Freight Forwarding Liability Insurance merupakan asuransi yang wajib dimiliki oleh setiap perusahaan freight forwarding terkait rights, duties and resposnsibilities yang dipersyaratkan oleh Conventions, Undang-undang dan peraturan yang berlaku yang bertujuan untuk menghindari kebangkrutan dan meminimalisir kerugian perusahaan freight forwarding dari tuntutan fihak ke tiga atas kelalaian yang timbul dari aktivitas jasa yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan freight forwarding. 
 Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepentingan berdasarkan gambaran atau persepsi perusahaan freight forwarding anggota Asosiasi Logistik dan Freight Forwarding Indonesia (ALFI) terhadap Freight Forwarding Liability Insurance dengan menggunakan analisis conjoin. Penelitian ini ditargetkan untuk populasi anggota ALFI sebagai user atau konsumen atau pengguna jasa Freight Forwarding Liability Insurance dengan total data terkumpul sebanyak 54 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan faktor Price, Process dan Product merupakan tiga sub variabel penting bagi perusahaan logistic anggota ALFI dalam menentukan keputusan atas pembelian Freight Forwarding Liability Insurance, serta empat indikator penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam perancangan jaminan Produk Freight Forwarding Liability Insurance bagi perusahaan logistic anggota ALFI yaitu meningkatnya Harga jual Jasa perusahaan Freight Forwarding , Harga yang kompetitif, Pembayaran Klaim yang cepat dan mudah serta produk yang dapat dipercaya.

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of brand trust in achieving the competitive advantage of PT Pos Indonesia Bandung freight forwarding services. The method in this study uses quantitative methods. This research uses the Stastical Pakage for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program which aims to measure the effect of brand trust on the competitive advantage of PT Pos Indonesia Bandung freight forwarding services. The sampling technique of this study used purposive sampling and the determination of samples was calculated using the Rao Purba formula with a total sample of 96 people. The respondents of this study were users of freight forwarding services, especially PT Pos Indonesia and other freight forwarding services (TIKI, JNE, JT, etc.). The design of this study uses descriptive and verification to assess the picture and influence between variables. The results of this study indicate that brand trust has a positive and significant effect on the competitive advantage of PT Pos Indonesia Bandung freight forwarding services.

The development of multi-country consolidation services has become a major feasible direction for major ocean freight forwarding firms in Taiwan. However, ocean freight forwarding firms must ponder which factors are most important when considering with the development of multi-country consolidation services. Therefore, the main purpose of this article was to apply the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method to evaluate the key factors influencing the development of multi-country consolidation services for ocean freight forwarding firms in Taiwan. Based on the literature and experts’ opinions, a hierarchical structure with 4 assessment aspects and 16 assessment factors was first constructed, and the steps of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method then proposed. Finally, based on the analytic hierarchy process experts’ questionnaires, we used the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method to evaluate the key factors. The results showed that (1) “cost” is the most important aspect influencing the development of multi-country consolidation services for ocean freight forwarding firms in Taiwan; (2) in order of relative importance, the top eight key factors influencing the development of multi-country consolidation services for ocean freight forwarding firms in Taiwan are “cargo accuracy and tracking management,”“consolidation cost,”“deregulation of operations,”“transport cost,”“integrated logistics information management,”“high frequency of ship sailings,”“logistics-related operating costs,” and “convenience of customs clearance,” respectively. Furthermore, some discussions and recommendations concerning practical implications are provided for ocean freight forwarding firms operating in the multi-country consolidation market.

Achievement of Indonesia’s economic performance is very important factor for Indonesian national economy. Commercial activity export import significantly contributes in the national economy. The movement of goods is “the spirit” of trading activities; therefore, the role of freight forwarding companies is very strategic in supporting the progress of export import trade in Indonesia. Tight competition in freight forwarding industry that involves foreign and local company demands the kind of excellence compete for companies that want to be sustained. This research was compiled to figure out the factors that affect the competitive advantage in freight forwarding industry in DKI Jakarta. This study uses causal design as the research design as it aims to measure the relations between variables research. This study also uses a statistical multivariate to analyze the factors. Based on the factor analysis calculation, there are 27 factors that grouped into eight variables that have an impact on the competitive advantage in freight forwarding industry. These variables are macro-environment, human capital, organizational capital, financial capital, micro-environment, leadership, innovation, and marketing strategic. Among these variables, the macro-environment, human capital, organizational capital, leadership, and marketing strategic are classified as the dominant variables in explaining excellence competition advantage on freight forwarding industry in DKI Jakarta.

Abstract:
Purpose: The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of logistics optimization on performance of freight forwarding companies in Kenya.
 Methodology: Descriptive research design was adopted. The study preferred this method because it allows an in-depth study of the subject. Data was collected from deputy heads and heads of procurement in 45 freight forwarding companies in Kenya, who are registered members of KIFWA according to its 2019 directory. Questionnaires were used to collect data. The questionnaires were tested for validity and reliability using 10% of the total sample respondents. Data was analyzed through descriptive statistical methods such as means, standard deviation, frequencies and percentage. Inferential analyses were used in relation to correlation analysis and regression analysis to test the relationship between the four explanatory variables and the explained variable. Multiple regression models were used to show the relationship between the predicted variable and the predictor variables.
 Results and conclusion: The independent variables reported R value of 0.846 indicating that there is perfect relationship between dependent variable and independent variables. R square value of 0.716 which means that 71.6% of the corresponding variation in performance of the freight forwarding companies can be explained or predicted by (logistics information system, freight management, distributor base rationalization and transport planning) which indicated that the model fitted the study data. The findings of the study indicated that logistics information system, freight management, distributor base rationalization and transport planning have a positive relationship with performance of freight forwarding companies in Kenya.
 Unique contribution to theory, policy and practice: the study recommended that freight forwarding companies should embrace logistics optimization so as to improve performance and further researches should to be carried out in other institutions to find out if the same results can be obtained.

The objective of this study is to determine the influence of service quality and brand images to customer satisfaction and its impact on customer loyalty in PT Freight Solution Indonusa. The research population is all the customers export and import 200 customers. Number of sample is using Slovin formula 133 customers. The data obtained and collected through the instrument by a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data, then analyzed using path analysis. The results of the calculation and the test data can be concluded that quality of service and brand image influenced on customer satisfaction and have an impact on customer loyalty. Therfore, the quality of service and a good brand image will create customer satisfaction and enhance customer loyalty.

Abstract:
Purpose. To develop the methodology for choosing the strategies of freight forwarding companies in the situation of interaction with freight owners as customers of forwarding services. Methodology. The game-theoretical approach is used to formalize the conflict situation between a freight forwarding company and a cargo owner. A set of services proposed by forwarders is used as the base in order to represent possible strategies of a forwarder as the vector of probabilities that the respective services are provided for a client. The strategies of the cargo owner are represented as a binary variable that shows whether the client uses the provided services or not. The payoff function for a forwarder is defined as the companys profit and the clients payoff function as fee paid for forwarding services. To determine the influence of the demand parameters on the forwarders optimal strategies, the demand for transport services is represented as a flow of requests characterized by two numeric parameters delivery distance and consignment weight. Findings. The conducted experimental studies have shown that as a result of the use of the proposed methodology, the optimal strategy of a forwarding company can always be determined from the payoff matrix. The performed simulation experiment allowed us to state that in most cases the forwarders optimal strategy is mixed (the technological and commercial services should be provided with the given probability while servicing the flow of requests from freight owners). Originality. The studies on the influence of the request flow parameters on the probabilities of choosing the elementary strategies are carried in the paper for the first time. Practical value. The proposed methodology can be used as the basic tool for supporting decisions of freight forwarders while servicing the cargo owners at the market of road freight transportation.

This article examines types of informational technologies application problems, shows their scheme, observes basic data structures of technological problems, principles and methods of modeling these structures. It is noted that the solution of transport technology problems is based on the improvement of technological supply, the rational usage of informational modeling methodology of the whole transportation process. There are informational search and presentation computerized technologies when indexation and coding system are used to create them. As an example, dangerous freight forwarding resolution codification is shown, which is used for searching the most important resolutions and for their presentation to all the dangerous freight-forwarding participants. The present informational search and presentation programs that improve the possibilities of the presented search are observed as well.

Freight forwarding services are increasingly developing and each delivery service provider competes to provide the best service, resulting in competition in terms of price and delivery time, in order to attract the attention of users of shipping services. The number of service providers with various types of packages offered by freight forwarding services, making users difficult in determining the right service provider. One way to overcome this problem is by the existence of a method that can provide recommendations as consideration for making appropriate decisions. This study aims to create a decision support system for the selection of goods delivery services by applying the Simple Additive Weighting method that can solve problems by comparing between shipping services. The results of this study are in the form of conclusion calculations that can be taken into consideration for decision making in choosing the most widely chosen freight forwarding services for students and getting the best results in decision making. The results of calculations using the Simple Additive Weighting method, the highest value based on time criteria is JNE YES with a value of 0.73, based on price criteria is a vehicle with a value of 0.68, based on the weight criteria is JNE YES with a value of 0.75, while based on the volume criteria the highest value is a vehicle with a value of 0.70 .

Enactment of the application of the tax base in the form of Other Values for Freight Charges has become a smart "breakthrough" of the basic principles and tax characteristics contained in the VAT and VAT mechanism, and this policy is considered "successful" raised a complicated issue contained in the aspect fiscal (theoretical concept to aiming the difference in freight) when in fact there is no urgency or complicated issue from the fiscal aspect that requires to "other value" the freight charges for the calculation/imposition of VAT on freight charges in the delivery transaction of Freight Forwarding Services. Although taxpayers make a "breakthrough" of taxation on freight that has been considered "untaxable" beforehand, but on the other side, it is unfortunately the concept of taxation based on Regulation Finance Minister no. 38 / PMK.011 / 2013 on amendment to Regulation of the Minister of Finance no. 75 / PMK.03 / 2010 concerning other Values may cause losses for state revenues, because the VAT mechanism is disrupted due to theoretical concept of the tax base has not effectively being aiming. From the point of view of revenue productivity principle, the concept raises a new problem that really does not need to happen because basically the realization of the transactions of freight differences that can be "captured" from commercial bookkeeping held based on the applicable Financial Accounting Standard is an indication of the creation of an added value that become the object of VAT imposition. The application of the tax base in the form of Other Values for Freight Charges has "damaged" the value of the basic principles and tax characteristics contained in the VAT and VAT mechanism by means of to "other value" such freight charges for VAT calculation/imposition of VAT on freight charges in delivery transactions of Freight Forwarding Services (JPT / FF).

The conditions of application of the service individualization method in practice are studied. The systematic use of this indicator will allow an organization in the field of freight forwarding services to form partnerships with customers, increase their satisfaction and loyalty, and ensure a sustainable nature of interaction with customers in the long term. In this regard, the assessment of client performance indicators is the basis for the development of an organization’s strategy.

The increasingly fierce competition conditions, making every company must be able to survive, even must be able to continue to grow. One important thing that needs to be done and considered by every company to be able to survive and develop is to maintain the quality of service to the consumer's satisfaction. In choosing the best freight forwarding partner, a mechanism is needed to be able to deliver goods that are truly feasible. One of them can be done using the Decision Support System using the TOPSIS method. based on predetermined criteria which will be considered to be the best partner in the delivery of goods services in Kota Kisaran based on the concept by comparing existing alternatives such as JNE, TIKI, Post Office Indonesia, J & T, and Indah Cargo. Based on each criterion by determining the value of the weight taken from the appropriate research from the object that has been determined Keywords: Decision Support System, Topsis Method, Freight Forwarding Partner Abstrak: Perkembangan industri jasa pengiriman barang mengalami peningkatan yang cukup pesat. Era globalisasi menuntut manusia untuk memiliki mobilitas yang tinggi. Sejak diberlakukannya pasar bebas di Indonesia, membuka arus perdagangan barang atau jasa menjadi tidak terbatas. Kebutuhan akan jasa pengiriman barang semakin meningkat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat. Banyaknya mitra jasa pengiriman barang membuat para masyarakat sulit dalam memilih dan menentukan mitra jasa pengiriman barang yang paling baik. Kondisi persaingan yang semakin ketat, membuat setiap perusahaan harus mampu bertahan hidup, bahkan harus dapat terus berkembang. Salah satu hal penting yang perlu dilakukan dan diperhatikan oleh setiap perusahaan untuk dapat bertahan hidup dan berkembang adalah mempertahankan kualitas layanan terhadap kepuasaaan konsumen. Dalam pemilihan mitra jasa pengiriman barang yang terbaik diperlukan mekanisme untuk dapat mengirimkan barang yang benar-benar layak. The purpose of this study is forwarding services, since at present transport largely determines the opportunities for development of national economies. The basic requirements on the market are the terms of delivery of goods: at the right time, in the right place, with certain consumer characteristics, in the required quantities. All this highlights the issue of freight forwarding service and choice of optimal method of delivery. In recent years, the latest practices and technologies for the delivery of goods, based on the method of integration of transport and logistics, on the development of the latest technologies in the field of informatics and communications, have been introduced into the economic practice of transport and forwarding enterprises and firms. As in other industries, the market for forwarding services has become a market for buyers. Therefore, it is extremely important for transport and forwarding enterprises to study and analyze the needs of society in all types of transport services in order to meet them. Thus, the successful operation of such enterprises is impossible without the active application of marketing research in their business processes. The modern freight transport market is characterized by a greater variety of forms of service. However, the reforms carried out in the country have not been lifted, but, rather, deepened the contradictions of a socio-economic nature. As a consequence, the problems of regulating transport activities are growing and becoming more complicated, as determined by such factors as insufficient attention of the state and local authorities to the problems of transport; lack of holistic coordination mechanism for management, combining elements of overall system management and operational regulation of transport. In a rapidly changing world, it is necessary to quickly respond to the constantly emerging new demands and requirements. This is especially true in the sphere of services. Therefore, transport and forwarding enterprises in order to remain successful and competitive need to effectively organize their activities and offer quality services.

The needs of the community for freight forwarding are now starting to increase with the marketplace. User opinion about freight forwarding services is currently carried out by the public through many things one of them is social media Twitter. By sentiment analysis, the tendency of an opinion will be able to be seen whether it has a positive or negative tendency. The methods that can be applied to sentiment analysis are the Naive Bayes Algorithm and Support Vector Machine (SVM). This research will implement the two algorithms that are optimized using the PSO algorithms in sentiment analysis. Testing will be done by setting parameters on the PSO in each classifier algorithm. The results of the research that have been done can produce an increase in the accreditation of 15.11% on the optimization of the PSO-based Naive Bayes algorithm. Improved accuracy on the PSO-based SVM algorithm worth 1.74% in the sigmoid kernel.

Populations were Freight Forwarding service providers on the list of Thailand’s logistics service providers for freight forwarding service and TIFFA including international logistics company i.e. UPS, DHL, TNT and FedEX. The sample groups were random by multi stage sampling. The size of sample group was 168 persons. The research methods were questionnaires which were analyzed by percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and inferential statistics perfuming by Logistic Regression. The research found that 1) the opinions of Thai logistics providers towards BS8900:2006 Guidance for Managing Sustainable Development was strongly agreement 2) The probability of application of BS8900:2006 Guidance for Managing Sustainable Development was increased 2.134 times and the accuracy of forecast was 84.5%
