Abstract:
Twitter is now a key platform for public communication between a diverse range of participants, but the overall shape of the communication network it provides remains largely unknown. This article provides a detailed overview of the network structure of the Australian Twittersphere and identifies the thematic drivers of the key clusters within the network. We identify some 3.72 million Australian Twitter accounts and map the follower/followee connections between the 255,000 most connected accounts; we utilize community detection algorithms to identify the major clusters within this network and examine their account populations to identify their constitutive themes; we examine account creation dates and reconstruct a timeline for the Twitter adoption process among different communities; and we examine lifetime and recent tweeting patterns to determine the historically and currently most active clusters in the network. In combination, this offers the first rigorous and comprehensive study of the network structure of an entire national Twittersphere.

Abstract:
There are two possibilities how to follow equilibria of organic compounds established in aqueous solutions using polarography: for very fast reactions, information can be obtained from shifts of half-wave potentials. For slowly established equilibria, the changes in the limiting current are followed. In both cases variation of the half-wave potentials or limiting currents with concentration of a reactant, present in excess, is followed. The types of reactions, which had been followed in this way, are as follows: hydration–dehydration equilibria, additions of hydroxide ion to carbonyl and nitroso compounds, the role of slowly established acid–base equilibria involving C-acids; further also reactions involving the addition of ammonia, primary amines, hydroxylamine, and hydrazine to carbonyl compounds.

Abstract:
Purpose The purpose of this study is to facilitate the task of finding appropriate information to read about, and searching for people who are in the same field of interest. Knowing that more people keep up with new streaming information on Twitter micro-blogging service. With the immense number of micro-posts shared via the follower/followee network graph, Twitter users find themselves in front of millions of tweets, which makes the task crucial. Design/methodology/approach In this paper, a long short–term memory (LSTM) model that relies on the latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) output vector for followee recommendation, the LDA model applied as a topic modeling strategy is proposed. Findings This study trains the model using a real-life data set extracted based on Twitter follower/followee architecture. It confirms the effectiveness and scalability of the proposed approach. The approach improves the state-of-the-art models average-LSTM and time-LSTM. Research limitations/implications This study improves mainly the existing followee recommendation systems. Because, unlike previous studies, it applied a non-hand-crafted method which is the LSTM neural network with LDA model for topics extraction. The main limitation of this study is the cold-start users cannot be treated, also some active fake accounts may not be detected. Practical implications The aim of this approach is to assist users seeking appropriate information to read about, by choosing appropriate profiles to follow. Social implications This approach consolidates the social relationship between users in a microblogging platform by suggesting like-minded people to each other. Thus, finding users with the same interests will be easy without spending a lot of time seeking relevant users. Originality/value Instead of classic recommendation models, the paper provides an efficient neural network searching method to make it easier to find appropriate users to follow. Therefore, affording an effective followee recommendation system.

Abstract:
This research discusses the verbal follow phenomenon in Al-Amali Abi Al-Qali’s book (seq.356 Hijri). It aims to limit the examples of this phenomenon in the book, and examine it phonologically. Accordingly, the researcher adopted the analaytical descriptive approach, taking into account Al-Rawi’s letter when ordering the verbal follow-based examples, and the order they took in the book in question. The purposes behind this phonological study of verbal follow in Al-Amali’s book are to: reach the sounds which Arabs prefer in the process of following, confirm different beautiful and desirable senses, have easy and speedy pronunciation, maintain harmony between adjacent sounds, count the sounds that occur at the beginning of the follower- a disputable phonological issue between the follower and following- and spot the phonological change that occurs to the follower. Accordingly, a caution is needed to maintain harmony and homogeneity between two pronunciations to achieve the process of following. Or, the structure of the word follower is changed to match its peer followed word. The study has shown that Al-Qali was the eldest in dealing with the formal aspect of the phenomenon. He pointed to the idea of merging the last letter in the subordinate and the follower, and compared it with a stylistic, artistic, and acoustic characteristic, which is included in the innate rhetoric, i.e., assonance. By that, he has determined the most important formal acoustic features of the rhythmic complex as represented by the endings of the sequences, which have a musical rhythm.

Abstract:
We tested the feasibility of using Saildrone unmanned wind- and solar-powered surface vehicles to conduct remote focal follow studies of northern fur seals Callorhinus ursinus. Using Argos satellite and transmitted GPS locations, the Saildrones followed a fur seal while recording oceanographic conditions and mapping prey abundance and depth distribution using a scientific echosounder. The Saildrones successfully followed 6 fur seals over 2.4 ± 0.2 d (mean ± SE) and 149.7 ± 16.3 km of the foraging path. Median separation distance between the Saildrone and fur seal path was 0.65 ± 0.1 km and average time separation was 9.9 ± 1.4 h, with minimum time separations ranging from 1.9-4.9 h. Time and distance separation were a function of both animal behavior and study design. Our results show that Saildrones can approach satellite tracked marine predators from long distances and follow them over extended periods while collecting oceanographic and prey data. These successful focal follows demonstrate that unmanned surface vehicles are a valuable tool for collecting data on fine-scale relationships between marine predators, their prey, and the environment.

Abstract:
Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect the world with serious number of cases and deaths. For this reason, knowing the clinical findings and course of the disease is important for early diagnosis and treatment. In this article, COVID-19 cases followed up after quarantine were discussed. Materials and Methods: In this study, the data of 99 patients who were followed up during travel and post-Umrah quarantine between 31 March and 15 April 2020 were retrospectively reviewed. Results: Of the 99 patients included in the study, 66 (66.7%) were females, 33 (33.3%) were males, and mean age was 59.8 ± 11.4 years. SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test was positive at the time of admission in 97 (98.0%) of the 99 patients. Thirty-nine (39.4%) of the patients were symptomatic and 25.3% of the patients had cough, 8.1% had fever, and 7.1% had shortness of breath. While SARSCoV-2 RT-PCR test was negative in 2 (3.3%) of the 60 patients without complaints, 58 (96.7%) of them were positive for SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test. Leukopenia was detected as 3%, lymphopenia 66.7%, D-dimer height 47.5%, LDH elevation 38.4%, CRP elevation 45.5%. Ground glass opacities were present in 81 (81.8%) of the patients with lung involvement, and consolidation areas were present in 40 patients (40.4%). Underlying disease was present in 38 (38.4%) of the patients. Hypertension and diabetes mellitus were the most common underlying diseases. It was observed that 89 (89.4%) of our cases had negative SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test on the 5th day. Conclusion: COVID-19 infection is an infectious disease that can present with many different clinics. In asymptomatic COVID-19 cases, lung involvement findings and disorders in laboratory parameters may be observed. It should be kept in mind that asymptomatic cases pose a risk in terms of transmission.

Abstract:
Purpose To compare pro re nata (PRN) and bimonthly intravitreal aflibercept injection protocols in the treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD). Methods This was a retrospective, observational, comparative study in 2 centers. All study patients presented with newly diagnosed nAMD and were treated as follows after an induction of 3 consecutive monthly loading doses: the bimonthly group was retreated every 2 months and followed up every 4 months while the PRN group was retreated in case of subretinal exudation or visual acuity decrease and followed up every month. A comprehensive ophthalmic examination was performed at each study visit. Results At 1 year, 34 eyes were analyzed. The 19 patients in the bimonthly group had a mean visual acuity improvement of +8.5 Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS) letters whereas stabilization was observed in the PRN group (-0.47 ETDRS letters; p = 0.027). All patients in the bimonthly group had 4 follow-up visits and 7.5 injections whereas the mean number of follow-up visits in the PRN group (15 patients) was 7.8 with 7.6 injections. Conclusions Our study suggests that a fixed bimonthly aflibercept retreatment protocol may provide better visual results than a PRN protocol.

Abstract:
In the ongoing debate in the area of critical leadership studies, the nature of leader–follower relationships is a thorny issue. The nature of followership has been questioned, especially whether followers can display resistance behaviours while maintaining their follower position. Addressing this issue requires a dialectical approach in which followers and leaders alike are primary elements in leadership co-production. Followers who face destructive leaders are of special interest when leadership is studied as a co-creational process. This context favours the emergence of a full range of behavioural profiles in which passives and colluders will illustrate the destructive leadership co-production process, and those who resist demonstrate that followers may not follow the leader and still keep a followership purpose. A two-step data analysis procedure was conducted based on the behaviour descriptions of 123 followers having a destructive leader. A qualitative analysis (i.e. content analysis) showed a set of behaviours and their antecedents that suggest three main groups of followers: resisters, obedient and mixed behaviour. Treating these data quantitatively (i.e. latent class analysis), six followers’ profiles emerged: active resistance, passive resistance, passive obedience, conflict avoidance, support and mixed. Our findings provide evidence that followers who resist may do it for the sake of the organisation. We discuss our findings in light of followership theory, whereby joining role-based and constructionist approaches allows us to argue that followers may still be followers even when they do not invariably follow their leader.

Abstract:
Object Follower Robot is a robot that can follow the object's motion where the object will walk will be followed. The control system uses a motor driver and two dynamos to run the robot based on the color of the object detected by the Pixy CMUCAM5 camera so that it can walk following the object. This system depends on hardware and software. The hardware uses the Arduino Uno 328P as the microcontroller, the ultrasonic sensor as a distance detector, the Pixy CMUCAM5 camera as the color detector of the object, and the HX711 weight sensor as a weighing counter for shopping. As well as software using color filtering to read colors rather than objects, the results issued from color filtering are what make the conversion as a robot control system. The results of the test are to identify how the robot can follow the object, how far the robot can follow the object, and how long the robot is able to walk if the robot is turned on continuously. So it can be seen the extent to which the ability of the robot can be used

Abstract:
221 Background: While the clinical response from induction chemotherapy followed by stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) has been reported for borderline resectable pancreatic cancer (BRPC) patients, response from a histopathologic standpoint has not been described. Methods: This single-institution retrospective review evaluated BRPC patients who completed induction gemcitabine-based chemotherapy followed by 5-fraction SBRT. All patients were restaged and underwent resection. A pathologist (B.C.) specializing in pancreatic cancer reviewed each surgical specimen and assigned two Tumor Regression Grade (TRG) scores, one from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and one from the MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC). Overall survival (OS) and progression free survival (PFS) were correlated to TRG score using the Kaplan-Meier method. Results: This study evaluated 35 resected BRPC patients with a median follow up of 13.8 months (range, 6.1-24.8). All received induction gemcitabine-based chemotherapy, most commonly GTX (gemcitabine, docetaxel, capecitabine) (82%), followed by 5-fraction SBRT with a median 35 Gy (range, 30-40). TRG scores according to the CAP were as follows, from best to worst response: 0 (n=3), 1 (n=13), 2 (n=15), and 3 (n=4). TRG scores according to MDACC were as follows, from best to worst response: IV (n=3), III(M) (n=6), IIB (n=11), IIA (n=10), and I (n=5). Any neoadjuvant treatment effect according to MDACC scoring (IIA-IV vs. I) was associated with improved OS and PFS (both p=0.019). Conclusions: This study demonstrated a significant pathologic response with a gemcitabine based neoadjuvant regimen containing SBRT and suggests a survival benefit based on response as measured by the MDACC scoring system.

Abstract:
Background: There is no consensus regarding the management of occult obscure gastrointestinal bleeding (OGIB) patients without a confirmed bleeding source. This study aimed to consider the management of occult OGIB patients based on their long-term outcomes. Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 357 consecutive occult OGIB patients (203 men; mean age: 59.7 years) who underwent capsule endoscopy (CE) at Hiroshima University Hospital, Japan and were followed up for more than 12 months (mean follow-up period; 50.2 months). Patients were divided into three groups as follows: Group A consisted of 98 of 157 patients who had positive findings and indication for treatment, Group B consisted of 59 of 157 patients who had positive findings but no indication for treatment, and Group C consisted of 200 patients who had negative small-bowel findings. We examined the rate of positive CE findings, detection rate and details of bleeding sources, overt bleeding rate, the rate of anemia exacerbation, 5-year anemia exacerbation rate, and overall survival rate. Results: The positive CE findings rate was 44% (157/357) and detection rate of bleeding source was 27% (98/357). The details of Group A were as follows: angioectasia ( n = 61), nonspecific ulceration ( n = 10), nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug-induced ulcer ( n = 8), and others ( n = 19). The details of Group B were as follows: erythema ( n = 31), angioectasia ( n = 25), and others ( n = 3). There were no patients with overt bleeding in Group B. Although six patients had anemia exacerbation in Group B, they had angioectasia without a bleeding source. Conclusion: The long-term outcomes of occult OGIB patients were good. Occult OGIB patients without bleeding source lesions may not require follow-up CE.

Abstract:
Gestational choriocarcinoma is a highly metastatic neoplasm derived from placental tissue, occurring in approximately 1:20,000–40,000 pregnancies. Although gestational choriocarcinoma may follow any gestational event, it most commonly follows molar pregnancies. We report a case of a 24-year-old Hispanic woman with persistent trophoblastic disease who, after failing to respond to chemotherapy, was found to have metastasis to the liver and pancreas. The patient underwent successful distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy to be followed by salvage chemotherapy. Strong risk factors for choriocarcinoma include previous molar pregnancy or spontaneous abortion and increased maternal age. Gestational choriocarcinoma is classically responsive to chemotherapy; surgical excision is reserved for acute emergencies and is an acceptable option for patients with persistent disease in need of palliative treatment and tissue diagnosis.

Abstract:
AbstractPurpose: To add six new cases to the literature and to determine whether women with pre-existing scleroderma have an increased incidence of complications after breast-conserving therapy. Methods and Materials: From 1995 to 2005, nine patients with pre-existing scleroderma were treated for their breast cancer at the Institute Curie. Six of them underwent radiotherapy. The patients who underwent radiotherapy were irradiated using high-energy photons of a cobalt unit and/or linear accelerator, either before or after surgery, or were exclusively treated using radiation therapy. The early and late skin reactions have been evaluated using the Acute Radiation Morbidity Scoring Criteria (RTOG) and Late Radiation Morbidity Scoring Scheme (RTOG, EORTC).Results: Median follow-up of the six irradiated patients was 34 months (range from 10 to 120 months). Early reactions were as follows: grade 1 in two cases, grade 2 in two cases, and grade 3 in two cases. Late toxicity was as follows: grade 0 in three patients, currently at 56, 48, and 12 months of follow-up; grade 1, slight atrophy, in two patients; grade 3 reaction with marked atrophy in one patient, followed up for 120 months now. There was no toxicity worse than grade 3 in these series. Conclusions: This small study cannot provide evidence that scleroderma increases the risk of developing early and late toxicity. Patients with scleroderma must be discussed in multidisciplinary meetings to adapt their treatment to their rheumatologic history. When radiotherapy is considered, more attention must be paid to the protection of normal tissues. Careful follow-up during and after the radiation therapy remains of paramount importance in this specific population of patients.

Abstract:
The response to interferon treatment in chronic hepatitis NANB/C has usually been classified as complete, partial or absent, according to the behavior of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT). However, a more detailed observation of the enzymatic activity has shown that the patterns may be more complex. The aim of this study was to describe the long term follow-up and patterns of ALT response in patients with chronic hepatitis NANB/C treated with recombinant interferon-alpha. A follow-up of 6 months or more after interferon-a was achieved in 44 patients. We have classified the serum ALT responses into six patterns and the observed frequencies were as follows: I. Long term response = 9 (20.5%); II. Normalization followed by persistent relapse after IFN = 7 (15.9%); III. Normalization with transient relapse = 5 (11.9%); IV. Temporary normalization and relapse during IFN = 4 (9.1%); V. Partial response (more than 50% of ALT decrease) = 7 (15.9%); VI. No response = 12 (27.3%). In conclusion, ALT patterns vary widely during and after IFN treatment and can be classified in at least 6 types.

Abstract:
Starting from May, 1991, 35 untreated myeloma patients entered a multicentric pilot study to evaluate the feasibility of a program of PBSC transplantation for previously untreated myeloma patients. The schedule was as follows: 2 cycles of VAD followed by CY, 7 g/mq + G-CSF (Granulokine, Roche) for 14 days, to increase and collect PBSC. The subsequent conditioning regimen was Melphalan + Busulfan followed by G-CSF. As maintenance R alpha-2 IFN was given, until relapse. The median follow-up is 14 months (4-22). On April 1993, 34 patients received at least 2 cycles of VAD, 27 were submitted to PBSC collection, 22 received conditioning regimen plus PBSC and 16 of them are in the maintenance treatment with IFN. Considering 28 patients for an intention to treat evaluation (35 -7 in treatment), responding patients are 71% with 46% who achieved CR. White cells and platelets raised to > 1000/mmc and >50,000/mmc after a median period of 10 and 13 days, from CY, and 11 and 14 days from transplant, respectively. Two patients relapsed, 2 others died while in PR because of CMV epatitis and candida pneumonia. The median number of CD34+ cells and CFU-GM was 24.75 x 106/kg b.w. and 28.1 x 104/kg b.w. respectively. In conclusion this treatment seems to be feasible and with low toxicity, but a longer follow-up is needed to evaluate the progression free survival of the high proportion of responding patients that we observed.
