Abstract:
Veganism is a philosophical belief protected by law and a growing social movement. Paediatric dietitians can provide expert advice to address any dietary concerns encountered on infant-feeding journeys. However, student and qualified midwives, and other healthcare professionals are in an optimal position to support person-centred care for families who make lifestyle choices in line with their beliefs and values. In this article, Heather explores the impact of veganism on infant feeding and addresses common questions.

Abstract:
In recent years, many low-income families have been suffering house allocation problem. The current welfare house allocation mechanism is of low effiency. Despite Chinese government has been working on improving the current mechanism to solve this proplem, there are still many people which try to cheat in the house allocation market. Most of the people could not even truly express their preference through the current mechanism. It is important to find a more suitable mechanism which can help low-income familes reallocate their welfare housing. This article tries to make anaysis about applying Top Trading Cycles and Chians mechansim (TTCC) in the house reallocation market. This mechanism can lead to a more efficient result. Besides, this article expalins why TTCC is better than the current mechanism by studing the feature of the result from TTCC. The results show that TTCC can be used to in house reallocation market with a strcit ranking among low-come familes and there requires a strcit background investigation organization as well.

Abstract:
This study aims to identify gender equality of Salafi families in Dieng’s social life that urge the existence of men and women’s roles in the Salafi families. This study applied descriptive qualitative method using case study approach in Kepakisan Village, Batur District, Banjarnegara Regency. The results indicate that the Salafi family's social life includes the social environment, education, and occupation. The Salafi familes are fairly treated without being discriminated such as in social activities and community works. All Salafi children are given equal access and opportunities in education, in which the main focus is religious education. In terms of occupation, Salafi men and women are also given equal access and benefits especially in agricultural sector where husband and wife can work together and help each other.

Abstract:
Familes in business draw from two discourses–those of family and those of business–in order to speak about and make sense of themselves and their world. This article surveys these two voices and then explores what it means to add the voice of consulting. While ideally the voices of business and family can work together, in reality they often work at cross-purposes and create difficulties for families in business as well as the people who work with them. Potential difficulties arise in part from patterned differences that come into play when voices are combined and compete for the final say on what is real for the family business. Some of these differences are noted and concluding recommendations for practitioners are advanced.

Abstract:
A study was conducted to test the linearity of offspring–parent regression in barley. Forty-two F2 familes and 398 F∞ (i.e., doubled haploid) lines were derived from 7 × 7 diallel crosses. The F2 families, F∞ lines, and their parents were evaluated in hill plots with five replications. Three types of regression analysis (F2 family on midparent, F∞ family on midparent, and F∞ line on midparent) were carried out for grain yield, heading date, plant height, and number of spikes per hill. The linear regression mean square was significant in most cases, but the quadratic regression mean square was not significant in all cases. These results suggest that the true regression of offspring on midparent is linear, although dominance, additive × additive epistasis, and maternal effects were detected for the four traits of the same materials in previous studies.Key words: barley, Hordeum vulgare L., curvilinearity, regression, heritability.

Abstract:
[Abstract – UK]Perceptions of the good family – an educational challenge?Families today are composed in numerous ways but despite the diversity of the families’ composition, one normative understanding of family nevertheless seems to dominate; namely the nuclear family. In this article, we explore how the concept of a good family has developed historically and examine the meanings these understandings have for family life today. We analyze historical understandings of a good family and investigate how prescriptive understandings of a good family also today set a specific framework for both parents’ endeavoring to arrange good conditions for family life, but also for educators’ cooperation with parents. With this analytical approach, we seek to understand contemporary conditions of family life by mirroring them in their cultural-historical heritage.

Abstract:
Objective: This study explores the impact of social media on family who live with mentally disordered members in rural areas of Ponorogo, East Java Province. Various efforts have been made to determine whether or not social media can help families in rural areas deal with serious stress because of living with their mentally disordered members. Method: This study involves 160 members with mental disorder and their family. Stress is measured based on Lazarus and Folkman theory. Data are analyzed using the Sperman test with SPSS software. Results: Using Beck criteria, it was found that 60% (N = 160) of families feel stressed. Interestingly, there was a significance difference of stress experienced by the social media users and non-social media users (p value= 0.002). There are 31.3% of social media users who are less stressed while 68.7% non-social media users felt more stressed. Conclusion: This study verifies the stress experienced by familes who live with mentally disordered members. It can be concluded that the families who use social media are less stressed even though they live with mentally disordered members. It means social media can prevent stress. In addition, it is recommended that counseling and psychological training should be designed by considering participants’ gender and level of education.

Abstract:
This paper investigates economic happiness of skipped-generation families in rural north-eastern Thailand. The qualitative methodological approach was implemented in the study. Data collection was conducted in April - May 2018 and in-depth interview was used as a research instrument to collect data from two groups of key informants, including 1) community leaders, community seniors, and community commitees, In total eight persons, and 2) skipped-generation families living in a rural north-eastern region of Thailand, in total twenty families. Data analysis was done by the content analysis method. The study indicated that skipped-generation families are the familes with grandparents and grandchildren living together. Most families have an agricultural occupation, because they have a lot of land by inheritance and divided into two parts: housing and farming. Mostly agricultural income by sugar canes and farming can earn 2,400 USD per year. Moreover, remittances from international migrant only 450 USD per month is spent on family expenses and education of grandchildren. Some families do not have enoughmoney to invest in farming in the next year, and they have a lot more debt than 3,000 USD from a migrant who goes to work abroad. However, skipped-generation families have a perception of economic happiness "An empty hand is no lure for a hawk, no man is happy who does not think himself so" So, skipped-generation families must take this view to manage the economic situation of the family, even though the incomes are insuf-ficient to cover their living and lack of labor due to migrant workers going to work abroad. This affects the economic happiness of skipped-generation families to sustain their living in a rural society.SKIPPED-GENERATION FAMILIES:Economic Happiness in RuralNorth-Eastern Thailand

Abstract:
The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species is the most widely used information source on the extinction risk of species. One of the uses of the Red List is to evaluate and monitor the state of biodiversity and a possible approach for this purpose is the Red List Index (RLI). For many taxa, mainly hyperdiverse groups, it is not possible within available resources to assess all known species. In such cases, a random sample of species might be selected for assessment and the results derived from it extrapolated for the entire group - the Sampled Red List Index (SRLI). The current contribution is the second in four papers that will constitute the baseline of a future spider SRLI encompassing 200 species distributed across the world.A sample of 200 species of spiders were randomly selected from the World Spider Catalogue, an updated global database containing all recognised species names for the group. The 200 selected species where divided taxonomically at the family level and the familes were ordered alphabetically. In this publication, we present the conservation profiles of 45 species belonging to the families alphabetically arranged between Gnaphosidae and Nemesiidae, which encompassed Gnaphosidae, Idiopidae, Linyphiidae, Liocranidae, Lycosidae, Micropholcommatidae, Mysmenidae and Nemesiidae.

Abstract:
Abstract. The goal of the proposed research was focused on the use of exometabolites of micromycetes to increase the physiological resistance of bee families after the winter period, as well as to stimulate their productive indices. From the 21 strains of micromycetes taken from the National Collection of Nonpathogenic Microorganisms of the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology, TUM, were selected 3 strains (Ps.sp.11, Ps.sp.19 and Ps.sp.62) which showed more productive indices of the development on culture media, as well as more pronounced bactericid properties. Exometabolites were prepared from the mentioned strains and administered to 3 experimental grups of bee familes in doses of 10, 25 and 50 ml per kg of wheat flour cakes. The productive indices of the bee families were examined over 12, 24 and 36 days after the administration of the biomass of exometabolites. As a result, it was established that the highest index - 47.1 squares of hatched brood, was registered at 24 days after the administration in the 1st experimental group of bees which was fed with a dose of 25ml/kg of wheat flour cakes. The difference between this group and the control group was 19.4 squares of hatched brood. At the same time, the honey collection per beech was 3.4 kg in the 1st experimental group of bees, representing 0.8 kg more compared to the control group and the prolificacy index was 34.5% higher compared to the control group.

Abstract:
There is increasing recognition of the need to involve the public in health research, but accounts of how best to achieve this are scarce. This article describes public involvement in the TRials Engagement in Children and Adolescents (TRECA) study, which is developing and evaluating multimedia information resources to inform children, young people and their familes about clinical trials. A dedicated group of young people with long-term health conditions and their parents met regularly throughout the study; further involvement was sought when specific input was required. Review of formal impact records and informal discussions highlighted how public involvement can positively influence research practice and the people involved. By detailing the methods of involvement used, this work also provides guidance for successfully implementing public involvement in research, and highlights challenges that should be considered in future research projects.

Abstract:
The following experiment was done to test the hypothesis that acceleration of seedling growth increases the juvenile–mature correlation for growth. Growth traits of 18 open-pollinated loblolly pine (Pinustaeda) familes were compared across (i) field trials measured 8 years after planting (mature age), (ii) a short-term test environment with a supplemental incandescent light source (20-h photoperiod) and a higher fertilizer level, and (iii) a short-term test environment with no supplemental day length and a lower fertilizer level. The ranking of two seedlots of known, extreme performance and the juvenile–mature correlations were used as the criteria of early testing success. Juvenile–mature (family mean) correlations were low (r = 0.13) for the growth-accelerating environment relative to the natural day length environment (r = 0.59) and two check seedlots ranked correctly only in the natural day length environment. The genetic correlations between the short-term tests are high for total height [Formula: see text] but lower for height produced after first budset, the trait that has shown value as a juvenile indicator [Formula: see text] The growth-accelerating treatment increases growth per unit time but prompts abnormal shoot development. The nonaccelerating treatment with no supplemental light offered the most promise for genetic testing of 1st-year loblolly pine seedlings.

Abstract:
Background: There exist natural antioxidants in plants that scavenge harmful free radicals from the body. Free radicals are species of chemical origin with an unpaired electron and play a pivotal role in combating against health-related problems like lung damage, inflammation, and cardiovascular ailments etc. Antioxidants halt the development of these free radicals called the reactive oxygen species either by chelating the trace elements or by enzymes inhibition. Objectives: The aim of present review was to collect information about Pakistani medicinally important plants with the exploration of their antioxidant potential. Methodology: Total 206 papers were looked over, which were obtained from numerous sources like; Google Scholar, Medline, PubMed, Research Gate, Science Direct, Scopus and Web of Science. Results: Overall, 93 plants representing 44 families with potential antioxidant activity reported from Pakistan have been presented in this review. Maximum number of species from Asteracea, Poaceae and Rutaceae familes were scrutinized for their potential antioxidant activity from Pakistan. Conclusion: The present review clearly designates that the presence of phytochemicals and antioxidant activity of medicinal plants from Pakistan vary with the species of the plants and material/extracts used. From this review, it is recommended to perform comprehensive experimental investigations based on toxicology and ethnopharmacology on these precious plants from Pakistan. It will be advantageous in the provision of trustworthy information to patients and determine further innovative compounds for safer and new drugs development with fewer side effects.

Present study aims to explore the ethnobotanical information on medicinal plants used by Magar community of Badagaun VDC of Gulmi district. The study was carried out during different periods of the year 2010. Informations on plant and plant parts uses were collected interviewing key informants by using semi-structured open-ended questionnaire. Altogether 161 different plant species belonging to 87 familes and 144 genera were documented and majority of them are herbs. In terms of plant parts use, leaf and stem/bark are in top priorities. These plants are used to treat different ailments ranging from gastro-intestinal to headache and fever, respiratory tract related problems to dermatological problems, snake bite to ophthalmic and cuts and wounds. Easy access to modern medicines and less recognition of traditional healers are the main causes leading to decrease in interest of young generation in the use of traditional medicinal practices. Abstract:
This article examines Vin Diesel’s use of his public Facebook Page to mourn the loss of his friend and co-actor Paul Walker in the period from 2013-2015. It discusses how Vin Diesel performed his grief and how his mourning process was communally reflected and repeated by both Vin Diesel and Walker fans, who used Vin Diesel’s page to share and verbalise their own feelings of loss in a both public and safe space. An analysis of Vin Diesel’s own status updates and 1800 comments reacting to three popular status updates related to the death of Paul Walk posted over the course of more than a year show that commentary was used to make condolences to both Vin Diesel and Walker’s familes and to affectively express the users’ immediate feelings, both verbally and through the use of emojis. However, over time, both the form and intensity of expression of both Vin Diesel and his followers changed, pointing to the need to further study celebrity mourning processes on social media over extended periods of time.

Abstract:
AbstractObjectives:The purposes of this study were: (1) to explore cancer patients' complaints of poor sleep, which often involve a combination of somatic symptoms and nightmares; and (2) to understand these sleep disturbances in the light of modern dream theories and intervention modalities.Method: The literature search originated with several major articles (Revonsuo, 2000; Krakow & Zadra, 2006; Hobson, 2009) which then opened up the search through their references. We also used the database PubMed, and employed the following key words: cancer, nightmares/dreams, sleep disturbances, and dream theory. The literature search covered the interval between 1900 (Freud, 1900) and 2009. Our criteria for selecting studies included the most recent major review articles on the neuroscience of sleep and dreams; articles reviewing sleep disturbances in cancer patients and relevant treatments; and articles reviewing interventions for traumatic dreams. Approximately 30 articles were deemed worthy of inclusion. Results:Thirty article/books/chapters met the criteria for relevance related to key theories and clinical interventions related to nightmares and traumatic dreams of cancer patients. Key concepts involve threat simulation theory and imagery rehearsal therapy in regard to theoretical and interventional paradigms significantly generalizable to cancer patients. The dream material included in this article presents patients' attempts to deal with complex threats such as intense dependency/ loss of self-sufficiency, disfigurement, and death. This is especially true with regard to the doctor–patient relationship at all stages of the illness and disease. Imagery rehearsal can facilitate empowerment in light of highly threatening and conflictual cancer-related dreams in which the patient feels helpless and victimized.Significance of results:This review offers a new lens on current dream theories and understanding of sleep disturbance in cancer patients as well as their familes and medical caregivers. Modern theories lead to opportunities for intervention that can both relieve symptoms and improve communication between medical caregivers and patients and families.

Full text
Abstract:
The phylogenetic relationships of leeches were investigated by examining 22 species representative of the 10 euhirudinean familes in a cladistic analysis. Forty-five characters relating to internal and external morphology as well as cocoon deposition characteristics were used. Polarization of character states was accomplished using Acanthobdella peledina as the sister-taxon to the Euhirudinea. Two equally parsimonious solutions resulted. One was chosen as a preferred tree on the basis of defensible character state transformations. Previous speculations as to evolutionary branching patterns are largely consistent with the results obtained by cladistic analysis. Similarly, contemporary taxonomic groupings of leeches into higher taxonomic categories were found to be largely consistent with monophyletic groups identified in the analysis. The family Piscicolidae was found to be paraphyletic; elevating the constituent piscicolid subfamilies to the level of family is proposed. The origin of sanguivory as a life-history mode was investigated by optimizing this characteristic on the phylogenetic hypothesis, indicating the possibility of at least two origins of blood-feeding in the evolutionary history of leeches, depending largely on how the feeding biology of acanthobdellids is interpreted. Sanguivory is seen to have been lost at least twice.

Abstract:
Internationally there is wide scientific and legislative agreement on the relevance of school-family collaboration in education. Following this premise, this study explores the notions of collaboration that sustain participation and involvement practices in five schools in Chile. Utilizing a questionnaire based on Hoover-Dempsey & Sandler´s scales of parental involvement and individual and group interviews with teachers and families, meanings about school-family collaboration, roles and teachers´ expectations for families are explored. Results show how notions of collaboration held by teachers and families privilege certain aspects while invisiblizing others. Further results indicate accountability and blame discourses for the failure of successful school-family collaborations attributed to non-participating families by teachers and those families who do participate in school-based activities.

With the current contribution and the three following papers, we intend to create the first point in time of a future spider SRLI encompassing 200 species distributed across the world.A sample of 200 species of spiders were randomly selected from the World Spider Catalogue, an updated global database containing all recognised species names for the group. The 200 selected species where divided taxonomically at the family level and the familes were ordered alphabetically. In this publication, we present the conservation profiles of 46 species belonging to the famillies alphabetically arranged between Agelenidae and Filistatidae, which encompassed Agelenidae, Amaurobiidae, Anyphaenidae, Araneidae, Archaeidae, Barychelidae, Clubionidae, Corinnidae, Ctenidae, Ctenizidae, Cyatholipidae, Dictynidae, Dysderidae, Eresidae and Filistatidae.
