As the Muslim women's movement Nahdlatul Ulama, Fatayat NU has dedicated itself especially to reviving the spirit of gender equality in society. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research design that portrays basic cadre training as an effort to strengthen the spirit of gender equality in Fatayat NU cadres. This research is conducted at the Budossyan Village Hall, Tengaran District, Semarang Regency, which was attended by 50 Fatayat NU cadres. The data collection instruments are observation, interview and documentation. Realizing idealism in gender equality requires hard work from all elements. Fatayat NU is actively empowering women to reach gender equality in society even though in reality they still face many challenges and obstacles. The biggest challenge faced by Fatayat NU is how to fight the patriarchal culture that still dominates women roles in society. The results shows that the implementation of this training is successful in supporting Fatayat NU cadres to be more sensitive to issues of gender inequality by encouraging themselves to take an important role in society. Finally, it is concluded that the realization of idealism in reviving the spirit of gender equality in Fatayat NU still needs to be improved and evaluated periodically so that Fatayat NU cadres can become role models as agents of change in society in achieving gender equality.

Fatayat NU is one of the Nahdlatul Ulama autonomous bodies. As we know, Nahdlatul Ulama is the largest sosial and religious social organization in Indonesia. Like its parent, Nahdlatul Ulama, now Fatayat NU has branches that are spread in almost every city in Indonesia, one of which is in Subang Regency. This study aims to determine how the history of Fatayat NU and the develompent of Fatayat NU Subang Regency, especially in the field of regeneratios for the 2015-2020 period. The method used this study is a qualitative method, namely by collecting data through literature, documentation and interview. The data analysis technique is done by the heuristic, criticism, interpretation and historiography methods. The results of the period 2015-2020 Fatayat NU Subang Regency succeeded inaugurating as many as 30 PACs throughout Subang Regency in 2019. Where as previously only 10 PACs were successfully appointed as cadres Fatayat NU Subang Regency.

Media and technology take us to an era of information literacy. The pattern of communication and conversation on social media recently tends to provoke, shows the low ethics of Indonesian society in in the public domain communication such as social media. It is undeniable that women also took part as a subject in social media, including the Fatayat group in Situbondo. This study emphasizes the empowerment of social media ethics towards fatayat women in Situbondo through media literacy to fight hoax. It was a qualitative-explorative research by examined how fatayat ethics and behavior in communication through social media and how women are ethically empowered through strengthening knowledge media literacy. Studi ini mengkaji tentang polarisasi dukungan politik dan bentuk dukungan politik Muslimat dan Fatayat kepada Indah Putri Indriani-Thahar Rum pada Pilkada Serentak 2015 di Kabupaten Luwu Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan informan yang meliputi elit Muslimat dan Fatayat Luwu Utara beserta anggota yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling porposive. Adapun teori yang digunakan adalah teori gender, teori partisipasi politik dan teori pilihan rasional (rational choise). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat polarisasi dukungan politik yang diberikan kepada Indah Putri Indriani-Thahar Rum oleh Muslimat dan Fatayat. Secara umum dipermukaan dukungan politik yang diberikan kedua organisasi tersebut hanyalah semu sebab terdapat kepentingan politik yang berbeda antara keduanya. Muslimat secara tegas memberikan dukungan politik sedangkan Fatayat hanya nampak dipermukaan saja sebab ada kekhawatiran yang dirasakan yakni berkaitan dengan citra dan netralitas para pengurus dan anggota dari Fatayat itu sendiri.

Metode yang digunakan dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan pendampingan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). Adapun jumlah peserta yang hadir 20 orang terdiri dari Pengurus Fatayat NU Cabang Kota Metro , Pengurus Fatayat NU Anak Cabang Kecamatan Metro Utara dan Pengurus Fatayat NU Ranting Kecamatan Metro Utara. Terjadinya konflik dan tsunami Aceh, selain menimbulkan keterpurukan dalam bidang sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya masyarakat, juga menimbulkan masalah sosial lain yaitu anak terlantar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk penanggulangan anak terlantar, serta apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penanggulangan anak terlantar di Kecamatan Panga Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakanTeknik Siklus Kesamaan Data. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa, bentuk penanggulangan anak terlantar dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial di Kecamatan Panga Kabupaten Aceh Jaya, dilakukan dengan memfasilitasi berbagai keperluan yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan anak terlantar, baik yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah setempat, maupun oleh Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Fatayat. Adapun faktor pendukung dalam penanggulangan anak terlantar di Kecamatan Panga Kabupaten Aceh Jaya adalah, adanya Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Fatayat yang menampung anak-anak terlantar untuk dibina secara formal dan informal. Sedangkan faktor penghambat kurang berkembangnya Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Fatayat dalam menanggulangi anak terlantar di Kecamatan Panga Kabupaten Aceh Jaya, dikarenakan minimnya bantuan yang didapatkan Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Fatayat untuk operasional dan biaya asuh. Saran-saran hasil penelitian ini, kepada dinas terkait diharapkan dapat memberikan modal usaha kepada anak terlantar sebagai tindak lanjut pasca pendidikan di yayasan. Dan bagi Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Fatayat, diharapkan dapat menjalin hubungan baik dengan pihak lain, guna mendapatkan pendanaan yang bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengembangan yayasan dan pengadaan fasilitas yang lebih memadai bagi anak-anak terlantar yang ada di Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Fatayat.

This community service aims to provide training in making flannelette crafts to encourage the creative economy of the community, especially mothers of fatayat in the Way bungur District. Based on the results of a survey in the field, we found that many Fatayat mothers did not have the skills to make flannelette crafts. On the basis of this matter, the community service training team tried to provide training in the hope that the fatayat mothers could make handicrafts from flannel cloth to encourage the family economy especially and society in general. Thus, they are expected to be able to develop their potential in order to build soul independence in entrepreneurship, this training was given to 40 fatayat women in Way Bungur Subdistrict, during the training we found several mothers who were able to make flannel cloth , but there are still many other mothers who have not been able to make flannel cloth. They collaborated to make handicrafts from flannel cloth to form a product of a bouquet of flowers, a tissue box, and a jar.

Khataman Al-Quran is the activity of reading Al-Quran which starts from surah al-Fatihah to surah an-Naas. Khataman Al-Quran is one of the religious activities carried out by Fatayat Muslimat NU (Nahdatul Ulama) Sarirejo. Khataman Al-Quran can transform when its implementation is disturbed. As was the case when there was a covid-19 pandemic outbreak, all forms of religious activities of the NU Muslim Fatayat underwent a transformation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the transformation of the Khataman Al-Quran carried out by Fatayat Muslimat NU during the Covid-19 pandemic. Researchers used qualitative methods because, in accordance with the research discussion, the results could not be measured by NUmbers but by using words. The data collection techniques used were observation and in-depth interviews. The theory used in this research is Talcott Parson's AGIL theory. There are 4 things that are interconnected, namely adaptation, goal attainment, integration, and latency. The result of this research is that the Khataman al-Qur'an carried out by Fatayat Muslimat NU in Sarirejo District underwent a transformation during the Covid-19 pandemic. The transformation that occurred was the change in reading the khataman Al-Quran face-to-face in Sarirejo Subdistrict to face-to-face reading in each village and being guided online by the Fatayat Muslimat NU, Sarirejo District. The transformation occurred because there were restrictions on community activities in order to stop the spread of covid-19.

Penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena media dalam mengkonstruksi realitas. Realitas yang ditampilkan oleh media dinilai sebagai kebenaran sesungguhnya oleh khalayak, padahal fakta yang ditampilkan media bukan kebenaran tunggal. Sebagaimana realitas tentang pemahaman perempuan muslimah dalam film religi, lantas bagaimana kalangan aktivis perempuan muslimah meresepsi dan mereinterpretasi sosok perempuan muslimah menjadi satu topik menarik untuk dikupas, khususnya pandangan dari aktivis muslimah PKS, Fatayat dan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah di Kabupetan Jember.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana representasi perempuan muslimah yang digambarkan dalam film Ayat Ayat Cinta, mendeskripsikan bagaimana perempuan dari kalangan PKS, Fatayat dan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah merepresentasi dan merekonstruksi pemahaman terhadap pemahaman tentang sosok perempuan muslimah dalam film Ayat Ayat Cinta, serta mendeskripsikan struktur pemikiran aktivis PKS, Fatayat dan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah dalam menggambarkan sosok perempuan muslimah yang direpresentasikan dalam film Ayat Ayat Cinta.
Penelitian ini memberikan hasil bahwa representasi perempuan muslimah yang ditampilkan dalam film Ayat Ayat Cinta memiliki satu karakter yang sama yakni menjaga harga diri. Adapun cara berpakaian beragam, namun dalam satu koridor menutup aurat dari ujung kaki hingga ujung kepala kecuali muka dan kedua telapak tangan. Dalam meresepsi dan mereinterpretasi sosok perempuan muslimah, bagi aktivis muslimah PKS, Fatayat, dan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah memiliki sudut pandang pemahaman masing-masing namun secara garis besar sosok perempuan muslimah yang ditampilkan dalam film Ayat Ayat Cinta mewakili muslimah ideal. Adapun struktur pemikiran yang melandasi aktivis muslimah PKS, Fatayat dan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah dalam memahami sosok perempuan muslimah lebih dominan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor dari luar film tersebut, seperti faktor keluarga, lingkungan dan organisasi.

So became development in politic communication of candidate leader of area on practice and scholarship. Then many questions will be answered are: 1) how is Fatayat of women Situbondo preception of realty politic in Situbondo. 2) How do Fatayat women face the obstacles of political communication in Situbondo? 3) How do Fatayat women build political communication strategies in dealing with kyai political hegemony in Situbondo? By using qualitative-explorative research approach, some steps in observation data collection procedure, interview and documentation are done consistently and continuously so that the first research produce political climate in Situbondo is in the power of kyai (men) in gender analysis is patriarchy political culture so space women's politics are not as free as the political space of men. Both communication barriers and women's political participation are found in several factors, including cultural barriers, political capital constraints and human resource constraints. The three strategies of women's political communication are carried out in several ways: firstly lobbying, establishing cooperation with various parties and agencies, both communication processes ranging from message selection, media selection and proper selection of communication so that communication strategy becomes effective.

Setelah di beri penyulihan terjadi input kognitif pada peserta lalu perubahan konseptual dan setelah itu itu terdapat output, sehingga peserta dapat memahami pembelajaran dan peserta dapat menjawab soal postest dengan baik. Selain metode penyuluhan dalam bentuk video juga menjadi salah satu daya tarik sehingga peserta lebih antusias saat mengikuti materi penyuluhan.

This article is the result of the research on the role of the women's organizations in Sidoarjo in responding to violence against women and children in Sidoarjo. The women's organizations in Sidoarjo referred to in this study are Fatayat of NU Branch Sidoarjo, Muslimat of NU Branch Sidoarjo, Regional Administrators Aisyiyah of Sidoarjo, Student Association of Nahhdlatul Ulama (IPPNU) Branch of Sidoarjo and Nasyi'atul Aisyiyah of Sidoarjo. Domestic violence is any act against a person, especially women, which results in physical, sexual, psychological misery or suffering resulting from neglect of the household, including threats to do illegal acts of deprivation or deprivation of liberty within the household. The results of the study concluded that Fatayat of NU, Muslimat, Aisyiyah, Nasyi'atul Aisyiyah and IPPNU had an important role in participating and handling cases of violence against women and children that occurred in Sidoarjo. They realize that women's organizations must respond to community development and needs. They participated with the government in dealing with victims of violence against women and children in Sidoarjo. The handling of cases of violence against women and children is not only in legal protection, but trauma healing assistance to victims is also done so that victims can return to their activities as before the violence occurred.

Hijab or jilbab has become familiar in Indonesia. It is certainly influenced by the increasing of understanding of Muslim women in Indonesia related to their obligations to cover their genitals. Muslimah's interest in hijab has been put well by television advertising providers. The use of hijab in advertisements is solely to attract consumers, with the biggest target market being Muslim women in Indonesia. It has an impact on the proliferation of products that choose advertising stars that are closely related to hijab. One of them is shampoo products, such as the Rejoice shampoo advertisement version of Fatin Shidqia Lubis, Clear version of Sivia Azizah, and Wardah version of Dewi Sandra. Therefore, the researcher used Stuart Hall's encoding decoding reception analysis method, where the audience is positioned as an active audience in interpreting the content of media messages to find out what the meaning of the hijab is shown in Rejoice, Clear, and Wardah shampoo advertisements. As a result, the three Muslim women studied, namely Al Irsyad, Fatayat, and Nasyiatul Aisyiyah, all of them had different results. For Al Irsyad, she turns out that his position is in the hegemonic dominant position for Wardah shampoo commercials and in opposition to Rejoice and Clear shampoo advertisements. Meanwhile, Fatayat is in the dominant hegemonic position for the three shampoo advertisements. And for Nasyiatul Aisyiyah, she is in hegemonic dominance for Wardah, negotiating for Rejoice, and opposing Clear.

Abstract: This research is qualitative research aimed at describing the prevention of radicalism in alpha generation in Raudhatul Athfal (RA) by activists of Fatayat NU, Cilacap district. Radicalism is one of the threats to the millennial generation, including the generation of alpha, namely those who are studying at the level of early childhood education such as Raudhatul Athfal (RA). From the results of the study, it was revealed that radicalism had plagued teachers at Raudhatul Athfal (RA) and had an influence on the radical understanding of alpha generation in early childhood education. This was responded to by the Fatayat NU activist in Cilacap district who became a teacher at Raudhatul Athfal (RA) by making efforts to prevent radical understanding through seven ways. First, assist teachers who are influenced by radical understanding through non-formal discussion activities in a family atmosphere. Second, fortify themselves from the negative influence of radicalism by continuing to increase knowledge and religious insights from the perspective of ahlussunnah wal jamaah. Third, optimizing the implementation of religious education for the alpha generation. Fourth, optimizing the implementation of character education for the alpha generation. Fifth, introduce nationalism to the alpha generation. Sixth, creating a Raudhatul Athfal (RA) environment and a child-friendly family environment. Dari hasil penelitian terungkap bahwa radikalisme sudah mewabah pada guru di Raudhatul Athfal (RA) dan berpengaruh pada penanaman paham radikal bagi generasi alpha di jenjang pendidikan anak usia dini. Hal itu direspon oleh aktivis Fatayat NU kabupaten Cilacap yang menjadi guru di Raudhatul Athfal (RA) dengan melakukan upaya pencegahan terhadap paham radikal melalui tujuh cara. Pertama, melakukan pendampingan kepada para guru yang terpengaruh paham radikal melalui kegiatan diskusi secara nonformal dalam suasana yang penuh kekeluargaan. Kedua, membentengi diri dari pengaruh negatif radikalisme dengan terus meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan keagamaan dalam perspektif ahlussunnah wal jamaah. Ketiga, mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan pendidikan agama bagi generasi alpha. Keempat, mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter bagi generasi alpha. Kelima, mengenalkan paham nasionalisme pada generasi alpha. Keenam, menciptakan lingkungan Raudhatul Athfal (RA) dan lingkungan keluarga yang ramah anak. Persepsi muslimah yang menjabat sebagai pimpinan ormas Islam di Kota Manado seperti Badan Kontak Majelis Taklim (BKMT), Aisyiah, Wanita Serikat Islam, Fatayat NU, dan Kerukunan Wanita Islam (KWI) tetang poligami adalah fokus dalam penelitian ini, mengingat Kota Manado adalah wilayah muslim minoritas di Indonesia. Hasilnya adalah, bahwa semua pimpinan sepakat bahwa poligami adalah salah satu ajaran agama Islam yang tertuang di dalam al-Qur'an, namun implementasinya di era ini yang perlu ditelaah keabsahannya. Hal ini mengingat bahwa poligami di era ini lebih didominasi oleh kehendak nafsu seksual semata yang menjurus pada kemudharatan dan bukan untuk jalan kemaslahatan. Oleh karenanya, mereka sepakat bahwa aturan hukum di Indonesia tentang perkawinan yang menegaskan monogami terbuka sebagai asas perkawinan sangat responsif, dan izin istri adalah jalan poligami yang sehat jika diinginkan.

Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi dengan subjek Fatayat NU di DIY. Data dikumpulkan dengan interview mendalam dengan triangulasi tema-tema. Analisis data menggunakan Interpretive Phenomenology Analysis (IPA) dan Event History Analysis (EHA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model konseptual difusi kebijakan pada individu ditemukan dengan tahap pengetahuan, persuasi, konfirmasi, keputusan dan implementasi. Adopsi kebijakan PUG pada individu ditentukan oleh faktor internal meliputi latar belakang individu, keinovatif-an sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu, dan perilaku aktif dari individu dan faktor penentu eksternal meliputi ketersediaan sumber dan saluran informasi, Anggota Kelompok (Member group), Kelompok Referensi (Reference group). This study employed the phenomenological qualitative approach involving the members of Fatayat NU in Yogyakarta Special Territory. The data were collected through in-depth interviews using theme triangulation. The data were analyzed using the Interpretive Phenomenology Analysis (IPA) and Event History Analysis (EHA). The research findings show that that the conceptual model for the diffusion of a policy in individuals is applied through the stages of knowledge, persuasion, confirma-tion, decision, and implementation. The adoption of the gender mainstreaming policy in individuals is determined by internal factors, including the individual’s backgrounds, the innovative-ness in accordance with the individual’s needs, and the individual’s active behaviors, and by external factors, including the availability of information sources and channels, member groups, and reference groups. A study on the diffusion of a policy in individuals describes a very complex mental process that needs interdisciplinary studies involving a variety of sciences. Dibanding tahun-tahun sebelumnya, partisipasi perempuan dalam kancah politik di tanah air, beberapa tahun terakhir mengalami kenaikan yang cukup signifikan. Pada pemilu nasional tahun 2019 ini, di tingkat pusat, ada 16 partai politik yang sudah berhasil memenuhi 30 persen kuota untuk caleg perempuan. Hal ini tentu patut kita apresiasi, meskipun representasi keterwakilan perempuan di tingkat propinsi dan kabupaten/kota masih jauh dari ideal. Begitu juga dengan partisipasi kader perempuan dari Nahdlatul Ulama. Hasil dari pemilu tahun 2019 ini mengalami kenaikan yang cukup signifikan, baik kader yang dari Fatayat maupun Muslimat.
Akan tetapi, kenaikan yang cukup signifikan dari segi jumlah ini, menyisakan jebakan yang terkesan membelit kiprah perempuan NU lain dalam kancah perpolitikan nasional. Banyak perempuan-perempuan NU yang pemikiran dan gagasannya luar biasa, bahkan dibesarkan dalam ruang aktivis, tidak sanggup menembus tembok tebal politik NU yang menganut sistem trah, dinasti dan over budgeting. Nyai (wife of Kiai/pesantren leader) holds an essential role in pesantren management, particularly pertaining to the process of taking care of and nurturing the pesantren tradition. This research investigates leadership typology of Nyai Nur Latifah in Ma’had ‘Aly Nurul Jadid Probolinggo in maintaining Kitab Kuning studies. Employing phenomenological approach of qualitative study, this research collect the data through observation, indepth interview, and documentation. This research found that: (1) the leadership type of Nyai Nur Latifah in preserving Kitab Kuning studies can be categorized as democratic and charismatic; (2) there are two factors supporting her leadership: internal factors (religious competence and technological application ability), and external factors (support from family council, special assembly for Kitab Kuning, and the guidance in Kitab Kuning reading (BMK), whereas, the challenging factors are related to internal situation such as multiple roles as the leader of Fatayat NU and recitation, as well as external factors such as the decreased preference of students to learn Kitab Kuning and the negative impact of technology.

This article analyses the factors leading to the success of women candidates in the 2019 elections in Central Java. Recent scholarship on women’s representation in Indonesia has highlighted the role that dynastic ties and relationships with local political elites play in getting women elected in an environment increasingly dominated by money politics and clientelism. Our case study of women candidates in Central Java belonging to the elite of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU)-affiliated women’s religious organisations Muslimat and Fatayat shows that strong women candidates with grassroots support can nonetheless win office. Using the concepts of social capital and gender issue ownership, and clientelism, we argue that women candidates can gain a strategic advantage when they “run as women.” By harnessing women’s networks and focusing on gender issues to target women voters, they are able to overcome cultural, institutional, and structural barriers to achieve electoral success even though they lack resources and political connections.

<p>The life of the Samin community has undergone many changes and shifts since they embraced Islam. This paper examines the strategy of implementing da'wah to their community. The implementation of Islamic da'wah has existed among them, which can be seen from Islamic nuances, carried out by Fatayat, Muslimat, TPQ, the Hadrah Art group, and the Selapanan Recitation group. The activity became a forum for the development of Islamic teachings among the community. This paper concludes that the da'wah strategy used by the Samin community is the strategy of preaching bi al-hikmah, namely preaching by looking at the situation and condition of them first so that they do not feel compelled or objected to accepting and implementing Islamic teachings. This strategy is quite appropriate to be applied, because before delivering da'wah, da'i already knew the situation and conditions of them. Through the da'wah strategy mentioned above, they can receive da'wah well so that it has a positive impact on their lives.</p><p> </p>

<p class="abstrak">This article aimed to describe Said Agil Siradj's (SAS’s) communication strategy at the anniversary of Fatayat NU in 2019. Radicalism and terrorism have become a real threat to world peace and human values. In Indonesia, it has been categorised as an extraordinary crime, particularly since the Bali bombings in 2002. The act of anticipation has been issued by forming anti-terrorism regulation to prevent and crackdown of its action. Nevertheless, this effort is not sufficient to eradicate terrorism action. Collaboration with religious institutions is needed to deal with the questions of the religious doctrines. Therefore, the participation of religious leaders from the Islamic organisations such as Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is essential.. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach of critical discourse analysis, focusing on the illocutionary acts of speech acts theory. The data of the research was transcribed from the video of SAS’s speech on YouTube channel. The result shows that the speaker used types of illocutionary acts; representatives, directives, commisives, expressives, and declarations. These expressions are used to command, persuade, and warn the listeners. Meanwhile, the Islamic terms were used as a discursive practice to maintain a good relationship between a leader and the followers. </p><p><em>Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang bagaiamana Said Agil Siradj (SAS) mempengaruhi pendengarnya pada acara ulang tahun Fatayat NU ke-73 tahun 2019. Radikalisme dan terorisme telah menjadi ancaman bagi perdamaian dan nilai-nilai kemanusian. Di Indonesia, tindak terorisme telah menjadi bentuk kejahatan yang luar biasa sejak kejadian bom Bali 2002. Theoretically, the successful policy implementation depends on several aspects such as communication, the availability of resources, the disposition, and the character of the bureaucracy. This study found that the State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Ponorogo contributed to implementing SDGs, especially in quality education and strengthening gender equality. However, the institution did not explicitly formulate other SDGs goals. Communication between the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) as the leading sector for gender mainstreaming and leadership is manifested in the strategic plan and formal and informal meetings. Resources owned by IAIN Ponorogo in human resources and social capital are sufficient, which can be found from the active involvement of mass organizations of Fatayat, Muslimat, and Aisiyah in gender strengthening activities. The rector of IAIN Ponorogo is collaborating with the Ministry of Women and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) in realizing gender equality implementation agendas. Meanwhile, the bureaucratic structure that has been developed so far tends to be egalitarian and democratic. In preparing the Strategic Plan and the Master Plan (RIP), IAIN held a hearing with IAIN Ponorogo stakeholders, including the Academic Senate, which provides considerations for higher education policies. The problem is that the IAIN Ponorogo leader has not intensively monitored the targets for achieving gender equality, especially the other targets for achieving the SDGs.Tulisan ini mengkaji lebih dalam bagaimana peran perguruan tinggi dalam pencapaian target SDGs, dengan cara melakukan field research dan menggunakan pendekatan teori kebijakan. Secara teoritik kesuksesan kebijakan sangat tergantung pada beberapa aspek seperti komunikasi, adanya sumber daya, disposisi dan watak birokrasi. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa IAIN Ponorogo turut berkontribusi melaksanakan pembangunan berkelanjutan, khususnya pada pendidikan berkualitas dan penguatan kesetaraan gender, tetapi belum secara eksplisit merumuskan tujuan SDGs yang lain. Komunikasi antara Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) sebagai leading sector pengarusutamaan gender dengan pimpinan diwujudkan dalam renstra, juga dalam rapat formal maupun informal. Sumber daya yang dimiliki IAIN berupa sumber daya manusia maupun sumber daya sosial (social capital) sangat cukup. Terlihat dari keterlibatan aktif ormas Fatayat, Muslimat, Aisiyah dalam kegiatan gender di kampus. Adapun disposisi dalam arti komitmen dapat dilihat dari LPPM dan pimpinan IAIN menggandeng Kementerian Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (KemenPPPA) dalam mewujudkan agenda-agenda implementasi kesetaraan gender. Sedangkan struktur birokrasi yang dikembangkan selama ini cenderung egaliter dan demokratis. Dalam penyusunan renstra dan Rencana Induk Pengembangan (RIP), IAIN melakukan rapat dengar pendapat dengan stakeholder IAIN, termasuk dengan Senat Akademik sebagai lembaga pemberi pertimbangan kebijakan perguruan tinggi. Persoalannya adalah pimpinan lembaga IAIN belum secara intensif melakukan monitoring terhadap target pencapaian kesetaraan gender, terlebih target pencapaian SDGs yang lain. This work aims to propose a system for the Algerian Fatawa House in orderto facilitate the task of the Expert Mufti who is responsible of giving fatawa for Algerian people inquiries. In fact, as this house is recent and does not have sufficient human resources, it is difficult to satisfy all inquiries coming daily, this leads the askers to wait for a long time before getting answers. The proposed system allows the askers to express concerns they may have. By using a case-based reasoning mechanism combined with ontology domain, the system tries to retrieve similar cases from the knowledge base. In the casewhere the response already exists, the system immediately provides the answer to the askers. Otherwise, an inquery is automatically formulated and sent to the expert Mufti-which is a certified scholar-in order either to validate the generated response by the system or give a new answer. Such a question-answering system may be very helpful for askers to get their answers faster since it allows both the storage of previous <em>fatawas</em> and their retrieval for processing coming inquiries. To validate our proposal, we rely on <em>fatawas</em> concerning the Islamic finance and banking transactions domain. Overall, the results are encouraging and satisfactory.

Historical facts state that NU was an organization that was originally founded by religious scholars of pesantren, before the birth of NU in Surabaya in 1926. In 1961 as the golden age of the beginning of the nation's awakening (Nahdlatul Wathon) because at that time Indonesia was under colonialist rule, the pesantren religious scholars as the central figure in the struggle for independence of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia no longer prioritized the Islamic group which was limited, but rather a universal policy for the rise of the nation and in the context of the struggle to drive out colonialism. In its historical roots, as a center of freedom movement fighters, Nahdlatul Wathon was then followed by the establishment of Nahdlatut Tujjar (Resurrection of Traders) which was an attempt by the religious scholars to build and develop the economic independence of the community, rival and drive out the economic development of the colonizers. Nahdlatut Tujjar's struggle which later became a practical warrior in the economic sector, in addition to his struggle in the national sector through Nahdlatul Wathon. The NU Autonomous Agency is an NU Organizational Tool that functions to help implement NU policies, especially those relating to disadvantaged communities. The autonomous bodies referred to include: Fatayat NU, Muslimat NU, GP Ansor, IPNU, IPPNU, Jam'iyan Expert Thariqah al Mu'tabaroh an Nahdliyah, JQH (Jamiyatul Quro 'wal Hufadz), Pergunu (Nahdlatul Ulama Teachers' Association) , and ISNU (Nahdlatul Ulama Bachelor Association).

This study aims to examine and provide new concepts in the development of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) through religious organizations, especially Islam. BUMDes is one of the economic institutions operating in rural areas that must have differences with economic institutions in general. This is intended so that the existence and performance of BUMDes can contribute significantly to improving the welfare and economic prosperity of the community, the majority of the population of Indonesia are Muslims, so that BUMDes are in accordance with Islamic contracts. The problems that will be discussed in this study are 1. What is the development of Village-Owned Enterprises as Economic Empowerment (sharia) through the current Religious Based Organization (Islam). 2. What is the concept in the development of Village-Owned Business Entities Through Religious (Islamic) Based Organizations. This research method uses a normative juridical system by studying library materials and documents related to the development of BUMDes. This study shows that existing contracts in Islamic economics can be implemented on BUMDes in accordance with laws and regulations. In addition to having strengths and opportunities, this concept also has disadvantages and threats. To realize Islamic economy-based BUMDes this requires an active role and joint commitment from the village government, the community, Fatayat Nahdatul Ulama (NU), Muslimat, and other Islamic organizations that will develop Islamic economics, so that the needs of al-dharuriyah (primary), al-hajiyyah ( secondary), al-thsaniyyah (complementary) in the village.

The religious doctrine of the perfection of faith obtained by maintaining cleanliness must be realized by cooperating with multiple disciplines or other entities as an effort to create a clean and healthy society. The paradox of the society which is being busy with religious rituals, but neglecting the cleanliness of the environment continues until today, including in Grobog Wetan Village, Pangkah District, Tegal Regency. Initially this dedications was planned with the Almaghfiroh Foundation. However, in its development also with the Village Government, Youths, Fatayat, RT, RW and Nature Lovers Students.This dedication in dealing with the problem of garbage aims to bring up a paradigm of dealing with waste problems as a worshipping ritual, getting reward as in other rituals. It also makes waste as something which is close and can be treated as something economical. By using the society intervention method, the result of this service is a process in which the society developing a pattern of sorting and processing organic and inorganic waste. Organic waste is transformed into magot caterpillar food and inorganic waste is still in the process of being transformed into tradable goods. In addition, the fundamental achievement of this research-based dedication is the emergence of a new understanding for the society not to "hostile" waste, but to be close to the waste, which exists a daily life and eventually to "make friends" with waste. This service also recommends the village government to create a waste management budget on a larger scale. These achievements must also be interpreted and disseminated to the society as a form of worshipping.</em></p><p><em>Beragama sejatinya menjadikan doktrin agama sebagai energy dalam memecahkan masalah kemanusiaan, salah satunya masalah sampah. Doktrin agama tentang kesempurnaan iman diperoleh dengan menjaga kebersihan harus direalisasikan dengan menggandeng berbagai disiplin atau entitas lain sebagai upaya mewujudkan masyarakat yang bersih dan sehat. Paradoks masyarakat sibuk ritual keagamaan namun abai dengan kebersihan lingkungan terus beralangsung hingga saat ini. Termasuk di Desa Grobog Wetan Kecamatan Pangkah Kabupaten Tegal. Awalnya pengabdian ini direncanakan bersama Yayasan Almaghfiroh. Namun dalam perkembangannya juga dengan Pemerintah Desa, Para Pemuda, Ibu-Ibu Fatayat, RT , RW dan Mahasiswa Pecinta Alam.Pengabdian dalam menangani masalah sampah ini bertujuan untuk memunculkan paradigma menangani masalah sampah sebagai ibadah, berpahala sebagaimana ibadah ritual lain. Juga menjadikan sampah sebagai sesuatu yang dekat dan bisa diperlakukan sebagai sesuatu yang ekonomis. Dengan menggunakan metode intervensi komunitas, hasil pengabdian ini berupa proses. Yaitu masyarakat mengembangkan pola pilah dan olah sampah organic dan an organic. Sampah organic ditransformasikan menjadi makanan ulat magot dan sampah an organic masih dalam tahap proses transformasi menjadi barang yang diperjual belikan. Selain itu, capaian mendasar dari pengabdian berbasis riset ini adalah munculnya pemahaman baru bagi masyarakat untuk tidak “memusuhi” sampah, melainkan dekat dengan sampah yang merupakan kenyataan dalam keseharian dan akhirnya “berteman” dengan sampah. Pengabdian ini juga merekomendasikan pemerintah desa untuk membuat anggaran penanganan sampah dalam skala yang lebih besar. Capaian-capaian ini pula harus dimaknai dan disemaikan kepada masyarakat sebagai bentuk ibadah. </em></p>

The present study discusses Muslim religious scholars' attitudes in the sub-continent when it was under British rulers' influence.The study focuses on the causes of religious scholars' indifference and their hostile attitudes towards the English language in the pre-partition era. The data has been collected from various fatawa books written by Muslim religious scholars during the pre-partition period. Researchersanalyse the fatawas (religious decrees) under the paradigm of Islam and English language and attitudes of religious scholars in the pre-partition era.The fatawashas been examined through a content analysis of the text. The study's findings reveal that Muslim religious scholars wereagainst English language learning and teaching to such an extent that they issued Fatawas declaring that learning and teaching English was illegitimate (Najaiz) because they believed that Christian missionaries were against Muslims and Islam. Thefindingsfurther suggest that future English language curriculum planning should considersociety's cultural and religious requirements so that everyone in the community can learn English according to their needs. The study also highlightsculturalharmonyfrom the perspectiveofEnglish languagelearning.

This articles discusses the life of Nyai Dadah, a woman leader of pesantren in Central Java Indonesia, through life history method, to shed light upon the gender elasticity of pesantren and the struggle of its woman to promote girls education in Indonesia. Nyai Dadah is the eldest daughter of Kiai Zubaidi, the founder of Pesantren Al Asror. When her father passed away, she continued the struggle of her father managing the pesantren. His younger brother was still in religious training, and when he completed the study she passed the leadership to him and then created a pesantren for girls. The study reveals that pesantren women have strategies to promote girls education and pesantren doesnot close itself from the rise of womens leadership. Nyai Dadah with her capabilities is able to manage the pesantren for girls. Nyai Dadah plays the roles either as a nyai in pesantren or a housewife, and religious leader in her village.Menggunakan metode life history, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan secara detil ketokohan seorang figur perempuan atau pemimpin pesantren di Semarang, yang disebut sebagai nyai. Life history nyai digunakan untuk menyampaikan perjuangan dan peran beliau di pesantren dan masyarakat. Nyai yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah Nyai Dadah, anak perempuan tertua dari Kiai Zubaidi, pendiri Pesantren Al Asror, yang sekarang menjadi nyai di Pesantren Putri Huffadhul Quran Al Asror sejak tahun 2002 hingga sekarang. Studi ini berdasarkan pada konsep life history dan teori negosiasi gender. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren tidak selalu menutup dirinya terhadap munculnya kepemimpinan perempuan. Nyai Dadah dengan kemampuannya, mampu mendirikan dan mengelola pesantren putri. Nyai Dadah menjalankan perannya baik sebagai seorang nyai di pesantren atau seorang ibu rumah tangga. Nyai Dadah juga berkontribusi di dalam masyarakat dengan menjadi penasehat Fatayat NU cabang Patemon dan memprakarsai ngaji selapanan sejak sepuluh tahun yang lalu sampai sekarang.

Sedangkan Faktor yang mempengaruhi ibu-ibu mengikuti pengajian berasal dari faktor intern dan ekstren. Al-Qur’an Al-Karim merupakan mukjizat terbesar. Diantara mukjizat Al-Qur’an Al-Karim ialah mukjizat dari aspek kebahasaan, hal ini berkaitan erat dengan bahasa Arab, mukjizat Al-Qur’an Al-Karim terkandung dalam setiap kata dan gaya bahasa. Di dalam Al-Qur’an Al-Karim terdapat satu kata yang menunjukan makna yang banyak, hal ini dinamakan dengan musytarak lafẓi (Polisemy), seperti kata “fataha” dan derivasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berbagai perubahan bentuk (morfologis) kata “fataha” dan derivasinya, mengetahui makna yang terkandung di dalam kata “fataha” dan derivasinya, mengetahui nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung di dalam kata “fataha” dan derivasinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dan metode yang digunakan ialah metode konten analisis. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini ialah data kepustakaan yang diambil dari sumber primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian tentang kata “fataha” dan derivasinya menunjukan beberapa hal, yaitu: 1) Penggunaan kata “fataha” dan derivasinya dalam Al-Qur’an Al-karim dalam berbagai ayat dan surat dengan bentuk fi’il madhi,fi’il mudhari’,fi’il amr, masdar, isim fail, isim maf’ul, isim alat, dan shighat mubalaghah. 2) Makna yang terkandung dalam kata “fataha” dan derivasinya yaitu makna leksikal dan kontekstul. Makna leksikal yaitu lawan kata tertutup (terbuka) adapun derivasinya kembali pada makna asal. Makna kontekstual ketetapan, pertolongan, utusan, kemenangan, ilmu, dan hari akhir. 3) Nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung di dalam kata “fataha” dan derivasinya ialah nilai i’tiqodiyah (keyakinan), nilai khuluqiyah (etika), dan nilai amaliyah (pengalaman).

<p><em>The objective of this study is to find the evidence for the efficacy of Religiosity on spirituality workplace. The research conducted by measuring the effect of employee’s perspectives of leader’s islamic spiritual intelligence on employee emotional well-being which mediated by the quality of employee spiritual value. The data was collected from the employees of moslem small medium enterprises on cullinary industry in Surakarta. The 75 samples was analyzed by multivariate analysis (Path Analysis) using SPSS 18 Software Program.The Islamic spiritual intelligence is explained by the variables that reflect the Muhammad SAW characters: sidiq (truthfulness), amanah (trustful), tabliq, and fatanah (wisdom). From the empirical research reveal that the employee spiritual value significantly mediating the effect of sidiq and fatanah toward employee’s emotional wellbeing. Meanwhile the variable of amanah and tabliq has no significant effect to employee spiritual value and employee emotional wellbeing. Therefore the higher the islamic spiritual value of leader (sidiq and fatanah) the higher the spiritual value of employee and the better the quality of employee’s emotional wellbeing</em>. </p>

AbstractTo summarise, the British legacy on Shari'a comprised: (1) Sharia in Anglo-Muhammadan precedent; (2) Sharia as a part of "native law"; and (3) Shari'a as an element of Malay sovereignty. So far as private law was concerned, it was restricted to family law, wakaf and (in some places only) mosque attendance and payment of zakat. It was also circumscribed by custom in all places. Between 1945 and 1957, at the approach to independence a considerable rationalisation of this legacy was achieved in the following ways. First, in the Federation, which came into being in 1957, each of the component states retained all rights over religious matters in each individual state. This was and remains specified in the Federal Constitution. Second, beginning in 1952 each state produced its own "Administration of Islamic (or Muslim) Law Enactment".4 While the individual Enactments vary in some details, and some are rather more elaborate than others, they all deal with three elements. These are: (1) An explanation of substantive rules of Shari'a (family law); (2) The structure and jurisdiction of Shari'a courts; and (3) The official determination of Islamic principle. The position now, therefore, is that Islam has: (1) A constitutional reference; and (2) A legislative and judicial form. It has become incorporated into the institutions of the state of Malaysia. From the point of view of this article the most important provision of the legislation is that dealing with what I have called the "official determination of principle". By this I mean to refer to the "Majlis Ugama Islam ..." or "Council of Religion" (the exact title varies from state to state) which each state has. The function of the Majlis is to aid and advise the Ruler on matters of Islam and Malay custom. The exact composition of the Majlis varies from state to state but the single most important duty is to issue fatawa, usually through the medium of a "Shariah Committee" or Fatawa Committee (terms and compositions vary) of the Majlis. A fatwa, once formally published in the State Gazette is binding on all Muslims in the state. Fatawa may be issued only by properly appointed persons through the medium of the appropriate committee(s). This, in short, is the constitutional and legislative structure. I shall now turn to the fatawa themselves.
