<em>The article reveals the features of the hotel sphere in Egypt over the past ten years. The data on the number of tourists, hotels and revenues received by the tourism industry of Egypt in the period from 2011 to 2020 are analyzed. The volume of tourist flow in the specified period is uneven, since events such as the crash of a Russian airliner or a pandemic affect the number of foreign tourists. The essence of the research concerns the impact of armed conflicts and terrorist attacks on the arrivals of foreign tourists with Egypt selected as the testing ground. The article examines the state and trends of Ukraine's foreign trade activity. The authors analyzed the volumes of Ukraine's exports and imports, the balance of Ukraine's foreign trade balance. Abstract:

There is a lack of information about fisheries and fishing boat building traditions in Egypt during the Islamic era (starting18 AH /639 AD/CE), as most sources from this period only focus on commercial or military activities. Therefore, this research refers to the types of boats that were recorded by foreign travelers to Egypt during the period under study.
