Thus, reuse of language infrastructure is an attractive implementation avenue. The central question then becomes, what is the best method to extend languages? Much res

The efficiency of metazoan origins of DNA replication is known to be enhanced by histone acetylation near origins. Although this correlates with increased MCM recruitment, the mechanism by which such acetylation regulates MCM loading is unknown. We show here that Cdt1 induces large-scale chromatin decondensation that is required for MCM recruitment. This process occurs in G1, is suppressed by Geminin, and requires HBO1 HAT activity and histone H4 modifications. Abstract:
The strain (i.e. deformation) history influences the degree of mineralization of cortical bone (DMB) as well as its osteonal microstructure. This study aimed first to examine the relationships of stress and strain distributions with the variations in DMB and the osteonal orientations in the cortical bone of the human mandibular condyle. It was hypothesized that strains are inversely proportional to local DMB and that the principal strains are oriented parallel to the osteons. To test this, ten human mandibular condyles were scanned in a microCT system. Finite element models were created in ord

博士
國立中興大學
生命科學系所
102
1. Functional studies of PAX3 loading on mitotic chromosome Mitosis is a stage where global chromatin structure is changed in the organization and nuclear architecture. During this stage, most transcription factors and co-factors exit from mitotic chromosome and transcription ceases. Although some sequence-sepcific transcription factors remain bound selective sites of the mitotic chromosome, which serves as bookmarking for rapidly gene regulation after mitosis, the details of transcription factors associating on mitotic chromosome are still unclear. Abstract:
Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) class I receptors are glycoproteins which play a critical role in anti-viral immunity by displaying foreign peptides to cytotoxic T cell lymphocytes. The loading of high affinity peptides into the MHC class I receptor in mammals is coordinated by a multiple proteins that are collectively referred to as the peptide loading complex (PLC). To date, the composition of the peptide loading complex in fish is unknown and therefore the characterization of the molecules which may exist in this putative complex was pursued. This thesis includes the cloning and

However, past studies mostly focused on the biochemical mechanisms and bacterial communities of efficient EBPR systems fed with acetate as main carbon source and few investigated systems fed with glucose. In this study, two SBR reactors fed with glucose as main carbon source but with different influent P/C (2/100, 6/100 respectively) were operated at low (0.158 kg-COD/m3-d) and high (0.316 kg-COD/m3-d) volumetric loadings to study the biochemical c

碩士
逢甲大學
電機工程所
92
Abstract In traditional power system, harmonics are often caused by several reasons; for example, the magnetic nonlinear of transformer core, non-symmetric winding distribution, rotor structure of the generator, and large nonlinear loads. Specifically, the large nonlinear loads often result in the distortion of voltage and current. On the other hand, the magnetic nonlinear of the transformer core also significantly result in low-order harmonics especially for the third, fifth, and seventh harmonics. To solve the harmonics resulted by the magnetic nonlinear for the
