The nonlinear properties of NMR in superfluid 3He-A are studied. It is shown that the family of hodographs of the mean-spin vector as a function of the ratio of the amplitude of the alternating field and the dynamic shift of the NMR frequency consists of two groups of topologically different curves, separated by a separatrix. I report on measures of life satisfaction and emotional well-being across groups of college-educated women, based on whether they have a career, a family, both, or neither. The biggest premium to life satisfaction is associated with having a family. While there is also a life satisfaction premium associated with having a career, women do not seem able to “double up” on these premiums. A qualitatively similar picture emerges from the emotional well-being data. Among college-educated women with family, those with a career spend a larger share of their day unhappy, sad, stressed and tired.

In the context of social work with lone fathers, the article demonstrates the need for knowledge of the socio-cultural condition of living and socialization of the client in order to effectively solve his problems. It is proved that paternal mono parenthood becomes a real life test for those men (fathers), whose socialization happened within the framework of the so-called traditional culture, with patriarchal gender stereotypes, with absolutization and rigid differentiation of paternal and maternal roles.
