Abstract:

On a scientific expedition to Ayer Hitam Forest Reserve at Muar, Johor, Malaysia, 71 fern species belonging to 16 families and 25 genera were collected and identified. Fifty-one of the ferns are native to Peninsular Malaysia while the remaining 20 are non-native. Five newly recorded fern species in Johor, Southern Peninsular Malaysia, namely Angiopteris helferiana, Lindsaea trichomanoides, Lomariopsis brackenridgei, Pteris umbrosa and Pteris cretica were briefly described.

The genera Mohria and Anemia (Anemiaceae: Pteridophyta) can be separated on both their sporangia and spores. In Mohria the capsule is globose with an apical annulus but in Anemia it is ovate-globose to cylindrical with a subapical annulus. Introdução: Ostomia que significa “boca/abertura” é um procedimento cirúrgico realizado para abertura de um órgão oco que mantém comunicação com o meio externo, sendo indicado para evacuação e a eliminação de fezes, flatos e/ou urina. Modificando a qualidade de vida dos pacientes, mudanças na rotina de atividades físicas, sociais. Isto, porque a reabilitação e fixação da bolsa fixada no abdômen altera a autopercepção da imagem corporal, podendo afetar diversas áreas da vida desse indivíduo. Objetivo: Compreender as evidências científicas sobre os aspectos que interferem na qualidade de vida dos pacientes ostomizados. Método: realizado estudo exploratório de Revisão Narrativa da Literatura. Para a realização desse estudo, foram consultadas no banco de dados: LILACS, PUBMED e MEDLINE. Utilizou-se os Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS) de forma associada “ostomia”, “qualidade”, “vida”, “mudanças”. Os critérios de inclusão foram: artigos disponibilizados na íntegra, disponíveis nos idiomas português, espanhol e inglês e publicados entre os anos de 2018 e 2022. Foram selecionados 8 estudos para esta revisão. Resultados e Discussão: Ostomia, procedimento cirúrgico que pode ser temporário ou permanente para a eliminação, afim de proporcionar alivio de alguma patologia e/ou lesão intestinal. Afetando a fisiologia intestinal e também o psicológico, o não reconhecimento da imagem corporal, vergonha, atividades físicas e aspectos sociais. Porém, a forma como a situação é lidada no cotidiano é que determinar como a experiência da ostomia vai ser, variando conforme o grupo social do indivíduo, a cultura e condições socioeconômicas. Conclusão: Portando, nota-se as alterações na vida de pessoas que tem experiência com o uso da bolsa de colostomia. A fisionomia das pessoas muda, as relações com outras pessoas são cortadas, o estado físico e o emocional passa por alterações, mudando toda a qualidade dos pacientes. Por ser algo novo no corpo a adaptação é difícil devido a aceitação e os sentimentos envolvidos, tornando-se um fardo ter que conviver com a bolsa coletora.

Abstract:

Introdução: A promoção da saúde no contexto do projeto de extensão atua contribuindo com o desenvolvimento do modo de pensar e intervir, favorecendo assim a construção e desenvolvimento de estratégias e possibilidades que contribuem para a melhora das necessidades na saúde da comunidade. A escola representa um ambiente educacional e social propício para se trabalhar conhecimentos e mudanças de comportamento. O objetivo desse relato de experiência foi evidenciar a importância da realização de atividades de orientação para adolescentes residentes em um colégio técnico. Metodologia: Trata-se de um relato de experiência de graduandas dos cursos de odontologia e enfermagem da Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI), sobre as atividades desenvolvidas ao longo de um projeto de extensão que ocorreu durante os meses de março de 2019 a fevereiro de 2020 no Colégio Técnico de Teresina da UFPI. O estudo obedeceu aos preceitos éticos de acordo com a Resolução 466/2012, e foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa (UFPI) com o protocolo de número 107557/2016. Resultados e discussão: As atividades desenvolvidas tiveram foco na promoção e prevenção em saúde para os alunos residentes, sendo a primeira sobre imunização, com campanha de vacinação aos alunos. Concomitantemente ocorreu a atividade sobre saúde bucal afim de orientar sobre as melhores práticas e, posteriormente, sobre o Bullying em formato de “Cinema”, possibilitando a interação e participação dos adolescentes acerca do tema. Conclusão: As atividades realizadas confirmam o propósito de contribuir com a integração e evolução na formação dos estudantes e bolsistas. Além de contribuir para a promoção e prevenção de saúde dos adolescentes residentes no colégio técnico.
