Abstract:
1862 yılında doğup 1936’da ölen Fatma Aliye, popüler olmuş bir yazardı. O, Türk tarihinin ilk kadın yazarlarından olup daha çok romancılığı ile tanınmaktadır. Fakat felsefe, kadın, İslamiyet, şiir ve tarih gibi alanlarda da eser vermiştir. Yazarın tarihçiliği ise şimdiye kadar ihmal edilmiş, ciddi bir değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmamıştır. Hâlbuki tarihçiliğinin ortaya konulmasında son derece kıymetli bilgiler içeren iki adet eseri bulunmaktadır.
