A bird survey was conducted in the Majang Forest Biosphere Reserve, Ethiopia, from February 2019 to December 2023, covering both wet and dry seasons. The study aimed to assess species diversity and habitat preferences across forest, grassland, and wetland ecosystems using stratified sampling. We assessed the abundance and behaviour of frugivorous birds in early, intermediate and mature dry forests in the Balsas river basin, Guerrero, Mexico.
