This chapter explores how Persian proverbial metaphors are used in discourse to frame Iran’s nuclear program. To that end, contextual uses of a sample of Persian proverbs were analysed in terms of Conceptual Metaphor Theory. Pulp screens remove fibre bundles, plastic specks and other oversize contaminants from pulp suspensions before the pulp is made into paper. Within the pulp screen is a screen cylinder that acceptable fibres pass through but oversize contaminants do not.
