Full textThe research focused on: Persons with intellectual disability indicators of physical capacity and physical properties. The research purpose: To identify and assess persons with intellectual disability physical capacity disability, gender and age aspect. Objectives: 1. To identify and assess persons with intellectual disability physical capacity disability and gender aspect; 2. To identify and assess persons with intellectual disability physical capacity age aspect; 3. To identify and assess persons with intellectual disability indicators of physical properties disability and gender aspect; 4. To identify and assess persons with intellectual disability indicators of physical properties age aspect. Results and conclusions: Identified that gender is better in terms of physical capacity among disadvantaged girls, and slightly mentally between the middle of intelligence superior physical capacity observed among boys. Found that the physical capacity the disability aspect is better between a slight disturbance in the persons with disabilities, and physical ability to achieve better results under the age of 14-17 m. age group. It is also noted that gender, disability and age in contrast to persons with intellectual disabilities affects the indicators of physical properties. Full textActuality. Researches show weak health and bad physical qualification of the country‘s lads. In the armed forces of the NATO countries, special physical preparation of soldiers, cadets and officers plays an important role. Also, there are a few purposes to solve, including selection of the people most suitable for military service and searching effective ways for general physical without special applicable preparation. Newness. In the work, physical preparation of the students-cadets of the War Academy of Lithuania is researched. The tendencies of physical preparation of the students of the 1–2 course – physical features of quickness and spring – in 2003–2005 are analyzed.There are not so many works of this kind, so the data of the research is going to have an aspect of newness. Full textGeneral programs and intelligence standards (2003) emphasize pupil culture of movements and importance of physical power, lay stress on training accuracy, freedom and harmony of movement. Training methodic of physical peculiarities of individual pupil according to age, sex aspects has been described many times by Urickaja (1976), Kuklys (1982), Zutkis (1985), Skurvydas (1991), Karoblis (1994), Vilkas (1995), Radžiukynas (1995), Kviklienė (2001) and other scientists. It is determined that development of all main physical peculiarities: endurance, speed, quickness and other is very intensive in young school age (between 7-8 years and between 11-12 years). This regularity relates with development of movement analyser, which ends till age 12-13 years (Tutkuvienė, 1995). In work we ascertained influence of contents separate sections of IV physical education training program to development of physical peculiarities of VIIth class pupils in separate terms. In 2004-2005 school year four testing were made for VIIth class pupils in Vilnius Emilija Pliateryte primary school. Research sample was made of 90 researches : 49 girls and 41 boys. Full textIn this paper the analysis of training effectiveness of sportsmen playing wheelchair basketball was fulfilled in Kaunas and Šiauliai. The research was make with the help of testing to fix and evaluate the pecullarities of disabled sportsmen playing wheelchair-basketball ( endurance, speed, agility ) and the level of skills ( throwing the ball into the basket, going with the ball ) and the factors of the game. Sportsmen from Šiauliai and Kaunas from the wheelchair basketball teams took part in the research. In the empirical part of the research the peculiarities of physical features of disabled sportsmen, the level of skills, the age, the length of the play and the degree of being disabled were compared. The main conclusions of the empiric part are: 1. After having estimated the level of skills and physical peculiarities of disabled basketballers between Kaunas and Šiauliai, we can state that the results of Kaunas sportsmen are superior. The experience of the Kaunas players is of great significance (x=8,6). 2. It is determined that the experience of the game has a very great influence on the physical peculiarities of the sportsmen. Mathematical statistical analysis; Objectives of research: • Identify and compare balance rate of 12 – 14 year old aerobic gymnastics and sport acrobatics athletes. • Identify and compare flexibility rate of 12 – 14 year old aerobic gymnastics and sport acrobatics athletes. • Compare flexibility indicators between aerobics gymnastics and sports acrobatics athletes by using different methods of testing. Three types of balance testing were made (maintaining balance by standing on front part of foot, maintaining balance by standing on one foot with closed eyes, maintaining balance by standing on wooden plank with front part of foot). Full textAurimas Medonis Efficiency of individually chosen physical exercise complex Summary The purpose of the research is to evaluate individually chosen physical exercise complex method’s efficiency of the 10th grade schoolboys. Fifty-nine schoolboys, who belong to the main medical physical ability group and attend Vilniaus Žirmūnų gymnasium and Vilniaus Šv.Kristoforo secondary school, took part in the pedagogical experiment. The experiment was organized during the school year 2006, from January 9th to May 22d. Schoolboys were distributed into three experimental (E1 2a, 10c, 10d ─ 24 schoolboys) and four control (E2 ─ 2d, 2c, 10b, 10e ─ 35 schoolboys) classes. The experimental program was applied to group E1, while group E2 had the same physical education lessons as earlier. Independent variable ─ method of improving physical features was designed in order to increase individually chosen physical exercise complex. Research methods used in the Master‘s thesis are the following: analysis of literature, questionnaire, physical features testing and statistical analysis. Questionnaire investigated 10th grade schoolboys’ attitude towards sport, healthy life style as well as independent work out. Full textMost of the authors, researching on physical characteristics and special abilities indicators of basketball players with a various level of disability, noted that rates of the players with the highest degree of disability (on the scale of 1-2 points) are worse than of those with a disability on a slighter scale. However little research has been done on the influence of the programs dedicated to wheelchair basketball players’ physical characteristics and special abilities. In this case, new research on the influence of strength training program on wheelchair basketball players’ physical characteristics and special abilities is a matter of great relevance.
