AbstrakFeodalisme muncul pada abad pertengahan sebagai dampak dari implementasi sistem vassal. Feodalisme tidak pernah hilang bahkan setelah era imperialisme telah berakhir. Sistem politik dan sosial yang sangat membanggakan hirarki manusia tersebut selalu hadir dalam kehidupan manusia, terutama di tempat tempat yang masih mengadopsi sistem tuan tanah. Dampak terbesar dari feodalisme adalah penghancuran nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dengan timbulnya diskriminasi yang tidak didasarkan pada prestasi seseorang, tetapi pada posisi dan kekuasaan seseorang. Kajian ini mendapati bahwa dalam novel berjudul Pipisahan, feodalisme menjadi pencetus timbulnya kelompok marginal dalam kehidupan masyarakat, terutama di lingkungan terkecil seperti keluarga. Dalam kajian tersebut, feodalisme terdapat dalam korpus berupa tuturan dan perilaku tokoh bapak mertua terhadap anak dan menantunya. Korpus tersebut dikaji berdasarkan pada konsep feodalisme berikut, antara lain, feodalisme Simorangkir, Reeser, dan Connell. Sementara itu, sisi maskulinitas dikaji berdasarkan konsep Humm sementara konsep tentang meme dilandasi pandangan Dawskins. AbstractFeudalism emerged in the middle ages as a result of the implementation of vassal system. Feudalism never disappear even after the era of imperialism has ended. Political and social system which is very proud of the human hierarchy is present in human life, especially in places that are still adopting the landlord system. The biggest impact of feudalism is destruction of human values with the incidence of discrimination which is not based on individual achievement, but on one's position and power. This study found that in the novel entitled Pipisahan, feudalism trigger the onset of marginalized groups in public life, especially in the smallest environments like family. In this study, feudalism contained in the corpus in the form of speech and behavior of the father figures of children and daughter-in-law. The corpus studied based on the concept of feudalism as follow; feudalism Simorangkir, Reeser, and Connell. Meanwhile, the concept of masculinity assessed based Humm, while the concept of the meme is based on Dawskins.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan feodalisme kasta tinggi pada masyarakat Ngada di Flores dalam novel Kemelut Kasta karya Aris Woghe.Feodalisme dimaksudkan di sini adalah stratifikasi sosial yang memberikan kekuasaan besar kepada kasta tinggi atau golongan bangsawan dibandingkan dengan golongan masyarakat lain. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan mimetik menurut teoretisi Abrams. Menurut Abrams, pendekatan mimetik adalah pendekatan terhadap karya sastra yang menitikberatkan perhatian pada kesemestaan masyarakat dan lingkungan sastra.Sedangkan teori kritik sastra yang digunakan adalah teori strukturalisme genetik menurut Lucien Goldmann.Menurut Goldmann, teori strukturalisme genetik menganalisis karya sastra dalam hubungannya dengan lingkungan masyarakat tempat asal-usul karya sastra tersebut. Karya sastra hanya dapat dipahami semata-mata dalam kaitannya dengan masyarakat dan lingkungannya.Sastrawan adalah wakil masyarakatnya, tetapi bukan sebagai subjek individual, melainkan sebagai subjek kolektif, subjek transindividual.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam novel Kemelut Kasta karya Aris Woghe terdapat praktik feodalisme yang dilakukan kasta tinggi atau golongan bangsawan terhadap masyarakat dari kasta rendah atau rakyat jelata.Praktik feodalisme itu mengekang kebebasan individu dan menghambat terbentuknya masyarakat yang terbuka, egaliter, dan demokratis.Tokoh Pak Lambert dan para tetua adat di Desa Manusolu yang mewakili kasta tinggi dalam novel ini memaksa dengan kekerasan agar anaknya Maria tidak boleh menikahi pemuda Simon yang berasal dari kasta rendah, padahal Maria dan Simon sudah menjalin percintaan yang tak dapat dipisahkan dan sudah mempunyai anak pula.Permasalahan dan kemelut antara kasta tinggi dan kasta rendah mewarnai keseluruhan cerita novel Kemelut Kasta ini.Hanya sayangnya, Simon yang mewakili kasta rendah dan dibantu Maria anak dari kasta tinggi, gagal mengikis arogansi praktik feodalisme dalam masyarakat Ngada di Flores karena para tokoh kasta rendah menerima begitu saja kenyataan pahit yang mereka alami bahkan terkesan pasrah.Novel ini berhasil baru pada tataran deskripsi praktik feodalisme kasta tinggi yang kejam terhadap kasta rendah, belum sampai pada tataran reformasiguna mengikis praktik feodalismeyang mengekang kebebasan individu dan menghambat terbentuknya masyarakat terbuka, egaliter, dan demokratis dalam masyarakat Ngada di Flores.

<p>Politik hukum pengaturan tentang orang yang telah bergeser dari pendekatan ras (golongan penduduk) menjadi kewarganegaraan pascakemerdekaan Indonesia adalah adalah ketentuan tentang subjek Hak Milik atas Tanah sebagaimana diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 5 tahun 1960 tentang Ketentuan Dasar Pokok-Pokok Agraria (UUPA). Melekat dalam ketentuan tersebut adalah persinggungan sistem kewarganegaraan dengan perkawinan campuran yang dalam iimpementasinya banyak menimbulkan permasalahan.</p><p>Telaaah konseptual/ilmiah ini bertujuan, pertama mengungkap nilai-nilai yang melatarbelakangi perubahan pengaturan tentang orang dari penggunaan pendekatan ras menjadi kewarganegaraan. Kedua, dasar perubahan pendekatan ras menjadi kewarganegaraan tersebut? Ketiga, menjelaskan ketentuan keselarasan subjek Hak Milik atas tanah dalam UUPA dengan politik hukum kewarganegaraan.</p><p>Hasil telah akademik/konseptual menunjukkan, pengaturan hukum tentang orang dengan menggunakan pendekatan ras ditaltarbelakangi oleh nilai-nilai feodalisme , individualisme serta bersifat diskriminatif antargolongan penduduk yang sengaja ditanamkan oleh kolonial. The journey of Nh. Dini in fighting symbolicism can be examined through the relationship between Nh. Dini as a writer and her work sentitled Jalan Bandungan. Dini as the author of the novel Jalan Bandungan by utilizing the concep to subjectivity that was conceived by SlavojŽižek. This research uses a qualitative method and Todorov's point of view analysis approach. The object o fthis research is the novel by Nh. Dini entitled Jalan Bandungan. This study uses data collection techniques with comprehensive reading anduses data analysis techniques by recording. The results of this study indicate that the subjectivity of Nh. Dini in writing the novel Jalan Bandungan is a radical actagainst the symbolic prisons of domestification and feudalism. The entireprocess of writing the novel Jalan Bandungan shows radicalactions Nh. Dini. The action gave rise to symbolic changes that surrounded Nh. Dini and simultane ously attract subjectivity Nh. Tokugawa governance is military rezime government in Japan during 17th to 19th century. The governance was led by a general or known as shogun helped by daimyo or the head of district governance or han. Shogun was held hereditary by Tokugawa family. Japan military governance applied tightened inspection for the people to maintain the power. One of well-known stratification community social system is shinokosho, which divided people into four social classes: military, farmer, trader, and artisan. The research will discuss problems in the effects of feodalism governance system towards the formation of social stratification system shinokosho. The research methods used are descriptive, analitic and qualitative. The result is that the application in this tightened system made people could not change status that finally made Tokugawa family hereditary could have the governance power for more than 250 years.

The French historian Marc Bloch is considered to be one of the masters of medieval history, particularly his creation Feudal Society has been an essential piece of work for everyone who desires a deeper understanding of the general feudal society. Bloch gives his readers a vivid and living picture of a society so far beyond our present that it is sometimes hard to keep in mind that this society is part of our legacy. At the same time Bloch endows his readers with the special historical outlook he and his successors has developed, the history of the mentalities. By reaching further back in time, to the Roman and Germanic cultures and the manorial system, he proves his point that the feudal society was build on the legacy of older structures and institutions. In the coming study I will disentangle the early feudal structure of power as Bloch has described it in his Feudal Society. The essence of this power structure is to find in the very characteristic tie between two men, the vassalage. It is therefore the nature of vassalage, with the heavily armed horseman and the relations between the lord and his vassal, which is going to be of primary importance for my study. In my quest for the vassalage´s spirit, Bloch´s underlying structures mentioned above will play a vital part in the understanding of this power structure that dominated the feudal society. If the reader keep this in mind the study’s name, Feudalism as a Phenomenon – The Peculiar Power in the Early Feudal Society, becomes clear.

Studien handlar om förklaringar av förändring hos några av de forskare med historiematerialistiska inslag som hade en framträdande roll på 1970- och 1980-talen. Övergången från feodalism till kapitalism och industriarbetarens roll i arbetsprocessen var två fält som var på tapeten under denna period, som kan härledas ur den radikala 68-rörelsen. Med sociologen Piotr Sztompkas systemmodell som teoretisk ram undersöktes Christer Winbergs, Maths Isacsons, Anders Floréns, Lars Olssons och Lars Ekdahls avhandlingar samt ett verk av Alf Johansson. Syftet var att utforska de teoretiska utgångspunkterna och slutsatserna i alstren. Svar söktes på vilka drivkrafter författarna anger till förändringarna i sitt material; var i systemet på mikro-, meso- eller makronivå dessa förändringar inträffar; och vad förändringarna leder till. Metoden kan kallas idéanalytisk. Feodalismen och kapitalismen transformeras (övergår till ett annat system, eller med Marx ord: socio-ekonomisk formation) respektive reproduceras extensivt i källmaterialet. Detta utifrån Sztompka. Drivkrafter till förändringarna anges vara överskottsproduktion, ökad efterfrågan på marknader, strävan efter kapitalackumulation (på grund av konkurrens på just marknaden), statliga angelägenheter, geografin och arbetarnas försörjningsbehov. Förändringarna äger rum i systemets sammansättning (såsom folkökningar, rekrytering av okvalificerad arbetskraft och uppkomsten av "halvlärda" arbetare), struktur (i form av differentiering av producenter och hierarkisk arbetsdelning), funktioner (främst gruppers eller klassers förhållande till produktionsmedlen och arbetarnas roll i arbetsprocessen) och gränser (såsom nya yrkestitlar, hopsättningen av nya ekonomiska grupper och igen de "halvlärda" arbetarnas uppkomst), i relationerna mellan eventuella subsystem (till exempel mellan såg och brädgård, sätteri och tryckeri eller kontors- och produktionsavdelningar) och i omgivningen utanför systemet (såsom årstidernas växling, nyodling och, åtminstone om mikroperspektiv gäller, ökad efterfrågan på marknader och arbetares försörjningsbehov). Den övergripande slutsatsen är att systemmodellen kan organisera förklaringar av historisk förändring schematiskt även när utgångspunkterna är något heterogena. Abstract:
In the wake of a heightened interest in the Swedish Middle Ages, the need for knowledge has increased as well. The Swedish Middle Ages was an era when the country truly began to grow closer to the European sphere of culture. The forces behind this transformation are largely to be sought among the social elite, the budding aristocracy of Sweden. The process of becoming “Europeans” brought with it great changes to Sweden, not the least in terms of the political arena. What was it that was so sought after by the Swedish aristocracy? What ideals and values lay behind the feudally inspired system of government and the chivalric code of conduct among the elite? In a general sense, the object of this investigation has been to try to understand and explore the ideological underpinnings of the new system of government and the new social order. In order to achieve this, I have used the Swedish chivalric chronicle known as Erikskrönikan as the source material for the investigation. It is believed to have been a propaganda piece for the Swedish aristocracy of the early 1300 hundreds and is, as such, a phenomenal source for researching the ideals and values of the Swedish aristocracy of that time. Thus, the purpose of this essay has been to investigate ideological underpinnings of the Swedish power elite of the first half of the 14th century by analysing their idealized self image and conception of society, as they appear in Erikskrönikan’s depiction of duke Erik and a few other key characters. Included in this is also an ambition to contextualize the results of the investigation by attempting to reconstruct the ideology for which Erikskrönikan is an expression. The intention has been to contribute a new perspective to the already extant research concerning the understanding of the new type of society brought forth in medieval Sweden.  The theoretical premise of this investigation has been a functional understanding of the concept of ideology. In this essay ideology is regarded as a system of ideas which expresses a given groups world views and norms, which reflects the social conditions of the group, and which is a declaration of that group’s interests and aspirations. The methodological basis has been a qualitative analysis of the text, where the depiction of selected characters from the text has been the main object of investigation. The focus has been on identifying which characteristics are portrayed as ideal and which are portrayed as are anti ideal within the text. On an analytical level this investigation has included the use of the concepts “manifest ideology” and “latent ideology” as tools of analysis. In this way it has been possible to uncover the ideals and values of the aristocracy, as expressed in Erikskrönikan, both in terms of what is articulated explicitly and what is implied. In terms of results this investigation has rendered them in abundance. Among the most revealing and relevant findings are: the emphasis put on the vassal system, the chivalrous virtues and the staunch declaration about the superiority of elective kingship. These are all examples of recurring themes which are communicated with a clear didactic intent. Furthermore, I have also been able to show that the code of chivalry was not considered a varnish to cover the blemishes of an imperfect society, but a way of relating to reality and to the surrounding world. The tangible functions of the code of chivalry in society can be understood as having been of two kinds: on the one hand, the code of chivalry was a way of reigning in and channelling the destructive potential of the use of violence; and on the other hand, the code of chivalry was a way for the aristocracy, indeed the Swedish chivalry, to communicate and reaffirm their social standing, both internally and externally.

L'albigeois medieval forme un champ privilegie pour l'observation de certains phenomenes structurels du moyen age. Apres l'essor economique et demographique, lent et obscur, posterieur au viie siecle, le systeme feodal s'instaure dans cette region par une mutation rapide et profonde entre 980 et 1070. La reforme "gregorienne" apparait comme l'un des effets de cette mutation. La ville s'affirme element organique du systeme feodal, complementaire de la campagne, et tres largement dependante de celle-ci pour sa vitalite economique. Un signe : la construction des cathedrales meridionales est financee par les dimes rurales. L'evolution du systeme feodal entraine des desequilibres sociaux et s'accompagne de l'essor du catharisme. Ce dernier, toutefois, se limite a la chevalerie et aux elites urbaines. Ni populaire, ni national, il s'efface, avant tout, grace a la reconquete spirituelle operee par les ordres mendiants. Le gothique toulousain, dont la cathedrale d'albi marque l'epanouissement, constitue l'une des reponses donnees a l'heresie. La subordination economique de la ville a la campagne et le caractere fondant de la population urbaine a partir de 1320 favorisent l'association d'albi au regime monarchique, dont les modeles culturels inspirent le decor interieur de la cathedrale
The albigeois region provides a privileged field of observation for certain mediaeval structural phenomena. After the economic growth, having developed gradually and inconspicuously, which began during the viith century, the feudal system took hold in the region, between 980 and 1070, through a rapid and profound mutation. The gregorian reform seems to be one of the effects of this change. The town appears as an organic element of the feudal system, a complement to the countryside, and very dependent upon it for its economic vitality. A sign of this is the fact that the building of cathedrals in southern france was financed by rural lithes. The evolution of the feudal system brought with it social imbalance, accompanied by the rise of catharism, which however was limited to knights and to the urban elites. Neither popular nor national, it disappeared, largely due to the spiritual conquest carried out by the mendicant orders. The toulousan gothic style, of which albi cathedral is the finest example, constituted one of the ways of reacting against the heresy. The economic subordination of town to country, and the unstable and shrinking nature of the urban population from 1320 onwards, contributed to albi's association with the monarchie regime, the cultural models of which inspired the interior decoration of the cathedral

Cette these de doctorat d'etat intitulee "recherches sur le reggimento e costumi di donna de francesco da barberino", fait figure de plaidoyer en faveur de la coherence non plus entre l'ecriture et l'action d'un personnage (ce fut le premier temps de notre recherche presentee sous forme de doctorat de 3eme cycle), mais entre l'oeuvre et son temps. Coherence que nous nous sommes efforcee de demontrer au niveau le plus apparent de la concordance entre le traite et le cadre qui l'a vu naitre, puis au niveau plus souterrain de la similitude des demarches politique, juridique et philosophique dont fait preuve la construction du traite. L'interpretation que nous donnons de la dynamique de l'oeuvre, resultant d'une double discontinuite de fond et de forme, est celle d'un temoignage d'hesitation. Le reggimento e costumi di donna se veut a la fois l'echo de la prise de conscience qui a produit le thomisme, en tant que revalorisation de l'humain, et de la degenerescence consecutive, en termes d'individualisme, de l'homocentrisme primitivement triomphant. Ce traite a l'usage des femmes, est a lui seul, tel est le sens de notre demonstration, le resume d'un moyen age pre-humaniste qui voit parallelement la substitution d'une conception ascendante, laique, du pouvoir ("particularia regimina") a une conception descendante, divine ("monarchia") respectivement theorisees par l'ecole des commentateurs et des glossateurs, et le glissement de la systematisation thomiste, securisante, a l'atomisation defiante de l'ockhamisme. Le reggimento e costumi di donna rend l'echo du changement de cap specifique de la fin du xiiie siecle: d'universaliste, la pensee medievale devient particulariste
This doctorate thesis, entitled "research on reggimento e costumi di donna by francesco da barberino", presents the case for finding consistency, not so much between the written work and the activity of a character (as in the first phase of our research presented as a ph. D. ), as between the work and its period. We have endeavoured to show this consistency in its most obvious form, ie the close parallel between the treatise and the circumstances in which it originated and, further, at the more subjacent level of the similarity between the political, legal and philosophical procedures conveyed by the construction of the work. Our interpretation of the forces behind the treatise, which emerge from the twofold discontinuity of content and form, is one of hesitancy. "reggimento e costumi di donna" sets out to be at one and the same time a reflexion of the awareness which produced thomism, as a revalorisation of the human element, and the degeneracy, in terms of individualism, resulting from the initial triumph of homocentrism. This treatise, intended for women, is in itself - according to our demonstration - the epitome of a pre-humanist mediaeval period during which we find at the same time the substitution of an ascending, secular conception of authority ("particularia regimina") for an descending, divine conception ("monarchia") - these theories being represented respectively by the school of commentators and glossators - and a shift from the reassuring systematisation of thomism to the distrusful atomisation of ockhamism. "reggimento e costumi di donna" reflects the specific change of course at the end of the xiiith century, when mediaeval thought, abandoning universalism, turns to particularism

Bu bildirinin konusu, ilki 2017 yılında gösterime girmiş olan yeni Örümcek-Adam film serisinde temsil edilen ‘çalışma kültürüdür’. Bildiride serinin ikinci filmi olan Örümcek-Adam: Evden Uzakta (2019, Jon Watts) filmine odaklanılmaktadır. Teknolojinin ve kapitalizmin küresel ölçekte örgütlenme biçimlerinin, yerel ve bireysel ölçekte eşitsizlikleri arttırdığı, teknoloji şirketlerinin tekeller oluşturmasının toplumsal olarak feodalizme benzer sonuçlar yarattığına yönelik eleştiriler, 1990’lı yıllardan itibaren ileri sürülmekle birlikte, 2020’li yıllarda Popüler Kültürde dile getirilir olmuştur. Yeni Örümcek-Adam film serisi (2017-2021), bir yandan kapitalizmin teknolojik biçimine yönelik eleştirel bir yaklaşım sunan, diğer yandan eleştirdiği olguların meşrulaştırılmasına hizmet eden hegemonik nitelikte kültürel metinlerdir. Bildiride Örümcek-Adam: Evden Uzakta filminin sosyolojik ve ideolojik bir eleştirisinin sunulması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda niteliksel bir çalışma yürütülecek olup, filmdeki temsil, söylem ve filmin anlatısı ve karakterler arasındaki ilişkiler başlıca veriler olarak kabul edilecektir. Çalışmada araştırılacak olan başlıca sorular aşağıda sıralanmıştır: 1. Filmde teknokapitalizmin şekillendirdiği toplumsal yapının özelliklerinin nasıl temsil edilmiştir? 2. Filme göre teknokapitalist toplumsal yapıda hangi kültürel değerler önceliklidir? 3. Filmde Teknofeodalizme dair nasıl bir kodlama söz konusudur? Filmde Küreselleşme ve Teknofeodalizm arasındaki ilişkiye dair söylem nasıl inşa edilmiştir? Çalışmanın popüler bir kültür ürününün güncel ve küresel düzeyde toplumsal sorunlarla ilgili bir analizinin sunulmasıyla film çalışmaları alanına katkı sağlayacağı umulmaktadır.
