Full textMany projects fail because of poor management of unpredictable situations. Given the growing interest in this subject among both project managers and researchers, our goal is to seek innovative solutions to capture the unexpected. The literature review is grounded on project management, and the concepts of organizational improvisation and quality teamwork. We ask the following research question : what are the managerial devices to develop within project teams in order to manage effectively the ability to improvise in innovative projects ? The initial question is divided into two sub-research questions : What are the project managament situations favoring improvisation and how do they evolve during the project life span ? What is the impact of the mobilization of improvidational devices by the project team members on project performance ? To answer these questions, we rely on quantitative analysis of an international database on managerial project situations to answer on the first research question, and on a survey of project teams of students achieving tutored projects, in response to the second research question. Among the main results, this thesis identifies and characterizes « improvisational situations » within project teams. It also analyzes how they evolve during the project life span. It also examines the relationship between collective improvisation and performance in project teams, and it shows that the teamwork quality plays an intermediary role. Finally, the role played by several managerial devices is highlighted. Depending on the type of performance, economic or social, two management models of improvisation in project trams are available. These results are discussed and the contributions of our research as well as its limitations and the perspectives of research are developed in conclusion

Full textThis research falls within the field of clinical psychology of groups and institutions referring to psychoanalysis. By way of a clinical study of internal listening units for employees in institutions (nursing homes, follow-up care clinics, psychiatric clinics), we will address the conditions third parties face within an institution. Following a violent, potentially traumatic event, such as the suicide of a patient, the institutions concerned may make use to this device. Two psychologists, also employees of one of the institutions' establishments, come to listen to the institution's employees. As a clinical psychologist, regularly posted to work inside the studied system, I have conducted my research from within the institution. I sought to define the difficulty facing third parties in finding their place when the framework is so interconnected (the establishment, the institution employing the psychologists, the psychology unit, the institution where the psychologist is posted) and aims to implement issues inherent to such a position. The methodology, in principle, creating a vast separation, consists of analyzing the clinical observations collected from a participatory standpoint in order to decompress them in an external research group brought together for this purpose. All of the documentation related to the studied system for a period of ten years was also analyzed, as well as several meetings between the participants. The primary function of care institutions is to address differences, differentiation, and lack of differentiation. Two poles complicate this reflection. On one hand, they condense the suffering of the populations they receive and the healing ideal they promote and in their negative incarnation, can prove to be a potentially destructive and alienating force; on the other hand, they are currently under great economic strain and a profound restructuration of the meta-social guarantors seeking to redefine themselves. This kind of questioning requires space for reflection, however small, within the institution. Addressing the conditions of third parties can contribute to relieving these spaces and help to open up the dialectic and creative possibilities for the issues surrounding caregiving. The space created however, is not guaranteed. A fourth and temporal dimension cannot be excluded. This dimension can be ascribed in a story that takes into account the legacies of the past, the difficulty in connecting them, helping to envision and work towards a possible continuation. This is what the account of the research process intends to illustrate

Full textThis study was conducted within the context of the Remote Networked School (RNS) initiative in Quebec, Canada. An elementary classroom made use of a collaborative digital space (Knowledge Forum) for arts education. It supported the conduct of activities related to two shared objects, the appreciation of arts and crafts and the creation of an art object. This study focused on classroom discourse regarding these objects. Our results show that students were able to make contributions that advance their classroom discourse regarding the shared objects. By interacting with each other, they created knowledge artifacts and developed their own artistic language. Moreover, educational implications were drawn for encouraging students to participate during arts education activities using collaborative digital tools.

Full textThis thesis focuses on the teamwork in first-degree’s schools. This is a descriptive research based on observation and description of teams organisation through the views of actors of national education, in St. Martin Island first and then in Guadeloupe. The challenge is to study the impacts that will bring various elements chosen on the implementation of the teamwork in schools, as it is recommended by the minsterial official texts. This study is based on the model of Engeström. It’s a qualitative approach and which favours the use of semi-directive interview. The corpus consists of 80 inter- views, supplemented by four surveys. In a first part, the thesis concentrates on the functioning and the organization of the headmasters in schools, as manager of the teaching team. The second part is based on the accurate analysis of the initial and continuous training system of personal of education (headmasters, teachers and inspectors) in France and in the world. The observations of the teamwork in difficult areas will show if the geographical location of schools promotes the organisation of the staff that officiates in those places

Full textLn this dissertation, I examine the construction of the place of an Equipe Mobile de Psychiatrie-Précarité (EMPP), which is an outreach team for people with psychiatric disorders and with untraditionalliving arrangements. This construction is anaIyzed as the result from an ongoing work of distribution and legitimation of powers: a micropolitic work. In order to understand the micropolitic of the team's work and ils impact on the team's construction, I focus on key ¬moments in the process of ca. Re, in which it is questioned the boundary of the legitimacy of whether or not to intervene. Lnitially I describe the context in which the team was created and its functioning. Secondly, I analyse the important role played by demand, non-demand, and refusal in legitimating intervention in the midst of interaction between psychiatric team members, social workers, and service users. Lastly, the limits of the legitimacy to intervene are explored through three types of situation: when the team discharges a service user to another team, when constraint is used during the intervention, and when it is impossible to meet with the service user. Three modes of care are described (expertise, overpass, and complete). Bach represents possible configurations of the EMPP's place in the distribution of powers. Within each mode of care, specific interventions are legitimated and the EMPP establishes a balance between its specialized and non-specialized dimensions, and it positions itself as a restrictive or universalistic service provider. During this research, l was both a researcher and a team member, as a project assistant. Data was collected through participant observation, observant participation and interviews

Full textThe thesis describes the construction and the functioning of student's personal geometric working spaces, during a sequence of class, in first year of the literary section of French secondary school, with mathematical option. The theoretical frame of the geometric working speces, takes into account an espistemological dimension, as well as a cognitive dimension. An epistemological study of the concept of space, and psychological theories of the spatial abilities, allowed us to hold certain external factors to working spaces, constituent of interpersonal differences. The latter were able to be noticed thanks to a test of spatial capacities and geometrical knowledge. The mathematical activity, and thus the internal functioning of the geometric working spaces, consists of a production and an interpretation of codified signs, belonging to various registers of semiotic representations. The theoretical frame of pragmatic semiotics associated in triadic semiotic of Peirce, allows to structure the cognitive level of the personal working space of the student in a syntactic, semantic and pragmatic plan. Every level has its appropriate functioning, marked by the construction of semiotic lattices, connectings of which are the realizations of the figural, instrumental or discursive geneses. The semiotic mediation of the professor, the external factor in working spaces, intervenes at the level of these geneses. Two approaches were considered to study concretely working spaces : a local approach of micro-didactic analysis of a resolution of geometrical problem, and a global approach at the level of a sequence of class
