Abstract:
In this paper, we describe the procedure for the implementation of the PID controller in the Festo CDPX operator unit. These units enable the execution of the control algorithm and human machine interface in a single unit. In our laboratory the unit is used to teach the students about the basics of control systems. For this purpose, one of the most common closed loop control systems for the education purposes was selected. It is a water level control system. In this paper the design of the whole system is presented. The need for a PI control algorithm is also explained. The programming of the operator unit CDPX, both in Festo CoDeSys and Designer Studio is explained. Such a simple system has turned out to be a great educational tool for Control Theory and Programmable Logic Controller related subjects.

The function of this manipulator will be a transposition of the chaffs of glass from the supply table to the haul. This manipulator check by calculations. RPK is the cutting machine for the circular-shaped cutouts, from which the saucers are made. Everything will be operated automatically, position of a handling moulding will be located by the sense organs and everything will be controlled by the automat, which was already designed by the firma FESTO FEC 30.

Abstract:
El siguiente trabajo presenta la aplicación de la metodología VDI 2206 para el diseño de un sistema buffer para incrementar la capacidad de almacenamiento de un Robotino de la marca Festo teniendo en cuenta su aplicación dentro del laboratorio de automatización en el pabellón O. Para realizar el objetivo planteado, se realizó la búsqueda de información o estado del arte del problema. Posteriormente se planteó la lista de exigencias que debe cumplir el diseño conceptual del sistema. Se procede a abstraer el sistema como una caja negra, de la cual se aprecian solamente las entradas y salidas tanto en materia, información y energía. Luego, se realiza la estructura de funciones, en el cual el sistema es separado en diferentes subsistemas, los cuales son disgregados en funciones específicas las cuales pertenecen cada una a un subsistema. Se describen las relaciones entre dichas funciones al mostrar como la materia, información y energía “viaja” entre ellas. Una vez descrita la estructura de funciones, se plantea la matriz morfológica en la cual se muestra diferentes posibilidades para cada una de las funciones de la estructura de funciones. Realizando diferentes combinaciones de dichas posibilidades se obtiene tres diferentes conceptos de solución, los cuales son evaluados para determinar el concepto de solución óptimo.

This diploma thesis deals with the optimization of the process of matching the bearing components. The work contains a description of Codesys programming environment, its structure, usable languages and some examples of usage. The main part of the thesis describes a series of algorithms that provide the necessary actions for one of two processed pairing approaches. These algorithms are subsequently implemented as subprograms in the Codesys environment. The necessary inputs and outputs are part of the proposed algorithms as well as processed subroutines.

This thesis describes the implementation of a Digital Twin tied to Virtual Reality environment thatcould, by easy means be expanded to Augmented Reality-solution. The field is of interest due to thefact that movement into Industry 4.0 puts the traditional operator in a new seat of work. Previoushands-on tasks are replaced with system monitoring and supervision roles. New interconnectedindustrial hardware allows for extensive data collection, while interactive technology like VR/ARhelps monitoring live systems in completely new manners. An operator can overview and debugindustrial systems while not even being in close proximity of the physical system. This provides theopportunity to increase the level of system information presented to the operator. The Cyber PhysicalFactory created by Festo was targeted to be represented as a digital twin. The question asked: What arethe advantages and/or disadvantages of monitoring and troubleshooting a Festo CP-Factory by meansof a digital twin-driven visualization? proved to be extensive and the work included mapping ofimportant factory data and DRM-research to find visual improvements between the provided solutionsby Festo, and an implemented digital twin. The solution we produced focuses on overview anddebugging and it connects to OPC-servers on each mapped module of the Cyber Physical Factory andacquires the data. This data can then be used to expand, test and debug previous sessions. Each realimplementation of a factory has some type of logging of data, our solution allows visualization of thoselog entries as close to reality as possible, reducing the need to search databases for indications ofproblems. The Unity 3D created software also handles dynamic connections where the operator canmodify which nodes to connect to in an intuitive way, this enables our software to abstract and modifyinformation outside of the source code.

Die Lotzdorfer Schule und der 2015 durch Brandanschlag zerstörte Lotzdorfer Gasthof nahmen im dörflichen Leben immer eine zentrale Stellung ein. Jubiläen der Schule waren Anlass zu Heimatfesten, Festumzügen, Volksfesten und waren auch für die Dorf-Entwicklung und Dorfgemeinschaft wichtig. Bereits die historischen Schulen als Vorläufer der heutigen Ludwig-Richter-Schule Lotzdorf waren immer Ausgangspunkt vielfältiger Aktionen. Die hiermit vorgestellte Chronik der Schulfeste und Ereignisse mit vielen Fotodokumenten, spiegelt eine Dorfgemeinschaft wider, die mit bewunderungswürdigen Aktionen immer wieder ihr Dorf auf hohem Niveau feierte, auch über die sogenannte „Wendezeit“ nach 1989 hinaus. Es ist Tradition geblieben, dass sich bis heute, zu gemeinsamen Klassentreffen der gesamten Schule, die Schüler aller Jahrgänge zu einem großen Fest vereinen und auch von überall her an ihre einstige Schule, in ihr Dorf kommen.

The paper presents an overview of the latest technology trends in pneumatic automatization at Festo, focusing on digitalization from a component to a system level. The Festo Motion Terminal (VTEM) is valve terminal, designed for digitalization. Unique valve unit design allows valve functions to be defined by a software and to be changed in a running system very quickly, even on the fly. Model based applications on a valve controller offer many advanced functionalities such as: pneumatic servo positioning, force and torque control of pneumatic drives and pressure or flow regulation in pneumatic systems. VTEM native connectivity with higher order controllers adds a possibility to seamlessly integrate it on all levels, from the field to the cloud. User control logic and/or AI algorithms in a combination with digitalized pneumatics allows new services, such as: auto-commissioning, predictive maintenance, increased energy efficiency, automatic leakage detection within pneumatic systems and many others.
