У даній роботі проаналізовані морфометричні показники ремонтно-маточного стада струмкової форелі (Salmo trutta m. Fario L.) в індустріальних умовах. Більшість з проаналізованих ознак характеризувалась відносно невисоким ступенем мінливості – коефіцієнт варіації коливався від 3,8 до 13,1 %.
 У риб істотно збільшувалася маса тіла, за цим інші пропорції тіла, в цілому, залишалися характерними для струмкової форелі з природних водотоків. We report for the first time rodlet cells in the epithelium of intrahepatic biliary ducts of the brown trout (Salmo trutta fario Linnaeus 1758). Such cells have not been described in the liver of any salmonid. Several developmental stages of the rodlet cells were found, including mature, discharging elements. The number of rodlet cells decreased from June to April. Intra-epithelial macrophages were found in close proximity to rodlet cells, suggesting a mild pathological reaction.

Del músculo de las truchas Salmo fario capturadas a lo largo del año en dos zonas acotadas del río Porma (León) se aislaron diversos pigmentos carotenoides, identificándose los siguientes: β caroteno, cantaxantina, luteína, zeaxantina, astaxantina (libre, monoéster y diéster) y astaceno y caracterizándose otros seis como cetocarotenoides. Se observan cambios estacionales en la concentración de los mismos con una tendencia al incremento de los cetocarotenoides hacia el verano. La abundancia relativa, en el tejido muscular, sugiere la formación de astaxantina a partir de β caroteno.

There is still a lack of standardized methodology in the cryopreservation of Salmo trutta f. fario sperm.
