Abstract:
The study of physics requires the definition of general characteristics such as the so-called fundamental properties of space and time, which are homogeneity and isotropy. From the application of the homogeneity of time in the integral equations of the movement arises the theorem of the conservation of energy. That the parameter of variation be time leads to defining energy as scalar.
Relativistic mechanics has shown that time is one of the dimensions of a tetra-dimensional space and, therefore, an event is projected in the spatial and temporal dimensions, this projection varies accordin

A hypothesis is suggested that the fields associated with macroscopic bodies, such as classical electromagnetic and gravitational fields, acceleration field, pressure field, dissipation field, strong interaction field and weak interaction field, are the manifestations of a single general field. Using the generalized four-velocity as the four-potential of the general field, with the help of the principle of least action it is shown that each of these seven fields contributes linearly to the formation of the total four-force density. The integral theorem of the vector field energy is derived in a covariant way, according to which under certain conditions the potential energy of the system’s field turns out to be half as large in the absolute value as the field’s kinetic energy associated with the four-potential of the field and the four-current of the system’s particles. Thus, the integral theorem turns out to be the analogue of the virial theorem, but with respect to the field rather than to the particles. Using this theorem, it becomes possible to substantiate the fact that electrostatic energy can be c

From the principle of least action the equation of motion for viscous compressible and charged fluid is derived. The viscosity effect is described by the 4-potential of the energy dissipation field, dissipation tensor and dissipation stress-energy tensor. In the weak field limit it is shown that the obtained equation is equivalent to the Navier-Stokes equation. The equation for the power of the kinetic energy loss is provided, the equation of motion is integrated, and the dependence of the velocity magnitude is determined. Abstract Energy is an important crosscutting concept across middle and high school grades. However, studies show that students struggle understanding this concept. To address this problem, we started a design-based research project called “the energy field approach” (EFA). This project develops a teaching learning sequence (TLS) for high schools (grades 10-12). The design follows the model of educational reconstruction and builds on a clarification of the scientific content as well as on knowledge about students’ conceptions and misconceptions on the relevant topic. This master thesis introduces a new technology applicable to nearly all mobile and portable electrical devices since all of them need energy to operate. This thesis attempts to cut the last wire - this one the wire to the primary power source. This energy is transferred to and will be stored inside the mobile device where nothing but a small and simple secondary circuit has been placed.

In this work we test a cosmological model with an interaction between dark energy and dark matter, where a tachyon scalar field plays the role of dark energy. With that in mind, we developed a numerical code that solves the background equations and extracts the cosmological parameters and we compared the results of the interacting tachyon model with those of other dark energy candidates. Our results show that the model indeed explains the observational data and has interesting cosmological properties, but might face challenges when compared to other dark energy candidates.<br>Neste trabalho te
