The disturbed soil from a stream channelization project at Cooper Woods was used to evaluate the feasibility of establishing native grasses and forbs and their effectiveness in preventing soil erosion. Treatments included; 1- plots seeded, no application of herbicide, 2-plots seeded, herbicide applied, 3-unseeded and untreated control plots.
