<em>The article reveals the features of the hotel sphere in Egypt over the past ten years. The data on the number of tourists, hotels and revenues received by the tourism industry of Egypt in the period from 2011 to 2020 are analyzed. The essence of the research concerns the impact of armed conflicts and terrorist attacks on the arrivals of foreign tourists with Egypt selected as the testing ground. This study examines the effect of the number of foreign tourists and foreign debt on foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data from 2005 to 2019.
