The purpose of this project was to help floorball goalkeepers acquire gains in reaction time, catch/loss ratio and overall agility by using a ball launching machine. The device had the ability to launch balls in both a straight or curved trajectory and to aim at different parts of the goal. My ambition with this study is to seek clearance in how the media shape male and female floorball players in Sweden. I´ve used a quantitative content analysis for that purpose. One of my main questions was with which attributes female or male players gets ascribed. I studied over 300 articles in Swedish newspapers Aftonbladet and Expressen. 194 articles were mainly about male players, and 112 articles were about female players.
