The paper presents modern approaches to drug therapy for the most common pathology of the mammary glands – fibrocystic mastopathy. The most effective method of conservative treatment of fibrocystic mastopathy in patients of reproductive age is herbal medicine using drugs with anti-estrogenic effects. The indications were determined and the pharmacological action and effectiveness of the drug Mladomaston were assessed. It has been shown that with a 3-month course of administration, the drug provides sufficient effectiveness, expressed primarily in the reduction of pain in the mammary glands and

Abstract:
The successes of psychosomatic medicine have led to the identification of a connection between psychotraumatic factors and diseases such as stomach ulcers, bronchial asthma, hypertension, etc. Psychotropic drugs and psychotherapy have long been used in the complex therapy of these diseases. However, in the treatment of dyshormonal mastopathy (fibroadenosis, nodular fibrocystic mastopathy, fibrotizing adenosis), hormone therapy and surgery still dominate. Meanwhile, the connection between dyshormonal mastopathy and the mental sphere of patients is obvious, but little studied.

Effects of long-acting contraceptives on mammary glands of patients with diffuse fibrocystic mastopathy were under study. A total of 206 women aged 17 to 38 were examined. In 50 of them fibrocystic mastopathy was detected by palpation, noncontrast mammography, and ultrasonic examination. On days 5-7 of the cycle the patients were injected 1 ml of depot prover or noristerate or subcutaneously implanted norplant. Injections of the two former agents were repeated in 3 months if necessary. Control examinations were carried out 3 months to 5 years after the contraceptives were started. The results

Nowadays, hormonal imbalance is proven to be a factor that influences initiation of malignant and benign breast tumors. To study the aspects of participation of sex hormones in damage to organs and tissues, it may be necessary to model a common womens pathology fibrocystic disease of mammary glands characterized by the most pronounced effects of this pathogenetic factor, on experimental animals.
Aim. To create a model of fibrocystic disease of mammary gland with the subsequent possibility of studying morphological manifestations of the disease in natural and drug-induced pathomorphism.&#
