Abstract:
Cercospora sojina (Hara), an air-borne pathogen, infects soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] leaves causing frog-eye leaf spot (FLS). Three major genes (Rcs1-3) underlie resistance to the major races of FLS but two were not yet mapped. In addition quantitative trait loci provide partial resistance to many strains. FLS race 2 was an isolate first collected in the 1950’s when damaging FLS first arose. ‘Essex’ was partially resistant while ‘Forrest’ was partially susceptible to mixed races of FLS. The objective here was to identify quantitative trait loci underlying resistance to FLS race 2 in the greenhouse using recombinant inbred lines (RILs) derived from the cross of Essex by Forrest. C. sojina race 2 (ATCC 44531) was used to induce leaf symptoms on one hundred F5:14 RILs derived from the cross of Essex by Forrest. The leaf symptoms were measured at 21 days after manual infestation by wounding (dai) and again at 42 dai to show resistance to reinfestation of new leaves from the primary lesions without wounding. Bags over leaves were not used to better simulate field conditions. However, there was no significant correlation between FLS severity at 21 and 42 dai (r =0.08 and P= 0.005). At 21 dai there was a strongly significant QTL near Satt319 on LG C2 (chromosome 7; LOD 3.8; R2 52%) where the Essex allele reduced leaf symptoms by 0.7 units. At 42 dai there was a strongly significant QTL near Satt632 on LG A2 (chromosome 8; R2 was 15%; LOD was 3.6) where the Essex allele reduced leaf symptoms by 0.4 units. Neither locus mapped to the location of Rcs3. By ANOVA thirteen additional minor loci were detected on LGs A1, B1, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M and O. At two loci (LG B1 and O) the Forrest allele appeared to reduce FLS at both 21 and 42 dai. Eight loci may have reduced FLS at 21 dai (0.006 < P < 0.049; 4% < R2 > 9%) of which 5 had beneficial alleles from Forrest. Seven loci may have reduced FLS at 42 dai (0.001 < P < 0.04; 4% < R2 < 15%) of which 4 had beneficial alleles from Forrest. Therefore, quantitative resistance to race 2 of FLS was inferred to have major loci contributions from Essex and minor loci contributions from both Forrest and Essex. Resistance was dependent on plant age. Breeding and selection for FLS will be complex and may be more efficient with the markers, germplasm and models of inheritance reported here.

Abstract:
The first question to pose of Arthur Bloom's fine new biography of Joseph Jefferson is, Why did it take so long? Not Bloom's work, which has been long awaited for the obvious reason of its exhaustive research, but, rather, why has it taken until the new millennium for any scholarly biography to be written of arguably America's most popular comedian of the nineteenth century? Modern studies of Edwin Booth, Edwin Forrest, and Charlotte Cushman have appeared alongside hosts of books on lesser figures, but, for Jefferson, readers had to be content with appreciations by friends such as William Winter, Francis Wilson, daughter-in-law Eugenie Paul Jefferson, and granddaughter Eleanor Farjeon. And, of course, there was the Autobiography. That most delightful of all theatrical memoirs may explain the absence of biographical treatment. It seemed to be all there, a life retold with more charm than any historian could muster.

The goal of the current study was to construct a reference database against which misarticulations of /s/ can be compared. Acoustic data for 26 typically speaking 9- to 15-year-olds were examined to resolve measurement issues in acoustic analyses, including alternative sampling points within the /s/ frication; the informativeness of linear versus Bark transformations of each of the 4 spectral moments of /s/ (Forrest, Weismer, Milenkovic, & Dougall, 1988); and measurement effects associated with linguistic context, age, and sex. Analysis of the reference data set indicates that acoustic characterization of /s/ is appropriately and optimally (a) obtained from the midpoint of /s/, (b) represented in linear scale, (c) reflected in summary statistics for the 1st and 3rd spectral moments, (d) referenced to individual linguistic-phonetic contexts, (e) collapsed across the age range studied, and (f) described individually by sex.

Abstract:
Abstract Death marks the U.S.-Mexico borderlands. This paper considers accounts of migrant death in contemporary poetry, examining the presence of migrants, necropower, and landscape in four works: Sara Uribe’s Antígona González (Oaxaca: Sur+editions, 2012), Eduardo C. Corral’s Slow Lightning (New Haven: Yale, 2012), Balam Rodrigo’s Libro Centroamericano de los Muertos (México: Fondo de Cultura Económica, 2018), and Forrest Gander’s Be With (New York: New Directions, 2018), drawing on recent theorizations of Achille Mbembé’s idea of necropolitics/necropower from both United States and Mexican scholars. I argue that examining the poetic and the theoretical texts in light of one another offers new conclusions for both. The affective similarities across the poetic texts help connect the theorizations of necropolitics, showing that while it appears that the agents of necropower—cartel members and Border Patrol agents—are very different, they can be understood as similar actors, dressed differently. Meanwhile, examining the poems in light of necropolitical theory reveals the extent to which distinct literary traditions of representing violence and nature influence the way in which border deaths are understood.

Abstract:
Marine mussels secrete adhesive proteins to attach to solid surfaces. These proteins contain phenolic and basic amino acids exhibiting wet adhesion properties. This study used a mussel-inspired hemostatic polymer, chitosan-catechol, to treat gastrointestinal bleeding caused by endoscopic mucosal resection in a heparinized porcine model. We aimed to evaluate the hemostatic efficacy and short-term safety of this wet adhesive chitosan-catechol. We used 15 heparinized pigs. Four iatrogenic bleeding ulcers classified as Forrest Ib were created in each pig using an endoscopic mucosal resection method. One ulcer in each pig was untreated as a negative control (no-treatment group). The other three ulcers were treated with gauze (gauze group), argon plasma coagulation (APC group), and chitosan-catechol hemostatic agent (CHI-C group) each. The pigs were sacrificed on Days 1, 5, and 10, and histological examination was performed (n = 5 per day). Rapid hemostasis observed at 2 min after bleeding was 93.3% (14/15) in the CHI-C group, 6.7% (1/15) in the no-treatment group, 13.3% (2/15) in the gauze group, and 86.7% (13/15) in the APC group. No re-bleeding was observed in the CHI-C group during the entire study period. However, a few re-bleeding cases were observed on Day 1 in the no-treatment, gauze, and APC groups and on Day 5 in the gauze and APC groups. On histological analysis, the CHI-C group showed the best tissue healing among the four test groups. Considering the results, chitosan-catechol is an effective hemostatic material with reduced re-bleeding and improved healing.

Abstract:
Background & Aims: Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) is the commonest cause of chronic liver disease in the western world. Current diagnostic methods including Fibroscan have limitations, thus there is a need for more robust non-invasive screening methods. The gut microbiome is altered in several gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders resulting in altered, unique gut fermentation patterns, detectable by analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in urine, breath and faeces. We performed a proof of principle pilot study to determine if progressive fatty liver disease produced an altered urinary VOC pattern; specifically NAFLD and Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH).Methods: 34 patients were recruited: 8 NASH cirrhotics (NASH-C); 7 non-cirrhotic NASH; 4 NAFLD and 15 controls. Urine was collected and stored frozen. For assay, the samples were defrosted and aliquoted into vials, which were heated to 40±0.1°C and the headspace analyzed by FAIMS (Field Asymmetric Ion Mobility Spectroscopy). A previously used data processing pipeline employing a Random Forrest classification algorithm and using a 10 fold cross validation method was applied. Results: Urinary VOC results demonstrated sensitivity of 0.58 (0.33 - 0.88), but specificity of 0.93 (0.68 - 1.00) and an Area Under Curve (AUC) 0.73 (0.55 -0.90) to distinguish between liver disease and controls. However, NASH/NASH-C was separated from the NAFLD/controls with a sensitivity of 0.73 (0.45 - 0.92), specificity of 0.79 (0.54 - 0.94) and AUC of 0.79 (0.64 - 0.95), respectively. Conclusions: This pilot study suggests that urinary VOCs detection may offer the potential for early non-invasive characterisation of liver disease using 'smell prints' to distinguish between NASH and NAFLD.

"Effects of available soil N and rates of inoculation on nitrogen fixation by irrigated soybeans and evaluation of δ15N methods for measurement." Australian Journal of Agricultural Research 40, no. 4 (1989): 763. http://dx.doi.org/10.1071/ar9890763.

Full text
Abstract:
Nitrogen fixation by irrigated soybeans (Glycine max (L.) Merr. cv. Forrest) was studied in a field experiment on a grey clay soil at Trangie, N.S.W. during the summer of 1985-86. Cropping with oats during the previous winter diminished the concentration of plant-available nitrogen in the soil from 37.6 to 18.5 mg N kg-1 and induced differences in the natural abundance of 15N (S15N) in this nitrogen. Four rates of liquid inoculation with Bradyrhizobium japonicum strain CB 1809, interacted with soil nitrogen to produce a wide range of nodulation of the soybeans. The following main effects on growth and N2 fixation resulted: (a) Initially, growth and accumulation of plant nitrogen was lower in pre-cropped than in prefallowed soil but N2 fixation was higher. (b) Nitrogen fixation during seed development was high in pre-cropped soil and greatest at the highest rate of inoculation. It resulted in high yields of seed (3.5 t ha-1 with 100 times the normal inoculation) with significantly higher concentration of seed nitrogen than from plants grown in prefallowed soil. (c) With increasing rates of inoculation on the pre-fallowed soil, more uniform nodulation was associated with smaller variances in most of the parameters studied. Other findings included further validation of the S15N method of calculating the proportion (p) of plant nitrogen derived from N2 fixation, with good agreement between treatment effects based on such estimates and those based on the relative concentrations of ureides in vacuum-extracted xylem sap. The values of p from S15N measurements on shoot nitrogen were affected little by inclusion of root nitrogen, and similar values were obtained when uninoculated, unnodulated Forrest soybeans, a nonnodulating genotype (non-nod Clark 63) or extractable mineral nitrogen of soil were used to estimate the S15N of plant N assimilated from soil. More dry matter (flowers, young pods and older leaves) containing more nitrogen (23-26 kg N ha-1) fell from the canopy of plants during seed maturation on pre-fallowed soil (high nitrogen) than on pre-cropped soil (13-15 kg N ha-1). Several correlations between the various quantities measured were noted and are discussed. It is concluded that growing winter cereals on land newly broken from pasture, coupled with high rates of inoculation of the following soybeans, may be a profitable way of diminishing plant-available soil nitrogen, thus maximizing the contribution of nitrogen from N2 fixation with benefits in seed yield and protein content.

Cirsium forrestii, C. melanoplepis and C. taliense have been usually treated as synonyms of C. henryi. Our critical examination of type materials and field observation reveals that all the three taxa are actually not conspecific with C. henryi. Cirsium forrestii and C. taliense should be both reinstated as independent species, whileas C. melanoplepis is in fact conspecific with C. forrestii. Cirsium taliense is found conspecific with C. chlorolepis, and C. chlorolepis is newly treated as a synonym for C. taliense. We modified the description of C. henryi, which in fact only occurs in Hubei province of China. Lectotypification is proposed for C. henryi and C. taliense.

Abstract Objective In the U.S., women and culturally/linguistically diverse persons are underrepresented in research and editorial boards. This case study details how one journal, The Clinical Neuropsychologist (TCN), created and implemented a strategic plan to advance diversity and inclusion in its editorial board and process. Case Description In 2015, Dr. Yana Suchy became TCN’s first female Editor-in-Chief; and in 2016, she created the Culture and Gender in Neuropsychology Department (CGND). The CGND’s Editors are Drs. Rivera Mindt and Hilsabeck, and their mission is to diversify science and empirically-based practice within neuropsychology by (1) increasing representation of editors/reviewers from diverse backgrounds; (2) soliciting articles related to gender/culture; (3) providing resources addressing diversity issues; and (4) demonstrating editorial leadership via editorial content. Diagnostic Impressions and Outcomes In 2015, only 23% of TCN editors were women and only 2% were from diverse backgrounds. By 2018, representation of these groups increased to 50% and 13%, respectively. Also, in 2018 TCN published its first special issue on gender, numerous articles on culturally diverse populations, and the first guideline for evaluation of transgender persons. An upcoming special issue will focus on normative data for Spanish-speakers. Resources available include a Publication Guidelines Checklist, formal presentations, and informal communications (social media) to educate and engage stakeholders and consultors. These accomplishments were recently highlighted in the inaugural CGND editorial (2018). Discussion Over the last three years, TCN has taken steps to increase representation of gender- and culturally/linguistically-relevant content, editorial leadership, and professional development; thereby demonstrating that this is a tangible goal. This case study serves as a call to action for other journals to follow suit and further diversify science. References Rivera Mindt, M., Hilsabeck, R. C., Olsen, J. P., Savin, M. J., Crook, C. Abstract:
In Ukraine and Austria in 2012 − 2014 was researched the features of yield formation and grain quality of six varieties winter wheat of Ukrainian and Austrian selection with different seeding and fertilizing rates. Field research conducted in three field experiments: 1) Right Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine (PC NULES “Agronomic Research Station,” v. Pshenychne Vasylkiv district, Kyiv region); 2) zone of sufficient moisture in Austria (Wald und Myulfirtel, p. Kauttsen, North of Lower Austria); zone of unstable moisture of Austria (Nordostlyhes Flah und Hyuhelland, v. Leopoldsdorf, East of Lower Austria). Field multifactor experiments was laid on the same pattern in each of the farms in 2012 – 2014: variety (factor A); rate of nitrogen nutrition (factor B), seeding rate (C factor). Were chosen six varieties, genetically different by baking quality and origin: strong varieties – Lybid, Joseph, Midas, Capo; valuable – Balaton, Polis’ka90. Nitrogen was applicated by next four graduation(with introduction during vegetation under phases: autumn tillering – ВВСН 10-21 / spring tillering – ВВСН 25-29 / booting – ВВСН 30-31 Earing – ВВСН 51- 59): D1 – control without nitrogen; D2 – 120 kg / ha a.i .(0/60/60/0); D3 – 180 (0/60/60/60); D4 – 150 kg / ha a.i. (30/60/60/0). The article presents experimental data from two options of nitrogen supply – con trol without nitrogen (D1) and the maximum standards for nitrogen fertilization in three applying – 180 (0/60/60/60) kg / ha a.i. (D3). Seeding rate: 3,0; 4.0 and 5.0 million germinated seeds per hectare. Phosphorus and potassium – 90 kg a. i., applied as background during primary tillage. Preceded of winter wheat – winter rape. In average during years of research the highest yield made – 9.07 tonnes / ha in conditions of East Austria (p. Leopoldsdorf), North Austria (p. Kauttsen) – 9,42 and Right Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine (v. Psenychne) – 8.65 t / ha with application of nitrogen (D3). In control variant was observed significant fluctuations in yield – from 3.51 (v. Psenychne) to 5.21 t / ha (v. Leopoldsdorf). There is significant dependence between wheat yields with weather conditions of the year. Find out the optimum seeding grades for conditions of Ukraine and Austria. Estimation of the ecological plas ticity and stability of winter wheat varieties were studied. Determinants of wheat quality formation were acertained. The highest mass fraction of protein was achieved by growing strong varieties and introduction of 180 kg / ha N (D3) in all experiments, in average of the study years, in section of soil and climatic conditions (untypical droughty 2012 for v. Leopoldsdorf was excluded). The highest protein content in conditions of Right-Bank Forrest-Steppe of Ukraine obtained at level 15.8%; East Austria – 15.4% and North Austria – 15.0%. Control variant, without nitrogen, allowed to evaluate the potential of soil and variety in the studied environmental conditions – the aver age protein content in grain in conditions of Austria reached 12.2% (v. Leopoldsdorf) and 12.4% (v. Kauttsen), of Ukraine – 11.6% (v. Psenychne).

A uFRI a Fuzzy Rule Iinterpolation (FRI) számítási módszereket összefogó C implementáció, amelyet Bartók Roland implementált.

Abstract:
Calliphora maritima, C. forresri and C. gilesi from southern Australia are described as new. They belong to a group of blowflies that have the abdominal dorsum mottled gold, or checkering from gold to olive or brown, according to the angle of viewing, and have legs chiefly yellow to brown, but never entirely black. These 'golden blowflies' are readily recognised as such, even in the field, but, pending refinement of taxonomic subdivision, are here assigned only to the broad genus Calliphora Robineau-Desvoidy. A key is given for the identification of described species of 'golden blowflies'.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The influence of family, school and peers on students' emotional social development is very important as a starting point for the design of school activities that will also improve student development in an integral way. The Star of the Week program was developed with the aim of helping students apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to socialize and understand and manage emotions. This study uses the Thiagarajan model stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate (4D). The results of the validity test from the experts show that this program has workable value with 91.1% material aspects, 90% emotional development aspects and 92% presentation aspects. For the practicality test results through teacher questionnaires obtained scores of 90%, and 88.67% through teacher observations of children who are in the high practical category. The results of the program effectiveness test showed a value of 89.08% on children's social-emotional development, because it showed an increase in values before and after the intervention. The implication of further research is that it is hoped that various kinds of learning methods will develop aspects of child development based on cooperation and peer relationships. Abstract:
We consider the influence that John Forrester’s work has had on thinking in, with, and from cases in multiple disciplines. Forrester’s essay ‘If p, Then What? Thinking in Cases’ was published in History of the Human Sciences in 1996 and transformed understandings of what a case was, and how case-based thinking worked in numerous human sciences (including, centrally, psychoanalysis). Forrester’s collection of essays Thinking in Cases was published posthumously, after his untimely death in 2015, and is the inspiration for the special issue we introduce. This comprises new research from authors working in and across the history of science and medicine, gender and sexuality studies, philosophy of science, semiotics, film studies, literary studies and comparative literature, psychoanalytic studies, medical humanities, and sociology. This research addresses what it means to reason in cases in particular temporal, spatial, or genre-focused contexts; introduces new figures (e.g. Eugène Azam, C. S. Peirce, Michael Balint) into lineages of case-based reasoning; emphasizes the unfinished and unfinishable character of some case reading and autobiographical accounts; and shows the frequency with which certain kinds of reasoning attempted with cases fail (often in instructive ways). The special issue opens up new directions for thinking and working with cases and case-based reasoning in the humanities and human sciences.

Abstract:
The braconid subfamily Microgastrinae are ecologically important parasitoids of larval lepidopterans, but are poorly studied in many regions of the world. In this study, we focus on describing new species of microgastrine wasps, in part from specimens collected on six different ‘Bush Blitz’ surveys of regional reserves in South Australia and Tasmania. Ten species of Microgastrinae are described as new and DNA barcodes of the genes COI and wingless are provided: three species in the genus Choeras Mason: C. bushblitz Fagan-Jeffries & Austin sp. nov., C. parvoculus Fagan-Jeffries & Austin sp. nov., and C. zygon Fagan-Jeffries & Austin sp. nov.; six species in the genus Dolichogenidea Viereck: D. bonbonensis Fagan-Jeffries & Austin sp. nov., D. brabyi Fagan-Jeffries & Austin sp. nov., D. forrestae Fagan-Jeffries & Austin sp. nov., D. garytaylori Fagan-Jeffries & Austin sp. nov., D. kelleri Fagan-Jeffries & Austin sp. nov., and D. lobesiae Fagan-Jeffries & Austin sp. nov.; and one species from the genus Sathon Mason: S. oreo Fagan-Jeffries & Austin sp. nov. These new species represent just a small fraction of the potential of ‘Bush Blitz’ surveys in regional Australia, which provide DNA-quality material allowing an integrative taxonomic approach and offer a window into the biodiversity of some of the least studied areas of the continent.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT STP-C488 (STP of herpesvirus saimiri [HVS] group C strain 488 [C488]) is the only virus-encoded protein found to associate with cellular ras and activate ras signal transduction pathways. To investigate an important role forras signal transduction in STP-dependent growth transformation, we constructed recombinant strains of HVS C488 in which the STP-C488 oncogene was replaced with cellular normal ras (c-ras) or viral oncogenic ras (v-ras). Recombinant HVSΔSTP/v-ras immortalized primary common marmoset T lymphocytes to interleukin-2-independent growth as efficiently as wild-type HVS C488 (wt HVS), while recombinant HVSΔSTP/c-ras did so with low efficiency. Whereas wt HVS immortalized CD4− CD8+ single-positive T lymphocytes, HVSΔSTP/c-ras- and HVSΔSTP/v-ras-immortalized cells were principally CD4+ CD8+ double-positive T lymphocytes. In addition, HVSΔSTP/v-ras-immortalized T cells showed a high level of ras expression and exhibited an adherent macrophage-like morphology. These phenotypes were likely caused by the drastic activation of AP-1 transcriptional factor activity. Finally, HVSΔSTP/v-ras and HVSΔSTP/c-ras each induced lymphoma in one of two common marmosets, although onset of disease was more rapid with the v-ras virus. These results demonstrate that ras can substitute for the STP oncogene of HVS C488 to allow immortalized growth of primary lymphoid cells and that an activated form of ras does so more efficiently than the normal cellular form of ras.

Abstract:
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a relapsing, acute, and chronic skin disease featured by intractable itching, eczematous skin. Conventional therapies based on immunosuppression such as corticosteroids are associated with multiple adverse reactions. Periploca forrestii Schltr saponin (PFS) was shown to potently inhibit murine arthritis by protecting bone and cartilage injury and suppressing NF-κB activation. However, its therapeutic effect on oxazolone-induced atopic dermatitis (AD) and the underlying mechanisms on macrophage are still unclear. The AD-like dermatitis was induced by repeated oxazolone challenge to the skin of BALB/c mice in vivo. Blood and ears were biochemically or histologically processed. RT-PCR, western blotting, and ELISA were conducted to evaluate the expression of macrophage factors. Mouse bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) were used as a model in vitro. PFS treatment inhibited AD-like dermatitis development. PFS downregulated epidermis thickness and cell infiltration, with histological analysis of the skin lesion. PFS alleviated plasma immunoglobulin (Ig) E, IgG2a, and IgG1 levels. PFS downregulated the expression of M1 macrophage factors, tumor necrosis factor- (TNF-) α, interleukin- (IL-) 6, monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1), and nitric oxide synthase2 (NOS2), and M2 macrophage factors, IL-4, arginase1 (Arg1) and CD163 in AD-like skin, which were confirmed by western blot and ELISA analysis. In addition, PFS inhibited LPS-induced macrophage polarization via the inhibition of the phosphorylation of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) and nuclear translocation of NF-κB p65. These results suggest that PFS exerted an antidermatitis effect against oxazolone by modulating macrophage activation. PFS administration might be useful in the treatment of AD and inflammatory skin diseases.

Abstract:
Digital transformation is a key determinant in global economic growth and development. There are serious risks of digitalization of markets and society. In order to understand the key trends in consumer behavior under the conditions of digital economy, the analytics of various global consulting companies such as McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), the consulting company Gartner, Inc., companies Deloitte, Bain & C, Forrester Consulting were summarized in this study. Based on the analysis, the main shifts in consumer behavior in the post-industrial society during the transformation of the service economy into the consumer environment of the digital economy are determined. The article describes the changes in the pReferences and behavior of customers in the post-industrial economy under the influence of digital transformations. The result of the study led to the understanding of the fact that the buyer cannot predict his/her experience, since the participation of the buyer himself/herself in determining the value is increasingly required, which leads to the formation of the phenomenon of “co-creation of the value”.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was to investigate whether protein deficiency concurrent with the acute phase of infection with the murine nematode Heligmosomoides bakeri (Durette-Desset, Kinsella and Forrester, 1972; Tenora and Barus, 2001) affected the resting metabolic rate (RMR) in BALB/c mice, and whether deworming caused RMR to return to normal. Mice fed either a protein-sufficient (PS, 24%) or protein-deficient (PD, 3%) diet were infected with 100 larvae, and then treated with an anthelmintic drug on 9 and 14 days postinfection (dpi). RMR was measured on –2, 2, 7, and 19 dpi. The results showed that protein deficiency did not affect RMR at any of these times. RMR was unchanged immediately following infection (2 vs. –2 dpi) at the time when larvae are first embedded in the serosal musculture. Surprisingly, at 7 dpi when larvae migrate from the serosal musculture into the intestinal lumen, RMR was significantly lower in both diet groups compared with earlier time points. This reduced RMR persisted even after deworming. Possible reasons for these results are discussed.

2018. április-májusában 1085 fős online megkérdezést végeztünk abból a célból, hogy a magyar lakosság turizmussal kapcsolatos beállítódását vizsgáljuk, generációs vetületben. A megkérdezés reprezentatív a 15-74 éves magyar lakosságra nem, korcsoportok (10 éves intervallumok) és a lakóhely régiója alapján.[1] Az elemzésbe öt változót vontunk be: nem, generációk, lakóhely településtípusa, iskolai végzettség foka, jövedelmi helyzet szubjektív megítélése. Jelen tanulmány a kutatás azon eredményeit elemzi, amelyek a turizmus életminőségre gyakorolt hatásaira vonatkoznak. Olyan fontos kérdésekre keressük a választ, hogy korunk rendkívül fontos társadalmi jelenségét, a turizmust, mennyire tekintik a fogyasztók az életminőségüket jelentősen befolyásoló tényezőnek, és milyen mértékben jelenti számukra a boldogság forrását. Az elemzés során statisztikai módszerekkel vizsgáljuk, hogy az iskolai végzettség fokához, illetve a jövedelmi helyzet szubjektív megítélése alapján a különböző fogyasztói csoportoknak az egyes kérdésekre adott válaszaiban vannak-e statisztikailag igazolható eltérések. Az eredmények hasznos információkat szolgáltatnak a turizmusmarketing és a turisztikai termékfejlesztés területén dolgozók számára. Abstract:
Contractile properties were determined for muscles from three species ofAntarctic fish with broadly similar activity patterns:Trematomus hansoni, Notothenia rossii and Chaenocephalus aceratus. C. aceratus differs from theother species in that the genes for the respiratory pigments are not expressed. Red and white fibres were isolated from the pectoral fin adductor and trunkmuscles, respectively. Fibre segments were chemically skinned with the nonionicdetergent Brij-58. All experiments were carried out at 0°C. Maximum isometric tensions (Po) were 6.6–7.1 Ncm−2for red, and 21.4–25.1 Ncm−2 for white muscle fibres. The force-velocity (P-V) characteristics of musclefibres were determined by step isotonic releases. Unloaded contraction velocities (muscle lengths s−1, Los−1) were 0.7 for red, and 0.9?-1.1 for white fibres. Maximum mechanical power outputs (Wkg−1 muscle for white muscle), calculated using Hill's equation for muscle shortening, were 26.7 (T.hansoni), 15.7 (N. rossii) and 22.7 (C. aceratus). Corresponding values forred pectoral muscle fibres were around 4.2 Wkg−1 for all three species. Maximum activities of enzymes of carbohydrate utilization (hexokinase, phosphofructokinase, lactate dehydrogenase), fatty acid metabolism (carnitine palmitoyl transferase, 3-OH acyl CoA dehydrogenase) and aerobicmitochondrial metabolism (cytochrome oxidase) were measured in musclehomogenates from C. aceratus and N. rossii at 0°C. Red pectoral musclefibres from C. aceratus and N. rossii had similar activities of cytochromeoxidase, carnitine palmitoyltransferase and glycolytic enzymes. Hexokinaseactivities were two times higher in the red fibres of C. aceratus than N. rossii, suggesting a greater capacity for aerobic glucose utilization in the former species. In spite of the lack of respiratory pigments, the metabolic and mechanicalcharacteristics of the swimming muscles in C. aceratus apppear to be similarto those of other Notothenioids. Power outputs and enzyme activities ofAntarctic fish muscle measured at 0°C are comparable to those for temperatespecies measured at 15 or 25°C, indicating a high degree of cold-adaptation ofboth energy-producing and energy-utilizing pathways.

Abstract:
A kiegészítő melléklet szöveges információi a számszerű adatok pontosabb értelmezéséhez szükségesek. A vállalatok hatékony működéséhez, a megfelelő döntéshozatalhoz, a kockázatok értékeléséhez nyújthat segítséget egy-egy piaci szereplő (vevők, szállítók, versenytársak stb.) kiegészítő melléklete.

B. davidii Franche. W. N. Ellis, A. C. Ellis-Adam.

Abstract:
With the purpose of promoting nomenclatural stability, this paper addresses a number of errors, omissions, and controversial conclusions in a recent revision of the green lacewing genus Ceraeochrysa by Freitas et al. (2009). 1. Valid species, new combinations and synonymies: (a) We identified Ceraeochrysa chiricahuae Freitas and Penny (in Freitas et al. 2009), Chrysopa forreri Navás, and Chrysopa intacta Navás as subjective synonyms. Thus, Ceraeochrysa intacta, a species that was previously synonymized under Ceraeochrysa placita (Banks), becomes the valid name of the species [New status, new combination]. Chrysopa forreri is now synonymized under Cer. intacta, not Cer. placita [New synonymy]. And, Cer. chiricahuae becomes a junior synonym of Cer. intacta, not a valid species of Ceraeochrysa [New synonymy]. (b) We enumerate specific internal and external features of the Chrysopa cornuta Navás type that identify it as conspecific with Ceraeochrysa caligata (Banks), not Ceraeochrysa cincta (Schneider) as proposed by Freitas et al. (2009). Thus, Ceraeochrysa cornuta (Navás), which has priority, is reinstated as the valid name [Reinstated status, reinstated combination], and Ceraeochrysa caligata (Banks) is reinstated as a junior subjective synonym of Cer. cornuta, not a valid species [Reinstated synonymy]. (c) We provide documented evidence for reinstating three synonymies that Freitas et al. had reversed [Reinstated synonymies]: (i) Allochrysa parvula Banks is a junior subjective synonym of Ceraeochrysa lineaticornis (Fitch); (ii) Chrysopa columbiana Banks is a junior subjective synonym of Ceraeochrysa lineaticornis (Fitch); (iii) Chrysopa rochina (Navás) is a junior subjective synonym of Ceraeochrysa cincta (Schneider). 2. Generic assignments: (a) Visual evidence is provided for the placement of Ceraeochrysa laufferi (Navás) in Ungla. Therefore, Ungla laufferi (Navás) is reinstated as the valid name [Reinstated combination]. (b) We question Freitas et al.’s rationale for including Cer. placita (Banks) and Cer. intacta (Navás) (as Cer. chiricahuae Freitas and Penny) in the genus Ceraeochrysa; female and larval features of the two species differ markedly from those used to characterize Ceraeochrysa species. As an alternative that recognizes the uncertainty surrounding the generic placement of these species and that avoids additional, unnecessary name changes, we propose including the caveat “genus incertae sedis” with the names, as follows: Ceraeochrysa placita (Banks), genus incertae sedis, and Ceraeochrysa intacta (Navás), genus incertae sedis. 3. Type designations: (a) Errors concerning the Chrysopa furculata Navás type in the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris (MNHN), are corrected, and doubts raised by Freitas et al. (2009) concerning the identification of this specimen as the holotype are removed. (b) The earlier designation of the Chrysopa rochina (Navás) type in the MNHN as the lectotype (not holotype) is verified.

Abstract:
%), ami mellett H2O-t (<3,5 mol. %) és N2-t (<0,2 mol. %) is kimutattunk. A fluidumzárványokban azonosított szilárd fázisok leányásványok, magnezitből és anhidritből állnak. Amfibolok zárványaiban szintén CO2 a leggyakoribb komponens (>98 mol. %), ami mellett H2O-t (<1,2 mol. %), N2-t (<0,1 mol.
