Studi tentang fenomenologi agama dapat dilacak dari filosofi fenomenologi Husserl. Dalam versi murni Edmund Husserl "fenomenologi bertujuan untuk menemukan landasan bagi pengetahuan manusia. Fenomenologi mencoba menjelaskan persepsi individu sebagai pengalaman ruang, warna, dan cahaya. Fenomenologi tidak tertarik pada penjelasan. Fenomenologi menginginkan pengalaman langsung. Fenomenologi mendasarkan seluruh asumsinya pada apa yang disebut "life world", yang dapat diterjemahkan ke dalam dunia kehidupan sehari-hari, kurang lebih persis apa yang disebut Alfred Schutz sebagai "everyday life". Artikel ini mencoba menggambarkan tawaran paradigma dari Ahimsa-Putra untuk memahami fenomena keagamaan. Dalam bukunya, Ahimsa-Putra menjelaskan secara rinci bagaimana ide-ide fenomenologis dapat diterapkan dalam studi agama, dan bagaimana agama dapat didefinisikan secara fenomenologis. Selain itu, beberapa implikasi etis metodologis juga dijelaskan jika ada studi fenomenologis agama. Dengan berpegang pada paradigma fenomenologi, diharapkan para peneliti agama akan dapat memperoleh etnografi fenomenologis yang maksimal dari 'agama' dan 'kepercayaan' masyarakat

Abstract:
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana pengalaman fenomenologis pengungsi Rohingya menyangkut kehidupan mereka dan interpretasi tentang kehidupan individu dalam kehidupan bersama pengungsi lainnya. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana interpretasi peneliti secara fenomenologis tentang permasalahan kehidupan masyarakat pengungsi Rohingya dalam memahami dunia kehidupannya. Metode penelitian studi literatur digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi fenomenologi Husserl pada konteks masyarakat pengungsi Rohingya memberikan kesadaran terhadap konteks global. Fenomenologi transendental membantu mengeksplorasi dimensi universal dari pengalaman manusia, sementara teori lifeworld menempatkan pengalaman individu dalam konteks sosial yang lebih luas, sehingga dihasilkan solusi dan intervensi yang lebih kontekstual dan berpusat pada kebutuhan masyarakat pengungsi Rohingya.

I denne artikkelen fokuserer jeg på kjerneelementet «Kunne ta andres perspektiv» som del av de nye kjerneelementene i fagene KRLE og Religion og etikk (RE). Jeg reflekterer over hvordan kritiske raseperspektiver og en fenomenologisk tilnærming kan utfordre og utvikle tankene og perspektivene som presenteres i kjerneelementet. Artikkelen gir en kort innføring i fenomenologi, med særlig vekt på Sara Ahmeds skeive fenomenologi, samt en begrunnelse for hvorfor fenomenologi er nyttig for KRLE- og RE-lærere. Den fenomenologiske undersøkelsen fordrer en forståelse av og innsikt i norsk kolonihistorie, og jeg gir overblikk over noen historiske linjer og hva dette innebærer i dag. Bevisstheten om denne historiske arven vil implementeres i en fenomenologisk undersøkelse av de nye kjerneelementene i KRLE og RE. Artikkelen viser hvordan de nye kjerneelementene er forankret i et sentralisert, hvitt perspektiv og hvilke utfordringer dette stiller lærere, elever og skolen overfor, og demonstrerer hvordan desentraliserte perspektiver kan bidra til å motvirke diskriminering og rasisme i KRLE- og RE-faget. Abstract:
The Kraftwerk music group from Dusseldorf, Germany, began to be famous since 1974. The prominent feature of the Kraftwerk is that they were trying to be the pioneer of the alteration from the acoustic and electric music into the electronic music. Their mission was dehumanizing the music to produce impersonal sounds and with the “musicians” which would rather be considered as machine tools than as human. The works of the Kraftwerk arguably became the blueprint for the sort of avantgarde music, the prototype for kinds of music that celebrated the shift from the sounds of the guitar strings and the human vocal into the sounds of strum combination. In sum, the main aim of the Kraftwerk was to fully merge with the technology, to stop playing the instruments, and let the instruments play themselves.

Abstract:
The paper suggests that we can usefully approach whiteness through the lens of phenomenology. Whiteness could be described as an ongoing and unfinished history, which orientates bodies in specific directions, affecting how they ‘take up’ space, and what they ‘can do’. The paper considers how whiteness functions as a habit, even a bad habit, which becomes a background to social action. The paper draws on experiences of inhabiting a white world as a non-white body, and explores how whiteness becomes worldly through the noticeability of the arrival of some bodies more than others. A phenomenology of whiteness helps us to notice institutional habits; it brings what is behind to the surface in a certain way.

Fenomenologin har sin grund inom filosofin och intresserar sig för att studera upplevelser och upplevelsen av personens mening, hur personen upplevde en viss händelse och vad personen upplevde. Syftet med den här studien är att studera den versionen av fenomenologi som beskrivs i kurslitteraturen som användes på kandidatprogrammet Socialpsykiatri på Malmö Universitet. Studien är en kvalitativ litteraturstudie. Fenomenologerna är intresserade av att gå tillbaka till själva upplevelsen och studera individens livs erfarenheter av respektive fenomen. Fenomenologin vill studera fenomen och upplevelser för att få ett holistiskt perspektiv av individen. Vid arbete med psykisk ohälsa vill fenomenologerna att den professionella ska ta hänsyn till personens egna livserfarenheter.
Phenomenology is based on philosophy and is interested in studying experiences and the experiences of the person´s meaning, how the person experienced a certain event and what the person experienced. The purpose of this study is to study the version of phenomenology described in the course literature used in the bachelor's program Social Psychiatry at Malmö University. The study is a qualitative literature study. The phenomenologists are interested in going back to the experience itself and studying the individual's life experiences of each phenomenon. Phenomenology wants to study phenomena and experiences in order to get a holistic perspective of the individual. When working with mental illness, the phenomenologists want the professional to take the person's own life experiences into account.

Abstract:
This thesis explores the phenomenon of touch and describes its meaning in the healthcare context. Caring science theory based on a lifeworld approach forms the theoretical perspective of the dissertation and consequently the patient perspective is guiding the research. The ontological, epistemological and methodological framework of the thesis is phenomenology. The overall aim was to describe the phenomenon of touch in the healthcare context. Touch showed to be a phenomenon with several diverse aspects being differentially explicit in different contexts. Four empirical studies were therefore conducted in different contexts. Further, a synthesis of the empirical results was carried out to show the invariant meanings and structure of the phenomenon. Furthermore, a philosophical illumination of the results was carried out to further deepen and expand the understanding of touch related to healthcare. The phenomenon of touch is described as a complex caring movement, as an interplay between lived bodies forming a foundation to understand health, suffering, well-being, and care. The results show how touch has the power to both alleviate the patients’ suffering and to experience joy and deep connectedness, as well as how touch can frighten and cause or worsen suffering. In order to take advantage of the caring potential, the person who touches must be fully present in all senses of the word. Caring touch of different kinds can never be reduced to a “method”. It is much more than a mechanical and static act or a treatment. Moreover, touch that is objectifying may be understood as an obstacle or detrimental for the caring relationship and well-being since it lacks the necessary pliable interpersonal room. Such touch creates distance and alienation rather than closeness, trust and togetherness. If the potential of touch for caring is to be used and the threat of non-caring warded off, then the intentionality of touch must be balanced visavi the existential vulnerability of the individual. Therefore carers need to be open and attentive to the lifeworld of the patients to enhance their health-processes and avoid hurting them.

I föreliggande litteraturöversikt behandlas bakomliggande fenomen till oreflekterat samt problematiskt smartphonebruk hos elever. Syftet med litteraturöversikten är att undersöka bakomliggande fenomen ur ett fenomenologiskt perspektiv och att synliggöra potentialen för ett fenomenologiskt förhållningssätt i bildundervisning. Forskningsfrågorna är: Vilka fenomen kan vara bakomliggande då eleven uppvisar svårighet till att lägga ifrån sig smartphonen under lektionstid? samt Hur skulle ett fenomenologiskt förhållningssätt kunna användas i bildundervisning?. Resultatet av litteraturöversikten redogör för de tre fenomenen fear of missing out, nomophobia och online identitet och hur dessa kopplas till den komplexa användningen av smartphones med effekter vilka kan påverka individens fysiska och mental hälsa. Vidare presenterar studien förslag till hur dessa fenomen kan hanteras inom en skolkontext samt förslag till inkludering av ett fenomenologiskt förhållningssätt i bildundervisning. Förslaget till fenomenologiskt förhållningssätt i bildundervisning är utvecklat från de metoder som använts i de undersökningar som granskats och bygger på en semistrukturerad uppgift där livsvärlden undersöks med hjälp av metaforer.

Abstract:
The Neolithic site Hedningahällan has, with its large amount of mixed ceramics and unique location on top of a steep rock face, been subject to a number of studies. This paper explores factors that may have motivated the location choice based on the landscape features. To investigate Hedningahällan from a landscape perspective could assist to provide a base for more directed and broader research questions alike. The main focuses of location choice factors that are the advantages of an elevated position. This is examined via Individual Distance Viewshed analysis which measures the ability to recognise and identify humans in a given topography, potential overview and availability of game animals and fish found. The study recreating the plausible past environment as well as the phenomenological experience of the landscape in combination with viewshed-analysis. The outcomes of the GIS-results are compared to four other Neolithic coastal settlements with finds of ceramics. Hedningahällan was located on a headland in a small, protected archipelago. The environment was likely an excellent habitat for many marine animals and fish as well as some land animals, however the elevated location of Hedningahällans does not seem primarily got get a good overview of game habitat. It does on the other hand provide a good overview of the surrounding landscape, especially towards the ocean, and that could have facilitated to identify humans that was closing in from the sea. Several Neolithic coastal settlements occur in connection to distinct rock formation such as erratic blocks or eye-catching cliffs, and although Hedningahällan is located upon exposed bedrock, its appearance is like that of a large erratic block. The area included in its viewshed also contains several impressive cobble fields. Phenomenological, contemporary, and ethnological analogies show that distinct rock features can hold emotional, mythological, and practical meanings.

Abstract:
I studien gjordes djupintervjuer med sex personer med konstnärligt kreativa yrken. Syftet var att undersöka den personliga upplevelsen av kreativitet hos individer som dagligen möter kreativitet i sitt yrke. Undersökningen var kvalitativ och en fenomenologisk infallsvinkel antogs. Frågeställningarna berörde de intervjuades känslomässiga och tankemässiga upplevelse av kreativitet, en kartläggning av de förutsättningar och begränsningar respondenterna uppfattade, samt deras syn på den kreativa processen. Resultatet i studien visade på en känslomässig dualism gällande skapandet, en upplevelse av plötslig helhet och ett flöde. Några tankemässiga teman togs upp av respondenterna gällande bland annat definitionen av begreppet kreativitet, fokus, inspiration, drivkrafter, identitet och kontroll. Publikens/kundens roll, yrkets ramar och samarbete var tre aspekter på kreativa förutsättningar och begränsningar. Slutligen framkom att den kreativa processen upplevdes bestå av hårt arbete, någon sorts aha-upplevelse, samt att förloppet snarare verkade vara spiral- eller vågformigt än linjärt.

Abstract:
This master thesis explores health as a primarily active process and what role theoretical and practical medicine should play in health. Health is divided up into four rooms: the room of the theoretician who works in medicine, the meeting between the theoretician and practician, the meeting between practician and patient, and lastly the individual’s cultural room. By phenomenologically unveiling the transmutation of life defined as death within the cartesian framework of mind-body dualism and its influences on modern Western medicine it becomes apparent that health as defined by biomedicine (lack of disease) is a problematic concept in regard to the experience of being ill in the individual’s room, which is the phenomenological starting point. In the West there exists a cultural tendency among both natural scientists and laypersons to use natural science and medical theory to explain and give meaning to individual diseases and healths, which has also lead to a cultural crisis in the ill individuals’ identity as the cartesian mind-body dualism is more complex than two opposing forces – it is more correct to describe this relation of mind and body identity as a ‘trialism’. The thesis mainly rests on the works of Drew Leder and Jenny Slatman; their works on health and illness in relation to cartesian dualism, and on their concepts of authentic materialism and differential materialism respectively, to formulate a phenomenological theory of health (from the room of the individual) understood as primarily an activity. It concludes that health within the individual’s room is an activity in the now that consists in accepting one’s bodily state and the choices one has made in life to land oneself in the body one now experiences. A healthy choice is grounded in a will to be one’s self, to be one’s own body, although one does not coincide with it. The role of practical medicine is to help the individual want to be themselves, their own body, – by working with the two concepts of health presented as the theoretical health (absence of disease) and the phenomenological (will to be oneself).

Abstract:
Syftet med denna studie är att jämföra KBT (kognitiv beteendeterapi) och fenomenologi ur ett återhämtningsinriktat perspektiv. Den mer klassiska synen gällande tillfrisknandet från psykisk ohälsa, kan ses i likställighet till att bli botad eller symptomfri. I opposition till denna syn betonas istället vikten, ur perspektivet återhämtning, av att skapa ett nytt liv genom främst en värdefull social gemenskap. Därav utgör den professionelles förmåga, att stötta sin klient utifrån dennes individuella behov, en hörnsten inom återhämtning. KBT är relevant inom socialpsykiatri, då det är en väl implementerad behandlingsmetod. Den syftar främst till att uppnå en beteendeförändring hos klienten, exempelvis genom att förändra kognitiva tankemönster. Bortsett från KBT, utgör fenomenologi en relevant del. Detta då fenomenologi är en erkänd filosofisk metod inom detta område, som skiljer sig i jämförelse med KBT då den ej utgår från en specifik metodologisk grund. Därav ligger intresset av att jämföra dessa inriktningar ur ett gemensamt fenomen, så som återhämtning. Denna jämförelse har resulterat i väsentliga skillnader mellan båda inriktningar. De skiljer sig främst åt gällande synen på den professionella rollen och dennes förhållningssätt, samt synen på mätbara framsteg. Ur ett fenomenologiskt perspektiv präglas den professionelles roll av dennes förmåga att förhålla sig följsam och neutral, i jämförelse med KBT som nästintill förespråkar en mer aktiv och engagerad professionell roll. Gällande klientens mätbara framsteg, skiljer sig det fenomenologiska perspektivet i jämförelse med KBT, genom synen på framsteg som icke-synliga eller märkbara men trots det meningsfulla.
The aim of this study is to compare CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy) and phenomenology through a recovery-oriented perspective. Recovery stands for an individual process, which can be seen in contrary to the more traditional view of being cured or symptom free, regarding mental illness. Instead of being cured for example, recovery emphasizes the process of constituting a new life, partially through a social community. A cornerstone in recovery is hence the practitioner’s ability to support its client, through her individual needs. CBT is relevant within the field of social psychiatry, since it is a well-implemented method of treatment. It mainly aims towards achieving a change of behavior, by addressing cognitive patterns. Phenomenology constitutes an acknowledged philosophical method in this field, but differs in the sense of not standing on a methodological base, as CBT. In this aspect lays the interest of comparing these methods through a common phenomenon, such as recovery. This comparison has resulted in a basic disparity between the two methods, predominantly regarding the view of the practitioner’s role and approach, as well as the perception of progress as measurable. The practitioner’s role, through a phenomenological perspective, features the ability to approach its client in a flexible and neutral manner, in opposition to a CBT-oriented practitioner, which advocates a more active and concerned approach. Regarding the clients progress as measurable, the phenomenological standpoint differs in comparison to CBT, through the perception of progress as being partly non-visible or noticeable but despite that meaningful.

Abstract:
The present study focuses on the phenomenology of the violent encounter, and is to be understood as the study of the violent encounter as a phenomenon, i.e. as experienced. The overall aim is to elucidate, analyse and describe violent encounters within psychiatric care as experienced by carers and patients. Moreover, the study aims at promoting the development of a phenomenological research approach in caring science in general and elucidating tacit caring knowledge in particular. The thesis includes three empirical studies and one methodological study. The research is guided by a phenomenological and lifeworld theoretical approach. Research data consist of narratives and qualitative interviews, as well as reenactment interviews with carers and patients. Data are analysed for meaning. The analysis and synthesis of meaning are aimed at openness and meaning sensitivity through a reflective attitude characterised by the intent to bridle the process of understanding. The goal of the analysis is to describe the general structure of the phenomenon and its meaning constituents. The result shows that violence and threat do not evolve in “naked” caring, characterised by encounters where carers are able to touch their patients at the same time as being touched, speaking both literally and figuratively. It is through “naked” caring and caring touch that the carers are able to reach the patients and to give undisguised invitations to genuine presence. The possibilities of touch rely on the carers’ capacity to be authentic and to genuinely wish well. Violence is on the contrary nourished by touch without caring intention, or non-touch, i.e. caring where the reciprocity of touching and being touched is missing between patients and caregivers. In the discussion, the different meanings of the violent encounter are related to the philosophy of Merleau-Ponty and Lévinas. The philosophical dimensions of touch are investigated and it is discussed how the “naked” encounter can be understood from a phenomenological ethical standpoint. The discussion focuses on the caregivers’ vulnerability and the high demands they are subjected to. It is also argued that a foundation of caring science is needed in caring practice in order to make possible a development of a caring attitude that prevents violence.

Metode fenomenologi dipergunakan untuk menggali dua dimensi: apa yang dialami subjek (subjek matter yang diteliti) dan bagaimana subjek memaknai pengalaman tersebut berkaitan dengan kenyamanan dalam Silimo. Teori yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Konsep Kenyamanan Amos Rapoport (1969), terkait dengan aspek: 1). Pemilihan lokasi, 2) Bahan bangunan, 3) Bentuk dan Struktur bangunan, 4). Organisasi ruang dengan konsep keluarga luas, dan 5). Privasi ruang. Hasil yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: Konsep Permukiman Silimo merupakan wujud simbol kenyamanan Suku Hubula di Lemah Baliem Papua. Apabila ditinjau dari ilmu pengetahuan, aset-aset bersejarah tersebut seharusnya dipreservasi dan dikonservasi agar jejak-jejak peradaban masa lalu dapat terus ditelusuri, sedangkan apabila ditinjau dari pariwisata, semakin banyak wisatawan yang datang artinya potensi rusaknya aset-aset bersejarah baik disengaja maupun tidak disengaja juga akan semakin tinggi, padahal sumbangan pendapatan daerah dari kunjungan wisatawan ini tergolong signifikan bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi kawasan dan dibutuhkan untuk mendanai penelitian dan peratawan situs terkait. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menggali sebuah model proses perancangan museum yang kontekstual dan sekaligus berfungsi untuk preservasi dan konservasi sekaligus mewadahi pariwisata. Metoda penelitian yang akan digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah gabungan dari interpretasi historis dan fenomenologi serta gabungan dengan metoda berpikir matematis untuk mendapatkan kemungkinan terbaik dalam merespon konteksnya.

The purpose of this article is to revisit the work of Bloomer and Moore (1977), in order to present the influences of the phenomenological current of thought in some of the more recent works of architectural and urbanism theorists, through which they approach the theme of corporeity. The methodology used involves an exploratory research on the subject, where a parallel is established between Bloomer and Moore with Careri (2014), Pallasmaa (2011) and Gehl (2013). It is observed as a common point in such works, the concern about the sensitive experience in the apprehension of architecture and corporal experience in the environment, as well as the understanding of how sensoriality and affectivity can influence in the lived spaces. Finally, the contributions of phenomenology in the field of architecture and urbanism are discussed, pointing to possibilities for future studies and the development of empirical procedures for urban research. Keywords: fenomenology, corporeity, memory, urban spaces. O objetivo desse artigo é revisitar a obra de Bloomer e Moore (1977), a fim de apresentar as influências da corrente fenomenológica de pensamento em algumas obras mais recentes dos teóricos de arquitetura e urbanismo, pelas quais abordam o tema corporeidade. A metodologia empregada envolve uma pesquisa exploratória sobre o tema, onde é estabelecido um paralelo entre Bloomer e Moore com Careri (2014), Pallasmaa (2011) e Gehl (2013). Observa-se como ponto em comum em tais obras, a preocupação com a experiência sensível na apreensão da arquitetura e vivência corporal no meio ambiente, bem como a compreensão de como a sensorialidade e a afetividade podem influenciar nos espaços vividos. Ao fim, são discutidas as contribuições da fenomenologia no campo da arquitetura e urbanismo, apontando para possibilidades de estudos futuros e o desenvolvimento de procedimentos empíricos de leituras urbanas. El presente trabajo quiere examinar los cambios operados en la familia, estructura clave de subsistencia, sociabilidad, afectividad y convivencia, por causa de la migración, tomando el caso de los países del Triángulo Norte de Centroamérica (Guatemala, El Salvador y Honduras) y su desplazamiento hacia los Estados Unidos. Se enfoca en el lapso comprendido entre finales de la década de 1970 e inicios de la década de 1980, período que abrió el ciclo más notable de la migración de los centroamericanos y que configura decididamente su transnacionalismo. Para ello, recurre a los conceptos inequidad y convivialidad no solo para analizar, desde su óptica, la fenomenología referida, sino también para proponer que en la familia subyace una correlación de inequidades y convivialidades en que la movilidad produce nuevos contextos de ese vínculo.

En este texto, se aborda la concepción existencial del conocimiento y se destaca la importancia de considerar al ser humano como parte integral de la experiencia científica. Se cuestiona la existencia de un bienestar subjetivo u objetivo separado de la experiencia personal y se plantea la necesidad de una comprensión epistemológica que reconozca la influencia del ser humano en la construcción del conocimiento. En vista de lo anterior, se mencionan expresiones actuales en psicología, como el “bienestar subjetivo” y la “evaluación objetiva”, y se plantea la pregunta de si existe algún bienestar que pueda ser reconocido por quienes lo experimentan. Se critica la idea de que la evaluación del bienestar se origine únicamente en el sentimiento de bienestar de un investigador que ha desarrollado una escala para medirlo; y a su vez se plantea la posibilidad de un “bienestar objetivo” que sea independiente de los asuntos individuales. Por último, se discute la terminología utilizada en el campo científico, como los términos “subjetivo” y “objetivo”, y se cuestiona si estos califican en el aspecto epistemológico. Por un lado, se argumenta que es necesario superar una postura epistemológica que excluye la presencia humana en los procesos científicos y se propone una comprensión más amplia y holística del conocimiento; por otro lado, se hace referencia a la fenomenología existencial de Heidegger y se sostiene que el conocimiento adquiere su sentido original desde el modo humano de ser. De tal manera, se plantea que el problema del conocimiento implica una discusión ontológica y se subraya que, al excluir la presencia humana en los procedimientos científicos, se limita y empobrece el conocimiento resultante.
