Abstract:
Surabaya locomotive warehouse is one part of the company PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) as a place to store spare parts for repair and maintenance purposes, especially locomotives. The implementation of these inspections and repairs, of course, requires spare parts to facilitate the maintenance process which generally spare parts are placed in storage or warehouses. The problem in the Surabaya locomotive warehouse is that the arrangement of spare parts for bin boxes for each type of group is not always fixed so that the search becomes a bit hampered. This study aims to review the repair of bin box spare parts placement on a regular basis by using the First-In First-Out (FIFO) approach to sort bin box spare parts based on their movement flow. Based on the results of the analysis, the classification of bin boxes in each type of spare parts rack group based on the flow of movement in sequence is fast moving, medium moving, and slow moving. In the fast moving spare parts bin boxes are placed on the bottom row of shelves, bin boxes that have medium moving spare parts are placed on the second and third rows of shelves. Meanwhile, bin boxes that have slow-moving spare parts will be placed on the top shelf. After classifying the spare parts in the bin box, an addressing area is made on each row of the rack to determine the location of the spare part position.

Abstract:
Current work in the evolution of language and communication is emphasising a close relationship between the evolution of speech, language and gestural action. This paper briefly explores some evolutionary implications of a range of closely related impairments of speech, language and gesture arising from left frontal brain lesions. I discuss aphasic lexical speech automatisms (LSAs) and their resolution with some recovery into agrammatism with apraxia of speech, an impairment of speech planning and programming. I focus attention on the most common forms of LSAs, expletives and the pronoun+modal/aux subtype, and propose that further research into these phenomena can contribute to the debate. I briefly discuss recent studies of progressively degenerating neurological conditions resulting in progressive patterns of cognitive impairments that promises to provide insight into the evolutionary relationships between speech, language and gesture.

Abstract:
This paper examines whether the order in which Dutch emigrants in the English-speaking part of Canada lose their first language is the reverse of that in which Dutch-speaking children first acquire their mother tongue. This idea, captured in the regression hypothesis, has not been extensively tested so far. Through an experimental research design, the study shows that regression does obtain in the case of morphology, but that syntax is more dominated by second language influence from English. The results furthermore indicate that regression is a much more subtle phenomenon than has previously been assumed with attriters showing more parallels with advanced L1 acquirers than with children in the initial stages of their linguistic development.

Abstract: This paper deals with the designing and verification of first in first out (fifo) using verilog. A FIFO is a memory queue which controls the data flow between two modules. It has the capacity to trigger different flags according to the status of the FIFO such has empty fifo status, half read fifo status, half written fifo status, full fifo status. Both the reading and writing operation can be performed simultaneously as it has dual port memory. After the completion of designing and simulating it on xilinx vivado this report also covers the verification carried out in modelsim. A detailed discussion on the architecture of each module that is writing module, reading module and memory array along with the various test benches and waveforms of simulation and verification is included in the paper.

In the supply chain of perishable food products, large losses are incurred between farm and fork. Given the limited land resources and an ever-growing population, the food supply chain is faced with the challenge of increasing its handling efficiency and minimizing post-harvest food losses. Huge value can be added by optimizing warehouse management systems, taking into account the estimated remaining shelf life of the product, and matching it to the requirements of the subsequent part of the handling chain. This contribution focuses on how model approaches estimating quality changes and remaining shelf life can be combined in optimizing first-expired-first-out cold chain management strategies for perishable products. To this end, shelf-life-related performance indicators are used to introduce remaining shelf life and product quality in the cost function when optimizing the supply chain. A combinatorial exhaustive-search algorithm is shown to be feasible as the complexity of the optimization problem is sufficiently low for the size and properties of a typical commercial cold chain. The estimated shelf life distances for a particular batch can thus be taken as a guide to optimize logistics.

Abstract: The student advising application that utilizes the First In First Out (FIFO) algorithm has been successfully integrated with the Thesis and Final Project Information System (SISINTA) and the Administrative Information System (SIADMIN). This application manages the advising process by following the laboratory room scheduling workflow, starting with schedule input by the room staff, time plotting by the faculty, and student reservations. The FIFO algorithm ensures a fair and transparent advising order. The waterfall development method includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The application supports reservation, verification, monitoring, and scheduling features, and operates 100 percent as expected, enhancing efficiency and transparency. Abstrak: Aplikasi pembimbingan mahasiswa yang menggunakan algoritma First In First Out (FIFO) telah berhasil terintegrasi dengan Sistem Informasi Skripsi dan Tugas Akhir (SISINTA) serta Sistem Informasi Administrasi (SIADMIN). Aplikasi ini mengelola proses bimbingan dengan mengikuti alur penjadwalan ruang laboratorium yang dimulai dari input jadwal oleh petugas ruangan, plotting waktu oleh dosen, hingga reservasi oleh mahasiswa. Algoritma FIFO memastikan urutan bimbingan yang adil dan transparan. Metode pengembangan waterfall yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain, implementasi, dan pengujian. Abstract:
First-In-First-Out cores (FIFOs) are memory storage elements that are used in digital systems for buffering data through a system for later processing. This paper presents the design and implementation of a General Purpose FIFO Core which allows adjustment of the capacity along with the size of each data word. Status indicators were provided to indicate whether or not the FIFO was empty, half-full, or full. The number of data words stored in the FIFO was also indicated by designated output ports of the system. A status flag was also available to indicate when the size reached a predetermined threshold value. A separate interface was provided that allowed the data at any address to be accessed for reading. It was also possible to write a data word to the back of the FIFO while another data word was read from the front simultaneously. The FSM-D architectural model was applied to the design of the FIFO Core and the implementation was done in VHDL using the Xilinx ISE 14.7. The implemented core was simulated using ISim Logic Simulator of the Xilinx ISE platform, and it was found that the system core behaved as specified by the test cases.

Hambatan dan kendala lain yaitu barang yang keluar tidak sesuai dengan barang yang masuk dahulu sehingga banyak ditemui barang yang telah lama masih tersimpan digudang, akibatnya barang tersebut kadaluarsa dan tidak dapat dijual lagi. Agar permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi maka perlu adanya sistem komputerisasi yang dapat mengolah data pada persediaan barang yang ada digudang atau tempat penyimpanan. Sistem dibuat menggunakan Metode First In First Out (FIFO) yang bertujuan agar barang yang lebih dahulu masuk akan lebih dahulu terjual sehingga tidak ada barang yang kadaluarsa.

Peningkatan kebutuhan energi listrik seiring dengan pertumbuhan populasi dan perkembangan teknologi menuntut peningkatan suplai dari pembangkit listrik, terutama yang menggunakan bahan bakar batu bara. Persaingan bisnis di sektor pembangkit listrik mengharuskan perusahaan mengelola sumber daya dengan optimal untuk mencapai laba maksimal. Bahan baku sebagai bahan bakar memainkan peran penting dalam operasi pembangkitan tenaga listrik, dan gangguan pada persediaan dapat menghambat proses produksi serta mengurangi laba. Suplai daya dari pembangkit sangat dipengaruhi oleh permintaan beban, kemampuan unit pembangkit, dan rugi-rugi pada saluran. Biaya bahan bakar yang tinggi dapat membuat operasi pembangkitan menjadi tidak ekonomis. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi untuk meminimalkan biaya operasi sambil memenuhi variasi beban, melalui penjadwalan operasi generator dan koordinasi antar pembangkitan. Metode First in First Out (FIFO) dalam pembagian pembebanan dapat membantu mencapai efisiensi biaya dengan menentukan kombinasi daya keluaran dari setiap unit pembangkit secara ekonomis. Dengan demikian, optimalisasi pembebanan bertujuan untuk mencapai biaya operasi yang optimal dan ekonomis, memperhatikan batasan kapasitas unit pembangkit.

<p>PT. Agung Selaras Group is a property company that operates in the business of selling houses. With a good sales management system, the property company can support its work activities. The aim of this research is to develop a system that can simplify stock management and minimize the risk of loss in the sales process. The data source for this research was obtained from direct observation and interviews with PT. Agung Selaras Group. In this system the author will combine the First In First Out method in managing incoming and outgoing product stock. The results of this research are that the system that has been designed can make it easier for managers to collect data on incoming and outgoing goods so that the risk of managing product stock can be minimized, and with computerized reports it can provide more precise, accurate and fast information. From the results of black box testing, the percentage of this application system can run well.</p>

Abstract:
An accounting system that includes the organization of forms, records and reports that are focused in such a way as to provide information related to finance that is really needed by management to make it easier for company managers. A well-structured accounting system will also provide good meaning for management in managing its business. Every company has several accounting systems that are interrelated and work together to achieve certain goals. Inventory is arranged in staggered form (list/table), while the balance sheet is presented using accounts. Inventory is the basis for compiling balance sheets and annual financial reports. Aruna Cosmetics is engaged in trading various kinds of cosmetics, carrying out simple inventory records using a calculator and transferring them into books, which results in inefficient performance. When prices rise, the FIFO method causes too little effort and tends to overvalue inventory assets compared to direct individual valuation. However, if the actual movement of capital occurs on the basis of the FIFO principle, then the assessment of this method corresponds to a direct individual assessment. The formation of hidden reserves when prices rise is not possible with the FIFO method. An increase in profits due to an increase in the price of inventory is called inventory profit or illusory profit.

Seksi Warehouse A3&K, KaRu Warehouse A3 dan Operator Warehouse yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purpossive. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sistem pengendalian persediaan barang menggunakan scanner serial number yang menghasilkan informasi lokasi penempatan barang, pelacakan barang, mengontrol ketersediaan stok barang sehingga memudahkan dalam penempatan dan pengambilan barang. Sementara untuk penerapan metode FIFO (First In First Out) sudah berjalan efektif. Setiap barang yang masuk diberikan label FIFO (First In First Out) dengan warna yang berbeda-beda di setiap bulannya. Pelabelan tersebut digunakan sebagai dasar untuk pengambilan barang.

Proses pengawasan dan pelaporan yang praktis dan mudah merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam kegiatan penginventarisasian gudang obat, sehingga diperlukan suatu sistem inventori gudang yang mampu mengolah transaksi secara efektif dan efisien. Penggunaan sistem yang terkomputerisasi akan lebih banyak menghemat waktu, tidak menyita banyak tenaga, dan menghasilkan data yang akurat. Sistem inventori Gudang ini dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman JSP dan MySQL untuk pengolahan basis datanya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penerapan sistem informasi gudang menggunakan first expired first out (FEFO) agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas inventory gudang obat. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dengan adanya sistem inventory gudang, petugas dapat melakukan transaksi yang ada secara efektif dan efisien, mengantisipasi stok obat yang kosong karena terdapat batas minimal obat harus tersedia, memperoleh informasi secara cepat dan tepat mengenai data-data obat, sehingga petugas lebih mudah untuk memeriksa data obat. Selain itu, dengan metode first expired first out (FEFO), petugas dapat mengantisipasi terjualnya obat kadaluarsa kepada pelanggan.

Sistem Informasi merupakan rangkaian sistem atau aplikasi yang dibangun sedemikian rupa agar dapat menyimpan, mengolah, dan memproses data, serta mengelola data dan informasi, sementara itu inventori merupakan suatu kegiatan untuk megelola data dan informasi dari kumpulan stok bahan dan barang tertentu. Pada UPTD Puskesmas Bojong Menteng inventori obat dikelola secara konvensional, dimana data obat masuk, obat keluar itu dicatat pada buku yang pada periode tertentu akan disimpan pada komputer menggunakan aplikasi perkantoran dan karena proses tersebut mengakibatkan sering terjadi kesalahan informasi yang diterima pada bagian gudang, apotek, dan kepala puskesmas. Hal ini berdampak pada stok obat yang ada di gudang tidak sesuai dengan yang tercatat, sehingga ditemukan adanya obat yang kadaluarsa dan order obat yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Oleh karena itu dibangunlah Sistem Informasi Inventory Berbasis Web yang mampu mengelola data obat tersebut dan untuk memastikan obat yang keluar adalah obat yang paling dekat masa kadaluarsanya maka peneliti juga menggunakan metode First Expired First Out untuk memastikan hal tersebut dan Sistem yang dibangun ini juga diuji kelayakan sistemnya menggunakan Black Box Testing dan dari pengujian tersebut sistem ini dapat dioperasikan dan berfungsi dengan baik.

Sampai saat ini dalam mengelola informasi stok barang masih sering mengalami kendala, misalnya kesalahan dalam mencatat stok barang yang menyebabkan ketidakpastian antara catatan dan stok barang yang ada digudang, dan juga proses pencatatan barang masih dicatatat secara manual. Oleh sebab itu diperlukannya aplikasi stok barang agar dapat mengurangi terjadinya kesalahan serupa dan mempercepat waktu pengerjaan. Dalam sistem ini juga dibuat early warning sistem untuk memberi peringatan berupa message box jika stok barang sudah mencapai batas minimum. Metode FIFO (Frist In First Out) yang akan digunakan dalam mengelola stok barang. Aplikasi tersebut dibuat menggunakan vb.net dan mysql server sebagai databasenya.

Sistem reservasi merupakan sistem untuk mengetahui informasi pelayanan jasa tertentu. Sistem reservasi service gadget ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan konsumen dalam melakukan pendaftaran atau reservasi karena dilakukan secara online, sehingga para konsumen tidak perlu menunggu untuk mengikuti antrian yang panjang saat reservasi manual. Oleh karena itu aplikasi ini dibuat dan diperlukan sebagai solusi dari masalah seperti antrian panjang saat reservasi secara komputasi berbasis website. Penerapan metode yang dilakukan dalam pembuatan sistem aplikasi service gadget ini, yaitu metode Antrian First In First Out yang menerapkan Single Channel-Single Phase. Pada aplikasi ini Konsumen melakukan reservasi antrian service pada halaman reservasi order service, setelah data terkirim selanjutnya akan diproses oleh sistem untuk di verifikasi. Setelah itu sistem akan menampilkan halaman bukti reservasi untuk dicetak oleh konsumen sebagai bukti sudah melakukan reservasi. Pengujian yang dilakukan melakukan perbandingan pada web browser seperti Microsoft Edge membutuhkan waktu 53 detik untuk melakukan reservasi dengan menjalankan aplikasi reservasi service gadget, sedangkan pengujian pada Mozilla Firefox 54 detik dan Google Chrome 58 detik. Selain itu dalam penggunaan memori (RAM) Microsoft Edge memakai 168,4KB, sedangkan pengujian pada Mozilla Firefox 212,6KB dan Google Chrome 274,0KB.
