Volunteer catechists are people who voluntarily become proclaimers of God's word, people who are very concerned about the development of the Church. On the basis of that call, all members of God's people have the right and obligation to participate in the duties of the Church. The focus of this research is on volunteer catechists, especially in the Church's five duties, namely Koinonia or living in fellowship, Liturgya or living in prayer/worship, Diakonia or living in service, Kerygma or living to preach, Martirya or living to give testimony. Religious practices in late medieval Kotor included charitable acts of donating clothes to the poor as a form of imitatio Christi. The model of charity for the faithful to follow was set in the vitae of widely-favoured saints such as Sts Martin of Tours, Francis of Assisi and Catherine of Sienna, whose portraits were painted on the walls of Kotor?s church of St Anne in the second half of the fifteenth century. Evidence for the prac?tice and purpose of this particular form of charity is found in the surviving wills of the citizens of Kotor. Apart from giving clothes to the poor out of concern p

The management and care of wounds play a crucial role in the healing process. Improper wound management can lead to infections, slow down the healing process, and even cause post-healing disabilities. Therefore, increasing knowledge about wound care is essential, especially in initial treatment, by conducting wound care training to prevent infections. The training was provided to the administrative staff and youth of the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Tebet. The bell tower is a masonry building, and throughout history it has undergone multiple damages and reconstructions. It was significantly damaged during the earthquake in Zagreb which occurred on 22 March 2020 with a magnitude of 5.5. The analysis was performed on a simplified FDEM 2D numerical model which corresponds to the structure in its current pre-disaster state and the structure after the proposed p

Sudden cardiac arrest is a condition that occurs quite frequently. This sudden cessation of heart function is caused by the loss of electrical activity in the heart, which results in the cessation of blood circulation throughout the body. Quick and proper handling of this condition can reduce the mortality rate due to cardiac arrest. Therefore, Basic Life Support (BLS) training needs to be conducted to educate the general public. The BLS training conducted for the management officers and youth of Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Tebet was carried out by providing theoretical and practical BLS

In 2005, during the composing of the Inventory of the Moveable Cultural Heritage of the Church and Monastery of St Francis of Assisi at Krk, three wooden statues were found in the attic. These had once belonged to a lavish Renaissance triptych at the centre of which was a figure of the Virgin (107 x 45 x 27 cm), flanked by the figures of St John the Baptist (c. 105 x 28 x 30 cm), an apostle with a book (c. 93 x 32 x 22 cm), and, in all likelihood, St James the Apostle. A trace of a small left foot in the Virgin’s lap indicates that the original composition was that of the Virgin and Child. It

Do you wish to honour the Body of Christ? Do not ignore Him when he is naked. Do not pay homage in the temple clad in silk -- only then to neglect Him outside where He suffers cold and nakedness. Today when the celebration of the Eucharist in public is not allowed, the Paschal Mystery becomes all the more relevant for the cries and agony of Corona affected people. The Paschal Mystery is to be understood as the process of dying and rising, death and new life. If we look around, we see this occurrence all around us and in our own lives. The Paschal Mystery is not merely about our own salvation.

These changes contribute to the prevalence of obesity and sarcopenia in the elderly population, impacting quality of life, morbidity and mortality.
