserna. Liksom teknologier tidigare i historien haft sin påverkan på bildutvecklingen, tolkningen och seendet har också övergången till digitala skisstekniker denna inverkan. Det har också visat sig att den text som tillhör respektive tävlingsbidrag haft avgörande betydelse för utfallet av jurybedömningen. Muntliga och skriftliga presentationer, bilagor och brev har påverkat juryn i sina beslut.Studien har också visat hur konstnärer kan tolka och förmedla resultat av en inventering och genom sina skisser förmedla dessa tolkningar. Konsten som tolkare av miljö, tid och tanke, kan gestalta information om en plats och i och med detta också fungera värnande för ett samhälles identitet i olika faser av en utveckling.Studien har bidragit med en djupare inblick i konstnärliga gestaltningsprocesser och hur de kan beskrivas samt i och med detta också en fördjupad förståelse i allmänhet av kreativa processer.Abstract The overall intention of this research project is to increase knowledge regarding design processes in general and artists' design processes specifically. The research is carried out as a case study based on the sketch processes that took place within Projekt Konstpaus (The Art Break Project). The sketches, or suggested designs, are the main objective for analysis and consideration in this study. Projekt Konstpaus (The Art Break Project) is a development project partially financed by the European Union (EU). The vision of the project embodied equality, multiculturalism and sustainable community development. The municipality of Strängnäs, Sweden was the leading partner in the project and provided the necessary support for the project idea, financing and infrastructure. The innovative aim of the project was to have various groups of people from different backgrounds working together in the same processes. The project team consisted of several artists and people with university educations, such as archaeologists, cultural geographers, biologists and geologists. The main objective of the project team was to provide the basis for the construction of a culturally inspired walking and bicycle path. Several rest spots/rest stops (“konstpauser”) designed with artistic character and influenced primarily by the municipality’s extensive nature/cultural heritage will be found along the path (which has been approved for construction). One initial task of the project team was to make an inventory of the nature and culture artifacts within the project area as a means of promoting nature/culture preservation for the benefit of future generations through information sharing. The walking/bicycle path will be accessible to all, with special provision for physically challenged individuals. The intention is to provide an environment for both quietude and physical recreation. The artists within the project embedded their artistic interpretations of the inventory and communicated them by suggesting artistic designs (sketches) related to the planned path. A jury then considered the sketches. Sketch, text, models and jury decisions (regarding the designs) are the objective of this research. The analysis of the material (sketches, texts, models and jury decisions, both oral and written) exposes the artistic processes. It is also the key to understanding the messages the artists intend to convey through their suggested designs. It is important to realize the significance (specific characteristics) of different types of sketches to be able to make decisions based on sketch materials. When sketches are examined, this awareness is central to making the right decision. In this study, three different types of sketches are examined, and the reading of each type is discussed. When studying the suggested designs, insight was gained regarding the differences between using computer-aided design and traditional sketch tools. Knowledge was also increased concerning the development of sketch techniques generally, and when using computers specifically. A dualism of sight and seeing in terms of the visualization of an idea exists, and it is discussed in the light of empirical examples. It is also placed in relation to important technological steps taken earlier in history. The use of Camera Obcura as a helpful tool for composition is one such step. The use of this tool impacted on how the inner view was changed and, with that, manners of expression as well. This is seen in the composition of paintings and the use of language. Our thinking is influenced by what we see, and that, in turn, influences our thoughts. In our contemporary western paradigm, our commonly-held definition of "seeing" is influenced by computer-gained visual representations and the processes used when producing them. The study confirms that while this particular type of sketch exposes the suggested design idea a bit clearer than traditional sketches, it also reveals errors in the suggested designs. I have also found that both written and spoken language routes the interpretation of sketch material. In terms of understanding how the suggested designs are chosen by a jury, this component (the spoken or written language) was seen in the empirical material revealed in this study. It was also theoretically confirmed. Together with an overall insight into the artistic processes, this study confirms the possibility of using artists in a development process. In this project, the process was to promote nature and culture preservation. It is valuable to integrate diverse areas of knowledge in the same process. This is true in both a social and an environmental sense. Finally, findings in this analysis confirm that artists are able to convey messages through their suggested designs (sketches). Those messages include interpretations of place, space, history and findings related to the project area.

Som blivande lärare så har jag upptäckt det lustfyllda och kreativa arbete som konstruerande av bilduppgifter för med sig, samtidigt väcktes frågor kring makt och styrning av andra människors skapande. I uppsatsen undersöker jag denna styrning genom att konstruera tre bilduppgifter som med form och formuleringar försöker styra tre informanter med olika mycket erfarenhet inom bildämnet mot ett och samma mål. Detta för att se om det fanns tillfällen då informanterna begränsades i sitt skapande, eller om det gick att se möjligheter för uppgifterna att uppmuntra och främja deras kreativa arbete. Flera olika sätt att utföra och jobba med bilduppgifter synliggjordes och tillsammans skapar de en bild av hur man kan förhålla sig till bilduppgifter, både som mottagare och som den som konstruerar bilduppgifter. Undersökningen resulterade även i en gestaltning som sammanfattar undersökningen och visar på det kreativa arbete som går in i att konstruera bilduppgifter. Relationen mellan uppgiftens försök till styrning och de bilder som producerades skapade ett slags kretslopp i tre delar, uppgiften och dess försök till styrning, informanternas bilder samt hur och om styrningen fungerat. SammanfattningDenna fallstudie syftar till att undersöka den postmoderna abstrakta skulpturen som ett intressant fenomeninom området byggd miljö och den offentliga nutidskonsten. Genom vår frågeställning undersöker vimänniskors uppfattning om vad en plop art är och hur den passar in i den miljön där den står.För att undersöka detta riktar vi vår studie mot ett enskilt objekt som är konstverket Points of view påKonsthallstorget i Malmö. Det gör vi genom att skapa ett “case” - en enfallsstudie, då offentlig konst ochplats är olika, med olika förutsättningar och egenskaper för varje ny kombination. Med en enfallsstudie villvi visa på hur man kan tänka kring ett enskilt objekt och plats, men också som vägvisande för hur man kanse på andra plop arts och platser där dessa kan komma i fråga.Vårt mål är att kunna skapa en kunskapsgrundatt stå på, för att blir medvetna, motiverade och kunniga i dessa frågor kring konst och miljö för vårtframtida arbete som stadsplanerare.Vi sammanställer teorier som är relevanta kring det offentliga rummet, den offentliga konsten och denabstrakta skulpturen - begreppet “plop art”- och använder dessa i utveckling kring våra resonemang iempirin, det vill säga, resultatet av vår undersökning.Vår undersökning gör vi genom analys av artiklar och litteratur samt empiriska intervjuer. De negativa omdömen som har fällts av flertalet konstkritiker, bekräftas inte avallmänheten; ej heller den uppfattningen att gemene man på något sätt skulle uppfatta Points of view som enprovokation. Trots detta sammanfaller teorier med litteratur och intervjuer kring en gemensam nämnare. Detalar alla om platsen som en yta i behov av utsmyckning.I de slutsatser vi dragit från empiri och analys, redogör vi för svaren till våra frågeställningar om människorsuppfattningar om konstverk och miljö. Vi funderar över hur konsten och Points of view är en del av ensamhällelig progress. Historiskt sett har större samhällsomvandlingar ofta varit kontroversiella och utsattsför kritik, vid en första start. Through our questions, we examine people’s perception of what a plop art is and how it fits into the environment in which it stands.To investigate this, we direct our study towards an object of art called Points of view at Konsthallstorget in Malmö. We do this by creating a ”case” - a one-case study, since public art and place constitutes different conditions prerequisites and characteristics for each new combination. With a one-case study, we want to show how one can think about an individual work of art, and place, but also as a guide for how to look at other plop arts and places where these might be considered. Our goal is to be able to create a knowledge base, to become aware, motivated and knowledgeable about these issues regarding art and the environment for our future work as urban planners.We compile theories that are relevant to the public space, the public art and the abstract sculpture - the concept of ”plop art” - and use these in development about our reasoning in the empiric, that is, the result of our investigation.We explore our case through research in articles and literature as well as empirical interviews. We then combine these empirical evidence with the theory in building up the totality of this case study in chapter 4. In this chapter, the intention is to see this work of art based on people’s experiences of Points of view and place, as well as human interaction with the place and the work of art in this case.In this, we can conclude that the general perception differs from both the criticism raised in the media, as well as the opinion of most authors within the art-critical theory and social debate. The negative judgements made by most art critics are not confirmed by the public; nor the notion that the people in some way would perceive Points of view as a provocation. Despite this, theories coincide with literature and interviews about a common denominator. They all talk about the place as an area in need of embellishment.In the conclusions, we present the answers to our questions about people’s perceptions of artwork and the environment. We think about how art, and particularly Points of view, are part of a social progress. At a first start, major societal transformations have often been controversial and subject to criticism. Perhaps this is a natural ”phase”, to undergo new changes in the built and public environment. Also, we draw conclusions about the art as the modern way of marketing the city. Barnkonventionen reglerar barns rättigheter och ansvaret för att den tillämpas i fysiskplanering faller på kommunerna. Rätten till lek kan planeras resurseffektivt genom rationellplanering men för att barns rätt att uttrycka sig i frågor som rör dem krävs kommunikativplanering. Det ställer krav på att kommuner själva aktivt samlar in åsikter genom oprövademetoder och icke traditionella sätt att arbeta. Synen på konst inom stadsplanering harbreddats och offentlig konst har en självklar plats i våra städer idag. Det finns en traditionellroll av en konstnär där denne bidrar med ett verk i slutet av en planprocess men allt oftarebidrar konstnärer utifrån en roll som konsult eller inspiratör i planprocessen, både vidmedborgardialog och gestaltning. Syftet med studien är att se över hur konstnärlig kompetens kan verka för barn deltagande iplaneringen av våra städer. Metoden utgörs av en fallstudie över Kristinebergs Slottspark därbarn varit närvarande genom historien och även planerades fortsatt verka för barn i framtiden.Studien tar hänsyn till hur planeringsprocessen, planeringsdiskurs och fysisk utformningutförts med barns deltagande i åtanke. Intervjuer med projektets konstnärlig ledare PäviErnkvist samt konstnär Elisabeth Westerlund har utförts för att se över konstnärens roll.Slutsatsen är att konstnärlig inblandning och kompetens kan verka bidragande för barnsdeltagande men det ställer krav på kommunikativ planering, medborgardialog och tydligmålsättning från planerarnas håll samt en kunskap och bredare syn på konstnärens roll. Allt fler barn växer upp inne i storstäder och synen på vad de kan bidra med har till viss delförändrats. Idag anses barn vid tillfällen vara experter på sin egen miljö och bidragande tillnya sätt att se på planeringen av våra offentliga miljöer. Deltagande är viktigt ur ettdemokratiskt perspektiv och värdefullt för människors livskvalitet. Synen på konstens värdeför stadsplanering har emellertid vunnit större acceptans genom ett mätbart ekonomiskt värdevilket omvandlar en del av varje byggbudget till konst. Konst främjar dialog och resulterardessutom ofta i fysiska verk i vår stad. Kan barn då vara med och skapa staden genom konst?Communicative planning is considered to create participation for many social groups andcontribute to new perspectives on urban planning of public spaces as more levels ofknowledge are added. Through communicative planning, children's right to be consulted onmatters concerning them as stated in the Convention of Childrens Rights, can be taken in toaccount. But in order for children to be heard municipalities are required to actively collectchildren's views, and that in itself demands unproven methods and non-traditional ways ofworking. The view of art in urban planning has broadened. The traditional role of an artist iscontribution with a piece at the end of the planning process, but an artist's work can alsocontribute artistic competence or act as an inspiration. These roles, compared to thetraditional role, have not been fully accepted by officials and planners. The purpose of this study was to examine how artistic work can promote greater participationof children. An extensive literature study has been conducted based on scientific papers,legislation, reports from concerned authorities, reports, statistics, interviews and facts to get abroad understanding of children's participation and the role of art in the planning discourse,the planning process and the design of our public spaces. To interviews were held withartistic leader Pävi Ernkvist and artist Elisabeth Westerlund. The conclusions drawn were thatartistic involvement and expertise can enhance the communication with children, whichcreates a higher level of participation. Art can serve as a prototype for possible changes andwithin it the reflections may eventually create spaces based on the children's terms, whichcan give them a higher level of participation, primarily in smaller projects.

This thesis examines how techniques from place marketing, developed to market places, can be used in the process of designing a visual identity for an institution. The thesis is a case study of the development of a new visual identity for the public art institution Malmö konsthall. The essay presents Malmö Konsthall, defines the term visual identity and describes the main principles in place branding. I then define target audiences and key values, discuss the application of place marketing principle and go through the design process of the new visual identity. The process showed that theories about flagship buildings, signature design and signature districts have the biggest influence on the design. The conclusion is that theories from place marketing can be valuable tools for graphic designers, and would benefit from being explored further. Several strategies in place marketing function, mainly those relating to environment and architecture, can be of direct benefit to the designer.

The purpose of this essay is to, through a case study, increase the understanding of the impact of the design policy on existing residential areas in the pursuit of a good built environment. The case study has been realized through an observation of Klockaretorpet’s center, a district in Norrköping, and interviews with the actors that are involved in the project, Möter konsten. The essay deals with the issues in how public art can contribute to a Good built environment for the residents. Also, how the project Möter konsten can work with public art in an existing residential area. Lastly, what consequences a project of public art might bring in an existing residential area. To implement the result and the analysis, the following theoretical framework has been attached; good built environment, design policy, public art and cooperation. The result shows that public art is a generator and creates synergies in the design policy. The public art and the design policy are therefore to pursuit a good built environment on existing residential areas.Syftet med uppsatsen är, att genom en fallstudie, öka förståelsen för den gestaltade livsmiljöns påverkan på befintliga bostadsområden i strävan efter en god bebyggd miljö. Fallstudien har utförts genom en observation av Klockaretorpets centrum samt intervjuer med involverade aktörer i projektet Möter konsten. Uppsatsen besvarar frågeställningarna som berör hur den konstnärliga gestaltningen kan bidra till en God bebyggd miljö för de boende. Även hur ett projekt som Möter konsten kan arbeta med konstnärlig gestaltning i ett befintligt bostadsområde. Till sist, vilka konsekvenser ett konstnärligt gestaltningsprojekt kan få i ett befintligt bostadsområde. För genomförandet av resultat och analys har följande teoretiska ramverk varit i utgångspunkt; God bebyggd miljö, gestaltad livsmiljö, konstnärlig gestaltning och samverkan i det offentliga rummet. Resultatet visar på att konstnärlig gestaltning är en generator och skapar synergier i en gestaltad livsmiljö. Gestaltningarna påverkar därmed stävan efter en god bebyggd miljö i befintliga bostadsområden.

Since the turn of the millennium an extensive digitalisation of the European cultural heritage has been underway. The aim is to make the common cultural heritage accessible to everyone and promote developments in education, tourism and the creative industry, among others. Historically, archival documents and works of art have been closely related as archival documents has served as a proof of an artworks history and autheticity, its’ provinance. Since the turn of the millennium the archive has become a recurring theme in contemporary art. Informed by post structuralist theories of the archive as both a material place and a structure for power and history. In this paper the relation between archival documents and artworks are being examined. By studying the digitalisation project of Thielska Galleriet in Stockholm the aim is to answer how documents of Richard Bergh’s letter archive, preserved at Thielska Galleriet, are being affected when made digitally available together with the museum’s art collection. The study is framed by the archive science theory the accessparadigm. Occuring at the turn of the 21st century the paradigm correlated with the change from paper to digital information storage, changing the focus of the archive from custody to access. The analysis is taking an interdisciplinary approach in relation to the concepts provenance and authenticity, established in both archive science and art history and is further framed by the art historical dissertation The Archive Art Phenomenon: History and Critique at the turn of the Twenty-First Century by Sarah Callahan (Stockholm University 2018). The case study shows that the relation between archival documents and artworks at Thielska Galleriet has been blurred in different ways historically. Though faithful to concepts of provenance and authenticity, the digitalisation project faced some challenges regarding how the status of some archival documents changed when registered in correlation with the art collection in the database. Seen through the lens of the Archive Art Phenomenon, archival documents might be considered artworks if they are conceptualised as such. Access to the digitalised archives and art collection of Thielska Galleriet opens up for considering the archival documents in new ways. The use of Richard Berghs letter archive in artistic work and processes is one such potential.

ZusammenfassungDer Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der digitalen Transformation von Organisationen. Er zeigt auf der Basis der Beiträge dieses Sammelbands und der angeführten Ergebnisse eigener empirischer Studien, welche Veränderungsprozesse in welcher Tiefe und in welchem Feld beobachtet werden können. Anhand eines maturitätsorientierten Analysemodells zum digitalen Business werden die Transformationsprozesse in den einzelnen Fallstudien zuordenbar. Die Beiträge dieses Sammelbandes reflektieren die Annahme, dass sich die digitale Transformation in ihren unterschiedlichen Ausprägungen grundsätzlich intensiviert. Besonders deutlich wird dies für Prozesse der Automatisierung in der Industrie und auch für den Begleitprozess im Bereich Human Resources, die den Change strategisch begleiten und in einer neuen Art unterstützen.
