This paper compared the similarity with Kim Chunsoo's poem ‘Flower’ to explore the poetic possibility of appearing in the play “A flower is not a flower”. In order to compare the similarities between the two, a convergent perspective was sought to talk about the play in poetry and to talk about poetry in the play. Some previous studies on the convergence of poetry and drama have fixedly defined the convergence concept of poetry and drama as a dichotomous diagram of what is poetry and drama. Studies that organize poetry and drama in a dichotomy have two limitations. First, poetry limits the inf

Accurate classification and identification of flowering medicinal plants hold immense potential for advancing traditional medicine and biodiversity conservation. Currently, experts manually identify medicinal plants based on characteristics such as aroma, flowers, and visual features—a process that is not only time-consuming but also prone to human error and inefficiencies. To address these challenges, this study proposes a robust medicinal flower classification framework composed of three major phases: segmentation, feature extraction, and classification. The segmentation phase utilizes a dee

With the winnowing of time and the emphasis given to particular artists in our constructed histories of art (be it international, national or regional) it is often difficult to determine why artists were considered to be innovatory in their time. The works so judged survive but not the context which enabled them to achieve this prominence. So it is with Vida Lahey. It may seem a desperate measure to consider a flower painter as a vehicle for modernist ideas, but the art environment in Brisbane was particularly conservative and Vida Lahey's vibrant flower paintings were a significant presence.

Background.Rosa, as the "Queen of Flowers" has always occupied a special place in the garden. The emergence of rose gardens is rooted in antiquity. Rose is a kind of “tuning fork” of eras. We can see how the symbolism of the flower was transformed, depending on the philosophy and cultural values of society. And this contributed to the various functions and aesthetic delivery of roses in gardens and parks of different eras. Despite the large number of works on roses, today there are no studies that can combine philosophy, cultural aspects of the era, the history of gardens and parks with symbol

Nineteenth-century visionary artist Georgiana Houghton believed in the healing qualities of her art, and she educated religious teachers and clergy about the nature of her spiritual images. This article examines Houghton’s mediumistic paintings and seeks to demonstrate how her experimentation with vibrant colors and manipulation of form prefigured early modernist painting techniques. In addition, this analysis expands on how Houghton transformed her knowledge of the tenets of Spiritualism, which she amalgamated with her understanding of the science of botany to produce flower form spiritual po
