Feeding chickens is currently less expensive than feeding other livestock. It was discovered that the price of chicken feeds might be decreased by using unusual (cheap) local ingredients to create the least expensive feed composition with the use of computer software. When using these feed materials in the composition of feed, extra nutrients must be included, like, toxin binders, amino acids, micronutrients and some others. The majority of broiler and layer enterprises were found to be using amino acids over the levels recommended, with minimal influence on output and detrimental consequences

This research aims to study a real-world example of the unrelated parallel machine scheduling problem (UPMSP), considering job-splitting, inventories, shortage, and resource constraints. Since the nature of the studied optimization problem is NP-hard, we applied a metaheuristic algorithm named Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO). The novelty of this study is fourfold. First, the model tackles the inventory problem along with the shortage amount to avoid the late fee. Second, due to the popularity of minimizing completion time (Makespan), each job is divided into small parts to be operated on various mac

The article presents the results of a systematic approach to optimizing poultry feed formulations using amaranth—a highprotein, nutritious, and promising crop. In the face of challenges brought about by military actions affecting Ukraine’s agricultural sector, the efficient use of resources and reduction of livestock production costs have become particularly relevant. One possible way to improve the feed base is to incorporate alternative protein components into compound feeds, particularly amaranth press cake, which possesses antimicrobial properties and high digestibility. Abstract This presentation aims to review advances in mathematical models used in poultry nutrition and production in the past decades and present an overview of the current status. Models have been developed to improve understanding of growth, voluntary feed intake, nutrient utilization, body composition, responses to nutrient supply, environmental changes, and stressors. Growth models for broilers, turkeys, ducks, layers, and breeders are available mainly based on the Gompertz curve, but a few other mathematical functions are also used. The current study presents a computational fluid dynamics (CFDs) model designed to simulate the microfiltration of 2D materials using hollow fiber membranes from their dispersion. Microfiltration has recently been proposed as a cost-effective strategy for 2D material production, involving a dispersion containing a permeating solute (graphene), a fouling material (non-exfoliated graphite), and the solvent. The objective of the model is to investigate the effects of fouling of flat layered structure material (graphite) on the transmembrane pressure (TMP) of the system and the filtration of the p
