Abstract:
The thesis deals with water electrolysis focusing in particular on pulse electrolysis. The theoretical part characterizes hydrogen and its properties as well as the ways of its use and storage. It also analysis various methods of hydrogen generation. It examines in details water electrolysis and its energetic and chemical balance. There is also an evaluation of water electrolysis efficiency and its improvement followed by pulse electrolysis description. Laboratory equipment for direct current and pulsed direct current hydrogen production are suggested. Theoretical expectations are tested experimentally. Finally the thesis presents the results of measurements, compares and summarizes the data. It points out the contribution of this type of electrolysis with its effectiveness. It proposes uses of electrolysis and the subsequent research.

Abstract:
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to find out whether it is possible to measure stress during piloting. If so, it would be possible to develop systems that could help pilots in stressful situations and thus alleviate the stress, this would have great impact and possitively improve work performance. There are few similar studies in the field, the stress factors that affect the pilots and what physiological changes are observable in such situations. Finally, an experimental measurement is performed during three flights, which is aimed to demonstrate the information obtained and thus the possibility of measuring stress and the metod to do so.

Abstract:
Heart rate variability belongs to basic and most frequently interpretation of physiologic statement in medicine. The pulse rate serves as an indicator of the heart activity. The subject of this diploma thesis is projection of the heartbeat counter. The work describes electrocardiograph and separated waves, ways of calculation heart rate, characteristics mechanism for measuring and other necessary information about heart rate measuring. This master thesis fixates on heart rate-calculation from including R-R intervals. Here is described whole project of heartbeat counter, properties of separated blocks and calculation of useful parameters. Further there is noted software resolution for the microcontroller and program for the calculation of heart rate frequency including unwinding signal preprocessing and detection of separated QRS complexes. The products of this diploma thesis are the circuit including the board circuit and codes of separated programs.

Abstract:
The main aim of the thesis is a frequency stabilization of the DFB semiconductor laser diodes. The temperature stability of the laser diode chip, the stability and the noise of the injection current and the backward reflections are the crucial parameters which affects the frequency stability. These influences are described and the resolution is proposed. The theory of the external methods of the frequency stabilization and the comparison of these methods is presented. One method was choosed and this method was realized for 760 and 1540 nm wavelength laser diodes. In this method was used the frequency stabilization based on the linear absorption to the spectral lines of the gases. The diploma work is closed by the measured results of the frequency stability of the used laser diodes and by the comparison of level of stability achieved by the other methods.

This thesis deals with the study of contactless and noninvasive methods for estimation of heart rate. Contactless measurement is based on capturing person faces by video camera and from sequences of pictures are estimated values of the heart rate. The theoretical part describes heart rate and methods that are being used to estimate heart rate from color changes in the face. It also contains testing of tracking algorithms. Practical part deals with user interface of program for contactless measurement of heart rate and its software solution. Thesis also contains statistical evaluation of program functionality.

Abstract:
This thesis deals with the synthesis and optimization of frequency analogue filters with modern active elements usable for higher frequencies. The thesis is divided into three parts, the first part deals with the problematic concerning Leap-Frog combined ARC structure. Due to a difficult design, this method is not described in a detail and used in practice, although it shows e.g. low sensitivity. Firstly, a complete analysis of individual filters was made (for and T endings) and consequently these findings were used during implementation of this method to NAF program. Finally, samples of real filters were realized (for verification of functioning and correct design). Another very interesting topic concerning filters is usage of coupled band-pass for small bandwidth, where it is necessary to solve the problems concerning ratio of building elements values, but also price, quality, size of coils, sensitivity, Q factors, coefficients etc. That is why in practice a coil is very often substituted with other equivalent lossy and lossless blocks which create ARC filters structure. The design and the possibility of usage of lossy grounded elements were described here (such as synthetic inductors, frequency dependent negative resistor). Some parts of the design are individual computer sensitivity analysis, setting of usage and quality comparison of individual lossy grounded blocks. Besides, a program for these elements was created, it is useful for a quick design and depiction of transfer characteristics. The third part deals with the usage of tuning universal filters consisting three or more operational amplifiers, which secures its universality and possibility to create different kinds of transfer characteristic. In practice, Akerberg - Mossberg and Kerwin - Huelsman - Newcomb are the most used types of filters. These were also compared with less common universal filters. In the end, the possibility of digital tuning of universal filter with the help of digital potentiometers for filters of 10th order and frequency around 1 MHz was shown.

Analiza frekvencije saobraćajnih nezgoda predstavlja važan predmetistraživanja mnogih autora. Jedno od ključnih pitanja koje sepostavlja pred upravljača puta je gde da prvo deluje, odnosno kojedeonica puta treba da se tretiraju kako bi se postigao željeni nivopouzdanosti određenog puta. Disertacija pokazuje da se teorijapouzdanosti sistema može koristiti za analizu frekvencijasaobraćajnih nezgoda. Nakon analize frekvencije saobraćajnihnezgoda, sledeći korak predstavlja primena teorije realokacijepouzdanosti. Predloženi modeli razvijeni su za izbor deonica zatretman na osnovu precizno definisanog povećanja nivoa pouzdanostiodređenog puta.
Analysis of traffic accident frequency represents an important subject ofresearch of many authors. One of the essential questions placed before aroad authority is where to act first, i.e. which road sections should be treatedin order to achieve the desired level of reliability. Dissertation shows that thesystem reliability theory can be used to analyze traffic accident frequency.After analysis of the traffic accident frequency, further step is application ofthe reliability reallocation theory Tools have been developed for selectingroad sections for treatment on the basis of a precisely defined increase in thelevel of reliability of a particular road.

Cilj ove teze bio je utvrđivanje polnih razlikau mehanizmima vegetativne regulacije srčanefrekvencije, kao i utvrđivanje razlika u regulaciji srčane frekvencije kod žena pofazama menstrualnog ciklusa. Korišćeni suparametri varijabilnosti srčanog ritma (heartrate variability) - HRV i oporavka srčanefrekvencije (heart rate recovery) - HRR.Ispitivanje je obuhvatilo 90 ispitanika; 45osoba muškog pola (20.4±0.7 god., 184±5.00cm, 79.38±9.42 kg, BMI 23.53±2.83) i 45osoba ženskog pola (20.5±0.6 god., 168±5.25cm, 60.96±6.93 kg, BMI 21.57±2.23) -studenata Univerziteta u Novom Sadu. Zaprikupljanje podataka korišćen je pulsmetar(Polar, Finska). Ispitivanje je sprovedeno umirovanju, kao i u periodu oporavka poslekratkotrajnog fizičkog opterećenja poznatogintenziteta. U prvom modulu snimanje jeobavljano u miru, u sedećem poloţaju nasamom ergo-biciklu, stopala na platformiispred pedala, noge u fleksiji od 90° ukolenom zglobu, ruke na natkolenicama. Udrugom modulu snimanje je obavljeno upriodu petominutnog oporavka poslemaksimalnog opteraćenja u trajanju od 30sekundi (supramaksimalno opterećenje) -Wingate protokol. U grupi muškaracasprovedeno je jednokratno merenje, dok su zagrupu ţena isti moduli snimanja primenjeni u ri navrata: 1. U fazi menstrualnog krvarenja,rana folikularna faza - najniži nivoi estrogenai progesterona. 2. Kasna folikularna faza -visok estrogen. 3. Srednja lutealna faza -visok nivo progesterona i estrogena.U miru kao i u poslednjem trominutnomintervalu petominutnog oporavka određeni susledeći parametri varijabilnosti srčanog ritma:srednja vrednost NN intervala - RRNN,standardna devijacija NN intervala - SDNN,kvadratni koren iz srednje vrednosti kvadratasukcesivnih razlika susednih NN intervala(root mean square of successive differences) -RMSSD, broj sucesivnih NN intervala kojise razlikuju za više od 50ms - NN50 iprocentualni udeo NN50 u ukupnom brojuNN intervala - pNN50. Od parametarafrekvencijskog domena, nakon brze Furijeovetransformacije analizirani su sledećiparametri: snaga spektra niske frekvencije(LF; 0,04-0,15Hz) i snaga spektra visokefrekvencije (HF; 0,15-0,40Hz).Oporavak srčane frekvencije u tokupetominutnog oporavka nakonsupramaksimalnog opterećenja na biciklergometru procenjivan je pomoću sledećih parametara: 1. Apsolutna razlika izmeđuvrednosti srčane frekvencije odmah pozavršetku opterećenja i frekvencijeregistrovane nakon 60 sekundi oporavka -HRR60. 2. Vremenska konstantakratkoročnog oporavka srčane frekvencije uprvih 30 sekundi - T30. 3. Vremenskakonstanta opadanja srčane frekvencije u tokupetominutnog oporavka - T.Utvrđeno je da muškarci imaju veći pik snagekao i prosečnu snagu pri supramaksimalnomopterećenju u odnosu na grupu ţena bezobzira na fazu menstrualnog ciklusa; dok subazalna i maksimalna srčana frekvencija bileiste u obe grupe.Postoje polne razlike u mehanizmimavegetativne regulacije srčane frekvencije umirovanju. Najbolje su vidljive krozparametre frekvencijkog domena HRV-a (LFi HF), odnosno prirodne logaritme ovihvrednosti (lnLF i lnHF). Statistički značajnerazlike u vrednostima parametarafrekvencijskog domena HRV-a između grupemuškaraca i grupe ţena u sve tri fazemenstrualnog ciklusa potvrđene su i u fazioporavka posle supramaksimalnog opterećenja.Postoje polne razlike u parasimpatičkojreaktivaciji posle supramaksimalnogopterećenja koja je značajno brţa kodmuškaraca. One se najbolje mogu procenitikroz matematičke modele oporavka srčanefrekvencije i vremensku konstantu opadanjasrčane frekvencije u prvih 30 sekundioporavka - T30.Nisu utvrđene razlike u mehanizmimavegetativne regulacije srčane frekvencije umiru u grupi ţena po fazama menstrualnogciklusa; procenjeno kroz parametrevremenskog i frekvencijskog domena HRVa.Parametri vremenskog i frekvencijskogdomena HRV-a registrovani u mirovanju kaoi u fazi odmora posle supramaksimalnogopterećenja nisu dovoljno osetljivi zautvrđivanje razlika u vegetativnoj regulacijisrčane frekvencije kod žena po fazamamenstrualnog ciklusa.Nijedan od registrovanih parametaraoporavka srčane frekvencije (HRmax,HRoporavak, HRR60, T i T30) nije se pokazaodovoljno osetljivim za utvrđivanje promena uparasimpetičkoj reaktivaciji kroz fazemenstrualnog ciklusa.
The aim of this study was to determinegender differences in autonomic heart ratecontrol mechanisms, as well as to determineheart rate control differences in womenduring menstrual cycle. Heart rate variability- HRV and heart rate recovery - HRR parameters were used.The study included 90 participants; 45 males(20.4±0.7 yrs., 184±5.00 cm, 79.38±9.42 kg,BMI 23.53±2.83) and 45 females (20.5±0.6yrs., 168±5.25 cm, 60.96±6.93 kg, BMI21.57±2.23) - students of the University ofNovi Sad. Heart rate monitor (Polar,Finland) was used for data collection.Measurements were conducted while restingas well as in a short recovery period after abrief physical strain of known intensity. Inthe first mode, heart rate monitoring wasconducted on relaxed subjects, in a sittingposition on an ergo-bike, feet on theplatform in front of the pedals, legs bent atknees at 90°, hands on thighs. In the secondmode heart rate monitoring was conducted ina five-minute resting period after 30 secondsof maximal exercise (supramaximalexercise) - Wingate protocol. There was asingle monitoring in the male group, while inthe female group each monitoring mode wasconducted three times: 1. During the phaseof menstrual bleeding, early follicular phase- the lowest levels of estrogen andprogesterone 2. Late follicular phase - highestrogen. 3. Mid-luteal phase - high progesterone and estrogen.While resting as well as in the last threeminutes of five-minute recovery period afterthe exercise the following parameters ofheart rate variability were determined: themean value of NN intervals - RRNN, thestandard deviation of NN intervals - SDNN,the square root of the mean of the squares ofthe successive differences between adjacentNN intervals (root mean square ofsuccessive differences) - RMSSD, thenumber of pairs of successive NN intervalsthat differ by more than 50 ms - NN50 andthe proportion of NN50 divided by totalnumber of NN intervals pNN50. After thefast Fourier transformation, followingfrequency domain parameters wereanalyzed: power spectrum of low frequency(LF; 0,04-0,15Hz) and power spectrum ofhigh frequency (HF; 0,15-0,40Hz).Heart rate recovery during the five-minuteresting period after the supramaximalexercise on the ergo-bike was evaluatedthrough following parameters: 1. Absolutedifference between the heart rateimmediately after the exercise and the heart rate registered after 60 seconds of recovery -HRR60. 2. Time constant of short-time heartrate recovery in the first 30 seconds - T30. 3.Time constant of heart rate decayduring the five-minute recovery period - T.It was found that men had greater peak andaverage power during supramaximalexercise compared to a group of womenregardless of the phase of menstrual cycle;while basal and maximal heart rate were thesame in both groups.There are gender differences in autonomicheart rate control mechanisms while resting.These are best visible through frequencydomain HRV parameters (LF and HF), andtheir natural logarithms (lnLF and lnHF).Statistically significant differences in thefrequency domain HRV parameters betweenthe group of men and the group of women inall three phases of the menstrual cycle, werealso found in recovery period aftersupramaximal exercise.There are gender differences inparasympathetic reactivation aftersupramaximal exercise which is significantly faster in men. These differences are bestassessed through mathematical models ofheart rate recovery and the time constant ofshort-time heart rate recovery in the first 30seconds - T30 .No differences in autonomic heart ratecontrol mechanisms while resting in thefemale group during three phases ofmenstrual cycle were found; assessedthrough the time and frequency domainHRV parameters. The time and frequencydomain HRV parameters registered whileresting and during recovery period aftersupramaximal еxеrcise were not sensitiveenough to determine differences inautonomic heart rate control in womenthrough three phases of menstrual cycle.None of the registered heart rate recoveryparameters (HRmax, HRR60, HRoporavak, T iT30) were sensitive enough to determinechanges in parasympathetic reactivationthrough a menstrual cycle.

U disertaciji je predložen i razvijen metod procene izloženosti zaširokopojasna merenja nivoa električnog polja visokih frekvencija.Metod je baziran na određivanju granica izloženosti, kao i njihovomprilagođenju spektralnom sadržaju polja na mernoj lokaciji. Verifi-kacija razvijenog metoda je obavljena analizom rezultata eksperimen-talnih merenja u realnim uslovima.
One new exposure assessment approach for broadband measurements of thehigh-frequency electric field strength is proposed and developed in the thesis.The approach is based on the determination of the upper and lowerexposure boundaries, as well as their adaptation to the specral content of thefield at the measurement location. The verification of the developedapproach was performed by analyzing the results of experimentalmeasurements in real conditions.

In this thesis is described a laboratory process of example of traction control with frequency converter SINAMICS S120. The focus of this thesis is divided into three parts. Modification of the traction to translational motion for transport of the open vessel with liquid. Proposal of the autonomous operation of the traction without connection to other devices such as a personal computer or PLC, including wiring diagram. The simulation of a dynamic movement for transport of the vessel with liquid in the simulation environment MATLAB and implementation using the proposed laboratory traction. Commissioning and activation of each control functions is described step by step.

This master’s thesis deals with problematic of correlates finding of heart rate changes in fMRI data. The first part describes principle of fMRI, creation of BOLD signal, data acquisition, their pre-processing and analysis. The next part describes heart rate variability and its impact on fMRI data. The following section is dedicated to pre-processing of heart rate time series to the form, which can be used in correlates finding of heart rate variability and fMRI data with generalized linear model. The process of statistical testing and its result with discussion can be found in the last part of this thesis.

The thesis deals with the issue of measurement of frequency and its derivative (RoCoF) in simulation software. The aim of the thesis was to compare results obtained in three different pieces of software (PSS/E, PSCAD, MODES). 2 disturbances were simulated in a grid model IEEE 39 bus system and values of frequency and generator speed were assessed. The results obtained in different software are diverse. This is influenced by method of modelling of synchronous generator and algorithm of calculation of frequency. Findings are important for future investigation of power system transients in simulation software and also point to potencial incorrect assassement of frequency in protective relays.

Abstract:
This master’s thesis first deals with the theory concerning induction motor. It briefly desbribes the construction of three-phase induction motors, the generation of tractive force, power flow with loss distribution and also torque characteristic. In the next part an analytical calculation of the parameters of equivalent circuit for an existing induction motor with known dimensions is performed. After the calculation it is possible to find out the rated parameters of the motor, which makes it possible to further compare results with the values obtained by other methods. The next step was to create a model of the motor in RMxprt program, which is later also translated to ANSYS Maxwell 2D model. Simulations were carried out in both interfaces. As the next step the results obtained by the three methods are compared with measured values and also evaluated. The final part of the thesis focuses on the optimization of the magnetic circuit for higher frequencies. Efficiency of the modified induction motor is examined for higher frequencies using RMxprt Optimetrics and this procedure is performed for both default and alternative electrical steel materials.

This thesis contains an analysis of the possibilities for measurement of veryfast pulse voltages and proper expression of measurement uncertainty. It hasbeen proven that it is possible to perform numerical simulation to theresponse of the very fast pulse voltage with rise time at the order ofpicoseconds of the measuring system. Measurement uncertainty ofcapacitive voltage dividers is expressed by Monte Carlo method. The way ofconstructing capacitive voltage dividers with a waveguide resistance isshown in this thesis. The design of four types of capacitive voltage dividerswith extremely good features are shown. Based on these results, capacitivevoltage divider with best characteristics is selected and its measurementuncertainty is expressed.

The master’s thesis is devoted to exploiting of gas-discharge lamps and their dependence on frequency of the supply current. The first part describes the theory of discharge, its types and properties, terms of its origin, and ways of its exploitation. The second part concerns electrical ballast systems of gas discharge light sources, inductive (reactive) and electronic ballasts, principles of their functioning, advantages and disadvantages, and the comparison of their properties. The following chapters deal with low-pressure and high-pressure gas-discharged lamps, compare their properties and describe exploitation of fluorescent lamps. Before conducting the experiment we have described the influence of frequency of the supply current on fluorescent tube lamps. Preparations for laboratory measuring have been also implemented. During the experiment the two types of lamps have been analyzed, the results of the research are summed up in the conclusion.

The thesis deals with the analysis of the usual time and frequency of vehicle mirrors and dashboard observation. Within the theoretical part are summarized the current knowledge of the visual distraction of the driver, or circumstances which affect the conduct and behavior of the driver while driving. Furthermore there is a closer approximation and characterization of devices for recording the driver's eye movement, which is used during the measurement of the usual time of observation. This data is used in the experimental part of the thesis. The results were processed and statistically analyzed to determine the usual time of mirrors and dashboard observation. Conclusions done from the measurement results are contained in the last chapter, which also evaluates contribution of this work to practical use in the field of analysis of road accidents and to improve safety on our roads.

This diploma thesis is focused on monitoring of golf green rolling methods and its frequency impact on green speed on selected courses. In the first part of this thesis issues relating to golf, global history of golf and history of golf in Czech Republic are analyzed, also are described golf green construction methods here. There is also described golf green rolling and the effects of rolling. The next part presents methodology of experiments and presents the results of these experiments. The analyzed data showed that the green speed did not decrease too much during the day. The results of another experiment showed that the different types of used rollers have just a little effect on a final green speed increase. In other words, the differences in green speed increasimg, caused by using of different green rollers, cannot be detected by any golf player.

En tredjedel av de anställda i byggbranschen kommer att gå i pension fram till 2025. Detta medför att unga medarbetare möter stora utmaningar med att producera bostäder i dagens högtrycksbelagda bostadsmarknad. En undersökning visar att anställda inom byggbranschen håller sig vaken om nätterna på grund av oro över jobbrelaterade frågor. Således är det av ytterst vikt att effektivisera och eliminera störningar i produktionen. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att lokalisera vanligt förekommande produktionsstörningar och undersöka samband mellan dessa i olika byggprojekt. Syftet är även att undersöka om JM:s nya metod av uppföljning av tidplaner upplevs vara effektiv av medarbetarna. Studien är en surveystudie med både kvalitativa och kvantitativa inslag. Datainsamlingen sker i huvudsak genom intervjuer med arbetschefer och platschefer för respektive projekt samt diverse dokument från de olika studerade projekten. Data har även erhållits via tillgång till JM:s databas samt en intervju med en av JM:s produktionschefer. Undersökningen påvisar att störningar relaterade till markarbeten, resurser, bygghandlingar och leveranser är de mest frekventa i JM:s byggprojekt. Med utgångspunkt i de nämnda avvikelserna har tre samband identifierats:  Markrelaterade störningar uppkommer på grund av bristande geotekniska undersökningar  Störningar i markarbeten leder till förlängd byggtid  Fel i handlingar förorsakar störningar i stomarbetet Resultatet av studien påvisar även att mätmetoden är för ny för att respondenterna ska kunna återspegla upplevelsen av denna i en större grad. Informanterna uttrycker dock ett förtroende för att metoden kommer att minska förseningar i framtida projekt. Trots det dras slutsatsen att det är orimligt att i detta skede besvara frågan om mätmetoden kan bidra till minskade förseningar av framtida projekt. Utifrån respondenternas syn på förbättringar på mätmetoden kan följande slutsatser dras:  Protokollet behöver omfatta fler aktiviteter så att starttider för alla etapper dokumenteras  Syftet med mätmetoden och visionen för hur tidplansstrategierna kommer se ut de närmsta fem åren behöver förtydligas så att medarbetare får en kännedom om processen för hur störningar skall elimineras
One third of the workers in the construction industry will retire by 2025. Th is entails that young workers in the industry face major challenges with producing dwellings in today's high pressured housing market. A survey shows that employees in the construction industry stay awake at night due to concerns about job- related issues. Therefore it is of outmost importance to streamline and eliminate the disturbances in the building production. The purpose with this master thesis is to locate common production disturbances and investigate the relationship between these in different construction projects. The purpose is also to investigate whether JM's new method of monitoring timetables is perceived to be effective of its own employees. This study is a survey with both qualitative and quantitati ve elements. The data collection is mainly provided through interviews with works managers and local managers for each project as well as various documents from the projects. Data collection has also been obtained through access to JM's database as well as an interview with one of the production managers at JM. The study shows that disturbances related to preparatory work, resources, construction documents and deliveries are the most frequent in JM's construction project. Based on these disorders deviations, three liaisons have been identified:  Disturbances related to spadework arise due to lack of geotechnical investigations  Disturbances in the preparatory work leads to extended construction time  Inaccurate information in documents causes disturbances in frameworks The result of the study also shows that the method of monitoring timetables is too new to allow respondents to reflect the experience of this in a greater extent. Despite the given statement it is concluded that it is unreasonable at this stage to answer the question of whether the measurement method can contribute to reduce delays of future projects. Based on respondents' views on improvements to the measurement method, the following conclusions can be drawn:  The protocol needs to include more activities in order to document the start times for all stages  The purpose of the method and the vision of how the timeplan strategies will evolve during the next five years needs to be clarified

Kardiovaskularni odgovor na različite fiziološke stimuluse moguće je pratiti putem analize razlika utrajanju srčanih ciklusa – varijabilnosti srčane frekvencije (VSF). Ona ima široku primenu u oblasti sporta budući da je monitoring putem VSF krajnje bezbedan, jeftin i jednostavan za izvođenje. Njeni indeksi se razlikuju između treniranih i netreniranih, uvećavaju se u odgovoru na trening izdržljivosti, a padaju ukoliko dođe do pojave zamora i pretreniranosti. Cilj istraživanja je bio da se utvrdi da li postoji razlika između sportista iz grupe dominantno anaerobnih sportova (AN), sportista iz grupe dominantno aerobnih sportova (AE) i nesportista (NS) u VSF u miru i u autonomnom odgovoru nakon testova za ispitivanje aerobnog i anaerobnog energetskog kapaciteta, kao i da li postoji povezanost između rezultata ovih testova i parametara VSF unutar grupa. Ispitivanju je pristupilo 75 sportista koji su zatim razvrstani na osnovu dominantnih metaboličkih zahteva treniranog sporta tako da ih je u AN grupi bilo 36 (20.7±2.4 god., 1.83±0.07 cm, 83.5±12.3 kg), a u AE grupi 39 (20.5±1.9 god., 1.79±0.06 cm, 75.6±8.1 kg). U NS grupi bilo je 39 ispitanika (21.4±1.8 god., 1.82±0.06 cm, 83.1±11.2 kg) iste uzrasne dobi i sličnih demografskih karakteristika sa sportistima. Ispitanici su u različitim danima bili podvrgnuti anaerobnom Vingejt testu (WanT) i inkrementalnom testu za određivanje maksimalne aerobne potrošnje (VO₂max). VSF je registrovana Polar pulsmetrom, a podaci su obrađeni u Polar ProTrainer 5 softveru. Sportisti iz AE grupe imali su više vrednosti parametara SDNN (standardna devijacija NN intervala (interval između R zubca jednog do R zubca narednog, normalnog QRS kompleksa)) i RMSSD (kvadratni koren srednje vrednosti sume kvadrata razlika) merene u mirovanju u odnosu na ostale grupe. Razlike u VSF između grupa tokom oporavka od WanT i VO₂max testa nije bilo. U AN grupi parametar SDNN umereno negativno je korelirao sa vrednostima prosečne snage (eng. mean power, MP) i maksimalne snage (eng. peak power, PP) u VSF u miru i tokom oporavka od WanT. Parametar lnLF (prirodni logaritam vrednosti niskofrekventnog opsega spektra) pokazivao je istovetnu korelaciju u miru sa MP i PP, a tokom oporavka od Want umereno negativno je korelirao samo sa vrednosti PP. Parametar VSF u miru – lnHF (prirodni logaritam vrednosti visokofrekventnog opsega spektra) umereno negativno je korelirao sa MP. Odnos niskofrekventnog prema visokofrekventnom opsegu spektra (LF/HF) pokazivao je umerenu pozitivnu povezanost sa vrednosti maksimalne snage prema kilogramima telesne teţine (PP/kg) i u miru i tokom oporavka od WanT. U AE i NS grupi nisu uočene povezanosti sa rezultatima WanT u miru i oporavku. Kod AE sportista u miru vrednost prosečnog NN intervala (NNRR) umereno pozitivno je korelirala sa vršnom vrednošću VO₂ (VO₂ pik), a umerena negativna povezanost ispoljena je za vrednost maksimalnog broja otkucaja na kraju VO₂max testa (HRmax) sa SDNN, SD1 (kratkoročna varijabilnost Poenkareovog zapleta), RMSSD, pNN50 (procentualni udeo NN intervala duţih od 50 ms u ukupnom broju NN intervala), ukupnom snagom spektra (TP), vrednosti opsega spektra vrlo niskih frekvencija (VLF), vrednosti niskofrekventnog opsega spektra (LF), lnLF, vrednosti visokofrekventnog opsega spektra (HF) i lnHF. Umerena negativna korelacija postojala je i za vrednost srčane frekvencije na ventilatornom pragu (HRvt) sa vrednostima SDNN, SD1 i RMSSD. Tokom oporavka od VO₂max testa kod ovih sportista postojala je umerena negativna povezanost vrednosti VO₂pik sa lnHF, vrednosti visokofrekventnog opsega spektra izraženu u normalizovanim jedinicma (HFnu) i LF/HF, a VO₂pik je i umereno pozitivno korelirao sa HF. U NS grupi naglašeni parasimpatički (PNS) markeri VSF (NNRR i pNN50) u miru dovođeni su u negativnu vezu sa progesijom srčanog ritma tokom VO₂max testa, a dominacija u niskofrekventnom opsegu spektra bila je u direktnom odnosu sa ostvarenim vršnim vrednostima VO₂. U aerobnim sportovima u VSF u miru dominiraju PNS obeležja. Niska VSF u miru i u uslovima oporavka od WanT karakteristika je sportista iz anaerobne grupe sportova. Naglašenost pojedinih PNS markera u miru i uslovima oporavka od VO₂max testa moguće ukazuje na bolji aerobni kapacitet u sportovima izdržljivosti. Među nesportistima bolju aerobnu izdržljivost imaju oni kod kojih u miru postoji dominacija u niskofrekventnom opsegu spektra.
Cardiovascular response to various physiological stimuli is possible to monitor through heart cycle length analysis – heart rate variability (HRV). HRV has a vast application in sport concerning that monitoring via HRV is absolutely safe, cheap and simple for use. HRV indexes are different among trained and untrained subjects, they are augmented in response to endurance training and lowered in the case of fatigue and overtraining. The goal of this research was to determine if there is a difference between athletes from dominantly anaerobic sports (AN), athletes from dominantly aerobic sports (AE) and non-athletes (NA) in resting HRV and in autonomic response after tests for determination of anaerobic and aerobic capacity, and also to examine if there is a correlation of results of these tests and HRV parameters intra-group. The research included 75 athletes who were classified in two groups according to the dominant metabolic demands of the trained sport – the AN group consisted of 36 athletes (20.7±2.4 yrs, 1.83±0.07 cm, 83.5±12.3 kg), and the AE group consisted of 39 athletes (20.5±1.9 yrs, 1.79±0.06 cm, 75.6±8.1 kg). In the NA group there were 39 participants (21.4±1.8 yrs,1.82±0.06 cm, 83.1±11.2 kg) who were of same age and similar demographic characteristics as athletes. The examinees were subjected to anaerobic Wingate test (WanT) and incremental test for maximal aerobic expenditure (VO₂max) in different days. HRV was registered with Polar heart rate monitor and the data were analyzed in Polar Pro Trainer 5 software. Athletes from AE group had higher values of resting SDNN (standard deviation of NN intervals (normal-to-normal intervals – intervals from the peak of one R wave to the peak of subsequent R wave of normal QRS complexes) and RMSSD (root mean square of the successive squared differences) in regard to other two groups. We did not find any differences in HRV between groups during the recovery from WanT and VO₂max test. SDNN parameter correlated moderately negatively with mean power (MP) and peak power (PP) in rest and during recovery from WanT in AN group. The natural logarithm of low frequency spectral band (lnLF) showed the same type of correlation in rest with MP and PP, and it correlated moderately negatively with PP in recovery from WanT. The resting HRV parameter – lnHF (natural logarithm of high frequency spectral band) moderately negatively correlated with MP. The low frequency spectral band to high frequency spectral band relation (LF/HF) showed moderately positive correlation with PP in respect to kilograms of body weight (PP/kg) in rest and during recovery from WanT. In AE and NA group no correlations were seen with the results of WanT in HRV at rest and during recovery. In AE group resting NNRR (average NN interval) moderately positively correlated with peak VO₂ value(VO₂peak), and moderate negative correlation existed for maximal heart rate at the end of VO₂max test (HRmax) with SDNN, SD1 (short time variability of Pointcare plot), RMSSD, pNN50 (the percentage of NN intervals longer than 50 ms in overall number of NN intervals), total spectral power (TP), very low frequency spectral power (VLF), low frequency spectral power (LF), lnLF, high frequency spectral power (HF) and lnHF. Moderate negative correlation existed for heart rate at ventilatory treshold (HRvt) with the values of SDNN, SD1 and RMSSD. During recovery from VO₂max test athletes from AE group had moderately negative correlation of VO₂peak with lnHF, high frequency spectral power expressed in normalized units (HFnu) and LF/HF, аnd VO₂peak did moderately positively correlate with HF. In NA group augmented resting parasympathetic HRV markers (NNRR and pNN50) were in negative relation with heart rate progression during VO₂max test, and a dominance in low frequency spectral band was in direct relation with achieved values of VO₂peak. In aerobic sports PNS tone is marked. Reduced HRV in rest and during the recovery from WanT is seen in athletes from anaerobic sports. Augmentation of some PNS parameters in rest and recovery conditions from VO₂max test possibly suggests better aerobic capacity in endurance sports. Among non-athletes better aerobic endurance was reserved for the ones who showed dominance in low frequency spectral band in resting-state HRV.

Denna undersökning handlar om temperaturmätningar, vilket är en form av frekventa medarbetarundersökningar, och hur dessa tillämpas i en organisation. Syftet är att få en djupare förståelse för hur medarbetare upplever kontinuerliga temperaturmätningar och hur chefer tillämpar ett sådant verktyg. Vi har valt att genomföra undersökningen i en specifik organisation, närmare bestämt Västra Götalandsregionen. Vi har valt att genomföra undersökningen i en och samma organisation för att kunna studera skillnader mellan chefer och medarbetare. Det empiriska materialet har insamlats genom kvalitativa intervjuer med fem chefer och fem medarbetare.  De teorier som ligger till grund för vår undersökning berör till stor del ledarskap. Izvod: UVOD: Metabolički zdrave gojazne osobe su okarakterisane odsustvom metaboličkog sindroma i/ili insulinske rezistencije i sistemske inflamacije. Mali je broj podataka o ulozi aktivnosti autonomnog nervnog sistema u razvoju kardiometaboličkih komplikacija kod gojaznih osoba, kao i o njegovoj vezi sa specifičnom distribucijom masnog tkiva. CILJ: Analiza varijabilnost srčane frekvencije (HRV) kod metabolički zdravih (MHO) i gojaznih osoba sa metaboličkim rizikom (MUO), analiza povezanosti HRV sa metaboličkim faktorima i distribucijom masnog tkiva, kao i analiza uzrasne dinamike HRV kod gojaznih osoba različitih kardiometaboličkih profila. MATERIJAL I METODE: Ukupno 125 gojaznih ispitanika oba pola podvrgnuto je antropometrijskim merenjima u cilju procene mase i distribucije masnog tkiva, izvršena je analiza telesne kompozicije, uzeti su uzorci krvi u cilju određivanja lipidskog i lipoproteinskog statusa, stanja glikoregulacije i nivoa inflamatornih markera, meren je krvni pritisak i procenjena je HRV tokom petominutne digitalne elektrokardiografije. Podaci su statistički obrađeni korišćenjem paketa SPSS 11.5. REZULTATI: HRV mere se nisu razlikovale statistički značajno među MHO i MUO muškarcima. MHO žene su imale više vrednosti RRNN, SDNN, RMSSD, pNN50, LF, HF i TP u odnosu na MUO žene, na čega metabolički profil utiče sa 6,6-11,2%(p˂0,01), predstavljeno kroz parcijalnu deljenu varijansu. Nakon antropometrijskih faktora uzetih u obzir, perzistirale su više vrednosti HF kod MHO žena. Razlika u RRNN, pNN50 i TP između MHO i MUO premenopauzalnih žena (više vrednosti za MHO, p˂0,05) se izgubila nakon kontrole za krvni pritisak. Insulinemija je uticala na pojave razlika u RRNN između MHO i MUO premenopauzalnih žena, parcijalna deljena varijansa 7,6%. SAD kod žena se negativno povezivao sa LF/HF i LFnorm, a pozitivno sa HFnorm, parcijalne deljene varijanse 8,4-11,9% (p˂0,05). Prednji nabor podlaktice kod žena se pozitivno povezivao sa LF i LF/HF, a negativno sa HFnorm (p˂0,01). Visceralna masna masa je predviđala značajno HRV mere muškaraca, parcijalna deljena varijansa 13-34% (p˂0,01). U okviru gornjeg tercila HRV mera RMSSD, pNN50 i LF MUO osoba, HOMA indeks je statistički značajno niži (p˂0,05). Kod MUO osoba SDNN, RMSSD, lnpNN50, lnLF, lnHF i TP značajno su se smanjivali u uzrastu od 19-29 do 40-49 godina. Kod MHO osoba primetna je uzrasna promena HF mere u četvrtoj deceniji života. ZAKLJUČAK: MHO osobe ženskog pola imaju značajno više vrednosti markera varijabilnosti srčane frekvencije u odnosu na MUO. Razlike u HRV merama su uslovljene kriterijumima metaboličke podele, predominantno insulinemijom, vrednostima krvnog pritiska i centralnom masnom masom. Kod žena centralna distribucija masnog tkiva korelira sa smanjenom srčanom simpatičkom aktivnošću dok se periferna distribucija masnog tkiva povezuje obrnuto sa komponentama aktivnosti autonomnog nervnog sistema. Kod muškaraca centralna masna masa, ali ne i periferna, je značajno povezana sa HRV. MUO osobe sa nižom HRV imaju veći stepen insulinske rezistencije, dok HRV ne utiče na insulinsku senzitivnost MHO osoba. Značajniji uzrasno zavisni pad HRV mera primetan je kod MUO osoba, pogađajući obe komponente autonomnog nervnog sistema za razliku od MHO osoba.
Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Metabolically healthy obese (MHO) individuals are characterized by absence of metabolic syndrome and/or insulin resistance and inflammation. Little is known about the role of autonomic nervous system in development of cardiometabolic complications in obese people and about its influence on the specific adipose tissue distribution. AIM: Analysis of the hearth rate variability (HRV) in metabolically healthy (MHO) and unhealthy (MUO) obese people, its connection with adipose tissue distribution, and age dependent dynamics of HRV. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A total of 125 obese patients of both sexes underwent anthropometric measurements in order to assess adipose tissue mass and distribution, body composition was assessed, blood samples were taken in order to analyze parameters of lipid and lipoprotein profile, condition of glycoregulation and inflammatory markers, blood pressure was measured and short term HRV was conducted. Data were statisticaly analyzed using SPSS 11.5. RESULTS: HRV measures did not differ significantly between MHO and MUO men. MHO women had higher values of RRNN, SDNN, RMSSD, pNN50, LF, HF and TP compared to the MUO women, influence of metabolic profile was 6,6-11,2% (p˂0,01), presented through partial shared variance. After controlling for anthropometric factors higher HF persisted in MHO women. Differences in RRNN, pNN50 and TP between MHO and MUO premenopausal women (higher values of MHO, p˂0,05) were lost after controlling for blood pressure. Insulinemia influenced the difference in RRNN between MHO and MUO premenopausal women, partial shared variance 7,6%. SAD in women was connected negatively with the LF/HF and LFnorm, and positively with HFnorm, partial shared variance 8,4-11,9% (p˂0,05). Anterior forearm skinfold in women correlated positively with LF and LF/HF, and negatively with HFnorm (p˂0,01). Visceral fat mass predicted significantly HRV in men, partial shared variance 13-34% (p˂0,01). Within the upper tertile of HRV measures RMSSD, pNN50 and LF in MUO people, HOMA was significantly lower (p˂0,05). In MUO SDNN, RMSSD, lnpNN50, lnLF,lnHF and TP significantly decreased in the period from 19-29 to 40-49 years. In MHO people the change in HF was noticeable in the fourth decade of life. CONCLUSION: MHO women have significantly higher levels of HRV markers comparing to the MUO. The differences in HRV measures are influenced by metabolic criteria used, predominantly by insulinemia, blood pressure and central fat mass. In women, central distribution of adipose tissue correlates with reduced cardiac sympathetic activity, while the connection of peripheral fat mass distribution with components of autonomic nervuos system activity is reverse. In men, central fat mass, but not peripheral, is significantly associated with HRV. MUO people with lower HRV have a higher degree of insulin resistance, while the level of HRV measures does not affect insulin sensitivity in MHO individuals. Significant age-dependent decrease in both ANS representatives of HRV measures was noticed in MUO people, unlike MHO individuals.

This thesis deals with the analysis of micromotion of a single charged calcium ion trapped inside the linear Paul's ion trap and the influence of residual micromotion on the systematic frequency shifts of the clock transition of calcium ion. The fundamental properties of the motion of an ion confined within linear Paul's ion trap are shown in general using a theoretical description. The micromotion component of the overall motion is especially emphasized. A model expressing micromotion in the axial direction of the trap is introduced on the basis of the results of the numerical calculation of electric fields inside the trap. The model is compared to the reality experimentally. Then, the photon-correlation method of detection of micromotion is introduced and subsequently used to minimize and to estimate a measure of residual micromotion in all spacial directions. According to the achievable measure of residual micromotion, the systematic frequency shifts caused by this micromotion are estimated. It can be seen that we are able to reach uncertainties of the relative frequency shifts due to micromotion below 10^20. We expect that uncertainty of total motional systematic frequency shift is in our case limited by thermal motion.

Furthermore, stations with overlapping records are compared. The review part deals with rainfall and the methods of assessment of short duration rainfall intensities. The following part describes the selected historical rainfall series, which serve as a basis for estimation of design rainfall.

The thesis "Response strategies of behavioral frequency questions" deals with response strategies that respondents use to determine the frequency of behavior during the cognitive process of answering to the open-ended as well as closed behavioral frequency questions. The author uses a combination of research methods of cognitive interview with secondary analysis of quantitative data from the European Social Survey Research. The analytical part describes different types of response strategies used by respondents and deals with variety of factors that influence the choice of these strategies. The author analyzes the influence of the question format on the choice of the response strategy and on the answers to the same behavioral frequency questions. The thesis concludes that the choice of a particular response strategy is affected by the respondent's memory, the context within which the respondents have connected the behavior, regularity and absolute frequency of the behavior. The question format affects respondent's answers and it plays an important role during the cognitive process of answering behavioral frequency questions.

Our papers on HRT physiology covered several electrophysiological phenomena associated with turbulent behaviour of sinus nodal discharge after isolated premature beat. Some observations were fairly novel (AV nodal turbulence, QT-turbulence, and HRT after atrial premature complexes), others were confirmative or complementary to the findings of other authors (impact of left ventricular ejection fraction and coupling interval). All of them were helpful for even deeper understanding the fundamental principles involved in HRT that, consequently, may offer an explanation of why HRT is such a potent postinfarction risk stratifier. From the very beginning we tried to suggest that late deceleration phase of HRT does not simply reflect the vagal function but originates from a complex interplay of both sympathetic and parasympathetic systems. Our paper on HRT hemodynamics (Wichterle et al. 2006) together with the article by Segersen et al. (2007) added perhaps "the last piece to the heart turbulence puzzle", as appreciated in Heart Rhythm editorial by Munich working group (Bauer et al. 2007).

Title: The change in heart rate during postural therapy Objectivies: The main aim of this thesis is to objectivize the relationship between the quality of postural stabilization according to the postural provocation test with Propriomed and changes in heart rate, which are monitored during this test (or therapy). Methods: The experimental study includes 18 healthy probands at the age of 20-30 years. To evaluate the level of postural stabilization was used the aid Propriomed, sensors to record movements of Propriomed, shoulder girdle, hand and pelvis; and the measuring program Microswing 5.0. To heart rate monitoring during Propriomed testing was used the sporttester Polar RS800CX. This sporttester was used to evaluate the physical fitness according to the Polar Fitness Test™ (OwnIndex), too. Polar Fitness Test™ is based on the heart rate variability monitoring. The evaluation of results and statistic data processing were done in Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Results: Between the level of postural stabilization in the postural provocation test and the difference between the maximum and minimum heart rate achieved during this test, no statistically significant relationship was demonstrated. Title: Quality of Performance in Shooting Sports related to Heart Frequency Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine the influence of heart frequency on the quality of performance in shooting sports. To compare the control group with the experimental group on the basis of results. Methods: The method for obtaining data was the measurement of heart frequency by means of Polar sporttesters. Processing of obtained results by means of the program Polar ProTrainer 5. Tables and all statistical calculations were carried out by means of adequate functions of the program Microsoft Excel 2010. Results: Results of the thesis pointed out that the heart frequency did not have any influence on the quality of shooting performance of the tested shooter. Introduction: Both QT dispersion (QTD) and heart rate turbulence (HRT) were studied and tested like potential noninvasive markers for risk stratification. Aims: Compare QTD between different groups of patients with expected different mechanism of developing changes in QTD. Investigate if HRT is present following ventricular train drives and depends on left ventricular dysfunction. Test the hypothesis that QTD and HRT parameters assessed during programmed ventricular stimulation correlated to each other and there is association with iducibility of ventricular arrhythmia. Methods: We analysed body surface potential mapping (BSPM) recordings and vectorcardiographic T-loop parameters (T-loop width - Tw and T-loop amplitude - Ta) in 37 healthy women (20 - 36 yrs) in the 36th to 40th week of physiological pregnancy and 2 to 6 days after delivery. Control group contained 18 healthy women. Then we analysed BSPM recordings from 27 psychiatric outpatients treated with prophylactic doses of dosulepin (20 women, 44 ± 13 yrs) and compared to those obtained from 37 healthy volunteers. From these recordings the QTD was evaluated. This parameter was estimated using both BSPM recordings and 12 lead standard ECG. Milk production is one of the most important parts of agriculture. Task of this paper was to examinate relation between milking frequency and total dairy production in Automatic Milking Systems. The thesis evaluates impact of selected factors, such as lactation stage, parity and season of calving, on dairy production and milking frequency. Total of 44,000 records of milk yield from 3 farms was analysed. Data was collected from 2009 to 2011. Relation between milk yield and milking frequency was prooved. The milk production from a cow rises with parity and is highest in second stage of lactation (cca 60th day after calving). Environment is one of very important factors affecting milk yield. Automatic milking system does not deteriorate milking parameters comparing to traditional way of milking.

Further, a systematical description of ten most frequent markers in native and nonnative speakers is included and examples of their use based on the transcription are shown. The author bases her work mainly on linguistic studies focused on pragmatic markers and coloquial Spanish ? on the studies of José Portolés Lázaro and María Antonia Martín Zorraquino and Antonio Briz in particular. The author emanates from Lázaro and Zorraquino?s classification, characterists and use of pragmatic markers. The practical part focuses on the differences in use of pragmatic markers between native and nonnative speakers and examines the frequency and representation of particular types of markers in coloquial Spanish.

The present Master's thesis deals with the forensic use of fundamental frequency characteristics, specifically with F0 mean values and indicators of variability. Phoneticians who specialise in the forensic analysis of speech generally believe that F0 does not hold much potential as a parameter useful for speaker identification, mainly because it is easily influenced by extrinsic factors (e.g. the speaker's emotional state, interfering noise, transmission channel or even the speaker's own effort to mask his voice), which cause high intra-individual variability. Despite these facts, however, the forensic use of F0 offers a number of advantages, namely straightforward extraction from the speech signal and lower susceptibility to varying lexical content - unlike, for example, vowel formants. This thesis investigates the recordings of 8 male speakers made in two different speech styles (spontaneous and read) and compares the respective indicators of F0 stability and variability, in particular those that are robust in varying external conditions: that is, the baseline for mean values and the 10.-90. percentile range for variability indicators.
