It wasn’t until I was part of the process of Theatre Passe Muraille’s collectives that I learned about “making theatre from real life”. We used tapes – recorded people talking to us about their life and made them into plays: The Farm Show (although I played in the touring Farm Show, I was not one of its pioneers), Under the Greywacke, 1837.
