Abstract:
This research is to find the relationship and influence of arm strength, flexibility, achievement motivation on the results of field tennis forehands. The method used in this study uses a survey method using korelasoinal. The number of samples used was 11 students who are members and active in UKM tennis field. Data collection tools used consisted of a questionnaire, namely a questionnaire about achievement motivation and tests for arm power tests, were discussed, and forehand tests consisted of speed and accuracy. The results obtained are arm strength that is collected and has a positive relationship with the results of the forehand, denies and has a positive relationship with the results of the forehand, as well as related achievement motivation and has a positive relationship with the results of the forehand. The next research results are all three and have a positive relationship with the results of the forehand.

Abstract:
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh metode latihan resiprokal dan inklusi terhadap peningkatan teknik overhead lob forehand pada bulu tangkis. (2) Perbedaan keterampilan teknik overhead lob forehand bulu tangkis pada persepsi kinestetik tinggi dan persepsi kinestetik rendah. (3) Pengaruh interaksi antara metode latihan (resiprokal dan inklusi) dan persepsi kinestetik terhadap peningkatan teknik overhead lob forehand pada bulu tangkis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen faktorial. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan uji normalitas (Kolmogorov Smirnov) dan uji homogenitas (Levene) signifikansi a = 0.05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh antara metode latihan resiprokal dan inklusi terhadap keterampilan teknik overhead lob forehand pada bulu tangkis, (2) ada perbedaan antara keterampilan teknik overhead lob forehan bulu tangkis pada persepsi kinestetik tinggi dan persepsi kinestetik rendah, (3) tidak ada interaksi antara metode latihan (resiprokal dan inklusi) dan persepsi kinestetik terhadap keterampilan teknik overhead lob forehand pada bulu tangkis.Kata Kunci: metode latihan resiprokal dan inklusi, persepsi kinestetik, dan peningkatan teknik overhead lob forehand pada bulu tangkis The Effect of Training Method (Reciprocal and Inclusion) and Kinesthetic Perception on the Improvement of Overhead Lob Forehand in Badminton AbstractThe objectives of this research are to know: (1) the effect difference of reciprocal and inclusion teaching methods on technique improvement of overhead lob forehand in badminton, (2) the difference of overhead lob forehand technique skill in badminton in high kinesthetic perception and low kinesthetic perception, and (3) the interaction effect of training method (reciprocal and inclusion) and kinesthetic perception on technique improvement of overhead lob forehand in Badminton. The research employed factorial experiment research design. The data analysis techniques used were normality test (Kolmogorov Smirnov) and homogeneitytest (Levene) with the significance of a = 0.05 The result of this research shows that: (1) there are significant effect differences between reciprocal and inclusion training method on overhead lob forehand technique skill in Badminton, (2) there are significant differences between technique skill of badminton overhead lob forehand on high kinesthetic perception and low kinesthetic perception, and (3) there is no significant interaction between training method (reciprocal and inclusion) and kinesthetic perception on overhead lob forehand technique skill in Badminton.Keyword: reciprocal and inclusion training method, kinesthetic perception, and overhead lob forehand improvement technique in badminton

The aim of this research was to improve the skills of athletes forehand smash Semeru Puger PB Jember aged 12-15 years. The study design used is Sports Action Research that leads to a research experiment. Based on the results of data analysts, models forehand smash badminton exercise can boost the skills forehand smash badminton athletes PB Semeru. So, using the model of exercise forehand smash badminton, athlete skill Semeru Puger PB Jember age 12-15 years in doing forehand smash can be increased. Key words: forehand smash, model exercise, badminton. Abstrak: Keterampilan pukulan forehand smash atlet PB Semeru Puger Kabupaten Jember usia 12-15 tahun masih kurang baik. Salah satu latihan untuk meningkatkan pukulan forehand smash adalah menggunakan model latihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan forehand smash atlet PB Semeru Puger Kabupaten Jember usia 12-15 tahun. Rancangan penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian tindakan olahraga yang menjurus ke penelitian eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil analis data, model latihan forehand smash bulutangkis dapat meingkatkan keterampilan forehand smash bulutangkis atlet PB Semeru. Jadi, dengan menggunakan model latihan forehand smash bulutangkis, keterampilan atlet PB Semeru Puger Kabupaten Jember usia 12-15 tahun dalam melakukan pukulan forehand smash dapat meningkat. [Title: Relationship of Hand Eye Coordination, Arm Strength and Achievement Motivation with Forehand Accuracy in Table Tennis] This study aims to determine the relationship between: 1) hand eye coordination with precision forehand; 2) arm strength with forehand precision; 3) achievement motivation with precision forehand; 4) hand eye coordination, arm strength, and achievement motivation together with forehand precision. This research uses quantitative approach, survey method and correlation technique. Research subjects are athletes at pandusiwi club in dompu district as many as 30 athletes. Data analysis using correlation and regression with SPSS 20. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between: 1) hand eye coordination with precision forehand; 2) arm strength with forehand precision; 3) achievement motivation with precision forehand; 4) hand eye coordination, arm strength, and achievement motivation together with forehand precision.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh antara Latihan forehand drive menggunakan feeding dengan Latihan forehand drive groundstroke ke dinding terhadap hasil forehand drive tenis lapangan atlet putri UKM USU Tennis Club. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet putri UKM USU Tennis Club yang berjumlah 10 orang. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 8 orang. Sampel di ambil dari populasi dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Instrumen penelitian untuk pengumpulan data dengan Forehand Drive Hewitt Tennis Achievement Test yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan forehand drive. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 6 (enam) minggu dengan latihan 3 kali dalam seminggu. Hasil uji hipotesis I diperoleh thitung =17,3 serta ttabel = 3,18 dengan a = 0,05 (thitung > ttabel) berarti Ho ditolak, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan forehand drive menggunakan feeding terhadap hasil forehand drive tenis lapangan atlet putri UKM USU Tennis Club. Hasil uji hipotesis II diperoleh thitung = 7 serta ttabel = 3,18 dengan a = 0,05 (thitung > ttabel) berarti Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan forehand drive groundstroke ke dinding terhadap hasil forehand drive tenis lapangan atlet putri UKM USU Tennis Club. Hasil Uji hipotesis III diperoleh thitung = 0,66 serta ttabel = 2,45 dengan a = 0,05 (thitung < ttabel) berarti Ho diterima, artinya latihan forehand drive menggunakan feeding secara signifikan lebih besar pengaruhnya dari latihan forehand drive groundstroke ke dinding terhadap hasil forehand drive tenis lapangan pada atlet putri UKM USU Tennis Club.

3D human kinematic measurement system was adopted in this study , this study compared the kinematic characteristic between forehand and backhand serve in three types. Seven male badminton players participated in this study. After analyzing the captured images, this study come to the conclusion as follows: (a) there are significant difference between the backhand and the forehand serve,and there are no difference between difference serve types within both forehand and backhand during back swing phase, (b) there are significant difference between the backhand and the forehand serve, and there are significant difference between short serve, high serve, and drive serve within both forehand and backhand, (c) there are significant difference between the backhand and the forehand serve, and there are significant difference between short serve, high serve, and drive serve within both forehand and backhand.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh antara latihan imagery dengan menggunakan script dan video terhadap keterampilan forehand drive petenis pemula, (2) perbedaan keterampilan forehand drive antara petenis pemula yang memiliki koordinasi tinggi dan koordinasi rendah, (3) interaksi antara latihan imagery dan koordinasi terhadap keterampilan forehand drive petenis pemula. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Sampel penelitian adalah 32 orang petenis pemula mahasiswa PJKR FIK UNY yang mengambil mata kuliah olahraga pilihan tenis yang diambil dengan teknik Purposive Random Sampling. Seluruh data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes dan pengukuran terhadap koordinasi dengan menggunakan tes koordinasi mata-tangan serta keterampilan forehand drive dengan Hewitt Tennis Test. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Varian (ANAVA) dua jalur yang dilanjutkan dengan uji pairwise comparisons pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan imagery dengan menggunakan script dan video terhadap keterampilan forehand drive. (2) Ada perbedaan keterampilan forehand drive antara petenis pemula yang memiliki koordinasi tinggi dan koordinasi rendah. (3) Ada interaksi antara latihan imagery dan koordinasi terhadap keterampilan forehand drive petenis pemula.Kata Kunci: Latihan imagery, koordinasi, tenis, keterampilan forehand drive. The method of research was experimental with 2 x 2 factorial designs. Sample of research was 32 students of Physical Education Health and Recreation Study Program of The Faculty Sport ScienceUniversitas Negeri Yopgyakarta who take tennis lesson which taking with purposive random sampling technique. Data were obtained by a test and measurement on the coordination using eye-hand coordination test. Besides, forehand drive skills measurement was obtained by using Hewitt Tennis Test. The data analysis technique used was the two lines variant analysis (ANAVA) followed by pairwise comparisons test at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of this research indicate that: (1) there is a significant difference between imagery exercise using script and video on forehand drive skill. (2) there is a difference of forehand drive skills between beginner tennis players with high and low coordination. The background is because the athlete only uses a forehand to defend, whereas a forehand is good for attacking. The formulation of the problem, how to analyze the biomechanics of forehand motion in table tennis and how good hand movements, body position and leg position using forehand movements, whether the 9 angles of the movement affect the entry or absence of the ball. The aim of this research is to know how the biomechanical analysis of forehand motion in table tennis and to find out how good hand movement, body position and leg position using the forehand movement of the 9 angles affect the entry or absence of the ball. Based on processing using statistics, there is a significant difference in comparisons when the ball position hits the bet; 1) wrist position 167.875o-223.8o; 2) bending of the right elbow 82,9o-92,1o; 3) bending of the left elbow 86.24o-95.82o; 4) opening of the upper arm of the right hand 71.06o-78.95o; 5) opening of the upper arm of the left hand 45.45o-50.5o; 6) leaning body 145.54o-161.71o; 7) right leg bending 152.6o-169.5o; 9) distance of both feet 44.05o-48.94o. Instrument tes yang digunakan yaitu tes Backhand,Forehand drive, dan Kemampuan bermain. Teknik Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tes, Teknik analisis data menggunakan Kontribusi. Penelitian dilakukan di Kampus PJKR FKIP UNIB Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui Kemampuan backhand drive (X1) terhadap kemampuan bermain (Y) = 0,42. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Factorial Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian umpan balik Knowledge of Results 33% dan 100% memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan pada pengaruhnya terhadap tingkat penguasaan keterampilan Groundstroke Forehand tenis, umpan balik Knowledge of Results 33% dan 100% tidak mempunyai interaksi dengan Motor Ability dalam penguasaan keterampilan Groundstroke Forehand tenis, pemberian umpan balik Knowledge of Results 33% dan 100% memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan pada pengaruhnya terhadap tingkat penguasaan keterampilan Groundstroke Forehand tenis dengan Motor Ability tinggi, pemberian umpan balik Knowledge of Results 33% dan 100% memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan pada pengaruhnya terhadap tingkat penguasaan keterampilan Groundstroke Forehand tenis dengan Motor Ability rendah. This study compared EMG activity of young tennis players’ muscles during forehand drives in two groups, GD—those able to raise by more than 150% the vertical velocity of racket-face at impact from flat to topspin forehand drives, and GND, those not able to increase their vertical velocity to the same extent. Upper limb joint angles, racket-face velocities, and average EMGrms values, were studied. At similar joint angles, a fall in horizontal velocity and a rise in racket-face vertical velocity from flat to topspin forehand drives were observed. Shoulder muscle activity rose from flat to topspin forehand drives in GND, but not for drives in GD. Forearm muscle activity reduced from flat to topspin forehand drives in GD, but muscle activation was similar in GND. The results show that radial deviation increased racket-face vertical velocity more at impact from the flat to topspin forehand drives than shoulder abduction.

This study quantified changes in tennis skills and dose of practice in adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities following an 8-week adapted tennis program. Twenty-seven adults with disabilities (mean age 24.7) participated in an 8-week adapted tennis program (1-hour, twice a week). Participants’ racquets were equipped with sensors that measured the number of shots during the program (dose). Pre- and post-test tennis skill assessments (process scores) were conducted for the forehand and backhand. All participants showed significant improvements in forehand and backhand process scores. Level of function, but not age or disability type, was associated with forehand and backhand process scores. The number of forehand shots performed during the adapted tennis program did not change across the program. The number of forehand shots was associated with age and disability type, but not level of function. The number of backhand shots (dose) was not associated with age, disability, or level of function. The number of forehand or backhand shots (dose) was not associated with changes in forehand or backhand process scores, respectively. This study provides evidence of the efficacy of this adapted tennis program to develop fundamental tennis skills in novice players with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

This study aims to determine the contribution of leg muscle strength, hand reaction speed and wrist flexibility to the accuracy of the forehand drive in the table tennis game of the Table Tennis Association of Ujung Pandang Education Foundation (PTM YPUP) Makassar. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative methods. The population is the members of PTM YPUP Makassar with a total sample of 40 people taken by random sampling. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, normality test, linearity test, simple regression test and multiple regression test using computer facilities through the SPSS program. Based on data analysis, the results obtained: 1). There is a significant contribution of leg muscle strength to the accuracy of the forehand drive with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.710 (71%). 2) There is a significant contribution of hand reaction speed to the ability of the forehand drive with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.721 (72.1%). 3). There is a significant contribution of wrist flexibility to the accuracy ability of the forehand drive with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.631 (63.1%) 4). The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Play Practice (PP) instruction on the performance of table tennis skills. Fifty-six college students in four intact classes were taught by two instructors using PP and Skill-focused Instruction (SI). A nonequivalent control/comparison group experimental design with pre and post measures was used. Three separate ANOVAs with a repeated measure (time effect) were conducted to examine the effects of PP and SI for each of the three dependent variables: (a) forehand drive accuracy, (b) forehand attack, and (c) serve. Results demonstrated that both PP and SI conditions were effective in improving participants’ skills in forehand drive, forehand attack, and serving from pre- to posttest. However, PP was more effective in improving participants’ skills in forehand attack and serving from pre to post as compared with SI.

This study aims to discuss the interaction of learning media and the coordination of avoiding hand movements from the forehand top spin of table tennis. This study uses an experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design, the study was conducted at UPI Sumedang Table Tennis UKM with a sample of 12 people and a sample placement to groups conducted by Random Assigment technique. The results of the study based on the two-way analysis of ANNOVA show the influence of learning media on the accuracy of forehand top spinning table tennis. Related interactions between instructional media with coordinating level on the accuracy of forehand top spinning table tennis are related to autorobot and spongewheel learning media for precision forehand spin over table tennis in the discussion group it was high and there was no difference between the autorobot and spongewheel learning media towards the accuracy of the forehand top spin table tennis in the low coordi- nation group. In conclusion, autorobot learning media is better used in groups with high coordination compared to spongewheel learning media, whereas in groups with low coordination learning media is useful to improve the accuracy of forehand top spin table tennis.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan dan koordinasi mata-tangan dengan ketepatan smash forehand dalam permainan bulutangkis. Metode dalam penelitian menggunakan penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan tes pengukuran keterampilan smash forehand. Untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson product moment. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan ialah mahasiswa UKM bulutangkis dengan sampelnya menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Human movement analysis is very often applied to sport, which has seen great achievements in assessing an athlete’s progress, giving further training tips and in movement recognition. In tennis, there are two basic shots: forehand and backhand, which are performed during all matches and training sessions. Recognition of these movements is important in the quantitative analysis of a tennis game. In this paper, the authors propose using Spatial-Temporal Graph Neural Networks (ST-GCN) to challenge the above task. Recognition of the shots is performed on the basis of images obtained from 3D tennis movements (forehands and backhands) recorded by the Vicon motion capture system (Oxford Metrics Ltd, Oxford, UK), where both the player and the racket were recorded. Two methods of putting data into the ST-GCN network were compared: with and without fuzzying of data. The obtained results confirm that the use of fuzzy input graphs for ST-GCNs is a better tool for recognition of forehand and backhand tennis shots relative to graphs without fuzzy input.

Forehand smash is one of the techniques that every badminton athlete must master well. To do this stroke well, a good movement pattern is needed, biomotor maturity which in this study is related to the age of the athlete. So that the development of age will cause differences in movement patterns which in this study analyzes the forehand smash movement patterns in badminton based on age. It is known that the most efficient badminton technique for gaining points in badminton is the smash. The smash-hit is more likely to produce a fast shuttle lock rate performed using the forehand smash technique. So that in this study the writer will analyze a technique in badminton, namely the forehand smash technique. These findings contribute to future research on the biomechanical analysis of forehand smash motion in badminton.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media bet papan terhadap kemampuan pukulan forehand pada permainan tenis meja di kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kelapa.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yaiu desain one group pretest-postest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kelapa sebanyak 159 siswa sedangkan sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa tes. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis.Berdasarkan pengujian normalitas, pengujian homogenitas dan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai rata-rata dari hasil perhitungan nilai rata-rata pretest dan postest didapatkan nilai pretest yaitu 60,19 dan nilai postest yaitu 74,75. Terdapat pengaruh media bet papan terhadap kemampuan pukulan forehand pada permainan tenis meja dapat dilihat dari hasil perhitungan uji-t dengan nilai thitung 2,052 > ttabel 1,697 yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media bet papan terhadap kemampuan pukulan forehand pada permainan tenis meja di kelas VIII SMPN 1 Kelapa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan forehand groundstroke dan backhand groundstroke padasiswa sekolah tenis Menoreh Tennis Club, Handayani Tennis Club dan Bantul Tennis Camp.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Dyer Tennis Test. Validitas instrumen Dyer Tennis Test antara 0,80 sampai 0,90 dan reliabilitas instrumen adalah 0,90. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa sekolah tenis Menoreh Tennis Club, Handayani Tennis Club dan Bantul Tennis Camp sebanyak 32 siswa, terdiri dari 20 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan forehand groundstrokes siswa sekolah tenis Menoreh Tennis Club, Handayani Tennis Club dan Bantul Tennis Camp berkategori “sedang”. Secara terperinci terdapat 2 siswa (6,25%) berkategori “baik sekali”, 5 siswa (15,63%) berkategori “baik”, 15 siswa (46,87%) berkategori “sedang”, 8 siswa (25%) berkategori “kurang” dan 2 siswa (6,25%) rendah. Abstract:
This study aims to create a development of forehand spin training media to determine the effectiveness level of forehand spin training media development in table tennis. The problem in this study was the absence of training media focused on increasing forehand spin and the unknown of the effectiveness of developing forehand spin training media named roll spin. The research method used was development research. The development procedure used included several stages, namely: 1) Analyzing the product being developed, 2) Developing the initial product, 3) Validating the expert, 4) Field testing, 5) Product revision, 6) Field testing. The instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that the development of roll spin media proved effective as a medium of training to improve forehand spin of table tennis at UPGRIS Table Tennis club with the results of the effectiveness of media experts with a mean score of 4.5 in the "very good" category, the results of the material experts with a mean score of 4.7 in the "very good" category, and the results of the trial with the participants of UPGRIS Table Tennis club with an average number of 3.84 in the "good" category.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the forehand drive ability of the Semen Padang table tennis athletes. This type of research is descriptive where the researcher only wants to see the actual situation in the field about the ability of forehand drive in playing table tennis. The population in this study were 18 beginner table tennis athletes in Semen Padang. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling, so the number of samples was 15 people. To get data about the forehand drive capability, a test instrument was used with a target on the table. The analysis technique used is in accordance with the type of research, namely by using the percentage calculation. Based on the measurement and analysis, the results showed that the table tennis athlete of Semen Padang has the ability forehand drive in the medium category.

Subjects or samples in this study were PTMSI athletes in Bengkulu, totaling 20 people.The instruments used in this study were a questionnaire, a questionnaire, as well as an arm muscle strength test instrument and a forehand drive skill test instrument used to collect data. The stages in this study are: (1) Conducting observations, (2) distributing questionnaires and questionnaires, and (3) testing instruments for arm muscle strength and forehand drive skills. As for the value obtained r count 0.65> r table 0.468.Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and forehand drive skills in table tennis.

Populasi penelitian adalah UKM tenis Meja Universitas Siliwangi Kota Tasikmalaya sebanyak 45 orang dan dipilih 20 orang untuk ditentukan sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah tes forehand.Berdasarkan hasil pengelolahan data dengan uji statistik, ternyata secara empiric terdapat pengaruh yang sigbifikan bentuk latihan menggunakan dua meja Universitas Siliwangi Kota Tasikmalaya hasilnya hipotesis diterima dan termasuk kategori cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas, penulis menyarankan kepada berbagai pihak yang terkait dengan bidang keolahragaan, khususnya dengan cabang olahraga tenis meja, bahwa untuk menghasilkan ketepatan forehand hendaknya mencoba menerapkan bentuk latihan menggunakan dua meja dalam upaya meningkatkan ketepatan forehand atlet. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar servis forehand siswa menggunakan media meja yang di modifikasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII/A SMPN 1 Kutawaluya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan empat kali pertemuan terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus 2 kali pertemuan. Siklus pertama yang direalisasikan melalui tindakan sesuai rencana dan metode pembelajaran, hasilnya nilai rata-rata siswa dalam pembelajaran servis forehand adalah sebesar 68,06 atau 61,11% siswa lulus, dan 38,89% siswa belum lulus. Pada siklus ke dua yang direalisasikan melalui tindakan hasil refleksi dari siklus pertama, hasilnya nilai rata-rata siswa dalam pembelajaran servis forehand meningkat menjadi 77,78 atau 88,89% siswa lulus dan sisanya 11,11% siswa belum lulus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran tenis meja menggunakan media modifikasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar servis forehand siswa kelas VII/A SMPN 1 Kutawaluya.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaturan block dan random practice terhadap hasil belajar forehand dan backhand groundstroke dalam permainan tenis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel purposive yang dipilih melalui kriteria sebanyak 30 orang dengan klasifikasi (age ± 19), (tb ± 155), (bb ± 45), (22 laki-laki, 8 perempuan) kemudian dibagi kelompok block practice dan kelompok random practice. Hasil peningkatan terhadap belajar forehand, rata-rata skor block practice meningkat sebesar 8.60 (Sig. < 0.05) dan rata-rata skor random practice meningkat sebesar 5.80 (Sig. < 0.05). Sedangkan pada hasil belajar backhand, kedua metode tersebut tidak memberikan peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu rata-rata skor block practice adalah 2.53 (Sig. > 0.05) dan rata-rata skor random practice -1.46 (Sig. > 0.05). Perbandingan peningkatan hasil belajar forehand dan backhand antara metode block practice dan random practice tidak mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan (Sig. > 0.05). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode block dan random practice meningkatkan secara signifikan hasil belajar pada pukulan forehand namun tidak pada pukulan backhand. Di sisi lain perbandingan peningkatan hasil belajar antara kedua metode tersebut tidak menunjukan hasil yang signifikan baik itu pada pukulan forehand maupun backhand dalam permainan tenis.

Media pembelajaran video adalah media audio visual yang menampilkan gerak, yang dapat menyajikan gambar-gambar hidup, bukan saja sekedar suara yang dapat kita dengar tetapi secara visual juga dari video tersebut pada proses belajar mengajar, materi yang disajikan akan lebih menarik, dan tidak membosankan serta menumbuhkan motivasi belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran video terhadap pukulan forehand pada permainan tenis meja dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran video terhadap pukulan backhand pada permainan tenis meja. Jenis penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistic mengunakan SPPS denganUji Paired Sample T-Test didapatkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) dari pukulan Forehand sebesar 0,000 dan Backhand sebesar 0,000 yang semuanya < 0,025 maka Ho ditolak sehingga H1diterima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan medicine ball twist toss dan forearm pronation exercise terhadap forehand drive komunitas tenis lapangan UNIMED dengan terdapat dua bentuk latihan tersebut, yang dimana kedua bentuk latihan tersebut dirancang untuk meningkatkan hasil pukulan forehand drive pada tenis lapangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di komunitas tenis lapangan unimed yang berlokasi di Jalan Williem Iskandar Pasar V No. 1589 (lapangan Tennis FIK UNIMED). Pengambilan data dimulai dari tanggal 01 Desember – 23 Desember 2020, dengan jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang. Metode penelitian ini adalah Eksperimen dengan melakukan tes awal (pre test) yaitu forehand drive, kemudian sampel diberikan perlakukan berupa latihan medicine ball twist toss dan forearm pronation exercise dengan program latihan yang telah disusun. Kemudian setelah kurang lebih empat minggu menjalani latihan terprogram, sampel melakukan tes akhir (post test). Analisis hipotesis yaitu, pengaruh latihan medicine ball twist toss dan forearm pronation exercise terhadap peningkatan kemampuan forehand drive komunitas tenis lapangan UNIMED tahun 2020, diperoleh thitung 4,21 dan ttabel 2,26 pada taraf nyata α = 0,05 maka thitung > ttabel. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian hipotesis yaitu H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka dalam penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa “terdapat pengaruh latihan latihan medicine ball twist tossdan forearm pronation excercise terhadap peningkatan hasil pukulan forehand drive dalam permainan tennis.

Populasi adalah seluruh Pemain Putra Yunior Kabupaten Polmas dan sampel yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pemain Yunior klub Kabupaten Polmas yang berjumlah 60 orang. Namun sesuai dengan rancangan penelitian, maka dibentuk dua kelompok penelitian yang terdiri dari kelompok latihan raket berbeban dan latihan dumbel swing. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikan 95%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, maka dapat dikemukakan kesimpulan yaitu : Ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan raket berbeban terhadap keterampilan forehand dan backhand dalam permainan tenis lapangan (to = 13,457 > tt = 2,045). Ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan dumbel swing terhadap keterampilan forehand dan backhand dalam permainan tenis lapangan (to = 12,761 > tt = 2,045). Ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan raket berbeban dan latihan dumbel swing terhadap keterampilan forehand dan backhand dalam permainan tenis lapangan (to = 5,757 > tt = 2,000).

This study aimed to test (1) the differences of drill practice effect of a constant set of rising repetition and rising set of repetition continually on drive accuracy (forehand and backhand drive) for the beginner table tennis athletes, (2) the differences of the effect of high and low reaction speed on the drive accuracy (forehand and backhand drive) for the beginner table tennis athletes in Yogyakarta, and (3) the relation between drill practice and reaction speed on improving the drive accuracy (forehand and backhand drive) for the beginner table tennis athletes in Yogyakarta. This research used an experiment with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The sample was 20 beginner table tennis athletes in Yogyakarta, taken with random technique from a population of 38 athletes. The instrument for measuring reaction speed was the ruler drop test and for measuring the forehand and backhand drives was the precision of the drive accuracy. The data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA at significance level α = 0.05. The results of the study were as follows. (1) There were significant differences in the effect of a constant set of rising repetition and rising set of repetitions continually to drive accuracy (forehand and backhand drive) for the beginner table tennis athletes, as proven by the value of F = 7.538 and p = 0.014 <0, 05. The drill practice of a constant set of rising repetition was higher than the drill practice of a rising group of repetition always. (2) There was a significant difference effect of high and low reaction speeds to drive accuracy (forehand and backhand drive) for the beginner table tennis athletes, as proven by the value of F = 21.442 and p = 0.000 <0.05. High reaction speed was better than low reaction speed. (3) There was a significant relation between drill practice and reaction speed on improving punch drive accuracy (forehand and backhand drive) for beginner table tennis athletes, as proven by the value of F = 136.398 and p = 0.000 <0.05.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), penelitian ini secara obyektif atau apa adanya dengan subyek mahasiswa penjas mata kuliah pilihan tenis meja berjumlah 30 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu : (1) pendahuluan, (2) Inti (3) Penutup . Jenis data yang dikumpulkan proses belajar – mengajar berlangsung. Adapun hasil pengamatan terhadap mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar pada servis forehand dan backhand melalui media dinding permainan tenis meja pada siklus I adalah sebesar 55% dari keseluruhan pengamatan terhadap proses belajar mengajar. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85%. Sedangkan hasil pengamatan terhadap dosen pada siklus I sebesar 65% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 90%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya peningkatan yang sangat berarti dalam penerapan pembelajaran servis forehand dan backhand melalui media dinding pada mahasiswa penjas.Kata Kunci : Penerapan Media Dinding, Service Forehand Backhand, Tenis Meja. AbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement in the learning process of table tennis on forehand and backhand service through the wall media for Physical Education students. The study was conducted on the hours of learning elective courses of the third semester Physical Education students. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR), this study objectively or as it is with the subject physical education students in elective courses table tennis, amounting to 30 people. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 stages: (1) introduction, (2) Core (3) Closing. The type of data collected in the teaching and learning process. As for the results of observations of students in the teaching and learning process in the forehand and backhand service through the table tennis wall media in the first cycle were 55% of all observations of the teaching and learning process. In the second cycle increased to 85%. While the observations of lecturers in the first cycle were 65% and increased in the second cycle to 90%. So it can be concluded that there was a very significant increase in the application of learning forehand and backhand services through wall media on Physical Education students.Keywords: Application of Wall Media, Forehand Backhand Service, Table Tennis.

Tempat penelitian di Solo dan tempat pengambilan data di Lapangan tenis GOR Manahan, Jl.Adi Sucipto, Manahan, Banjarsari, Kota Surakarta, Jawa Tengah. Pada tanggal 4 Maret 2016 – 6 Maret 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan tehnik pengambilan data observasi/survey. Subjek penelitian adalah tunggal putra Tim Nasional Indonsia pada pertandingan Davis Cup antara Indonesia VS Vietnam Maret 2016 di Solo sebanyak 4 partai pertandingan. Berdasarkan pengambilan data dan olah data pertandingan Davis Cup antara Indonesia VS Vietnam adalah Total jumlah keseluruhan pukulan groundstroke forehand dan backhand pemain Indonesia adalah 1228 dengan total slice 278, topsin 904, dan flat 46 dengan prosentase slice 23%, topspin 73% dan flat 4%. Total keberhasilan pukulan groundstroke forehand dan backhand pemain Indonesia adalah 1000 pukulan dengan rally sebanyak 786 kali, point sebanyak 214 kali. Adapun kegagalan pukulan sebanyak 228 pukulan. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa forehand topspin memiliki tingkat keberhasilan pukulan paling banyak dengan prosentase 83% dalam perolehan point pemain Tim Nasional tenis lapangan pada pertandingan Davis Cup antara Indonesia VS Vietnam Maret 2016 di Solo. Abstract:
Abstract: This research was conducted to improve the students’ forehand lob skill. After reviewing some references, the researcher decided to apply part and whole method. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles and done in three meetings. The research subject were the students of VIII E of junior high school 1 Winongan 2014/2015 academic year. There were 37 students consisted of 30 males and 7 females. After the action was applied, the students who were able to show correct practice were as follows; (a) aspect of handgrip 34 (91.8%), (b) aspect of ready attitude 32 (86.4%), (c) aspect of arm attitude 33 (89.1%), (d) aspect of foot attitude 32 (86.7%), (e) aspect of the direction of suttlecock 31 (83.7%). Based on the result of the research, the researcher suggests the teacher to use part and and whole method as the alternativeteaching method in order to improve the students’ forehand lob skill.Keywords: badminton, forehand lob, part and whole methodAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pukulan forehand lob. bulutangkis. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan selama 2 siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 3 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII E SMPN 1 Winongan Kabupaten Pasuruan sejumlah 37 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 30 peserta didik laki-laki dan 7 peserta didik perempuan. Setelah diterapkannya tindakan, pesertadidik mampu mempraktikkan dengan benar adalah sebagai beriut: (a) aspek pegangan raket 34 (91,8%), (b) aspek sikap siap 32 (86,4%), (c) aspek sikap lengan 33 (89,1%),(d) aspek sikap kaki 32 (86,4%), (e) arah shuttlecock 31 (83,7%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti menyarankan agar part and whole method dapat dijadikansebagai metode pembelajaran alternatif guna meningkatkan pukulan forehand lob bulutangkis.Kata Kunci: bulutangkis, forehand lob, part and whole method.

Abstract:
The aim of this research is to improve students' table tennis forehand service skills. This research is a classroom action research. More specifically, this research is collaborative classroom action research, namely collaboration between researchers and field practitioners (teachers). This study consisted of several cycles, each cycle through stages, action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 27 students of class VIII1 SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. This study used learning tools and data collection instruments for the performance rubric of table tennis forehand service skills. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of the part method can improve the table tennis forehand service skills of class VIII1 students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. Where from 27 students have shown good results where an increase in the number of children who are able to reach or pass the minimum benchmark reference value (KKM). Based on the findings of this study, it is hoped that physical education teachers can make the method part of a solution in improving table tennis forehand service skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian keterampilan teknik forehand dan backhand drive tenis meja pada atlet usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pene-litian dan pengembangan, dengan langkah-langkah pengembangan sebagai berikut: (1) pengumpulan informasi di lapangan, (2) melakukan analisis terhadap informasi yang dikumpulkan, (3) mengembangkan produk awal (draf model), (4) validasi ahli dan revisi, (5) uji coba skala kecil dan revisi, (6) uji coba skala besar dan revisi, (7) pembuatan produk final. Subjek penelitian atlet tenis meja usia dini. Analisis data untuk uji validitas dilakukan dengan CVR (content validity ratio) dan reliabilitas dengan menggunakan Alpha Crobanch. Penelitian ini menghasilkan buku panduan instrumen penilain keterampilan teknik forehand dan backhand drive tenis meja untuk atlet pemula yang didalamnya berisi petunjuk penggunaan, lembar tugas siswa, pedoman penilaian, rubrik penilaian, serta tabel penyekoran, yang memiliki validitas yang tinggi (1) dan reliabilitas yang tinggi¸forehand drive sikap awal: r = 0,975, pelaksanaan: r = 0,961, gerak lanjutan: r = 0, 955. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan (R n D) dengan model ADDIE. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analysis, design, development or production, implementation or delivery and evaluations. Responden dalam penelitian adalah siswa putra kelas X SMA Negeri 14 Palembang. Hasil penelitian ini berupa buku pedoman servis forehand panjang bulutangkis. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli permainan bulutangkis diperoleh presentase sebesar 67,85% dalam kategori “cukup layak”.Validasi dari ahli Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) diperoleh persentase sebesar 69,64 dalam kategori “cukup layak”.Implikasi penelitian ini bahwa teknik pembelajaran servis forehand panjang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran bulutangkis.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to examine if there was a difference between forehand and backhand coincidence-anticipation timing (CAT) performance of badminton players. Badminton players participating in the study are in the age range of 18-23 ( = 20.25, SS = 1.48) and 12 top athletes who regularly participated in Super League competitions in Turkey were selected (4 female and 8 male).Those athletes were determined by using the Purposive Sampling method. Participants were 12 elit badminton players (4 female and 8 male) whose ages ranged from 18 to 23 years ( = 20.25, SS = 1.48). CAT performances were measured with modified Bassin Anticipation Timer (BAT) device. Stimulus speed used for this study was set at 4 m / s. Participants were informed about the test protocol and they performed 3 trials with a racket to familiarize BAT device. Then, participants performed 20 trials for forehand and 20 trials for backhand strokes, 40 trials in total. Collected data were transformed to absolute error (AE) and variable error (VE) scores. Independent sample t-test was employed to calculate statistical data, and the significance level was set as 0.05. Results showed that there were significant differences between forehand and backhand strokes in terms of absolute and variable error scores of participants (p<0,05). As a conclusion, CAT performance of badminton players is effected during forehand and backhand strokes. CAT forehand stroke scores are better than the backhand stroke scores.

Background: The performance outcome model in qualitative technique analysis can determine the mechanical interactions between a performance outcome and the factors that yield such results in sports techniques. Very little attention has been received for badminton forehand shots for such model work, considering the significance of this technical skill as fundamental to play badminton and as important offensive shots. Objective: This study proposes a performance outcome model that associates performance criteria and relevant mechanical variables in the badminton forehand shot technique. Methods: Literature review provided the basis of model development. The Literature research in this paper was conducted in the following databases; PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar Medline, Pedro, and Cinahl. An additional search (including relevant grey literature) was also done on the internet through ResearchGate. Relevant literature research related to the keywords such as biomechanics of badminton, badminton forehand shot, biomechanical analysis, badminton performance, racquet sports, performance indicators, technique analysis and technique models were included and reviewed. Results: The results managed to present a synthesis of the literature review and provided constructive discussions as a basis to propose a performance outcome model that illustrates mechanical interactions that contribute to badminton forehand and shot technique performance. Conclusions: This model manages to find mechanical relationships and allows for a better grasp of understanding the association between performance criteria and mechanics in the badminton forehand shot technique, which is bases on the kinetic chain principle through the body segmental coordination.

Background: The open stance forehand has been hypothesized by tennis experts (coaches, scientists, and clinicians) to be more traumatic than the neutral stance forehand as regards hip injuries in tennis. However, the influence of the forehand stance (open or neutral) on hip kinematics and loading has not been assessed. Purpose: To compare the kinematics and kinetics at the hip joint during 3 common forehand stances (attacking neutral stance [ANS], attacking open stance [AOS], defensive open stance [DOS]) in advanced tennis players to determine whether the open stance forehand induces higher hip loading. Study Design: Descriptive laboratory study. Methods: The ANS, AOS, and DOS forehand strokes of 8 advanced right-handed tennis players were recorded with an optoelectronic motion capture system. The flexion-extension, abduction-adduction, and external-internal rotation angles as well as intersegmental forces and torques of the right hip were calculated using inverse dynamics. Results: The DOS demonstrated significantly higher values than both the ANS and AOS for anterior ( P < .001), medial ( P < .001), and distractive ( P < .001) forces as well as extension ( P = .004), abduction ( P < .001), and external rotation ( P < .001) torques. The AOS showed higher distractive forces than the ANS ( P = .048). The DOS showed more extreme angles of hip flexion ( P < .001), abduction ( P < .001), and external rotation ( P = .010). Conclusion: The findings of this study imply that the DOS increased hip joint angles and loading, thus potentially increasing the risk of hip overuse injuries. The DOS-induced hip motion could put players at a higher risk of posterior-superior hip impingement compared with the ANS and AOS. Clinical Relevance: Coaches and clinicians with players who have experienced hip pain or sustained injuries should encourage them to use a more neutral stance and develop a more aggressive playing style to avoid the DOS, during which hip motion and loading are more extreme.

Context:Quantifying external workload is fundamental to training prescription in sport. In tennis, global positioning data are imprecise and fail to capture hitting loads. The current gold standard (manual notation) is time intensive and often not possible given players’ heavy travel schedules. Purpose:To develop an automated stroke-classification system to help quantify hitting load in tennis. Methods:Nineteen athletes wore an inertial measurement unit (IMU) on their wrist during 66 video-recorded training sessions. Video footage was manually notated such that known shot type (serve, rally forehand, slice forehand, forehand volley, rally backhand, slice backhand, backhand volley, smash, or false positive) was associated with the corresponding IMU data for 28,582 shots. Six types of machine-learning models were then constructed to classify true shot type from the IMU signals. Results:Across 10-fold cross-validation, a cubic-kernel support vector machine classified binned shots (overhead, forehand, or backhand) with an accuracy of 97.4%. A second cubic-kernel support vector machine achieved 93.2% accuracy when classifying all 9 shot types. Conclusions:With a view to monitoring external load, the combination of miniature inertial sensors and machine learning offers a practical and automated method of quantifying shot counts and discriminating shot types in elite tennis players.
