Abstract:
Abstract— In an organizational environment, there are various business process models with the same procedures. If an organization builds a system with the same procedure repeatedly, it will undoubtedly incur a lot of effort and money. Therefore, it is necessary to extract common fragments to save effort. This research uses four scenarios of business process models: sequence, branching, nested branching, and looping. This study uses Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) notation so that the process model consists of activities, connectors, and gateways. Structural similarity is measured using the Jaccard similarity formula by comparing the process model. The similarity of behavior is measured using the Transition Adjacency Relations (TARs) method to obtain common fragments. The results show that the sequence process model will produce a common fragment that tends to be sequential too. The branching will produce a common fragment that tends to branch, and nested branching will produce a common fragment that tends to be branched and nested, as well as looping will produce a common fragment contains looping too. The experimental results show that the proposed method can extract common fragments based on the available business process models.

 Abstrak— Dalam lingkungan organisasi, terdapat berbagai model proses bisnis dengan prosedur yang sama. Jika suatu organisasi membangun sistem dengan prosedur yang sama secara berulang-ulang, niscaya akan mengeluarkan banyak tenaga dan biaya. Oleh karena itu, perlu mengekstrak fragmen umum untuk menghemat tenaga. Penelitian ini menggunakan empat skenario model proses bisnis yaitu sequence, branching, nested branching, dan looping. Penelitian ini menggunakan notasi Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) sehingga model proses terdiri dari aktivitas, konektor, dan gateway. Kemiripan struktural diukur menggunakan rumus kemiripan Jaccard dengan membandingkan model proses. Kesamaan perilaku diukur menggunakan metode Transition Adjacency Relations (TARs) untuk mendapatkan fragmen yang sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model sequence process akan menghasilkan common fragment yang cenderung berurutan juga. Percabangan akan menghasilkan fragmen umum yang cenderung bercabang, dan percabangan bersarang akan menghasilkan fragmen umum yang cenderung bercabang dan bersarang, serta perulangan akan menghasilkan fragmen umum yang berisi perulangan juga. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa metode yang diusulkan dapat mengekstrak fragmen umum berdasarkan model proses bisnis yang tersedia.

La publication d’une nouvelle édition d’un fragment d’un exercice de calligraphie en latin, en provenance d’Egypte, et datant du premier siècle ap. J-C. (P. Mich. VII 459, in ZPE 2020), a permis d’identifier deux séquences textuelles. Ces deux fragments hexamétriques ne peuvent avec certitude être rattachés à un texte ou même à un auteur connu, mais semblent toutefois appartenir au genre épique. Le premier fragment consiste en une invocation à Jupiter (Iuppiter omnipotens). Le deuxième est un adjectif rarissime, auricomus/ lauricomus. Sans prétendre à une paternité certaine, ces deux possibles fragments d’hexamètres latins peuvent enrichir la collection des Fragmenta poetarum Latinorum anonymes.

In the authoritative new collection of the Tragicorum Graecorum Fragmenta (TrGF), a five-trimeter passage appears as No. 624 in the second volume which contains the ‘Fragmenta adespota’. Whereas Nauck placed the lines among the ‘Fragmenta dubia et spuria’ of Euripides (Eur. fr. 1131), Kannicht and Snell separate them totally from the Euripidean fragments and associate them with various pseudepigraphical pieces of tragic poetry which are commonly thought to have originated in the ‘workshop of a Jewish forger’. The purpose of my article is to challenge this decision and to show that TrGF 2.624 may well be genuine poetry by Euripides if we restore the lines to their probable original form. An attempt to reconstruct the original context of the fragment will also be added.

Abstract:
We evaluate whether landscape variables surrounding urban remnant forest fragments influence ant diversity and its components in urban areas. The study was conducted in six riparian forest fragments in midwestern Minas Gerais State, Brazil, by sampling epigaeic and arboreal ants. Arboreal ants respond to fragmente isolation with changes in alpha, beta and gamma diversities. Isolation likely hinders dispersion and re-colonization such that the more isolated a fragment is, the less likely that new species arrive there. On other hand, epigaeic diversity did not show any response to variables of the surroundings or fragments, probably because natural periodic floods constitute a more severe disturbance for these ants. In addition, throughout the process of urbanization, anthropogenic improvements, such as paving, that prevent the natural percolation of water, increase the flooding of riparian soil. Arboreal ant species composition responds to percentage of urban area, fragment area and distance from the urban center, while epigaeic ants respond only to fragment area and percentage of urban area. We believe that even with the loss of species diversity and anthropogenic influences on fragments within urban centers, these areas are still important for species conservation. We also suggest the development of environmental protection projects for riparian áreas within urban centers, including investments in ecological corridors connecting fragments and public policies seeking to preserve these areas.

Abstract:
Habitat loss and fragmentation are leading threats to biodiversity today, and primates are particularly vulnerable to anthropogenic habitat disturbance. However, few studies have examined how differential effects of variation in forest fragment characteristics on males and females in a primate population may affect demography and population persistence. We quantified the effects of variation in forest fragment characteristics on the within-fragment demography of black howler monkeys (Alouatta pigra) in forest fragments around Palenque National Park, Mexico, and how these effects differed between adult males and females. We quantified forest loss in the landscape between 2000 and 2017, and used a redundancy analysis to examine the effects of 15 variables quantifying fragment dimensions, forest composition and physical structure, and isolation on fragment population size and density, the proportion of adult males and females in the fragment population, and the mean number of adult males and females per group in 34 fragments (N = 393 monkeys). We hypothesized that (i) population size is positively correlated with fragment area, while population density is negatively correlated, and (ii) the composition of fragment populations results from differential effects of fragment variables on adult males and females. Forest cover decreased by 23.3% from 2000 to 2017. Our results showed a significant effect of fragment variables on population demography in fragments, accounting for 0.69 of the variance in the demographic response variables. Population size increased with fragment area and connectivity, while density decreased. Larger, less isolated fragments with better connectivity, characteristics indicative of abundant secondary growth, and those with more diverse vegetation but lower Simpson’s evenness indices tended to have more adult females per group and a higher proportion of adult females in the population. In contrast, fragments that were largely similar in characteristics of forest composition and structure, but that were more isolated from nearby fragments, had more adult males per group and a higher proportion of adult males. These results may stem from black howler females preferentially remaining in natal groups and fragments when possible, and dispersing shorter distances when they disperse, while males may be more likely to disperse between fragments, traveling longer distances through the matrix to more isolated fragments. These differential effects on males and females have important conservation implications: if females are more abundant in larger, less isolated fragments, while males are more abundant in more isolated fragments, then to effectively conserve this population, both landscape connectivity and fragment areas should be maintained and increased.

Abstract The temporal-spatial evolution process of fragment power field is the basis for calculating the state of fragment-target encounter and damage assessment. In order to accurately describe the temporal-spatial evolution process of the fragment power field of the axial preformed fragment warhead, the numerical simulation method is used to analyse the fragment dispersion characteristics of different warheads, and the fragment velocity attenuation model is established by programming. The numerical simulation results are used as the initial value to substitute into the model to obtain the temporal-spatial evolution process and the hitting target process of the fragment power field. The results show that the multi-layer fragments will collide many times under the action of detonation load, and the collision will lead to the decrease of the average velocity of the same fragment layer and the increase of the scattering angle. After increasing the number of fragments, the outer fragments are more concentrated, but the average velocity is significantly reduced, and the fragment miss rate increases. This study can provide a calculation basis for the state of fragment-target encounter and the static and dynamic explosion test of fragment warhead.

Fragment E bound specifically but at a much lower level than the other fragments. Fragment D1 was able to compete for the binding of radiolabeled fragments X and Y but not radiolabeled fragment E. These studies indicate that fragments D and E are recognized by separate receptor systems but that all of the fibrinogen degradation products that contain the D domain are recognized by the same receptor system.

This fragment, itself incomplete, reads as follows: ... tò γáp αùtò voεîV εótiv tε Kαi εîvαi Which can be translated as: . . . for this is the same, to think and to be There is no disagreement that in Fragment Three Parmenides is in some way relating voεîv ("thinking") to εîvαi ("being"). The primary, but not the only problem which it poses is this: in the identification between thinking and being, are these words a mere statement that being is intelligible, or are they an assertion that Being is intelligent? Most modern commentators side with the former interpretation which accords with the view that reality/being is ultimately objective and impersonal. To maintain this position they are forced to construe the active infinitive voεîv as passive in meaning, with the further corollary that this verb-form implies mere possibility. The first proponent of this interpretation, Eduard Zeller, provided no justification for it. Post factum attempts by John Brunet and Uvo Holsher to provide the needed justification have proven to be groundless. The linguistic and literary evidence points overwhelmingly to the active meaning. Further, the prima facie interpretation of the parallel texts within the poem, as well as all the extant ancient testimonia (Clement of Alexandria, Plotinus, Proclus) support the active meaning. This thesis differs, then, from those interpretations which assume that Fragment Three distinguishes (thinking) subject from (inanimate) object; as well as from the view adopted by Heidegger that it means merely that being is the only possible object of knowledge. The conclusion of this thesis is that for Parmenides "to think" is identical with "to be" absolutely, that Being is not only one, but is alive and the center of consciousness, i.e. is Mind. Hence the fundamental question which Parmenides' poem answers is not "What is being?" but rather, "What is the way to the One-Who-Is?"<br>2031-01-01

Abstract:
A divergent synthesis of spiroketals has been developed via the coupling of ortholactone and allylsilane fragments. This work expands upon earlier efforts into an intramolecular silyl modified sakurai reaction reported by Marko et al. The route provides a simple approach towards the divergent synthesis of complex structures which could be used in the synthesis of natural products and pharmaceutical molecules. The scope of this reaction has been amplified by the development of a novel methodology towards the synthesis of ortholactones via an oxidative catalytic nucleopalladation system which has allowed for the synthesis of a vast range of synthetically useful and highly functionalised ortholactones from readily accessible dihydropyran building blocks. The utility of these highly functionalised ortholactones is also demonstrated in a stereoselective rearrangement to form a substantial number of gamma-lactone structures, which are a common motif in a wide variety of natural products.

This bachelor essay presents some aspects of Sunniva Ingvarssons painting process.  Comparing the painterly act with writing (about the field of her practice) the text aims to grasp some outlooks on the use of words or verbal contentmaking connected to a nearly nonverbal expression.  The painted gestures and markmakings are being discussed as meaningless in a meaningful way, arguing whether the parameters of the established should be taken in consideration in the artistic research, or not.  Based on subjective experiences and some readings including Susan Sontag, Judith Butler (and Friedrich Schlegel) there is an aim to make the reader understand the eventual importance of the un-validated thoughts art possibly can consist of, with permission of only the artist.

Abstract:
Abstract Utilizing a large two-stage light gas gun, 3-cm-diameter spheres were impacted into Al 2024-T351 targets. The fragments were collected from the floor of the impact chamber and were analyzed. In particular, there is interest as to the fragment size distribution and the fragment shape distribution. The fragments were sorted in size, and those from roughly 0.1 g to 35 g were individually tabulated. This allowed the development of a fragment size distribution for these fragments. Then, all the fragments were optically analyzed to provide a quantitative characterization of their shape. The fragments are predominately flat, a shape that appears to correlate with an intersecting shear plane mechanism for the fragment formation in the crater formation. The fragment distribution shows that there are two different fragment formation mechanisms, which it is concluded are due to fragments formed in the interior of the crater entirely of interacting shear planes vs. those whose formation is influenced by the target free surface. The results are compared to other work on fragmentation.

The Sandia hydrocode CTH is used with reactive burn modeling to identify relationships between spherical fragment separation distances, variable fragment arrival timing, and initiability in energetic materials. This work demonstrates that detonation is most likely to occur is when multiple fragments collide with a surface simultaneously, because of the cumulative pressure rise of two equal colliding waves compared to the colliding waves generated by fragment impacts offset in time.

Abstract:
Binding of fibrinogen by thrombin was measured by inhibition of amidolysis of S2238 and found to be 12 μM. Upon digestion of fibrinogen with plasmin (0.16ugs/mg fibrinogen) for 4 hours at 37°C, thrombin binding activity remained in the supernatants upon heat treatment. The thrombin binding activity in the dialyzed supernatant reached a maximum after two hours coinciding with maximal release of B 1-42 and 45-39 KDa chain fragments. Measured immunologically, levels of fragment E at this time were 45% of the maximum generated after 4 hours digestion. FPA levels in the dialyzed supernatant (measured by RIA and HPLC) after thrombin treatment, were zero and did not increase until 1½ hours after the beginning of digestion, reaching a maximum at 4 hours. The thrombin binding activity generated was stable to further plasmin action. Upon gel chromatography of 2 and 4 hour supernatants, thrombin binding activity coincided closely with fragment E, measured immunologically. Further purification showed the fragment to have Ki for thrombin amidolytic activity of 0.5μM. The fragment also inhibited the thrombin clotting time of plasma but did not affect fibrin monomer polymerization.The fragment was susceptible to very slow inactivation by thrombin but not arvin (though it did inhibit arvin amidolytic activity). A thrombin binding (thrombin inhibitory) fragment is therefore generated during the early stages of f ibrinogenolysis and may be the result of protection by 45 and 39 KDa A α carboxy terminus fragments since E fragments generated in later stages (in the presence of 29 and 25 KDa fragments) do not have this property. These findings may give interesting new insight into thrombin/fibrinogen interaction.

Based on data from the multimedia subcorpus of the Russian National Corpus, the paper addresses prosodic features of discourse fragments introduced by the connector prichom ‘and besides’. The data of instrumental and perceptual analysis show that the fragment with prichom has communicative-prosodic autonomy: firstly, it has an internal thematic structure with an obligatory rheme and an optional theme; and secondly, there is a prosodic break before this fragment. The autonomy of the fragment introduced by prichom is preserved in a variety of contexts: (i) both in cases where this fragment is a complete clause and when it is a fragmented clause; (ii) both in those cases when the previous fragment is prosodically realized as final (projecting no continuation), and when it is realized as non-final (projecting continuation); (iii) both in those cases when the fragment introduced by prichom is an element of the main narrative chain, and when it is inserted parenthetically inside another fragment. In addition to the above, a fragment with prichom can form a separate turn in the conversation. Thus, the detected prosodic features of the fragment with prichom make it possible to objectify the idea earlier expressed in the literature (Kiselyova 1971, Vinogradov 1984, Inkova 2018, inter alia): that structures with prichom are built in two "communicative steps", or that they are used to express "concomitance established at the level of speech acts ". Clauses connected by the relationship of syntactic subordination quite often lose their prosodic autonomy (Podlesskaya 2014 a, b), and vice versa, clauses in coordinated constructions tend to retain prosodic autonomy. Therefore, the prosodic autonomy of the components of the construction with prichom, retained in various contexts, speaks in favor of its coordinated status, while a number of syntactic tests proper speak of the opposite.

Abstract:
The peridynamic theory of solid mechanics provides a natural framework for modeling constitutive response and simulating dynamic crack propagation, pervasive damage, and fragmentation. In the case of a fragmenting body, the principal quantities of interest include the number of fragments, and the masses and velocities of the fragments. We present a method for identifying individual fragments in a peridynamic simulation. We restrict ourselves to the meshfree approach of Silling and Askari, in which nodal volumes are used to discretize the computational domain. Nodal volumes, which are connected by peridynamic bonds, may separate as a result of material damage and form groups that represent fragments. Nodes within each fragment have similar velocities and their collective motion resembles that of a rigid body. The identification of fragments is achieved through inspection of the peridynamic bonds, established at the onset of the simulation, and the evolving damage value associated with each bond. An iterative approach allows for the identification of isolated groups of nodal volumes by traversing the network of bonds present in a body. The process of identifying fragments may be carried out at specified times during the simulation, revealing the progression of damage and the creation of fragments. Incorporating the fragment identification algorithm directly within the simulation code avoids the need to write bond data to disk, which is often prohibitively expensive. Results are recorded using fragment identification numbers. The identification number for each fragment is stored at each node within the fragment and written to disk, allowing for any number of post-processing operations, for example the construction of cumulative distribution functions for quantities of interest. Care is taken with regard to very small clusters of isolated nodes, including individual nodes for which all bonds have failed. Small clusters of nodes may be treated as tiny fragments, or may be omitted from the fragment identification process. The fragment identification algorithm is demonstrated using the Sierra/SolidMechanics analysis code. It is applied to a simulation of pervasive damage resulting from a spherical projectile impacting a brittle disk, and to a simulation of fragmentation of an expanding ductile ring.

In order to develop fragment mitigation solutions, fragment simulating projectile trials are often undertaken. In these, cylindrical rods are fired into targets using high velocity launchers. One key assumption of this methodology is that the projectile penetration is representative of the penetration from real explosively-formed fragments, which has not previously been investigated. Here we detail the first series of trials in which explosivelyformed fragments, which were soft-captured in previous trials, were launched from a gas gun at velocities of approximately 1-2 km.s-1 into AA6061-T6 targets. To the best of our knowledge, a first. Whilst gathered data displayed significant scatter, the results do provide confidence that fragment simulating projectile rods are accurate simulants of real fragments in impact assessments. A method of simulating the real fragment impacts was also developed, with simulations of the trials undertaken and the results of the simulations matched reasonably well to the measured penetration depths.

We investigate the computational complexity of axiom pinpointing in Description Logics, which is the task of finding minimal subsets of a knowledge base that have a given consequence. We consider the problems of enumerating such subsets with and without order, and show hardness results that already hold for the propositional Horn fragment, or for the Description Logic EL. We show complexity results for several other related decision and enumeration problems for these fragments that extend to more expressive logics. In particular we show that hardness of these problems depends not only on expressivity of the fragment but also on the shape of the axioms used.
