Abstract:
In June 2018, the presence of one adult specimen and one egg cluster of the North-American oak lace bug Corythucha arcuata were recorded near the village of Mužla, close to the Danube River, in southern Slovakia. They were found on leaves of Quercus cerris growing in a mixed stand. In August 2018, other specimens (nymphs and adults) were observed on Quercus robur leaves, near Čičarovce, in eastern Slovakia. This is the first record of C. arcuata in our country. The oak lace bug probably reached us while invading from Hungary, where heavy infestation is reported from several parts of the countr

(Uploaded by Plazi for the Bat Literature Project) Herein we present a geographical review to the genus Glyphonycteris in Ecuador. We confirm the first record for G. sylvestris for the country, which extends its range about 680 km southwest of the nearest previously known record. This first record belongs to an individual captured in Sangay National Park, Morona Santiago province, eastern slopes of the Andes. We also review the records of G. daviesi deposited in scientific collections and mentioned in literature, report a new record from west of the Andes, and present a distribution map.

In efforts to record fungal biodiversity of Pakistan, specimens of genus Bolbitius Fr., namely B. coprophilus (Peck) Hongo, collected from two different localities with arid to semi-arid climate of Punjab province, have been described and identified based on morphological and ITS-nrDNA sequence data. The genus is not quite common in Pakistan since only one species of Bolbitius has been reported so far. In current study, B. coprophilus is presented as a new record and second report of the genus from the country after 40 years. Distribution records of B. c

Abstract:
Three specimens of Stephanopachys quadricollis (Marseul, 1878) were recently found in Malta in UV light traps and represent the first record of this species for this country. Although S. quadricollis is native to the Mediterranean basin, it is not yet clear if these Maltese records are due to a natural population or to an interception. Distributional, nomenclatural and biological data on this species are summarized, and a new synonymy is established: Stephanopachys quadricollis (Marseul, 1879) = Stephanopachys quadraticollis Kocher, 1956, syn. n.

Abstract:
The terrestrial gastropod family Thysanophoridae is reported herein for the first time from Brazil. The new record stems from a 2015 survey in the Reserva Biológica de Pedra Talhada, a protected Atlantic Forest fragment in Alagoas state, in the northeastern part of the country. Only two empty juvenile shells were found, and the specimens can be tentatively identified as Thysanophora cf. plagioptycha (Shuttleworth, 1854). Given the location is a reserve, this is potentially a natural occurrence and not a case of introduction.

The species has been previously observed in eastern Panama, but this is the first record for the southwestern region of the country.
