This thesis takes its starting point in four Stockholm locations; a self-service laundromat, a residential townhouse, a pedestrian tunnel and a public bath. They have emerged during different times but are brought together by their habitual and mundane character. They possess qualities that may not be seen at first glance, but becomes visible at a second or third viewing. The aim for this thesis has been to find what lies slightly out of sight – hidden yet visible. Through several steps of translations and fragmentation new scenarios have emerged.

Buscando o estabelecimento de base concreta para conservação dos fragmentos florestais em Ribeirão Preto, SP, foi efetuado o diagnóstico da vegetação natural no município. Existem 102 remanescentes florestais, e em 99 deles foi efetuado levantamento florístico expedito. Foram encontradas 494 espécies arbóreas, pertencentes a 74 famílias botânicas, além de 31 espécies exóticas. The article examines fragments of the medieval Hebrew maqama attributed to ʿAzarʾel ben Yosef, focusing on the narrative and stylistic elements preserved in two texts. These fragments explore themes of carousal, homoerotic desire, and the interplay of literary allusion and allegory. Fragment 1 portrays a narrator engaging in revelry and pursuing an intimate connection with a youth amidst an atmosphere of licentious behaviour. Fragment 2 continues with a surreal sequence involving women vying for the youth’s attention, the narrator’s expression of longing, and his subsequent arrest by watchmen.

This study examines the use of punctūs (or ‘pointing’) for punctuation in the most recently discovered Leipzig fragment (MS L) of the Hêliand, focusing on the frequency and distribution of pointing in various metrical and syntactic contexts of the poem. Data on punctuation, word order, and meter are provided as evidence for a close stemmatic relationship between the L- and P-fragments but a more long-distant relationship with the main Hêliand manuscript C. Based on data from the multimedia subcorpus of the Russian National Corpus, the paper addresses prosodic features of discourse fragments introduced by the connector prichom ‘and besides’.
